This is the perfect wedding venue! Gorgeous setting, plenty of space to adapt to any plans and you can’t beat the sunset on the lake. My daughter got married here on 3/15 and it was fantastic. Extremely reasonable rates, and for the value, it was exceptional. From the initial planning to rehearsal and final coordination, to the actual event from start to finish - everything went smoothly. Jay was a delight to work with and he was very accommodating. Ingrid was the wedding coordinator, and she was simply amazing. She was great at keeping everything moving smoothly and constantly adapted to our shifting timelines. Ingrid was flexible and respected how we wanted the event to unfold. She made it happen beautifully and was there to the very end. Can’t express my appreciation enough to the entire team there, and I could not be more pleased with everything about my experience with Paradise Cove.
Tina Crawford,
You and the location, are far and beyond what we could have ever expected. From the initial tour with you, to our Grand Exit, and every moment in between, you were on top of it. Your day-of coordinator skills were impeccable and truly displayed how you command and expect nothing but perfection from everyone. The venue itself is beautiful, both inside and out. The gazebo is perfect for an evening wedding with a beautiful sunset. The interior setup was amazing and matched perfectly with what we were looking for. We will be recommending you to everyone we can think of.
This venue is INCREDIBLE! The lakeside sunsets are gorgeous. My wedding was magical and beautiful and everything I dreamed of and more. Tina and her team are amazing. I can't recommend this venue enough!
We got married earlier this month and I am so thankful for our venue. We upgraded to the linen, bartender, and coordinator service and I would say it was worth every penny. Tina our day of coordinator did such a great job, if anything went wrong I did not know it. Our day was magical and the view was amazing.
In regards to communication, I found that email was the way to go - I would get any question answered within 24 hours/1 business day.
In regards to 1000$ deposit, we were able to get our refund pretty easily, our caterer did a walk-through with Tina prior to the wedding. Tine gave the caterer a straight to the point do's and dont's which they were able to follow to give us the deposit back.
Upgrades to package: Tina gave us details about the other possible upgrades in packages but I did not feel she was being pushy to get us to add these.
I hope this helps anyone looking into a pretty venue with good people.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
My husband and I just got married at Paradise cove on June 22,2022.
While the venue itself is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, I have nothing positive to say about the staff for paradise cove. Tina ( the owner of the venue) pushed us to have her as "our day of coordinator " expressing that she has tons of experience and knows exactly what to do and when to do it. She expressed that she would make herself available for any questions and concerns we had along the way and even went as far as providing me with her personal cell phone number. I should have caught on sooner because she was extremely unresponsive when I finally did message her with questions. If she would respond to my texts she usually would tell me to "ask Dawn." Which is her partner who handles the finance portion of things. Needless to say that having Tina in charge meant that NOTHING went as scheduled the day of our wedding. We were late on almost everything, our guests were NOT informed of anything that was happening, the crew was rude to our guests based on feedback that we received from family and friends, AND the bridal suite didn't even have proper air conditioning! My bridal party and I sat back there sweating for 2.5hrs waiting for Tina to get the show on the road.
There was so much confusion and Tina was very scatterbrained. She was unable to give proper answers to questions when asked and I feel that the workload is too much for her. When we needed her she nowhere to be found. She kept referring to her "crew" which involved herself and 2 other people (which were the "bartenders") one of which showed up several hours late. Definitely not a good look.
During our conversations with her, Tina informed us that couples get upset when they hire outsourced coordinators that are not familiar with her venue and that those people usually do not get their deposits back because they leave trash ect. So like some fools we were convinced that hiring Tina was our best option to ensure that our special day went smoothly. HOWEVER, not only did we pay Tina an extra $1,300 to have her as our coordinator because she claimed to be so "knowledgeable" she also refused to give us back our $1,000 deposit. Which absolutely defeated the purpose of having her coordinate to begin with. She was COMPLETELY useless. My mother-in-law even made it a point to check in with her all night to ensure things were as they should be the night of.
It had been radio silence from Tina since the night of the event until she finally reached out via email a week later to tell us we won't be getting that money back. A true con artist that has now scammed us out of a total of $2,300 & used Gods name to do it. What a shame.
She added so much stress to the night of our wedding and then failed to follow through on the promises she made. Please look elsewhere before booking with her place. All that glitters isn't gold here.
