We worked with Paramount for our summer 2024 wedding and had a great experience. Our tasting was a blast, and they were really fun to partner with to come up with our unique vision. Our guests are STILL talking about the food!

Paramount Events was an amazing partner to work with for our wedding. Jennifer and Annie were so helpful and immediately understood our vision. They were very communicative and made the planning process so much more enjoyable. On wedding day, they were very attentive to all of our needs, especially any dietary restrictions our guests had. The service was A+ and we had multiple guests mention how professional and attentive each of their staff members were. On top of that, the food is absolutely delicious. We had steak, chicken, and a vegetarian gnocchi and all three were outstanding. We could not recommend Paramount Events enough!

We selected Paramount to cater our wedding and we could not have been happier! Rachel and team were so responsive and helpful in answering our questions, and from our tasting to our wedding day, everything was flawless! Our wedding is going on two months ago and to this day, we and our guests still think about and rave about the food! Paramount is friendly, professional, thoughtful, and their food can’t be beat!! The Paramount Events team elevated our wedding from good to great! Every front-of-house staff member was professional and attentive. All of the food came out exactly like it did at the tasting. All of our guests were raving about the food all night, from the hors d'oeuvres to the late night! The hors d'oeuvres were passed to all guests, the soup came out hot, the entrees were restaurant quality, the sweets and late night were a hit! You could taste the freshness in all the dishes and the presentation was beautiful. I also loved that the leftover food was donated to a local shelter and any additional food scraps were composted, what a great initiative to be more sustainable! Rachel and Caroline on the sales team were so easy to work with. They were very responsive and flexible when I needed to make changes. They ensured all the vendors worked together to bring the wedding vision to life! The attention to detail was apparent from every staff member, and they were proud of their work (as they should be!). It was evident that Paramount has a great culture and a fantastic team that loves what they do.

Paramount was absolutely incredible for our wedding. Not only was the food unbelievable but the team was great at communication and amazing to work with. We had a very collaborative experience finalizing the menu and picking place settings. They were so helpful and thoughtful sharing their expertise for other elements of the wedding such as when I was designing our menus, bar sign, and escort cards. Our guests loved the quality and presentation of everything Paramount provided. I highly recommend booking Paramount!

The service from Paramount Events from start to finish was absolutely exceptional! I knew we had the right caterer from my first correspondence with Rachel Heuermann. Rachel was a complete pleasure to work with throughout the planning process for my daughter's and son-in-law's wedding. She was kind, knowledgeable and an incredibly good communicator! During the tastings for the wedding, we got to meet Jodi Fyfe, Owner and CEO, as well as Devon Quinn, Chief Culinary Officer. We loved the fact that they had their own greenhouse on site and work generously with the community. We felt Paramount always went above and beyond to give us exceptional food, service and everything we imagined for the wedding! The wedding reception was beautiful, from the incredible food to the exceptional service throughout the evening. The hors d'oeuvres, entrees and desserts were AMAZING! The presentations to our guests were beautiful, and we received so many compliments about the food! I know there are so many caterers to choose from in Chicago, but I highly recommend Paramount as everything was so amazing and exceptional! We thank everyone there for all that they do!

Paramount Events were amazing to work with. Not only was the food amazing but Rachel the director of sales truly went above and beyond for us, stepping out of her role to work with our other vendors on countless occasions and basically acting as another wedding coordinator for us. We had tons of questions and she was there for us every step of the way. The entire experience was above and beyond from the tasting which is in their restaurant and which was personal and exquisite, to communication which was always responded to promptly, to the overall coordination and execution on the wedding day. We received so many compliments on the food and presentation, all of our guests including my husband and I were blown away. We also had a private server as the bride and groom and she was beyond amazing and so nice, we did not even realize that her service came with our package which was so nice on the big day. All of the servers were so amazing, professional, and fun! We had several guests pictured with the bar tender and servers and everyone was raving about how entertaining and professional the crew was. I could not recommend their services more! Truly was amazing experience and we would not have been able to do all that we did on our wedding day without Rachel and her teams help.

