Palm Island is one of the coolest places not to mention BEST wedding spot you could dream of if you want a beach-like wedding. Our wedding was amazing and everything we could have imagined. Our guests loved the option to stay at the resort for the weekend so it truly was a destination wedding. Maryanne, the Event Services Manager, is great to work with and super helpful in answering all questions! Would highly recommend!

We had the most amazing wedding at Palm Island! It was such a beautiful setting and our friends and family loved spending the weekend at the beach. The staff was very helpful through the entire process. We had such beautiful photos and video from the beach and reception tent.

I cannot say enough about how happy we were with my son’s destination wedding at Palm Island Resort. The entire staff went above and beyond in every way. It wasn’t just an event - it was an experience. We had 80 guests who stayed at Palm island in February, it’s now October and everyone is still talking about it! I’ve had several people call after attending weddings through out the year at other venues just to say “ It was nice but it wasn’t Palm Island.”

I don't even know where to start! Palm Island is definitely the best kept secret of Florida beaches! As a Floridian I have been to almost every beach for vacation but this is my favorite spot. It is impossible to know Palm Island is there unless you have plans to stay. You have to take a car ferry across the very short water way (2 minutes!) but as soon as you cross you're on an island paradise. This keeps the resort off the main drag and extremely private. The beach side (gulf side) is gorgeous with one of the best sunset views! The bay side has boat slips and great fishing opportunities. All of the condos have fantastic water views no matter which level of condo you purchase. We had our wedding here and it was the best day of my life! The staff was so accommodating and helpful! Kacey and Lisa worked to make sure everything was perfect for our day. I felt zero stress. We had about 100 people at our beach ceremony site and clubhouse courtyard reception. Both areas were walking distance (but I would recommend a golf cart as it adds to the experience) and so beautiful with the natural scenery. The venue was able to accommodate our 9 piece band that kept the party going until 10:00pm. I cannot say enough about how helpful and kind the staff were. We met our head bartender while eating dinner Thursday night and he took care of us all weekend. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the same location and again everything was taken care of by Kacey and his team. The food and drinks available at the island restaurant, Rum Bay, are delicious. They catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner as well and everything they provided was excellently cooked! I truly felt like my family, friends and I were the only ones on the island that weekend. My husband and I can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary!

This is an amazing venue with an amazing staff! Casey handled everything and had it all under control. It was my dream wedding and because of the entire staff on the island! It’s a beautiful location and my guests are STILL talking about it!!

I can’t put into words just how amazing our wedding day was! Of course you have the stress of all the little things but the staff at Palm Island was on point! KC and Lisa are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet!! Thank you for making our special day even more special!!

Beautiful venue. Lisa Amy and Kacey all helped tremendously from recommending other vendors that have been to the resort for weddings before, to giving us their cell number for last minute details. Our wedding was a dream come true. Thank you to everyone at Palm island Resort! All of our guests LOVE the resort and many will return. My husband and I will definitely be back soon :)

Amy and her team at Palm island are amazing. If you want a beach wedding in Florida, want some privacy, and don't want to break your bank, Palm island is for you. All of our guests enjoyed the wedding but also the resort. Most of them made it into a vacation. Everyone who works at this resort is friendly, patient and welcoming. I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to say I do. The island will forever be a special vacation spot for us.

dream destination wedding 5/13/17 at Palm Island Resort. From start to finish Lisa and Amy (event coordinators ) were fantastic. The resort is absolutely beautiful!! Our guests enjoyed the beach, pool, golf cart rides, food and drink. Everyone at the resort is friendly and helpful and made our wedding weekend perfect! We would highly recommend Palm Island Resort if you are looking for a magical destination weekend filled with the perfect mix of beauty, fun and relaxation.

The perfect destination wedding! We had the most beautiful beach ceremony here at Palm Island Resort at sunset. Every picture is postcard worthy! The location is very private and feels exclusive at this island location - only accessible by car ferry. The staff all went above and beyond to make our wedding a magical event. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the property, the food, and the staff. Everything came together easily with the help of event coordinator Amy. She made things simple for me and ensured that the event went seamlessly. I highly recommend Palm Island Resort for your wedding! You will not regret it! We are already planning a trip back for our 1st anniversary!

