Picking them up and dropping them off was easy and the chair covers and napkins we rented from them made our venue look beautiful. I price shopped A LOT before deciding to go with Paper Moon and they were by far the best price. Highly recommend!!
Paper Moon did a great job of accommodating us for my daughters wedding in August. They set up for us on the day of the wedding making our day much less stressful than it could have been. We made last minute changes two weeks before the wedding and Paper Moon accommodated those changes and went above and beyond. They were always polite, helpful and never pushy. We would use Paper Moon again in the future with no hesitation. They know how to run an exceptional business. Thanks again Sue and Ed.
Paper Moon is the best event planner ever. We have used Paper Moon for multiple events. Our daughter’s destination wedding in Traverse City, MI, a wedding shower and a baby shower at our home.
Sue and Ed’s Paper Moon special event business had everything we needed, from chairs and tables to covers and lighting. Customer service was exceptional. They were very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Sue’s expert interior design skills for color, décor, and direction transformed the venue up north for the wedding and at our home to carry out the themes for both showers. They custom built items to help define the dance floor and created an impressive backdrop behind the head table at the wedding. There was special custom décor for the large entry of the reception building, making it very special and inviting. They worked very well with the other vendors and building directors while there. They delivered and picked up in a well organized and timely manner. The Floral bouquets were gorgeous and centerpieces were perfect.
Beautiful, elegant, quality, fun, and comfortable…. No worries for each occasion! We continue to hear compliments to this day!! We were very pleased and impressed! We would recommend them for all events!

For several years I have relied upon Sue and Ed for making special occasions, top-notch. They've helped me plan themed parties, holiday parties, and most recently, an outdoor bridal shower. Sue's creative and innovative ideas are endless. She consistently exceeds my expectations, and has helped design beautiful spaces in which to create priceless memories.
I would highly recommend Paper Moon for your event planning! They did a wonderful job with our backyard wedding last month. We rented tables, chairs, tents, glassware, linens and it was all fabulous. I went into the store with limited knowledge of what I wanted and walked out with a dream. Sue made it all come together with her detailed planning and it couldn't have looked better! We were so pleased with the great quality items and exceptional service!

I rented chair covers for my wedding from Paper Moon, and their service was awesome! The gentleman whom helped me didn’t rush me, and showed me several covers and sashes. He had all the answers to my questions. What impressed me most, was when he called me to tell me they had new chair covers which he thought would fit my chairs better, with no change in the price. They also, seemed flexible on pick up dates. Overall the service was great, and I have no complaints. The covers and sashes looked great at my wedding!

Paper moon did a beautiful job of setting up our chair covers and sashes along with a Mr. & Mrs. Banner for our wedding reception. Eveything looked very elegant! Just make sure you clarify with them if you or Paper Moon will be disassembling the covers and so on after the wedding.
Paper Moon Wedding & Event Specialists did a great job managing all of the details of my mother's 80th birthday party. Sue MacKeller, the owner, was very creative and resourceful in helping us pull together all the details of the event. She had vendors ready to handle every aspect of the event ... from linens and tent rental to the caterer and entertainment. Sue is wonderful to work with. She is patient and never complained when I changed my mind on details. She organized an elaborate event with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in a tent on the green and dinner in the golf club dining room. I am glad I used Paper Moon and would use them again. I recommend them for any type of event.

