Parkway Place

Our daughter's wedding was held at Parkway Place on June 18, 2021 after a year postponement due to the pandemic. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting and a more dedicated, attentive staff as those we had at Parkway. Working with Parkway for two years was seamless and the communication in reference to pandemic state/national guidelines were welcome. We worked with Cindy who paid attention to so many of our wants/details. We highly recommend her expertise and care. It truly was more than we ever hoped for our daughter and we highly recommend Parkway Place for any of your meetings/wedding needs.

We had our wedding reception here and we are so happy with how everything turned out. We used the main ballroom which I loved the layout so much! It was very open and has a nice big dance floor. The staff did a great job and the food was very tasty! We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and the staff was very understanding and worked with us no problem. The manager Elizabeth and event coordinator Cindy were both a great help! I appreciate how responsive they were through the whole wedding planning process. We got so many compliments about how beautiful and nice our reception was! I recommend this hall!

I just had my wedding ceremony and Reception at parkway. They made sure every little detail was taken care of and our day went smoothly! Cindy was my coordinator and was on top of everything and great to work with! I would highly recommend them!

We loved our wedding reception and everyone who helped make it amazing at Parkway! The place was beautifully decorated, the staff was so polite and the food was amazing! They even did extra little things like a fresh plate of appetizers in the bridal suite when the wedding party arrived and frequent check ins to make sure everything was going well. I can’t recommend them enough!

We recently had our reception at Parkway Place on October 12th. We were more than pleased with how everything turned out. Cindy was our coordinator and she kept me calm throughout the last few months of the planning process by being on top of every detail for me, and making sure I had nothing to stress about. She was always quick to respond and had everything laid out and organized for me, always! The place looked beautiful that day and everything came together perfectly with the help of Parkway's set-up crew! Thank you Parkway for such a great experience that my husband and I will forever be grateful for!

Parkway Place was the best reception hall ever. They made my dream come to life. The staff was amazing and very prompt. The coordinators took care of scheduling my vendors drop off time and cleaned and packed all my items after the reception. The food was amazing and hot. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and quick. The coordinators were fantastic and always available to answer our questions. The best was our first dance under the twinkle lights on the dance floor with all our guest surrounding the dance floor. Parkway is truly amazing and will make your wedding "the best day ever".

My entire experience with Parkway was incredible: beginning to end! The coordinators were always prompt, punctual and thorough throughout all of our communicating/meeting. They were so easy to work with and so helpful bringing my vision to life. They even gave incredible vendor recommendations for DJ’s, floral arrangements, lightings, etc and all of the additional vendors I chose were outstanding! Those recommendations took so much off my plate as a bride as it eliminated hours of searching and guided me in the right direction toward some of Toledo’s best wedding vendors. I had both my rehearsal dinner and reception at Parkway. The food is incredible, the wait staff/bartenders were so kind and helpful and worked so quickly to accommodate and serve all my guests. Everyone loved the food and complimented the staff, cleanliness, and organization of the entire venue. Both ballrooms are beautiful and have so many additional components that can be added through them (Parkway) or accommodated with other vendors. Unlike many other reception venues, Parkway provides nearly everything - from linens, to chair covers, to a huge array of napkin/chair bow colors, to lighting options, a huge menu, etc. They invite the bride and groom to a sit down dinner prior to the big day to try the food and see all table/decor options in person to personalize your event! It was amazing! I have recommended this venue to so many friends and family because it was such an amazing experience and I’m so thankful for the entire staff for making my dreams and vision a reality. Please, look no further than Parkway Place for any event! They are the best!

I can’t say enough good things about how amazing Parkway was for our wedding last weekend! I absolutely LOVED everything about it! From the amazing staff, to the awesome food, fantastic cake from their in house baker, to the awesome party atmosphere their in house DJ created for us! It was everything we could of asked for and more! I’m so happy we chose Parkway Place for our special day!

