Jennifer Hahn became part of the Paramount team in 2010. She learned of her passion for event planning when she organized a fundraising event to help her and NIU classmates travel to Guatemala to build a school. Jennifer loves helping couples see their unique wedding day come to life! In her spare time, she works on her 150+ year old farmhouse with her husband and 2 daughters, loves reading fiction, trying her green thumb at gardening, and crocheting mostly scarfs and hats! We could not have picked a more perfect place for us to get married! Jennifer was very responsive from the early stages of messaging on The Knot. We set up a venue tour and the rest was history. We knew the Paramount Meyer Ballroom was our choice mid tour and put a date on hold before we walked out the door! We left with such a good feeling in our hearts. They have so many great options that are included in the price (amazing bar package, beautiful venue space, 2 table cloth options, comfortable chairs, beautiful centerpieces, a view that’s hard to beat and so much more) and then many upgrades that are more than fairly priced! We worked closely with Emile-Margaret throughout the entire process (but everyone we worked with was phenomenal!) and we asked if she could be our day of coordinator for our special day (spoil alert, she said yes 🤗). Emile-Margaret was available for every question we had and was very thorough during the entire planning process. She worked around our scheduling conflicts for our 3/6/9 month consultations and kept us on track with our decisions! I loved that the Meyer Ballroom offered venue viewings for all couples that have already signed with them. This really helped with making our vision come to life and testing out different decor options without being rushed and making rash decisions. It was the most magical day and that’s all thanks to Emile-Margaret and the entire staff at the Paramount Meyer Ballroom. If you’re looking for a venue that has your best interest at heart and really cares for you as a couple then the Paramount Meyer ballroom is the place for you! We highly recommend the Paramount's Meyer Ballroom for any event! We held our wedding there in April 2024. The venue is absolutely immaculate and offers a beautiful setting for a wedding. The Fox River makes a lovely backdrop and the lights of the Paramount's marquee adds a sparkly accent. But the service that the staff provided is absolutely the star of the show. At every step of the process they were responsive, friendly, helpful and accommodating to our special requests. The price is right, too - a very affordable venue with lots of complimentary add ons, such as the centerpieces, which saved us money. And the icing on the cake is the free theater ticket for each guest which we used as the wedding favor. The complimentary valet service made it easy for our guests to attend. Also, because there is a smoking patio outside the ballroom, we were able to offer our guests a Cigar Bar, which was a unique touch. We chose a round head table for a smaller wedding party because we wanted to be able to talk to everyone, and it worked great! 5 stars for sure, we hope everyone considers this venue!! -The Rileys

After attending amazing shows at the Paramount for years and being season subscribers, I was thrilled to learn they hosted weddings. The Paramount always puts on an amazing show and our wedding was no different! I was so impressed with all of the details they helped us bring together to craft the wedding of our dreams. It was a magical experience from beginning to end. They have a handful for preferred vendors you need to chose from for catering and entertainment, but honestly I found this made the vendor selection much less intimidating. The vendors are in a range of price points and our wedding coordinator at the Paramount walked us through that information. We met with the Paramount wedding coordinator periodically throughout the planning process. Those meetings helped us remain on track with the planning and reminded us of small details we may have forgotten. Planning can be stressful, but Emile-Margaret and everyone at the Paramount were so amazing. I highly recommend them.

Our wedding at Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom was a wonderful experience! The venue is absolutely stunning! The atrium provided a beautiful setting for our wedding ceremony and for photos during the evening. The reception space was exactly what we were looking for, with the hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows with views of the Fox River and Paramount Theater. Our coordinator Emile did an AMAZING job and made sure everything ran smoothly. She had such a calm demeanor and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. All of the staff that worked during our wedding were wonderful! Our experience with the Paramount Meyer Ballroom exceeded our expectations. We could not imagine a more perfect wedding day! The Team definitely did an amazing job throughout the whole wedding planning process! Their responses were so prompt. The venue itself was beautiful. The transitions throughout the day were seamless as well because of how the venue is. And our Day of Coordinator, Emile-Margaret, she was literally perfect to work with. Cannot say enough positive things about this venue for our wedding! First the natural light made all photos gorgeous, not to mention the riverfront and balcony access for guests. Communication was prompt, clear, and quick. They let me visit countless times and assisted in decor, offering suggestions and helping me put my vision together. The vendors they have connections with were amazing to work with and produced quality service. Our guests complimented the space and it felt intimate even with 100 people there. Shoutout to Sam for being an amazing coordinator and helping out behind the scenes way more than I even realize!

