We couldn't have been happier with our event at the Park Hyatt and couldn't recommend it more. We reserved an intimate space called The Crooked Hearth for our reception which held 80 guests. Our cocktail hour took place outside on the patio overlooking the mountain and the reception following took place inside. Our guests raved about how spectacular the setting was and how beautifully everything came together. The food, drinks and cake were outstanding and were all provided by the Hyatt. The staff was incredible on the day of the event. Jackie, the wedding coordinator, was very helpful leading up to the event. She was knowledgable, friendly and very detail oriented to make the day perfect. Rick assisted with our menu tasting and was also wonderful.
The Hyatt made our wedding unforgettable! Their coordinators did a wonderful job helping us plan and keep the day of running smoothly. The food and service were excellent and the setting was absolutely beautiful!
To all the future brides out there considering a CO mountain wedding: My husband and I were married at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek June 2022, and it was the most magical day and weekend EVER.
Amy Lilyquist (POC for securing the venue and throughout the wedding process) was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. She was responsive, attentive, and direct with her communication to not only my husband and I, but more importantly, our wedding planner. To be honest, she deserves her own review, because she was so great to work with.
The Park Hyatt exceeded our expectations across the board. The venue was incredible, the chef(s) on site were outstanding. Not only did they prepare the three course plated dinner for 150+ guests, they also prepared our wedding cake and customized cake balls for the grooms "cake." Additionally, the rest of the staff, including servers & bartenders, knocked it out of the park.
I was told many times going into the process that finding a venue would be stressful but that was not our experience. We toured the Park Hyatt BC and didn't look or reach out to another venue after that visit. Thank you to everyone at the Park Hyatt BC who made our experience as incredible as it was! We wish we could do it all over again. You truly are the best.
We could not have asked for a better venue to host our wedding reception! Everything about the Park Hyatt was just perfect, and everyone we worked with was so kind, responsive, and professional. They treated us so well and left us completely worry free on the wedding day. We could not recommend them enough!
My husband and I had to move our wedding venue from North Lake Tahoe just 10 days before our event due to wild fires. The Park Hyatt BC welcomed our event with open arms under very short notice and other stressful circumstances. There were some supply chain concerns, space concerns, room block concerns that were all navigated by Amy, her team and my family to result in an amazing event. My husband and I are so grateful to Park Hyatt BC for going out of their way to host our wedding. Our previous resort required I use a wedding planner which would have been near impossible to find on short notice. The resort supported wedding planner-level event coordination that was truly above and beyond.
On top of the amazing customer service- the event space/location/backdrop is unbeatable. The weather was perfect for 2 outdoor events in early September. The hearth room for our reception was beautiful, cozy, rustic but very elegant and made for a perfect space for our ~135 guests. This resort offers many included features that other event spaces do not. the hotel bar is a cosmopolitan destination that is great for family and friend gatherings throughout the stay. I highly recommend this venue and can't wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary. All of our guests want to come back with us to celebrate again!
As the parents of the bride, we had a terrific experience working with the Hyatt to make our daughter and her new husband's wedding the most spectacular event! Amy Liliquist and the amazing team at Hyatt, guided us thru all the steps, helping connect us with local services and then delivering a flawless 3-day weekend of events for our family and guests.
This venue checks every box... mountain views, beautiful hotel rooms, excellent customer service, amazing spa, and multiple ceremony/reception spots to make your wedding unique. The Beaver Creek village provides so many activities and restaurants near the venue for guests to enjoy. Amy at the Park Hyatt is phenomenal. She was so responsive to my emails, concerns, and made the wedding planning process so enjoyable. She hoped on many random phone calls throughout the process to help ease my nerves. One of my favorite parts of wedding planning at the Park Hyatt was the menu tasting! They accommodated all of our requests to make the meal we really wanted. My guests loved the food and still rave about it today! Overall I truly felt taken care of throughout the entire process. I wish I could re live the day all over again!
Park Hyatt Beaver Creek was the perfect location for our wedding day celebration! From the ceremony location outside among the trees to the beautiful reception room that looked like it was from a magazine, Park Hyatt was top notch. Working with Amy and the staff, they all exemplified professionalism and attention to detail throughout the whole planning process.
I would highly recommend Park Hyatt Beaver Creek for your next event!
Planning my wedding at the Parky Hyatt was the best decision I made for my big day. Amy Lilyquist, the event coordinator was AMAZING! She was so kind a helpful every step of the way. She is a true expert. All of here recommendations and advice was just what I need, from florist (Bustle and Bloom) to all my other vendors. The Park Hyatt hotel did a great job taking care of all my guests and making their stay a memorable weekend in the Rocky Mountains. If you want a beautiful Mountain weekend look no further. I can't say enough good things about Amy and the Park Hyatt. They even kept the rain away on my big day!