I knew for a long time that I was going to have my wedding at Parkway Place, even before I got the ring. The staff was so accommodating and helpful with all of the hiccups I had during my wedding day. The bartenders were amazing and accommodating with my two signature drinks. Parkway is so accommodating to food allergies and making sure your meal is exactly how you wanted it. Alicia made sure everything went so smoothly on our day throughout our ceremony in the Mount Vernon room and our reception in the Main Hall. The servers worked so fast and so hard. I had a lot to worry about the day of my wedding and having the Parkway Place staff there took a lot of stress off. We got so many compliments on the food and the venue. Thank you Parkway Place for giving us our “Best Day Ever”

My husband and I got married 10-12-2019 and had our reception here at parkway. There is no way to describe parkway as anything other than phenomenal. Very organized, extremely professional, and genuinely willing to help. They took care of almost everything for me, including reaching out to my private vendors and staying in contact with them. Their cake lady Paula did a phenomenal job and our DJ John (both through parkway) was superb! We set the standards for weddings amongst our family and friends. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone getting married! Cindy and Tracy were our coordinators for the night and would highly suggest you request either one of them!

Such a great venue!!! It is a great place for a very informal FORMAL event. Super easy planning. The place was beautiful. Food is good. BARTENDERS ARE AWESOME. Get the extra bar! You won’t be sorry. I would have another daughters wedding here in a hot second

Everything about our reception was perfect! Alicia helped so much during the planning process. The space was large and open and easily accommodated 300 guests. The dance floor in the middle was great, and the stage for the bridal party made the party stand above. We had two bars, which kept the lines flowing. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

I cant say enough good about Parkway Place. We had our wedding reception there and they blew us away! From the 1st day i walked in till the day of the wedding, they were there helping with anything and everything I needed! I tell and will continue to tell everyone how amazing they were! Love them!!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Parkway Place, and it was the perfect venue! Alicia at Parkway was a total professional and kept all details of my day in order. She was extremely helpful with her recommendations, and was so kind and easy to work with! The staff at Parkway do everything for you - setup, teardown, ceremony coordination, etc. As an event planner myself, it was a total relief knowing that Parkway would handle every detail of my day, and I had nothing to worry about. It’s also a beautiful venue that can seat large groups comfortably. I highly recommend anyone considering this venue to check it out - it’s completely worth it!

We want to share a big 5 stars for Parkway Place who helped make our special day PERFECT. Not only is the reception hall gorgeous and super accommodating for our large number of guests, but the staff was so incredibly helpful. Elizabeth and Alicia did everything they could to make my vision come to life. I still have friends and family commenting on how beautiful the reception was and how good the food was!

Parkway Place was absolutely amazing. Elizabeth and Cindy executed everything perfectly! We had a change in our planner since our previous planner had left her job there. Cindy was assigned to us just a couple weeks before our big day, and while that undoubtedly made us nervous, she could not have done a better job! She was so calm, organized, and truly helped me relax and just enjoy our day! She made sure our ceremony was completed in a timely manner and helped keep the whole event on track according to our timeline. The parkway staff were so helpful in rearranging the space since we had our ceremony in the same space as our reception. It was absolute perfection and I couldn’t have imagined it going any better. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Everyone is there to make your day go as perfectly as possible. Food was good. Bar was run perfectly! Having a go-to person on site was very relaxing. Follow the staffs advice and everything should work out well!

Parkway Place was a dream! They took away the stress of wedding planning! Elizabeth and Katie were always there when I needed them and were always quick to respond! I wouldn’t change a thing! Choosing Parkway Place was the best decision we made!

Our wedding in the Mt. Vernon Room was amazing!! Everyone enjoyed themselves. We had the package which included everything, and I would suggest that to EVERYONE!! It was so easy and the staff at Parkway are great to work with. The food was amazing, DJ Pete is great, and the cake by Paula was exactly what we wanted. Beyond that, the venue is perfect for a ceremony and the reception to follow. Cindy was fantastic and was there to make sure everything went perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better day.!