The Paramount Ballroom was a perfect place for our wedding. When covid hit and we had to cancel unexpectedly, they were very fair in giving us a full refund. We rescheduled our wedding for 2023 and had the best experience. Our coordinator was efficient and prompt and everything was just the way we planned. Just had my daughters wedding there in June of 2023. From pre-planning planning to their beautiful day, everything was amazing, from the venue, staff, music and food, it was a perfect day. Our coordinator Sam did an amazing job with keeping everything in check and on track. She was professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. She made our bride and guests feel at home. The venue is a perfect spot to celebrate a wedding, host a meeting, luncheon, celebrate a birthday or anniversary. They have everything you need for a great event. What a grwat place. Absolutely the best bang for your dollar without having to compromise on beauty of the venue! We looked at a lot of venues in the chicagoland area and nobody came close to what Paramount could offer. They made the whole process super easy-even for me who had no idea what I wanted. The venue is gorgeous, the staff super communicative and accommodating. Our day of coordinator Emile-Margaret even came out with water bottles while we were taking photos at the venue before the reception. I’d highly recommend.

If you're looking for a sign to book here, do it! The Paramount was so wonderful through the entire process of our wedding. Affordable, flexible, all of the right things built in to make the process easy while also allowing flexibility for your day. If you are lucky enough to get Sam Haywood as your consultant consider yourself lucky, even during her own maternity leave she was always on top of it and every little question I had was answered in such a helpful way. When we were helped out during her leave by other consultants they were JUST as wonderful and helpful. Truly, all our guests were gushing about how beautiful the venue was (we were in the Meyer Ballroom). My mom who has planned two other weddings for my older sisters and been in a lot of wedding planning meetings and venue visits immediately said it was the easiest and best venue tour she'd ever had in her life right after we met. We booked like...the next day. Add a little magic of the theatre to your big day!

Our wedding was this year in March. Due to Covid we had to postpone twice. The staff at Meyer Ballroom were awesome with accommodating us during these difficult times. When our day came, my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The venue handled communicating with all of our vendors and made sure that everything was in place. Everything was beautiful. I have no complaints. The venue is beautiful and all our guests loved it. Our Coordinator Breanne was very pleasant and polite and always smiling. I would recommend this beautiful venue to everyone I know. Now my family friend Arnita Perdue is an event coordinator. Choosing to get married at the Meyer Ballroom was a no-brainer! The Atrium is the perfect location for a ceremony, and with the edison-bulb and dangling lights, it made for beautiful pictures. The Meyer Ballroom overlooks the river and the Paramount Theatre, which makes for a beautiful back drop. I also love that they let you choose from a list of caterers; we went with stations from Reuland and still get compliments on the food. The staff at the Meyer Ballroom is 10/10. They all made the process so smooth, from the months leading up through the day of, each person I worked with was a joy. I can't recommend them enough!

We were able to get married in the Atrium and then have our reception in the next room over, in the Meyer Ballrooms overlooking the Fox River! The amazing views were the perfect setting for us! I fell in love with this venue even before I was engaged. The views from the reception hall are gorgeous and we had so many guests tell us how much they loved it! Sam was our day of coordinator and she did such an amazing job and was so helpful to me on what ended up being a much more stressful wedding day than I had anticipated. Everyone we worked with in the wedding planning process was great! It all fell together so well and everything was beautiful! I highly recommend Meyer Ballroom!