We worked with Paramount for our wedding at sarabande. It was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. To start, the team was AMAZING. Every person we worked with was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. When we had our tasting, not only was it nearly impossible to choose, because everything was amazing, but we had so much fun meeting the team we had been communicating for the months leading up to that. We are both vegetarians and it was important for us to have an all vegetarian wedding. Paramount provided such delicious vegetarian appetizers and meals that all of our non-vegetarian guests raved about how good the food was. When selecting vendors, we were overwhelmed by good options but after eating at Eden (which is the affiliated restaurant), we were sure it was going to be worth the investment. What we did not realize was how attentive the staff would be, how many things were included in our proposal (like cake cutting, plates, silverware etc), and how amazing the staff would be the day of. We had served meals, and each table had their own waitstaff. Our guest mentioned how well timed the food how attentive the waitstaff and bar tenders were all night. They were also so accommodating when it came to our bar menu - we wanted to have a full bar menu with 5 cocktails, plus a full non-alcoholic menu with 4 mocktails. Not only were they fully accommodating to our vision, but did an amazing job. Overall, there was not a single pain point with the Paramount team. Everyone was helpful, kind and a joy to work with. Could not recommend them enough.

If you have food allergies, look no further. I have multiple severe food allergies and my dream for my wedding was to be able to eat any/all food throughout the event. Planning for food was, by far, the most stressful part of wedding planning for me. The Paramount team rose to the challenge with incredible patience and compassion for my situation. We worked mostly with Jennifer, Caroline, and Rachel. They're all so kind and flexible. Paramount's food is delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests on the food. I'll always be grateful for this team that welcomed me and my dietary needs with open arms and kept me safe while providing some of my favorite food I've ever eaten.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Paramount Events for our wedding in Chicago in May 2023. Among the handful of caterers we contacted in advance of our wedding, it was immediately clear that Paramount was the best choice to bring our vision to life. Food was one of our top priorities for our big day, as we wanted to treat our guests to an amazing meal. We wanted to incorporate my family’s Italian heritage so Paramount devised the perfect traditional dinner with a separate pasta course to start! We’ve received so many compliments on the hors d’oeuvres, charcuterie table, and each plated course. They made sure my husband and I were assigned a private server throughout the evening, Carmen, who was amazingly attentive and kind. I’ve heard brides say they didn’t eat at their wedding, but I was so excited to try every bite prepared by Paramount. The hors d’oeuvres were particularly amazing--each one was perfectly portioned, presented artfully, and unbelievably delicious. The salad was so unique and fresh—green and white asparagus sprinkled with spring onion ash which looked like a work of art on a plate. The beef short rib was also a highlight—so tender and delicious! They went above and beyond for us from tasting to day-of to make everything special. They were respectful of our budget and aimed to execute our vision within those parameters. The pricing reflects the amazing quality and service. We also did our rentals through them which was so convenient and fun—they had everything we were looking for! We especially enjoyed working with Rachel, who was responsive and organized. She was always on top of everything! Each person on their team that we interacted with was incredibly professional and kind. Paramount made our wedding day culinary dreams come true!

Paramount is an excellent caterer and we were very glad we chose them for our wedding! We had ~200 guests and we were working with Rachel, who was a pleasure to interact with and incredibly professionally! The tastings were yummy, but more importantly, the day of our guests were truly raving about how delicious everything was (and we were too!). The staff was also very professional & the portions were great size. Lastly, during the whole process leading up to the wedding, we knew we were in great hands due to Rachel.

Rachel and the team at Paramount were incredible in helping us prepare for our wedding. We gave them the theme we were going for, and when we walked in for our tasting, they had sample place settings, cocktails, and seasonal food prepared. They took our feedback and made tweaks to the final versions of dishes to make everything perfect for our big day. We had so many guests come up and tell us that it was the best wedding food they ever had, and we have to agree!