We chose this venue because of its beautiful outdoor ceremony space and intimate indoor space. The ceremony area overlooks Lake Grapevine and fortunately for us, we had beautiful weather for an outdoor ceremony! Tina is the owner/venue coordinator and I would 1000% (yes, 1000!) recommend adding the venue coordinator package because it made my day sooooooo much more stress-free to have her manage our timeline/vendors instead of me managing that on my own. That package also includes her team helping with the decoration setup and even arranging my smaller floral centerpieces (helped me save soooo much money compared to having a florist do it) and they looked great! Tina was very accommodating and she kept me updated throughout the night of what was going on. I really am grateful for her and her team for making my day so special. I would've been a wreck without her (high-anxiety bride over here)!
If you are wanting to get married in DFW this is the place. Tina and her team are amazing, they made our day perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. They took care of everything for me so I did not have to stress, and they have so many decor items, I saved so much money not have to buy things for one time use. The service was exceptional, and the venue is so beautiful. I feel like I made some life long friends, and she had so many great recommendations for vendors it made my life so easy. Tina has been in business for 20 years, and my package included her being my wedding coordinator, and I’m so thankful for her. There will never be enough words to explain how awesome they made this once in a lifetime opportunity.
we love the places and have not decided “yet”
It was a fairy tale! The venue is beyond beautiful. My wedding day didn’t have great weather but it was perfect.
Paradise Cove is a gorgeous venue! Tina was so sweet the day we met her to tour the venue. She is incredibly flexible with her packages and accommodating with the items she includes. We had a couple of things happen that made it evident that an old version of our day-of timeline had been used. If I could go back, I would have reviewed that, and the packing list of decor items with her before the festivities began. We ended up having ushers which we had not wanted, the bar tender poured for a champagne toast that we had requested to not have (so a good number of glasses of champagne got quite warm), and I could have had someone pick up the fresh rose petals for the send off (instead of freeze dried that were supposed to be for decor), if we had re-reviewed the day-of. Also, there were chairs set up outside so our guests were confused if it was an outdoor wedding (it was not) or not... And last call was announced an hour early. I'm really not sure how that came about, but it was corrected rather quickly. Overall, we loved working with Tina! She was responsive on some fairly obscure questions and planning requests during the process. We highly recommend Tina and this venue for the beautiful location, the value, and flexibility!
This venue is so beautiful, especially the outside ceremony space! I absolutely love the owner Ms Tina. She’s the best! Very helpful, flexible and attentive to your needs leading up to the big day.. I received so many compliments on the venue even though it ended up being freezing cold on my wedding day. Who would have thought it would have been cold at the end of March in Texas.. I would have given a 5 star, if the coordinating was a little better, I felt like things were very rushed since it was cold and things were done out of order and we didn’t get to do things that were important to us like the bouquet or garter toss or the toasts (which our best man, maid and matron of honors were disappointing about)
This venue was picture perfect and I couldn't ask for anything better for our big day. When we first toured the venue we fell in love but it was Tina who really sold us on this venue. She was quick to help, offer suggestions and she made everything so easy. When it came to the big day Tina handled everything and I had the time of my life that night. I can not say enough wonderful things about this venue!
We searched high and low for the perfect venue and realized quickly paradise cove was it! It’s beautiful inside and out. The view of the lake and landscape made our outdoor ceremony stunning. Tina was a delight to work with and really helped put this bride at ease every step of the way. The entire staff helped our wedding go off without a hitch. They don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing like the other venues we looked at do. She let us set up the day before, which was a huge relief and took so much stress off on our big day. They also packed up all of our stuff for us and stored it till after our honeymoon...how awesome is that! It’s all the little things that set paradise cove apart from all the rest! We were also able to have a surprise firework display over the lake, giving that special “WOW” moment. Thank you Tina and Brent for going above and beyond for us!
This venue is amazing and one of a kind. Tina is amazing. Brent is amazing. I cannot sing their praises enough. We chose this venue for a few reasons: 1) it was on the lake, 2) we could bring in our own food (though you have the option to have them do it as well), and 3) TINA.
I didn't worry about a single thing the day of the wedding - which I can't tell you how much is owed to Tina (a lot). Every aspect of the wedding was perfect, which makes me so happy I could cry [again].