It is almost hard to put in words how amazing our wedding at the Paramount's Meyer Ballroom was! Breanne was the most incredibly wedding coordinator, working tirelessly before, during, and after our wedding to make our day special. She coordinated everything with our outside vendors to make the day go smooth and answered all calls/Zoom meetings with professional appeal. We were able to host our rescheduled wedding date with no extra issues and it was so convenient to have ceremony & reception on site! Our guests raved about the venue's beauty and the awesome staff that helped take care of us. We loved having the valet parking for our guests and the amazing views of downtown Aurora. When my husband and I first started planning our wedding in 2018 for a 2020 date, we never could have anticipated that we’d be faced with a worldwide pandemic, causing us to wind up changing our wedding date several times. This was an unbelievably stressful situation, but we couldn’t have been luckier to have the wonderful team at Paramount by our side the entire time. Specifically, our event coordinator, Breanne. Sometimes, we would go months without any new updates regarding when we’d be able officially have our wedding, but Breanne was constantly there for us whenever we needed her to answer any questions we may have had. When it finally came time for us to have our wedding, it was better than we could have possibly imagined. Breanne, and all of the other hardworking people at Paramount, truly went above and beyond to make our day as magical as possible, And let’s not forget to mention just how beautiful the space is. The Grand Gallery is so beautiful on its own, that having your wedding there should be a no-brainer. We just received our photos from our wedding, and needless to say, we definitely went with the right venue. Paramount and Breanne were just so incredible to work with, and if you choose to plan your wedding with them, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Meyer Ballroom is beautiful and the only place to celebrate any event! We had our reception there and it was fantastic! And the bridal suite was just amazing! The centerpieces were pretty lanterns provided by Meyer so I didn't have to waste time or money on 15-20 floral arrangements. The riverfront is a gorgeous area for pictures and the new atrium is just fantastic! But the best part of Meyer is the staff! We had to reschedule due to Covid and every step of the way Breanne and Brianna were there to help make the transition as smooth as possible. No extra stress or worrying! Day of staff were friendly and polite and ensured we had the best night of our lives!

We had the most wonderful experience we've ever had at the Meyer Ballroom. In the heart of downtown Aurora, It was the perfect location for us to have our wedding. The view that comes with it is just beyond words can't explain. It's also perfect for romantic photos. We were very lucky to have Sam Gaul as our wedding coordinator. She was very kind to us and the whole family and so patient when it came to rehearsal and the day of the event. Definitely took all the stress away. They give you all the information you need to book everything and to hire anyone to make your special day perfect. From a photographers, to flowers , to wedding dresses all of the above I highly recommend any couples looking for a venue to make sure you book at the Meyer Ballroom. You and your guest will love every second of it.

Our wedding with Meyer Ballroom was absolutely amazing. Breanne and Briana were so gracious and helpful in calming this bride down when needed. The venue is beautiful and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Do yourself a favor..pick them for your wedding!

The Meyer Ballroom is the perfect setting for a wedding. It is located next to the river in the heart of downtown Aurora and we could not have asked for a better venue. Breanne and her staff were professional and had everything under control. Without a doubt, I would recommend the Meyer Ballroom to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Meyer Ballroom was the first and only place we looked at for our wedding ceremony and reception. We are SO glad we did. Kelsey, Breanne and Sam were the most amazing women to work with! While Kelsey started with us she soon was promoted to a new position and Breanne took over and she didn't miss a beat. She knew all our details and what we wanted and was an excellent communicator. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is everything I could've ever wanted. If you are looking for a place to have both ceremony and reception then look no further. If I could do it over again I would choose Meyer Ballroom every time. It does not disappoint and the photos from the downtown Aurora area are exquisite. Highly highly recommend!!

We were married here on 2/22/2020. This was a wonderful venue - beautiful for a winter wedding. The staff was very friendly and Breanne, our coordinator, was extremely helpful with the planning details and on the day of. It's a beautiful space - especially the reception room, which overlooks Paramount Theater and the Aurora river. It's stunning at night and we got a ton of compliments on the unique space. We were also given details that helped with planning, including a list of vendors you can reach out that tend to offers discounts for working with Meyer's Ballroom. My only advice would be to be clear about the parking on your invites and wedding website - tell guests to arrive early. Overall though, such a great venue. It's lovely on it's own, but can also be dressed up wonderfully with personal touches.