Paramount was recommended to us through our venue. Rachel was amazing from the very first email to our final walk-through. Our food was amazing and everyone at the wedding raved about it!

Hiring Paramount as our wedding caterer was an easy choice. Rachel was so professional and was one of our easiest vendors to work with. She was no-nonsense and clearly detail oriented. She made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process and we knew with her, that things would be taken care of. We had our tasting about one year out from our day, and still talk about what a great experience that was. It really set the tone with Paramount and got us excited for our wedding reception. Their food is fresh, creative, and vibrant. Their food presentation is trendy yet upscale. There were so many options to choose from – each one better than the next. On our wedding day, Rachel and her team were attentive to us and ensured everything about dinner service went off seamlessly. Our guests are still commenting about how delicious everything was! Paramount was the absolute best vendor we worked with for our wedding. Rachel was incredible: super responsive, so knowledgeable, and overall very helpful and put our minds at ease for the entire event. Paramount not only has amazing food (we did stations for our wedding and the Italian and Mexican options that were served were such a hit), but their staff was amazing. My mom couldn’t stop commenting all night, and still comments, that the staff was so attentive and helpful on the wedding day - they made everything run perfectly and smoothly. If we could persuade any couple planning their wedding to select a vendor, Paramount is the one. Great food and wonderful staff, we can’t thank them enough!

My husband and I booked Paramount Events for catering, bar service, and staffing for our wedding. We worked with Rachel, on the Wedding Team, and we booked them immediately after our tasting because the food and service were amazing. I am so thrilled and happy we did because she made the whole process so easy for us before the big day. On the wedding day they provided impeccable service, we received so many compliments about the servers and catering team, and honestly they were awesome! They had big smiles on their faces, they were well trained, looked professional, and were overall just super nice and accommodating to everyone. The food was unbelievable, we were told by so many people that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The beef was tender, chicken was juicy, and the vegetarian dish was hearty and an actual meal! Cocktail hour apps were well done and passed on cute trays. The bartenders were quick and provided excellent service as well. They truly helped make our day so special and memorable. We cannot recommend Rachel and the whole Paramount Team enough! We hope to use them for other big life events in the future because we know they will do a great job!

Paramount Events did the catering for our wedding and we could not have been more thrilled with them. Rachel made all of the logistics and planning for the wedding so easy and straightforward, and she handled all of the details so professionally. The food was incredible across the board and we got so many compliments from our guests! The Paramount team was great to work with and left us feeling confident that our wedding was in capable hands. TPG was amazing to work with for our wedding! We worked with Rachel and Chloe specifically, but any time we worked with anyone on the team (including the owner) they were so nice and easy to work with. The food the day of the wedding was EXCEPTIONAL, our guests kept telling us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We even hosted our wedding shower at Eden and it was amazing! Our guests also all raved about the service! Their staff is impeccable!!! Thank you to everyone at Paramount and Eden, especially Rachel who was with us during the entire process. Rachel was professional, knowledgeable, but most importantly SO patient with us during the entire process. She was so easy to work with and flexible and accommodating. I cannot thank the entire team enough for making our wedding so memorable and for making us and all of our guests feel like royalty.

The venue was everything we wanted and it was made event better that the staff was so helpful and worked above and beyond to make us feel comfortable on the day. They even made us a plate of Hors D’oeuvres to make sure we were eating. We had so many compliments on the venue and food! The food was too delicious. Every course hit the spot!

Paramount Events is amazing! Where do I even begin?!.. This was the first vendor I knew we needed for our wedding day. Rachel's quick responses and incredible proposal won me over instantly. We were hoping to offer a variety of food options throughout the night, and no other caterer could compare. Over the months of planning, Paramount Events was extremely open-minded to new requests (thank you Rachel), continued to outdo themselves with the creatively of the menu, and went above and beyond on the wedding day itself. I am still having guests call me about how delicious our food was!