If you're looking for an outdoor (or indoor) venue in the DFW area - this is your spot! The lake view is beautiful. The outdoor patio is fabulous. The reception hall is stunning.
The venue has decorations you can use - my centerpieces were PERFECT. The bridal suite is plenty big for everyone - we had 7 bridesmaids, 4 H/MU artists, me, and 2 mom's. We had plenty of room.
If you have any questions, Tina is available to answer them leading up to the wedding. She knows it all and is so passionate about it all - which makes her that much better to work with.
Thanks so much for all you did for us, Tina. Your venue is truly something special.
My husband and I got married at Paradise Cove on November 18, 2017. We could not have asked for a better venue! Tina Nealy is the owner and was also our wedding coordinator for the day of, to make sure everything ran smoothly. We had about 120 guests, and our ceremony was outdoors with an indoor reception. The property is gorgeous: they have an outdoor gazebo near the lake, and the bridal suite is fully equipped with mirrors, a restroom, and plenty of sitting space. We signed our contract exactly 1 year before the wedding, and throughout the entire wedding planning process, Tina was available for meetings, very responsive to emails/texts, and let us visit the property throughout the year to help with planning decorations, logistics, and even bring our dog to practice with him around the outdoor gazebo and inside the venue. Tina and Brent were exceptional at making sure everything ran smoothly and that all of our guests and wedding party were having a great time. We didn’t feel as limited on timeframe, her packages are very inclusive, and she was willing to set up and take down our table decorations (she even packed them up perfectly in the labeled boxes they came in the next morning). While our wedding day was unexpectedly windy (30 mph winds), everything worked out wonderfully! What I loved about using Paradise Cove is that it truly felt like our wedding represented us as a couple- my family, husband, and I loved working with her, and we could not have imagined a better experience!
Tina was amazing! She made sure that our wedding day was the best day of our lives! She coordinated everything for us for the day of and made sure that everything went so smooth! She went out of her way to ensure everyone was comfortable and having fun! The venue is so beautiful and everything that we hoped for on our wedding day! She even took pictures of events throughout the wedding that way we could look back on our big day before we get the professional pictures from our photographer. She ensured that all of the other venders were doing what they were supposed to and made sure that everything went great for us!
The venue is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and the owner/coordinator Tina is truly an angel. Tina answered every question I had, she provided lots of useful advice and insight and she took care of every detail on the day of the wedding. She's a true advocate for you and will make sure that your day is as special and perfect as can be.
Where do I even start? If you are looking for the cliff notes version. Everything was perfect. And Tina (owner/manager of the venue) is an angel and god send. Without her, we would have had a very different wedding.
The venue is a gorgeous little slice of down-home heaven. The lake is beautiful, the property is sprawling and gorgeous. Tina and her staff have worked really hard to re-cultivate the landscaping after the flooding a couple years ago and it looks great!
We went with an a la carte rental here so we used our own catering, flowers, cake, DJ, rentals, etc. But Tina coordinated the wedding with the help of her husband and that was the game changer, because they really pulled all of the details together. She has had over a decade of experience and she knows this place like the back of her hand.
I learned that you can put in all the leg work, secure all the vendors, have the most beautiful venue, most expensive this and that but if you don't have someone qualified and experienced in putting it all together when it really matters that it will be all for nothing.
She made sure that I was never rushed, and made me feel really special. I will have the best memories for the rest of my life thanks to this beautiful place and the beautiful people that make it what it is.
Thanks for everything!
MY DREAM WEDDING CAME TRUE!! Tina and her team were flawless. Everything went perfectly. We had a THOUSAND questions and she never made us feel like we were bugging her- ha! She answered every question we had and actually put out fires before they started. I realized how much I didn't know when it came to weddings and preparation...what if's.... back up plans... Tina had it all covered! I was very impressed with her and her team!
Thank you for such a wonderful, memorable, gorgeous, FUN wedding day!
There is no way there is going to be enough room for me to tell you how much I love Paradise Cove and their staff. My husband and I had our fairytale wedding day here in March 2016. When we were planning our wedding we went on tours of several venues in the area and honestly I was starting to feel like all I was hearing was all of the things that different places couldn’t do. When we got to Paradise Cove, not only was it a breathtaking venue but Jennifer had such a great can-do attitude. You just got the feeling right away that they know what they are doing and they are going to go above and beyond to make your day perfect. I like that they had an all-inclusive package so you didn’t have to worry about providing tables/chairs/linens/silverware/etc. -That really helped shorten my to-do list.