Our fall wedding at the paramount theater meyer ballroom was absolutely perfect in every way. From the moment we walked through the door my now husband and I felt this was exactly what we’ve been looking for. The ability to have our ceremony on site location of the venue was just a perk :-) Our wedding yes were very complementary and how elegant both the ceremony and reception were as well as the amazing scenery next to the Fox River. The Paramount staff went above and beyond in every aspect of both the ceremony and the reception from start to finish they made planning our wedding an absolute cakewalk. We are so pleased and so appreciative of all that they have done for my husband and I. We highly recommend the Paramount theater for your wedding event. We absolutely loved the Paramount and everyone we worked with from our first visit. Due to personal unforeseen circumstances, we weren’t able to have our wedding here, but I can’t recommend them enough. They took great care of my fiancé and I and payed attention to every detail. If there is any wedding situation, they know the solution. Breanne helped us out so much! They are absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend them! Thank you for everything!

This is a beautiful venue for both ceremony and reception! Especially the atrium after the remodel, it is simply gorgeous. Not only did the venue and location work great for us, but the staff really is what got us to choose the Meyer Ballroom as our venue. From our first interaction at a wedding expo to the first and second visits, throughout the whole process of getting to our big day everyone has been spectacular and quick to respond to emails, specifically Kelsey and Breanne. Breanne was our coordinator for the day (which is a huge plus since you don't get that everywhere). She is so kind and accommodating and always checking in and helping making sure everything is running smoothly. She made the day feel effortless. We truly recommend this to anyone looking for the place to say, "I do!"

From the first email through the wedding day Paramount provided the best customer service I've ever experienced. We worked with Kelsey and she was amazing. No matter what problem I had, late rsvp changes or forgetting to plan a vendor dinner table, she had a solution. She was there for us again on the big day making sure everything went smoothly and helping us with set it. She helped make it so I could actually relax and enjoy my day. The beautiful, recently renovated, atrium was the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and the view of the fox river from the ballroom was breathtaking. To top it all off they have a large bridal suite equipped with it's own private bathroom so I didn't have to worry about someone seeing me before it was time. I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. When you book with Paramount, you're not just booking you're venue, they are so much more!

We were married here on 10/12/19 and I honestly can say that the Meyer Ballroom had everything we were looking for and more. I cannot rave enough about our amazing coordinator, Kelsey, who made our entire day truly magical. The venue is extremely accessible , which was a key component when we were venue searching, we were able to have the cocktail located in one area and then we chose to do a room flip after the ceremony. We LOVED the ease of everything the Paramount offered from the Bridal Suite, Groomsmen Room, Valet Parking, and all on one level. I truly cannot emphasize enough how exceptional Kelsey was. Kelsey answered ENDLESS e-mails from me for MONTHS, and then daily the week of the wedding, and she was working with multiple sets of parents-which she did flawlessly. We are beyond overjoyed to have had such a perfect day/night at the Paramount's Meyer Ballroom. We were so thrilled, we actually bought a seat at the Paramount to mark our wedding date, and as a tribute and thank you for the exceptional experience we had.

We just got married at Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom on October 26, 2019. Everything was so perfect and exactly what we wanted. They have multiple options to choose where you want your ceremony to be. We chose the staircase of the atrium and it looked so beautiful. They also provide a list of preferred vendors which helps with the craziness of choosing between places! Breanne was our day of coordinator and it was extremely helpful to have her around (and deliver champagne to the bridal suite every 5 minutes)! She made sure everything went smoothly from set up to take down. Overall, Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom is nothing less than amazing. We had so many compliments all night about the beautiful venue and friendly staff. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

From our first visit to our wedding day the event coordinator staff (especially Kelsey) were phenomenal. They did everything they could to help us in every step throughout the planning process and make our day special. Kelsey’s professionalism, ability to work with us to stay in our budget, easy and prompt communication, and vendor and picture location recommendations were just a few reasons why the Meyer Ballroom was perfect for us. The valet and ticket vouchers were perfect added touches to make our planning easier. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe most of that to Kelsey and the Meyer Ballroom.