We rented chair covers and bands from Paper Moon and put them on ourselves, it was so easy and they looked great. Carmen from Paper Moon stopped by and helped us put them on to make each chair look fantastic in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn. We really appreciated her time to help us. Then the next day, Carmen came and picked up the linens that we rented to return them for us, she did this on her own. Thank you so much Carmen, Paper Moon really cares for their customers!!
Paper Moon has been very helpful in planning graduation parties and wedding rehearsal parties for us. They come in, put everything up, including tents and a floor the band can use, tables, seating -- and wonderful colorful flags to help identify where the party is -- They are very reliable, imaginative, and flexible. Paper Moon has been great at giving us new ideas and still keeping the budget in mind. And then, the day after the party - take everything down. They are easy to work with and lower the stress level of putting on a party.
Sue and her team at Paper Moon were great to work with! My daughter's wedding was at the Grand Rapids Public Museum and we had the unique challenge of getting everything ready in a 2 hour timeframe. Sue was extremely organized, worked well with the museum staff, and all was ready on time for our guests. It truly was an incredible experience to walk in and have it meet and exceed our vision. Sue asks all the right questions, gives great suggestions and all the services Paper Moon can provide, makes having an event easy and less stressful. We rented all our our table cloths, table skirting, chair covers, and bows for the chairs through paper moon and they came out beautifully! They gave us a lesson in tying the bows before hand to make them look professional. Everything was great quality and came in organized totes, making it easy for set up.
The service at Paper Moon was outstanding and they knew my venue well! They offered suggestions on quantities and were so helpful with setting up on the day of. The linens we rented from them completed the look that I was going for and they were such a pleasure to work with!

I used Paper Mon Rentals to help plan a dinner reception at a family event. Sue from Paper Moon is incredibly organized and on top of the ball, she is always quick to respond, helpful, creative, and caring. She was full of ideas ranging from color schemes and decorations, menus, helping to make connections and work with other vendors, and even costume rentals for several of our guests! Paper Moon is a catch all company for these services, and even helped us by setting up a fabulous photographer who captured the event in wonderfully flattering ways while being perfectly invisible during the actual night. The photographer specifically went above and beyond by taking many group photos despite being hired for candids and by showing up early, staying late, and optimizing all of the features of the setting, dinner, and guests. Sue and the staff at paper moon worked tirelessly on the weekends for many months leading up to the event to reply quickly, create new ideas, and fulfill any request we might have. This was incredible service and showed the absolute best of what Midland has to offer both in terms of services and for physical provisions.
We used paper moon for table linen and chair covers, chair swag, gift table swag, seating charts, table number rentals and reception flowers. The flowers were exactly what my daughter wanted. Fresh and beautifully done.
They also brought all supplies to the venue and put all in place for a reasonable fee.
So nice to have everything taken care of and have it all looking great on the special day.
They have so much to offer for the ceremony and reception.

I used paper moon for my chair covers, bouquet, corsages, and seating chart. I turned out amazing! I couldn't ask for a better wedding day. They were great about last minute changes and made sure everything was perfect!
My Fiancé (now my wife) began in 2014 to look for ideas for our wedding on 05-15-15. We went to the Papermoon and met with Sue and Ed. We spoke to Sue and told her our general ideas and she gave us her ideas and they really matched and exceeded what we had in mind. Sue worked very closely with us during the planning stages of our wedding. On the day of the wedding there was a problem with the chairs at the reception venue. Sue advised me of the problem and handled it with ease and took the pressure off of me on our big day If you need an experienced, trustworthy wedding planner Sue and Ed at the Papermoon will provide you with the wedding of your dreams!

It is with pleasure to write a review of the Paper moon in Midland MI. I have had the privilege of working with Sue and Ed for a number of years from Auctions to Weddings, to Social gatherings; I have never been disappointed only blown away at their creativity, ability to pull off new and different venues that no one has ever seen before. I recently had the pleasure of working with Paper Moon on a Colleague wedding, their Best Man was a Police dog, their venue was cancelled at the last minute and Paper Moon pulled off a new venue that allowed Service animals to be present. This wedding was small, quaint, and elegant all due to Sue and Ed going the extra mile without being asked. I actually witnessed clearing tables, washing dishes and still being a part of the festivities to ensure this couple’s special day was wonderful. I have never experienced such Customer focused service in all of my years. I originated from a “Big City” and landed in a quaint Community, only to find such an extraordinary company such as Paper Moon. If I were to rate them on a scale of 1-10 they would truly come out as a 12.
I can't begin to say enough about Sue and her staff from the Paper Moon. Sue set the mood of my son's wedding with beauty and excellence. They handled everything from start to finish. I would highly recommend the Paper Moon.