Parkway was a true dream come true! I had my December wedding here in the mount Vernon room! From my initial commutation with Elizabeth and my final details with my coordinator Katie, everything went smooth. Elizabeth went out her way to ensure I had everything I needed, she went above and beyond to make my wedding day special! Once I meet Katie to go over my day of coordination she was just as great, very supportive and always offering ideas and advice. I got so many compliments on how beautiful everything turned out. The food was amazing, we chose the beef brisket and air fry chicken, we received many compliments on how wonderful food was. Staff was friendly, bar was great! Also we used in-house cake decorator Paula and she was theeee best! My cake was exactly what I wanted and the flavor was phenomenal! I could go on and on about the services Parkway provided, if your looking for a venue Parkway is the way to go!

Our reception was awesome!!! The staff was excellent to work with and very knowledgeable. Kuddos to Elizabeth and Cathy and the rest of the wait staff for making our night stress free and amazing!

I knew I wanted our reception at parkway place the minute I got engaged. I had been at another wedding there and the food was phenomenal for "wedding food" ... everyone knows that's what wedding guests tend to critique the most. I was so pleased to hear the same from my guests & how surprised they were that the food was really good. Elizabeth and Katie helped make our special day unforgettable! I almost want to do it again!

Guys, seriously, this is the best place possible for your reception. Elizabeth and her staff cover everything you can possibly need. Beautiful setting, amazing food, and they are so accommodating!!! I wish I had another event coming up just so I could work with Elizabeth again! Worth every single penny!!

I had a very good experience using parkway place. All the girls there are very nice and helpful. They helped make my special day happen the way I wanted it. Katie was my coordinator and she did a great job stayed in communication with me. Everything was just the way we discussed and she was able to set up my centerpieces and tables the way I wanted. Food was good I did a top round of beef, Italian Chicken, green beans, baby baker potatoes and appetizers we had quiche cheese platter and veg and dip and it was buffet style. I would recommend them to a friend!

Parkway Place made our day absolutely outstanding. If you are looking for a combination of a great venue along with fantastic food then no need to continue your search. Elizabeth was more than accommodating to all of our needs and great to work with. Parkway takes an all hands approach and really takes a lot of stress out of the planning. Would highly recommend to anyone!

From the moment I walked into this venue I knew I wanted to book it! It was like when you find the perfect dress, it just felt right! The staff was very friendly and accommodating through out the entire planning process. I was always able to get a hold of my coordinator Katie via email whenever needed. The problems started to occur the day before my wedding. Rehearsal was so stressful and I felt rushed the entire time. I also had a random coordinator that I had never met until that day! Katie my initial coordinator was there but was focusing more on the wedding in the main hall, which made me feel pushed aside. The day of my wedding everything was beautiful and couldn't have been better!! The cake was beautiful which I was made through the venue and the catering was efficient and delicious!! I'm still getting compliments till this day! Unfortunately my coordinator for the day was not aware I wanted floating candles, I just had vases with fake flowers in them, which I stayed up the night before my wedding anchoring down so they wouldn't float! We also had a few problems with dimming the lights because the coordinator was not familiar with them (Awkward). Although their were moments where I was disappointed my vision wasn't completely followed through with, I still loved my wedding day and was happy with the venue overall.

I just had my wedding reception at parkway on July 1st 2017 and everything was exceptional!! The staff was very nice and professional... butler style! The food was amazing!! The drinks were stiff!! The hall was absolutely stunning but most of all my wedding planner Rachel Was absolutely top notch!! She turned my dream into a reality!!!! I can never thank her enough for everything she did for us!! I had the best day of my entire life!!!

I don't have one bad thing to say about Parkway Place! First of all, the venue itself is great. It is so large and spacious and was perfect for our wedding. Elizabeth was so easy to work with this past year and always answered any questions we had. Katie was our coordinator for the day of the wedding, and she was amazing! Everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Even during the wedding my sister said to me "oh my gosh Katie is so great!" My husband and I are so happy we chose Parkway Place as the venue for our wedding reception. We would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!