We got married here on 7-27-19. We loved the venue- when we went to visit for the first time, and stepped into the Meyer Ballroom, it just felt right. All of our interactions with the staff and the venue just confirmed that it was the perfect place for us. We did use some of the venue's preferred vendors (Simply Music DJ and Lighting and Cuisine America catering). The view out of the windows at the river was amazing. One of my IL guests remarked, "I haven't really been to Aurora, but I think I'll have to come back and visit." I think the Meyer Ballroom really showcases the best and most beautiful part of downtown Aurora. Jordan was our event coordinator, and she was amazing. She was very sweet and friendly and stayed in contact before, during, and even after the wedding! I accidentally left my EpiPen under the table at the venue at the end of the night, and she offered to bring it to me that night! I didn't take her up on it, but obviously, that's above and beyond service! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or other event. My wedding was a perfect dream here! I couldn't have imagined it any better!

Working with the Paramount for our ceremony and reception was incredible. They helped us keep track of everything and made planning a breeze. They provide a coordinator to assist in the planning process- Kelsey was amazing! She helped answer every question we had, sent friendly reminders, and was there the entire day to help with each and every detail- pinning corsages, making sure our guests were comfortable, keeping us hydrated, everything. She always asked us our thoughts and preferences on how we pictured our wedding, and went above and beyond in all ways possible. We can't thank her enough! The venue itself is beautifully maintained and has been recently renovated, has an awesome and fresh "bridal" suite with private bathroom, along with a separate room for the other bride/groom, and plenty of space for guests to move around, both in and outdoors. The river walk creates a great atmosphere, and the windows let in so much natural light. Tons of photo ops to boot! We could not recommend this venue more! Thank you to everyone at Paramount for making our day simply perfect!

In the midst of a season full of stress, working with the Paramount Theater/Meyer Ballroom team was bliss, and I truly mean that. I'm so grateful that we chose our venue first, because the Meyer Ballroom team was such a help with the rest of our wedding planning, and they handled so many of the details for us. From the very first venue visit to the follow-up emails after our event, I knew I could trust this venue with my wedding vision, my guests, and my budget. Kind, honest, thorough, and prompt communication from all staff members. Expert help from professional event coordinators. Wonderfully thoughtful extra touches (ask about the favors they provide for each of your wedding guests!). And absolutely gorgeous surroundings. We had an absolute blast at our Meyer Ballroom wedding.

My husband and I just recently got married here about a week and a half ago and I couldn't be more pleased with everything! My coordinator, Briana, was so helpful and responded quickly to all of my questions. The venue itself is already beautiful so we only had to decorate a little bit. They recently just remodeled everything and it is amazing. I couldn't have chosen a better place to have the best day of my life. A big thank you to the staff that made my special day possible!

WOW! We have had so many compliments on our venue. We wanted a non-traditional venue, and we got it! We were at the Grand Gallery, which is the lobby to the actual theater, not the Meyer Ballroom. The staff was amazing to work with from start to finish. I truly felt like every person that works there wanted us to have the best wedding possible. If you're planning a wedding, be sure you check out the Grand Gallery. You might have to be flexible with your dates because of their theater shows, but you will NOT regret it!

I CANNOT Express how amazing the staff was at Paramount's!! I have not idea how i even stumbled on them but this venue is a hidden gem in Aurora. the venue is STUNNING and can easily be transformed to match whatever your dream vision is. I worked with Jordan and Kelsey and they were amazing! Jordan was my day of coordinator and she was easy to get a hold of, accommodating, extremely friendly and oh so helpful. She was a Brides absolute dream. When our original church dropped us 60days before the wedding Jordan helped me find a replacement officiant even though we weren't having our ceremony and her venue! She listened to my vision and supported every piece of decor I wanted. Our family and friends are STILL raving about how amazing cocktail hour and our reception where here! And, as if it could get any better, the cost is RIGHT! Me and my husband booked the same day we visited, but the staff is not pushy at all and encourage you to take time to.think about it and allow you to come back and walk the space as many times as you need to before your big day. 20/10 would reccomend this location. We're probably going to be hosting other events here just so we can return. Thank you so much Paramount's Meyer Ballroom!!

This venue was absolutely amazing for our wedding! We were able to have our ceremony in the Copley Theater which was the perfect place for us and our Movie Night theme. Kelsey, as our coordinator, was AWESOME! She was on top of everything from the vendors, to the staff, to our families and the bridal party. Meyer Ballroom was the perfect place for us to have our wedding and it exceeded all of our expectations!

