Where do I even begin????? Holly and her team are INCREDIBLE. I worked closely with Holly in the months leading up to my wedding and she was quick to respond to emails, texts and phone calls and always put my needs first. A few days before my wedding, I had the normal pre-wedding jitters and was very emotional and had a lot of anxiety, and I texted Holly asking for some advice, and she called me right away (it was 8:30 at night!!) and she was so sweet and talked me through how I had absolutely nothing to worry about, she has my back, and my day would be perfect! I started to cry happy tears because in that moment, I knew I had the best planner and that I had zero worries going forward. Holly is creative, she is kind, she’s fun, and she works SO HARD. I could not recommend her enough!!!
We chose paper heart events and Kalen was our wedding coordinator. She did a fantastic job. Great communication, so kind and very helpful. I feel like she went above and beyond. She made our dream come to life. Very pleased with her services. Holly was also amazing with the planning. Highly recommend them!!
Holly and Kalen are absolutely amazing. Paper Heart events are the best at what they do. My wedding was flawless and ran without any issues. I had no worries or stress and was able to just enjoy the day. They helped me through every step and communication was so simple and efficient. Even my mother was blown away by their efficiency. I would recommend them to anyone!
Holly helped make my wedding day so perfect! I'm a perfectionist and type-A personality, and Holly made me feel so at ease that everything would be taken care of. I still can't believe how beautiful our wedding was and how well it all came together. I was able to completely relax on my wedding day knowing that Holly had everything under control. On top of everything, she helped organize and clean up all of our ceremony decorations, so when it was all over there was minimal clean up for us to do - so thoughtful! I am so glad we chose Holly!
We were married this August at the Adamson House in Malibu and Holly did an amazing job at our wedding. She was organized, efficient and knowledgeable. She was the best investment we made with the wedding and couldn't have done it without her. We planned our wedding from out of town and she always made us feel at ease after talking with her. The rehearsal and day of the wedding went smoothly and we had a perfect day thanks to Holly. From our first phone chat with her we knew we were in the right hands. Holly went out of her way on more than one occasion to help us and certainly beyond the call of duty. I (as a wedding DJ) have had the pleasure of working with Holly at Paper Heart Events. As a wedding vendor (who works with many different coordinators) I have seen many good coordinators. Holly however is GREAT. From start to finish Holly provides exceptional service. Not only to the bride and groom, but everyone involved in the entire process. Holly is precise in the execution of your big day. From the rules of the venue to the timeline details, she is on it. I have yet to see a flaw in Holly’s work. Of the hundreds of weddings I have worked with coordinators, Holly stands alone at the top of my list of recommendations. Do yourself a favor and book Holly and Paper Heart Events, you will thank yourself.
Holly is incredible and anyone is lucky to have her as their wedding planner/coordinator. From our first skype interview I knew she was the right planner for me and I looked no further! Holly is incredibly detailed, thoughtful and resourceful, as a type A bride she really made me feel at peace, I have a hard time trusting anyone with work I could be doing myself but with Holly I had zero concerns! Nothing went wrong the day of my wedding, it was perfect!! Holly handled a big wedding with many elements and was there morning until very late. She managed all of the little details I wanted seamlessly. All of her prep documents were incredibly helpful, and made me think of several things we hadn't even thought of. Holly is also very sweet and I was sad to no longer have daily correspondence with her. This woman and her team is amazing!!
Let me start, we have been married for over 4 months and I should have written this so long ago. But! We could not have had the day we had without Holly. From the beginning she was incredible and took amazing care of us, even behind our backs to plan some spectacular surprises... She went well above and beyond what we would have imagined to give us the day of a lifetime. Holly had our backs when there were problems with our bartenders (which we had no idea about until the end of the night). She was there all day to help make sure our vision came to life and that everything was set up as it should be.
We are completely in love with our dog and were heart broken that no animals could be at the venue but were resolved to still have an incredible day even without him there. When my MOH called Holly to see about surprising us with our pup, she made it happen and... my husband cried! We were so overjoyed to see him in his bow tie & cuffs, even for a few minutes and that is a truly irreplaceable gift to us. She is truly there for the bride and groom, some of our bridal party were unruly and might have thought she was being tough but it is all in an effort to ensure things run smoothly and go right. There is so much she did for us that I could go on and on.
I should have written this review a long time ago, as we're coming up on our first anniversary, but actually my opinion of Holly has only grown in the year since our wedding. I never planned to have a coordinator/planner - I was always excited for the planning and the binders and doing it myself, and saving the money seemed like a perk. Another one of our vendors encouraged me to contact Holly anyway, and I am SO glad I did. It was the single smartest thing we did for the entire event, and is now a legend among our families.
From the first conversation, Holly was very real and transparent with us. She was factual and honest, but never pushed us to do anything any differently than we wanted. She was very respectful of our ideas, offering suggestions and potential complications we hadn't considered, but also enthusiastically supporting the things that mattered to us. She was organized while being human and relatable, a combination that's crucial for anyone associated with the wedding.
I was not stressed at my wedding. I know not everyone can say that, but honestly, so many guests commented on how calm and happy I seemed that day (and I am NOT a "calm" person), and it was because I knew Holly had it. From the moment we handed off all our decor to her the day before after the rehearsal that she ran like a well oiled machine (even though our dog was the ring bearer), we just got to enjoy ourselves. Everything was handled at every turn - everything was in its place, she handled the details I hadn't even thought of, the decor was set up perfectly, no one was late or missing - she even made sure there was no drama, which is above and beyond her job. The venue cut our cake early, and I don't know what magic Holly worked but there was a cake cutting and it was a great story instead of a total disaster. She also didn't do any of this in a bossy or intrusive way - if you weren't our family or wedding party, you wouldn't even have known she was there.