PHBC was the BEST place to get married and we are beyond happy that we chose PHBC for our wedding. We fell in love with PHBC even before the pandemic, and during the uncertainty, they were so flexible and always worked with us to adjust as plans changed over the year. Amy, their wedding and event manager, is top of the line. She can make anything happen and knows everyone in the business. Shes warm and friendly and a joy to be around. I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with her as she helped us have the perfect wedding weekend. Looking back, there is NOTHING we would change and it is all thanks to Amy and her team a PHBC. We cant wait to visit and celebrate our anniversaries there!
So happy that we chose this venue for our wedding. We had the ceremony outside on the patio and the reception in the crooked hearth and it was all beautiful. We had a long engagement so we worked with a couple of different event coordinators during the process but they made the transitions pretty seamless. I not only love that it was beautiful space but the hotel treated us very well while we stayed there as well. Very friendly staff and they went above and beyond to keep us and our wedding guests happy.
We had a very mixed experience getting married at the Park Hyatt. In the end, our wedding turned out beautiful and the staff at the Hyatt worked hard to fix most of our pain points, however there were a lot of pain points along the way. Overall I didn't feel that the quality of the service we received met our expectations. We had significant troubles with our room block. We felt that Robert tried to upsell us at every opportunity and was misleading about our ability to add additional rooms to our block. The service provided by the wedding planning team was spotty, although some of that was understandably due to maternity leaves and illnesses. What frustrated me most, however, was the inability of the wedding planning team to talk to each other during these events, which resulted in me spending the week prior to my wedding answering tons of questions I had already answered adding stress to an already stressful time. The final straw was that we felt that the hotel withheld information about their planned renovations from us until we were very close to our wedding date. They claimed they didn't know anything about a major renovation happening until several weeks ahead, which completely changed the look of the hotel and took away their most valuable asset - their beautiful lobby views. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the attention and service offered by the Hyatt, especially given the price we were paying to host our 160 person destination wedding there. Our wedding turned out lovely, but I think we could have had a better experience elsewhere.
Hotel intentionally withheld information regarding an impending renovation until 12 weeks prior to our wedding. The late notice was done intentionally to limit the impact on their new bookings and not give committed weddings sufficient time to change plans. Any business willing to stoop this low at the expense their customers is not one to trust for your wedding. Stay away.
Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is a wonderful venue and the perfect place for our wedding. After deciding a ballroom would be the best route for us (because it was easiest for our guests and, quite honestly, great for ease of planning), my Groom and I knew we didn't want a sterile ballroom. If we were going to go the ballroom route, we wanted one with personality and charm, which is a tall order for ballrooms! We looked at a bunch and every other one looked like it could be anywhere in the US and you couldn't even tell! At Park Hyatt, the room has beautiful wrought iron chandeliers, gorgeous wood beams, windows on both ends of the room, and Colorado influences everywhere you look. You knew, even though you were in a ballroom, you were in the amazing Rocky Mountains. Planning was fantastic, working with both Amanda and Kevin--we even had a delicious tasting of the meal we'd be serving at our wedding in 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill and got to meet the chefs. Day of, everything was seamless. If there was an issue, we were completely unaware. Rainier and his team were phenomenal, and all of our guests were so happy! The 24 x 24 dance floor was packed the whole time, the food was still delicious, and my Groom and I always had water and champagne in our glasses. We could not have asked for a better venue, and to feel more special, than Park Hyatt and I highly recommend this incredible team wholeheartedly!
All I can say is WOW, what a wedding! We also heard this from so many of our friends and family. Thanks to Megan Hough and her staff at the Park Hyatt our wedding was an absolute dream.
I will start off with the venue. We selected the 8100 Private Dining Room because of the room's unique character and rustic (but elegant) appeal. The space has room for ~90 guests with a dance floor and it was the perfect size.
Megan was so wonderful to work with and we couldn't have pulled the day off without her! She made sure that everything was perfect down to the last detail. We also cannot talk highly enough about the wait staff, chef and pastry chef. The wait staff made everyone feel as if they were celebrities and were so kind and accommodating. The food was out of this world, literally the best food I have ever had. The chef even worked with us to create a customized menu with a Wasabi crusted Filet. Now onto the cake, oh my gosh. I have never seen a more beautiful cake! Yes, I may be biased, but the intricacy of the icing was so beautiful and elegant. Not to mention, it tasted delicious.
Like I said before, our wedding was a fairy tale and it could not have been more perfect!
This was the perfect place to have our wedding! The service was wonderful. I work in hotels, so I was expecting a lot and they definitely delivered. They took care of our every need and were also very personable in the process. Kudos to them!! The only downside is that it was expensive, but it was worth it for the service quality.