Rarely does a Bride and Groom hear that their food at their wedding was "SO GOOD!" Cooking and serving 150 people is not easy, but Paramount Group executed to our standard levels. We eat out frequently, travel often and have high expectations of service. Paramount Group was the only caterer that we needed to have a tasting with. My guests raved about the food and the homemade olive bread is something that I will crave for years to come. Susannah and her team were actually happy to be working and enjoyed serving our guests until 2am! I was told by my guests that they did not have to wait for drinks and that they had two plates of food. Complete success.

Susannah and her team helped make our recent wedding reception absolutely perfect. We received nothing but rave reviews from our guests on the food and place settings! My husband has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy and they were so accommodating with that as well!! Thank you so much Paramount!!

Rachel and her team at Paramount were so wonderful to work with! Rachel was extremely responsive and knew every answer to every one off question I asked her. After our tasting we were even more excited for the wedding because we knew the food would be absolutely amazing! We ended up doing a few different food stations and each one was better than the last. All of our guests commented on how great every piece of food was and wished they could take some home with them. The staff at the event was so wonderful to work with and truly made our wedding an unforgettable event!

Paramount helped make our big day so special! We had such delicious appetizers and entrees. They made sure that we had a personal server that was always checking in on us during all the craziness. The late night snacks that they served at our wedding (Chicago hot dogs and tacos) were also a huge hit! Susannah was amazing at coordinating everything, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all that they did to set up and provide our guests with an unforgettable night!

Rachel was so easy to work with through the entire process and helped walk me through all our options. The tasting was amazing and we were so excited for the big day after that. I am so excited to write a positively glowing review for Paramount Events and the Catering Services they provided for our wedding Labor Day weekend of this year. First, I have to say that we chose all of our vendors based largely off reviews - and I am happy to add to future customers that might do the same. It is such a long, strenuous process to choose your wedding vendors, and it is ultimately worth it when you choose the right ones. As is being realized, you no longer necessarily need a "wedding planner" when you can find a company like Paramount to coordinate your event as your caterer. When they work in conjunction with your venue so seamlessly, you have all the coordination you need and more. Specifically, we worked with Emily Yao at Paramount for our recent wedding at the Newberry Library. She basically took on the role of planning in terms of the endless questions she responded to and issues she helped us with leading up to our big day. I make it sound simple, but when you are brand new to planning and looking for help over the months leading up to your wedding, you will be so grateful to work with such a qualified company. We realized early on that any surcharge you might consider with Paramount is coming from the insane quality of service you are about to receive. Emily and her team quite simply made our wedding perfect. As a Type A planner myself, I worried about placement of items on tables, the dishware we were using, and so much more; but needless to say I put my trust in their hands and I was so greatly rewarded. We had a complicated turnover from cocktail hour and specifics for seating arrangements and gifts for guests... not only did Emily never second guess anything, she responded with assurance that she could complete it all with ease. And she DID! Most importantly, we walked into our wedding promising ourselves that food and service were the most important parts of our day. We love enjoying a wonderful dinner and drinks as well as good service; and that is sometimes the last thing you think you will receive at a wedding. Not only have we already received endless praise from our guests for the quality of food, but the "army of servers" that came out to serve the meals left me feeling so overjoyed with everything I envisioned in terms of quality of service at my wedding. Emily was there every step of the way to assure us that everything would be perfect, I never worried and it was worth every dollar we spent. Endless thanks to Paramount, Emily and her team the day of our wedding! I can only hope I find a reason to cater another event and use Emily and Paramount again. We used Paramount to cater for 200 people at the Chicago History Museum. Rachel Heuermann led the efforts from Paramount and was very easy to work with. We chose Paramount because we felt that the food really stood up to the 'restaurant quality' reputation that Paramount has. They did not disappoint upon serving 200 people on the day of our wedding. Multiple people commented on the appetizers and dinner - both about the quality of food and the quality/speed of service. We've attended multiple weddings over the past few years ourselves, and Paramount was by far the best caterer.