My son and future daughter in law and our families went to Paper Moon for my son's wedding. Paper Moon gave us some wonderful ideas! Unfortunately the wedding was out of town and Paper Moon already had other commitments on our date. It was a great value for the money and I would recommend Paper Moon for any of your party planning needs. Sue is so creative and has fresh ideas!

When I first went looking for someone to handle our decorations, I was intimidated by the lack of services in the Mount Pleasant area, but lucky for me there is this little shop just outside of the area in Midland, ran by a fantastic lady by the name of Sue.
From the second we met up for our appointment, she knew exactly how to match up my bridesmaid dresses to the colors we were after. It seems a little expensive to go with a business to handle your decorations but on the day of your wedding, they only thing you should have to worry about is YOU.
The Decorations that they did were Fabulous! At the slightest hiccup we were on the phone or through email almost 24 hours a day. Sue always had a solution and did the best job of making the reception, ceremony and floral arrangements just gorgeous! Did I mention that they also work face to face with most of the venues in the area. This means that they know what the rules are and are able to get the job done that much quicker.
If you are looking for a place to go, there is a reason they say "I should have gone here first' Because when Sue is taking care of your wedding, it will always be beautiful!
Paper Moon did a phenomenal job at my recent wedding. They have an amazing ability to take your ideas and turn them into a beautiful reality. The options are endless and they are so adept at pulling everything together. My reception was more beautiful than I could have imagined.
They are also extremely professional and reliable. I was confident with them at my wedding that everything would be done perfectly.....and it was! They are truly a delight to work with.

They have not been in business as long as they have, without the commitment and follow through that they are known. What really was our deciding factor on selecting Paper Moon for our wedding, was the passion that Ed and Sue have for their business.
After meeting with them our first time, I knew they would be easy to work with. Their easy going personalities, knowledge, professionalism, and attitude were nothing short of spectacular.

This was my second wedding and our location was a small rustic setting in the woods. Paper Moon was able to create a classy, sophisticated look that blended so well with our vision for the space. The owner of Paper Moon, Sue, is very creative. I loved the beautiful work she did and remember all of the small details that made the room look picture perfect! When my kids graduate soon I plan on hiring them for that special occasion too.

My wedding wouldn't have been perfect without the Paper Moon Wedding Specialist there to help. Sue is very detail driven and thinks of things before they become a problem. She was the eyes and ears at the wedding and I knew I could trust her and her team to make sure everything went smoothly!
Sue and Ed helped us throw the perfect farm wedding in a 100-year-old barn in northern Michigan, and helped us with decor for our rehearsal/welcome party for out of town guests.

I worked with Sue and her staff to put together the blingy plan the bride wanted. We had an outdoor wedding and I had no worries with the set up and tear down at the venue. Sue and her staff made sure every detail was done. We also rented the chair covers and bows, and with that came the bling for the bows and the napkins. The table runners and bows matched the theme perfectly. Thank you PaperMoon for helping male my daughters wedding beautiful.
We were guest at a wedding that Paper Moon coordinated. The bride, the groom and their families were able to relax and enjoy the evening because Sue took care of all the details! The fact that the wedding ceremony and reception were held outside required unique planning. She organized and coordinated the entire event and I would not hesitate to recommend Paper Moon for all your special events!
Sue MacKeller of Papermoon made my daughter's wedding day perfect and allowed myself, mother of the bride, to enjoy the day as well. Sue handled everything, with special attention to my wishes and goals. Our wedding was outside in our farm's backyard, under tents, which was a logistical problem in and of itself. She handled the Save The Date notices as well as the invitations. She subcontracted for the tents, caterer (wait staff), florist, limousines, valet parking, security, porta potties, in addition food for the vendors.
She provided all required rental items and her competent crew set up everything beautifully and added details such as decorations for the golf carts, seating charts, menu cards for each table and other signage.