There have been several weddings in our family since ours, and at literally every one people have commented on how great Holly was at ours, and how smoothly everything went. She absolutely MADE our wedding, and I am eternally grateful.
I can't say enough about how much I recommend Holly's services. In fact, I would venture to say that if you're reading this review and trying to decide whether or not to hire her, you need to stop right now and just do it, because Holly is the superwoman of all wedding coordinators. Looking back on our wedding from 3.24.18, I honestly can't fathom how we could have made it successful without her. She is extremely professional and very, very knowledgeable - she made so many useful recommendations for us with both vendors and setup, and it took about 90% of the stress off my shoulders just knowing I had her on my team to provide input and guidance. She's incredibly organized as well. She made sure we stayed as close to our timeline as possible, and everything went so smoothly - many members of my bridal party, who are all recently married and/or have been in numerous weddings, were extremely impressed with her. I actually met Holly when I was in my best friend's wedding back in 2016 and she was their coordinator. When I saw her in action, I knew I had to have her for my wedding too. Best decision I made (besides marrying my husband of course). Holly, we cannot thank you enough for making our day the best day it could possibly be. You're a rock star. THANK YOU!!!

In short, we had a relatively quick engagement.
July-Dec 31. (5 months). EEkKKK!
I am a nurse & was recently hired on for two new jobs. Therefore, I had limited time to do the "heavy lifting." (Picking out vendors DJ, Floral, Transportation, Make-up Team, etc.) We already had the venue but I needed someone to steer the way for me! Timelines, Deadlines, Payments, Scheduling, picking trusty vendors, etc. (Esp since we were married on a holiday).
Holly truly has the most WONDERFUL PICK of 805, 301, 818 Vendors! EVERY single company she recommended was WONDERFUL! They were so easy to work with, kind, happy, made my experience so fun.
Additionally, I am an extremely detailed person. Therefore, I liked holding the reins for things like invitations, specialty napkins, cups, New Years Eve Garb, specialty desserts, cake topper, our photo booth, meals, etc.
However, when it comes to hosting a 170+ party you REALLY need someone who understands your vision, thinks 5 steps ahead of you, and can handle LOTS of personalities, drunks, and possible chaos!
As the BRIDE, I can truly say she kept ALL of the craziness away from me & executed EVERYTHING I organized for her. (And trust me, it was a lot of stuff!) She was also wonderful in handling my loving yet crazy mother....& trust me that is a high regard!
As a PERSONAL EVENT THROWING ENTHUSIAST I HIGHLY recommend HOLLY as an investment to your day XOXO

From the beginning, my Mom and I wanted to do majority of the wedding planning and design. As a result, we wanted a coordinator who was not only organized, but could understand and execute our vision. From the moment we concluded our phone consultation, I knew Holly was the one for us. She was concise, organized, and kind. We selected the Wedding Management (aka Day-Of) service which included: phone/email communication, three in-person meetings, rehearsal coordination, family/wedding party schedule, custom wedding timeline, setup/teardown etc.. I brought both my parents to the first meeting and she made us each feel heard and included. When it came to vendors, I researched and booked each of them. Mom and I gathered all decorations and cataloged our desired setup of each table along with the ceremony/reception floor plan. Holly guided us along the planning process with questionnaires, checklists, and deadlines. Those questionnaires brought so many details and ideas to mind I hadn’t thought of - so helpful.
Wedding Day was my prayer and dream come true. Holly made every detail we had envisioned flow with ease and she commanded a wonderful, organized presence. No vendor, family, or wedding party member was out-of-the-loop because Holly was there with answers and a schedule for everyone. Two words: Hire Holly!
We can't praise Holly enough! Our wedding day couldn't have gone more smoothly. If something did go wrong, my husband and I didn't hear about it. She reminded us of every detail, things we wouldn't have even thought of without her. Even our wedding party and family commented on how great and on top of everything Holly was.
We know our wedding day wouldn't have been as successful as it was without her. I HIGHLY recommend Holly! She's worth every penny and more!
Since our wedding two weeks ago, my husband and I have repeatedly said that Holly is the BEST investment we made during our wedding planning process. I literally don't know how to put into words the value of Holly's hard work before and during our special day. But I'll try! :) I was super questionable about hiring a wedding coordinator for our wedding. My husband and I are both in the hospitality industry and thought we might be able to find a friend or do all the planning ourselves. (That was naive of us) However, once I had my first conversation with Holly, I was sold. Not only is she super organized and detailed- oriented, she has a very specific method for how she creates a successful wedding for each couple. She gets to know the couple and their priorities for their wedding, giving her the ability to make any necessary decisions during the day of, so the couple will not be bothered and able to enjoy their experience. What more can you ask for?! Not only that, but Holly was completely open to OUR vision of the day. She places no judgement on how the wedding "should" be or what is typically traditional. She truly wants it to be your experience. Holly was prompt in her responses, kept me on track and remembered everything we wanted out of our day. She even drove my husband and I to our rehearsal dinner so we didn't have to worry about taking a car! She just goes above and beyond in every possible way. Our wedding day was completely seamless. Everyone says at least one thing will go wrong on the day of your wedding, just plan for that and expect it...I can honestly say, nothing went wrong during our wedding day and I completely attribute that to Holly! The timing was impeccable and we had the best experience of our life. In addition, even our families, wedding party and guests continually commented on what an expert Holly is! Please take my word for it and hire this woman! You will not be disappointed!!!