My husband and I are so grateful for the incredible service and delicious food created by Paramount's team. Planning a wedding without a wedding planner is a monumental task that we underestimated, but working with Emily was an absolute dream; she really saved us after an another caterer fell through. She went above and beyond with providing recommendations on a variety of topics including creating the table layout. Emily is a great communicator and very detailed, and we felt confident that we were in good hands throughout the entire process. We purchased alcohol from Binny's and the Paramount bartenders did an incredible job of quickly chilling the wine and beer, as well as mixing our signature cocktail. Every aspect of the service was top notch. The most difficult part was narrowing down the food choices. Their selection of hor d'oeurves and entree's are all, as Gordon Ramsay says, showstoppers! All of our guests raved about the food, and Paramount did an incredible job of accommodating guests who had allergies or were gluten-free. We would strongly recommend Paramount for any event and are so thankful for Emily.

Paramount did our catering for our recent wedding in Chicago. Our guests haven't stopped raving about the food. It was extremely delicious and so beautiful. The portions were large, the ingredients were fresh and kept our guests fueled for a night of dancing and celebration. The servers were all very gracious and attentive to everyone's needs. We had a personal attendant who took great care of us so we were well fed throughout the evening. The late night snacks were a huge hit! Guests loved the mini Chicago dogs the best. It was the perfect little snack at the end of the night. Emily was very accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She listened to all my questions and concerned and had a solution for everything. She worked very well with the other people in charge of the venue and the entire night went by smoothly. I cannot recommend them enough for their professionalism and passion for food.

Just Say ‘YES’ to The Lakewood/ Paramount Events Overall, my husband and I would HIGHLY recommend The Lakewood as a wedding venue and Paramount Events for catering. We are still talking about our wedding day. Our guests are still telling us about our wedding day! Not only was The Lakewood the perfect venue for our wedding but everyone was so easy to work with in helping vision come to life. Which was crazy because we planned our big day in only 3 weeks. Yes, you read that correctly… we had 3 weeks to re-plan our wedding because of the hurricanes that swept the Caribbean. When we saw the news of the hurricane hitting St. Thomas we knew our destination nuptials could be in trouble. The first hurricane hit on a Wednesday, that Thursday I was calling a bunch of venues explaining our story. Friday that same week, we met with Emily Yao, toured the space (we only cried a little), and had a new venue! Soon after that, everything seemed to magically fall into place thanks to Emily, Paramount Events and our new and beautiful venue The Lakewood. Emily and her team made our wedding day not only happen but helped us with special menu items and came up with a “in the round” type ceremony, worked with our vision of two long tables for reception, and helped with keeping that intimate wedding (75 guests) we had been planning for over a year. We can only imagine what would have happened if we had a whole year to work with Emily and her team. We are forever thankful to them and would highly recommend the venue for a wedding! The Venue: With a space to get ready for both sides of the bridal party, amble space for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception this blank white canvas is truly the perfect place for any bride/groom looking to create a unique vibe and fun atmosphere for their guests. The Lakewood is mold-able for any event you are hosting. For us, we wanted to keep things indoors but have that outdoor feel so we added lots of greenery to help the space come to life! The Food: The food is AMAZING. Since we had less than 3 weeks to plan, we just had to trust the items we were choosing would be tasty and boy were they good - from the appetizers to our main courses to the late night Chicago style hot dogs! One of the happiest moments though was seeing our cake. We hadn’t put much thought into it but sent Emily an inspiration photo and… we must say… the cake was truly inspired and our cake topper looked perfect on top of that cake.

Paramount Events is beyond amazing. I had always heard that the food at your wedding reception will never be as good as your tasting, but Paramount delivered on quality! Everything from the food to the service was top notch, and we received SO many compliments on how delicious everything was. Our coordinator, Rachel, was lovely to work with and made everything flow smoothly down to the very last detail. I highly recommend Paramount!