When we were looking at wedding venues my heart ached to get married at the Meyer ballroom in the evening. We were not quite sure how we were gonna do it but we took the plunge! And I must say it was one of the greatest decisions we have made. The staff at the Paramount events made wedding planning a breeze and answered all my questions without any hesitation. They're amazing list of vendors were so helpful. The venue is so beautiful that we didn't feel like we needed to over decorate. Downtown Aurora gave us the slight feel of a Chicago wedding without all the craziness. We couldn't have picked a better place to say I do. We are so glad that we chose the Meyer Ballroom for our wedding ceremony and reception. From day 1, they were willing to work with us to make sure we they met our needs. Also, they gave all of our guests a ticket to see one of the shows at the Paramount Theater as a favor. Compared to other venues we looked at, we felt that the Meyer Ballroom was the best value. They offered a few bar packages to choose from and also let you choose your own caterer. We also loved the location. Being in downtown Aurora on the river walk, there were a lot of different spots within walking distance that we were able to use for our wedding photos. We also loved the the Meyer Ballroom had so many windows with a nice view of the river. I'd highly recommend this venue for your wedding or special event.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Paramount's Grand Gallery and it was GRAND. Kelsey was our event coordinator and she was awesome to work with. My husband and I planned most of the wedding as our bridal party was out of town and had a lot of last minute things to take care of. Kelsey was an angel in disguise as she helped us handle all the last minute things. Kelsey was very accommodating of what we wanted and suggested a few things we could do differently. We gave her the USB for our pictures to display at the day of rehearsal which was very last minute and she made it happen. As a bride I was not sure about a lot of the details like if I have enough breath mints or to-go cake boxes and Kelsey ensured I had just the right amount. Our guests were in awe of the venue. The custom marquee sign and red carpet added extra bling and made both us and our guests feel like celebrities. We LOVED the dance floor setting and the entire setup. The staff was very attentive to all the guests and ensured all the glasses were filled and the guests were taken care of. Both the guests and the bride and groom had a wonderful experience. Thank you Paramount for not only making our dream wedding come true, but also making it a PERFECT day!

From beginning to end, my experience with the Paramount was perfect. My wedding exceeded even my own expectations. Jordan, my coordinator, made everything possible. I have honestly never worked with anyone so responsive, accommodating, and helpful. There were honestly no problems; not one. Jordan and her colleagues also have professional relationships with other popular vendors (caterers, DJs, etc.) in the area, so the people I chose were already familiar with the venue, and they handled all the logistics from beginning to end. All I had to do was show up with my decorations and ideas. Everything in your contract is exactly what you pay; there are no surprises, and the price is incredible. I cannot stress enough how perfect everything was. As stressful as wedding planning can be (you run into questions and requests you don't anticipate on your end), Jordan didn't even have to bat an eye before offering a perfect solution. The wedding itself was gorgeous. We had our ceremony on the Copley Theatre stage inside the North Island Center, and our reception was in the Meyer Ballroom, with cocktail hour was in the Atrium. My guests repeatedly thanked me for the ease of having everything in one building. Parking was included with valet for all guests, and the venue gave all our guests a free ticket to one of the Paramount's Broadway series shows. This was a huge hit with my guests, and it sort of prolonged the celebration, as several of my family and friends are now planning a trip to see a show together! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue, and especially Jordan. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our big day an event that could have absolutely not been close to matched anywhere else.

The staff made this the easiest and best process for planning and executing a wedding! Our coordinator Jordan made sure we had everything and anything we needed! Planning a wedding from 2 hours away could have been very stressful, but the efficiency of this venue made it a breeze. We had the most beautiful and wonderful wedding. We will be recommending this venue to our friends and family in the future! The ballroom held all of our friends and family in attendance and made for the perfect spot to converse, eat, drink and dance!

My husband and I recently got married at the Meyer Ballroom and it was an absolute dream! The entire staff worked with us respectfully and in a timely manner, which made the entire planning process so much less stressful. We were even able to find other vendors through Meyer—who can beat that!? Special shout out to Jordan who truly made our wedding perfect, from quick emails to asking all of the right questions.