It was important to me to be able to enjoy the evening so we hired Sue to be on site for the wedding and coordinate all the vendors and to make sure everything went smoothly. She and her husband handled the evening flawlessly. She also coordinated the rehearsal the prior evening.
I know that Sue has at least 30 years of experience in Wedding planning and as a result, has come across every sort of problem imaginable. Her advise was invaluable. She's also a "quick draw" on a cell phone and was always available, day or night.
Our wedding was on the larger side with 260 guests but I know that whatever the size of your wedding and budget, Papermoon can pull it together for you.

My experience with Papermoon was mixed. The products and end result were as I envisioned, which was great. However, throughout the planning process, the staff was forgetful (i.e. Missed adding items to the order following discussion), and the added costs for set-up/teardown were a little high. We ended up not choosing to pay for teardown due to the description of the actual teardown activities. This was a bad choice. One large portion of the teardown was omitted in the discussion (backdrop and icicle lighting). As a result, my husband and I did not finish until 1am (and that was with help from friends and family).
If you decide to work with Papermoon, my recommendation is to ask as many questions as possible, review your order after each change, and stay connected with the staff throughout.
We were married September 6, 2014 at a personally owned outdoor venue. Sue and her team at Paper Moon made it the most memorable day for not only my husband and I but our guests as well. There wasn't a single thing I would have done differently and Sue had such amazing ideas and really made my ideas come to life! They took care of everything from the tent, place settings, linens, flowers, podiums, food, valet parking, right down to the beautiful lantern lighting of the path from where the tent was to where the valet area was. They literally have EVERYTHING you could ever even think of having/needing. We still have people telling us how amazing our wedding was, her team didn't miss a single detail. I would recommend them to anyone looking to make your special day as stress free and seamless as possible.
I worked with Sue and Carmen at Papermoon and they were awesome!! They were very helpful in picking the most appropriate linens for our event. I received several compliments from our guests about how fabulous the ballroom looked. They have several linen options and accessories available for any wedding theme. We hired Paper Moon to do our event. Amazing. Not only were they soooo helpful, but everything was done flawlessly. The decorations were beautiful and the compliments were endless that evening. Overall very pleased. Gorgeous design, professional setup/tear down, helpful, kind, great ideas, listed to us, looked better than I imagined. Wish I would have been a little more involved with the flowers, but they were fine, and they only forgot one little skirting which no one else knew about so I guess that was fine too. They knew us by name and were always happy to help! Fabulous!
I worked with Sue at Papermoon and she was great! The linens were a perfect addition to our room decor and really helped us achieve the feel we wanted. We are very happy with the service we received!
We ordered stemless wie glasses with our monogram. They were on time and petfect
The people at paper moon were happy to show me the many options for chair covers. Once I made my choice, that was it. I chose to assemble them myself as the wedding was outside of Midland. I just picked them up two days before the wedding and had someone return them two days after. They were organized and packaged beautifully to make it simple. They even showed me how to tie the bows so my bridesmaids would know how. Also, at $1.75 per cover with sash, you can't really get cheaper. They were a luxury for sure and totally not necessary, but made a huge impact.
I used Paper Moon for my chair covers and a few table linens. I worked with Carmen and had a great experience. She took the time to show me the different styles of sashes, materials and ways to tie them. I called all over the state on pricing and they were the closest in proximity and the least expensive. Itwas truely amazing how adding the covers could transform a room and it was money well spent.

I got 300 chair covers from them and 91 were different. :( Very disappointing
I ordered little mason jars to put M&Ms in however when they arrived I could only fit maybe 12 M&Ms in them. I ended up eating the cost and buying bigger ones at a local store. The website was very quick and the size was listed, I just didn't look at the measurments.