Now that our wedding has passed my husband and I have had a chance to reflect on our big day and all of the people who played such an important roll. It was in this moment of reflection that we were able to gain a true appreciation for the entire Paramount Events staff and all of the time and energy they put into making our wedding so special. The staff displays a level of professionalism and attention to detail which we found from no other vendor in the Chicagoland area. Prior to our wedding Paramount assisted us with possible venues selections, creating a menu to meet our needs and entertainment options as well. At the wedding reception the entire Paramount staff was more than helpful and ensured that all of our needs were met. They made the entire experience run as smoothly as possible which allowed us to truly enjoy the wedding since we knew we were in such good hands. We would like to especially thank Paramount Sales Manager, Emily Yoa, for her tireless work and dedication to helping our day turn out as perfectly as possible. Paramount was the caterer at our wedding, and they delivered an amazing, delicious event! From our sales coordinator Dylan to all of the servers and bartenders we couldn't be happier with how the event went. Dylan was extremely detail oriented and responsive to my (many) emails and questions. The food was delicious! We did passed appetizers, desserts, and a late night food station. Our guests raved about the mac n cheese grilled cheese sandwiches and pretzels with cheese. Highly recommend Paramount for your wedding (or any) celebration!

Food was an incredibly important part of our day. We wanted something that felt intentional, inclusive and comforting. We are firm believers that the best things in life happen over a dinner table with family and friends - so we wanted our wedding meal to fully embody this idea. Paramount created the most stunning and delicious family-style meal for our winter wedding in Chicago. We got to know our team and they took even the most simple stories we shared with them and turned them into the most amazing meal of our lives. People have still not stopped talking about the food - from appetizers to dessert. Paramount created an incredible experience that absolutely embodied everything we were looking fro. Their dedication to sustainability, commitment to taking care of their team, attention to detail, and true gift for curating an exceptional gastronomic experience is unmatched, not just in Chicago, but nationally. Not only that - but they are incredible to work with! They indulged our every whim, creating a seamless experience for our guests. I could not recommend them more highly!

I don't even know where to begin. The entire team at Paramount Events was absolutely fantastic to work with. Their food is incredible, but what really made a difference was their customized service. From start-to-finish, Nikki and Emily made wedding planning a breeze and offered assistance in helping me book a venue, DJ, florist, and videographer. I highly recommend the Paramount Events Team and will definitely be using their services again in the near future. A+!

Food was a really important part of our wedding reception, so my now-husband and I were on the hunt for the perfect caterer. I'm from the Gulf Coast, originally, and weddings down there are typically stations with heavy hors d'oeuvres rather than plated meals, so I was looking to do different stations and allow our guests to serve themselves. Our plan was a Southern station, an Asian station (my husband's half Chinese), and a Tapas station (our first date was at a Tapas restaurant and we've traveled to Spain together). We contacted three different caterers, and Paramount was our first tasting. They set the bar incredibly high. From the start, Caroline was so easy to work with and knew exactly what we were looking to do. They had a great selection of menu items for each of the themes we wanted - it was hard to narrow down! Leading up to our reception, Caroline and Janie were super helpful and the walkthrough the venue with them really put my mind at ease (I knew they were going to do an awesome job setting everything up). Fast forward to the night of our reception - the hors d'oeuvres were amazing, and every bit as delicious as we remembered. My husband and I had a dedicated server for the evening and she was wonderful - attentive without hovering. People were so excited about dinner. I saw multiple people with a plate from each station and everyone raved about the food. I've been to a lot of weddings in the past couple of years. Mostly the food is ok, but not memorable. Throughout our reception and even after, people have commented on how good the food was and how they had a hard time picking a favorite station or menu item. Our goal was memorable, tasty food that would sort of reflect a little bit of us as a couple. Paramount delivered. I cannot say enough good things!