They have a tasting a couple of times a year so you can try all the food options and meet and discuss options with their chef. All of the food is great – we had the Italian menu served plated. It was great, everyone got a serving of chicken, pork AND pasta instead of picking between the three. The portions were generous and many guests commented on how impressed they were with the food. We also liked being able to provide our own alcohol here. This not only helped us stay in budget but it allowed us to serve beers from our home towns and some sentimental wines to our guests.
I was a very DIY bride, we did my flowers, made a lot of décor and I had anticipating my bridesmaids and I having to do a lot of the set up the day of the wedding, since a lot of these responsibilities would normally be taken care of by a florist or rental company. Tina and her team would not hear any of it. Maureen, one of the coordinators, had me send her photos of how I’d like things set up and the day of they took care of everything so we could relax and get ready in the bridal suite. I did not have a single worry on my wedding day, everything was taken care of, including watching our timeline and letting me know when we were needed to do things like cut the cake/toss the bouquet and garter, which allowed us to have fun and be in the moment with our friends and family.
If you are looking for a wedding or other special event venue, you can’t get better than Paradise Cove <3
We were one of the couples who ended up being relocated in June, because of the flooding. We were moved to The Ranch of Lonesome Dove, but I’m leaving the review for PC, because I was told their staff would be in charge of everything.
A week prior to my wedding, Tina was awesome in helping me to envision a nice wedding at RLD, which was a less than ideal venue for me. I really considered canceling the wedding and just eloping, but Tina assured me that all would be okay. RLD was a little too big for my size wedding, but Tina said we could maybe fill extra space with cocktail tables or something. The day of my wedding, half the venue was BARE and I asked about the cocktail tables, but the workers were telling me, “Cocktail tables? Did you bring your own? We don’t have any.” Maybe this was a miscommunication, because I thought that those would be provided to me. It really irritated me that I had to find this out LAST MINUTE.
We were told that The Ranch would turn on the AC so that the building would be comfortable for the bridal party when we came to get ready at 2:30. Needless to say, the AC was NOT turned on when we arrived at 2:30 (on the dot) and it was HOT AS HELL. It was miserable doing hair and makeup…our makeup and hair artists almost passed out from the heat, so I was DREADING putting on my dress. There was almost NO PRIVACY in the bridal suite since it was next door to the groomsmen and connected to the ladies’ restroom, and the groom almost saw me before the ceremony! At this point Jennifer was helping us out, but then she told me she’d be passing the baton to another coordinator, whom I’ve never worked with or even heard about.
I also wanted a grand entrance, and Tina assured me that she’d talk about it with Jennifer, but nothing was really done about that and everyone could see me through the giant glass doors that separated the inside from the patio. I wish they had shades or some sort of partition, but no. Also, they didn’t open the doors all the way, so it was awkward for my dad and me to walk out with my train.
Ceremony was BEAUTIFUL nonetheless, and we had fun taking the pictures, which came out GREAT despite the flooding! Unfortunately the yummy appetizers we were looking forward to were served during our formal picture taking, and they put them away before we came back in. I asked my mom about them, and she said that the servers were hoarding them in the back, so MY MOTHER had to tell them to bring the food back out. SO MANY PEOPLE complained to me afterward about this, because they only got one (or NONE) of the appetizers. I was SO disappointed.
The rest of the night ran smoothly, but the next morning, I found that I was missing several things from the reception. Somehow, I was missing 6 table runners and PC staff never got back to me about whether or not they had those in storage. Then, what irritated me the MOST was all of the cupcakes that I had (we bought cupcakes instead of a tiered cake) were MISSING. I found out the the wedding coordinator took the rest of my cupcakes HOME, thinking that I didn’t want them. Those were at least $50-$60 worth of GOOD cupcakes…HECK YES I wanted them! This was something the coordinator should have asked before hand.
Some of my guests were concerned about the bartender also being drunk—he was hitting on a couple of my guests who were young enough to be his daughter. Pretty creepy.