One word....AMAZING!! My partner and I of 15 years had our wedding here and it exceeded our expectations. Amy is outstanding and one of the BEST event planners around. Lisa is sales is awesome as well. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Food and beverage is top notch. The location, is priceless. I am a local, and many people have never even heard of this place. This was our dream wedding and it exceeded our dreams and expectations! The wedding was a month ago and Our guest are still talking about how amazing and unique the wedding was.

This place is a hidden gem and I am so lucky to have found it! It's not everyday you get married on a private island ! I love everything about this location especially the drop dead gorgeous sunsets! Food, drinks and staff are all incredible especially Amy and Lisa with event services. The resort is reasonably priced and even though it is a private island it is not pretentious in the slightest bit! Amy was so helpful and helped make my wedding day absurdly magical! The only downside is the 10pm reception cut off time which depending on the time of year and if you are planning a sunset wedding, may shorten your reception time. Other than that everything else was a complete fairy tale and I would advise any bride to host their wedding there as the location takes your event and transforms it into an unbelievable experience!!! My guests are still in a daze and cannot stop posting about it all over social media. They are completely obsessed!!! We will be returning for our anniversaries there for many years to come, Palm Island will always hold such a special place in my heart =]

We had our dream wedding at Palm Island Resort. It was almost like we had our own private island and all our guests had such a great time. Being from Tampa, we wanted a beach wedding but also wanted to stay away from the tourist filled beaches around the Tampa Bay area. After just one visit, we knew Palm Island Resort was the place. It is next door to Little Gasparilla Island and down the road from Boca Grande. Event Coordinator Amy Loy was super helpful throughout all our planning and the entire wedding couldn't have gone smoother. Two weeks later, I am still getting compliments with guests telling us it was the best wedding they'd attended. If you're looking for a unique beach wedding location, Palm Island Resort will not disappoint! We're looking forward to going back in the near future.

She helped us with a special menu including a craft beer, wine, cheese,Thai Carpaccio (which was Amazing), and rack of lamb. This is not the food found on the standard menu but we found out they have an amazing Thai Chef ! They gave us great pricing and helped us make our day perfect! Lisa still has our photo over her desk and we always stop in to say Hi on our visits. I'm helping a friend plan her 2015 wedding and I accidently posted under her log in on my computer. I truly hope she loves her vendors as much as we loved ours!

The Sales staff was extremely helpful! Food and Beverage staff were amazing. It was a beautiful wedding and we had plenty of options to choose from. The Villas are wonderful and rates for your guests are affordable. Would reccomend to anyone!

My husband planned the entire honeymoon as a surprise for me - and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect get away! The resort is all by itself, a 135-acre island with a maximum capacity of only 85 guests or so. It's all-inclusive and has plenty of activities for the day! The best part was that you could choose to stay active all day, or hang out on the beach in a hammock and relax under one of the many palm trees. As an added bonus the staff is tremendous!!! We will definitely be back for another visit as soon as possible!!!

We have lived 40 minutes from this tropical paradise for nearly 10 years and didn’t even know it was there! The resort offers 100 privately owned villas on a 2-mile stretch of pristine natural beachfront that is accessible only by boat or car ferry, with the primary mode of transportation on the island being golf carts! When you depart from the car ferry or tie up at the docks, it’s an unmistakable feeling of relaxation as you approach Palm Island Resort. We chose Palm Island because we felt it would provide the ideal setting for romance, as well as a simple expression of love to our dearest friends and family…and it did just that. Our big day was everything we had envisioned and although our gorgeous backdrop played a huge part, the staff played just as big a role. Lisa and Justin, event coordinators, are amazing and made everything a breeze. They led a team that set up everything for our ceremony and reception…all we had to do is wait until it was time for the “I do’s!” We couldn’t have chosen a better local and are looking forward to returning to celebrate years of anniversaries in our found paradise, that just so happened to be in our back yard, but feels a million miles away!

If you want to get away and get pampered, this is the place! Great location, great property, great food and restaurants, great facilities. And great service: Chris and the staff are amazing. It's all inclusive, but it doesn't cut corners. Highly recommended.