Tina is a very welcoming person who made me feel special from the moment I contacted her to look at Paradise Cove. Hearing Tina talk about her passion for Paradise Cove, and how she personally keeps up with the beautiful flowers and grounds made me even more excited to have our wedding there. After comparing other venues in the area, it was obvious that Tina offers more services at a competitive price to her brides. I knew that planning a June wedding would mean that they would be busy with other weddings as well, but Tina and her staff never made me feel like I was put on the back-burner during their peak season. My emails were always met with a prompt and sincere response. I was heartbroken to learn that Paradise Cove would no longer be usable for my wedding due to the lake flooding. Tina went above and beyond to try to find an alternate location and offered her services if we had to reschedule, or at a different venue. I was overwhelmed with Tina's generosity, knowing that she had so much on her plate at once. Although our path took us in another direction, I am so thankful for all that Tina and her staff had helped us with during our engagement! I can only imagine how wonderful they would have made our wedding day at Paradise Cove. Our wedding day was perfect at the other location, but a piece of my heart will always wish that we could have stayed at Paradise Cove in June.
Paradise Cove was great to work with, they do all their own in house catering, but also allow you to cater in. Their food was awesome! They also provide a bar/bartender and you are able to bring in your own alcohol (this def was the less expensive route!). Our wedding went off flawless. Their wedding coordinator is awesome and on top of everything. No detail was left out!
Love Paradise Cove! It was a beautiful day, Jennifer and her team did an amazing job and I truly could not have asked for a better night :-)
The food was Delicious especially the stuffed mushrooms and the bartender was so nice. over all it was perfect, what more could a bride as for!
Everything was perfect! The venue, on its own, is gorgeous. My decorations, which were antique rustic went perfectly with it. The staff, who was always very positive, was willing to meet with me as many times as I wanted before the actual day. The day went so smoothly with their help. I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments from the guests I got on the food that was served. The stuffed mushrooms are delicious!
I can't say enough good words for Tina and the crew at Paradise Cove!!! The venue is absolutely stunning and Tina was such a joy to work with throughout the entire process! I picked the full service package where they cook the food and decorate the reception area. Tina helped me keep on track with all of the things to do and worried about all the details while I enjoyed my day. Tina's wedding coordinators are definitely top notch and made sure our day went like we wanted it to. They were flexible, and also helped wrangle my husband :) All the guests at the wedding told me how great the food was and how wonderful the wedding was planned - all due to Paradise Cove! I would highly highly suggest this place for a wedding ceremony and reception!
We just had my daughter's wedding at Paradise Cove last weekend (12/3/11). My daughter described the wedding as "the perfect day." Thanks to you, Tina and your staff, for all the hard work and for making my daughter feel so special. The weather didn't cooperate for an outside ceremony but within a matter of minutes Tina had transformed the fireplace area into a beautiful stage for the ceremony. The venue was perfect, the food was delicious (we had Mexican), the bartender and wait staff were great, the prices were very reasonable, and Tina went over and beyond to make our planning easier. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone for a wedding. Tina met with us several times, made really helpful suggestions, and always answered our phone calls within a reasonable time. She is truly a perfect wedding planner. She provided everything she promised and more.
I used Paradise Cove for my wedding this September, and I could not have been happier with how everything worked! THe service was exceptional, they were very attnetaive, answered all my questions no matter how silly or what the time was, they were very flexible, and they were organized. I would 100% reccomend them to anyone in the DFW area looking for a beautiful place to get married on the lake!! IT WAS PERFECT!!!
When my husband & I went to look at Paradise Cove we fell in love with it and decided to put a down payment down right away. Tina, owner/coordinator, was absolutely amazing! While already knowing we wanted the venue she explained all that was included in the cost and we got much more than we were thinking: coordinators(2) the day of, tea light candles, drinks (non-alcoholic), snacks for the bridal suit, and more!!! The venue knows what they are doing and has everything down to a T! Tina is VERY organized, on time, and a perfectionist - a great quality to have so you can relax on your wedding day. Tina bent over backwards to make everything perfect and easy on us.
The day of there was another coordinator that was a bit much and stressed a few of us out. And during pictures I wanted my entire family in the picture, but she kept yelling "only immediate family" and so with me being so caught up with everything else I would never get all my family in the picture .... I know things are rushed but I felt like I was being pushed a bit. Although, everything happened and happened well. I know I couldn't do it on my own. Make sure you know what you want and you tell who ever coordinates your wedding day. Make sure someone sees and goes along with your "pictures to take list."
The food was amazing! There were compliments! And I went to their open house and tasted everything ... everything was amazing! Also, Tina has a list of vendors she loves & now I love too! We used almost everyone she recommended (no fees to her), and the only vendor I was not happy with was one she did not recommend! It is also ALL INCLUSIVE which is AMAZING! Some other places nickle & dime you for extra chairs and forks ... that's too much for me! Everything was thrown in and easy on us (bar/bar tendor/security/table settings/candles/food/drinks)!!!
Their alcohol rep was the cheapest in all of Dallas and delivered for a flat $40(beer, beer kegs, wine, liquor)! Florish (Man & A Woman) were SO talented, fun to work with, made everything Beautiful, & well-priced! The DJ was great, easy to work with, and by FAR the best priced in town - for sure!!! We got our own cake and photographer. Check out the Christmas Tree store in Dallas for cheap/cute/trendy decorations!
If I had to do it all over again I would still go to Paradise Cove - Tina & the venue were amazing!!!
Great for a beach or tropical look without a destination wedding! A gorgeous venue with everything you need for the perfect day.
Tina is the owner and main wedding coordinator. The event cost was very high. She is good at answering questions and seems prepared. However, she is VERY inconsistent and tries to intimidate and lash out at others so that she doesn't have to compensate or take responsibility for her errors. She is pretty terrible to work with in general and passive aggressive in every way. Everyone makes errors but she still will blame everything on you. There were a few issues. They did not provide hand passed appetizers during pictures to the family since we had to start late due to the rain. She did handle the dj well who was a few hours late, but no one watched our florist even though we had explained our order to Tina. They did not wrap our top layer of the cake as she said they do, so found a lot later that the permanent container we had provided had the cake in it with no wrapping at all. Our florist was disastrous. Due to the rain we could not have the officiant hooked up on the pa system that the venue provides. They were able to still run the ceremony music, though. Also, I was not told that it would be too slippery for guests, videographer, and photographer so that provided a lot of problems. They do have the option of moving the ceremony indoors where the reception is which is a nice option. Indoors there is a romantic ambiance. We were not told that I would start my walk down the aisle from very far away so he would see me before I actually got to the aisle. That was interesting. It is right on the lake so it is beautiful. Some of the staff was a little bit rude but mainly they were good. The food was not the best. The meats were overcooked and dried out, the potatoes were over cooked and not seasoned well, the green beans were under cooked and under seasoned. They do have Many services they provide as inclusive so that is nice. Also, sometimes it is hard to get the type of service that you are thinking you will get. Originally we were told we could have the wedding party and families served rather than buffet, but that was changed to just parents and grandparents. Also, if you give her the number of guests before the wedding, the tables are set up accordingly. You have to let her know a week in advance. In our case, many people did not come due to the rain so we could've gotten a larger discount and there was nothing that she would do about that since we had already submitted our count. Overall the atmosphere was nice. We didn't have alcohol but you can do that if you pay a fee and have a patrol officer paid and on duty. Tina lets you have a lot of reign on how you have things set up and she helps you a lot. I think the cost was fairly expensive due to some of the quality issues however there are a lot of things that you get for the price. It is a good venue if you want to be on the lake and have everything at one location. Just make sure you ask tons of questions and go to a tasting but make sure the food will be the same. Our tasting had amazing potatoes and green beans but they weren't like that at the reception so keep that in mind. The appetizers are great. The use of the bridal room was nice too but the guys have to be out in the bar area in front of everyone and have no privacy so that was not nice for them. She will be rude and try to intimidate you so just go elsewhere or be prepared to get everything in writing!
The wedding/reception site turned our beautiful, but it was due to my wedding party and family.... we all had to do what we thought was included in the contract, which was tie all 200 chair sashes outside and 200 inside as well. Even though we picked a menu it was slightlt different when the reception took place. We had to fight to get the extra money we put down even though it was promised back to us. The owner seemed nice until the wedding day, then she wouldn't let me set my items up the way I wanted, even had guest sit inside while we paid a band to play out at the ceremony site as they arrived, leading to our wedding starting 15mins late and ending in the dark instead of sunset. But- it was the best day of my life, other than that!