If I could do my wedding day over again I would choose parkway place again and again and again... We had the best experience. The staff is friendly, amazing, organized, patient, and easy to work with. They not only did everything to make my wedding planning experience easy and stress free. But they helped me turn my wedding day dreams into reality. The wedding reception flowed smoothly in a well organized manor that kept guests engaged and happy. The food was delicious, some of the best food I've ever eaten at a wedding. We received many favorable compliments. We also received many compliments from guests in regards to sound quality. Parkway place has a sound system designed around the center dance floor. Making the dance floor a hot spot filled with music, but also making conversations easy amongst the guests seated at their tables. The room in which our reception was held is spacious and comfortable. We hosted just under 300 guests. It is beautiful with a classy and elegant feel. It doesn't require a lot of additional decorations, only enough to give it your own personal flavor. I created most of my own additions, and was able to set them up myself (with plenty of help from the staff) at a comfortable time before the event. Afterwards the staff made tear down 100% stress free by tearing down and packaging all my personal touches and decorations. They only asked that we pick up the belongings early into the following week. Again, I cannot say enough how satisfied I was with the whole parkway place experience for our wedding day. And the number of compliments we received from family and friends was reassurance to how well the party went :)

Parkway Place was the best place to have our wedding. The staff were nothing short of helpful during the whole process. From the day we decided to have our wedding day up until the day of the wedding, staff were constantly in communication with us. The food, cake, and music were fantastic. The staff set up the decorations the day before the wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff made sure I was comfortable and worry free the whole time. I was not stressed or worried at all about u the wedding. I highly recommend using Parkway Place for your wedding. The staff at Parkway Place did an amazing job for our wedding 08.06.2016; I couldn't be happier with the experience they provided! My fiance and I chose the Premier Package, which included a cake by Toledo Wedding Cakes and their house DJ, P.A. Sound by Pete Atherine III . Elizabeth and Katie were extremely helpful every step of the way, friendly, and easy to get in contact with. The hall itself is already elegant, the food was absolutely delicious and the night ran smoothly. Thank you so much again!

We had an amazing wedding with Parkway Place. We used the Main Hall for our ceremony, Cocktail Hour in the Mt. Vernon room, and then had our reception back in the Main Hall. Elizabeth, our coordinator, was outstanding to work with. From the start, she provided us with ideas, options, and ways to do things in a cost effective manner. Her personality was a perfect match for us and she completely took our dreams and brought them to life. We owe her so much for making our special day absolutely amazing. The food was incredible. The chef plated beautiful meals that were served quickly to our 280 guests. Everyone raved about the food. It was just perfect. The wait staff was professional, friendly, and prompt. They did things just the way we wanted. Elizabeth rallied her staff and was able to flip the Main Hall from a ceremony to a reception, with a completely different look in just a very short time. We were amazed. Absolutely incredible. The cake, DJ, and lighting vendors were on site and part of our package. Our cake was unforgettable... gorgeous and so yummy. The lighting absolutely made the day. We had soft uplighting for the ceremony and a completely different look for the reception. The DJ played the music we wanted and knew how to keep the party going. He did not do too much talking and kept everyone on the dance floor! Hats off to Memorable Creations, DJ Pete, and Ambient Effects! Our guests have not stopped talking about how beautiful our event was, how great the food was, and how perfect the entire day was. This says a lot about Parkway. They did not disappoint. I would be happy to talk with any bride or person planning an event at Parkway. It is sure to exceed your expectations and be wonderful. I had my wedding reception here on May 20th 2016. My coordinator was Rachael. The food was amazing (I'm still getting comments on how good it was), the open bar included in the price, as well as the coordinator. They set up all of your decorations, as well as take them down and clean up, for you, which really takes away some stress. Rachael was super helpful throughout my planning and they are very accommodating there, making sure everything is the way you want it. I also used the in house DJ, Pete, and he was awesome! Super fun to work with and played great music throughout the night. I really couldn't have asked for a better place.

Best venue in Toledo and surrounding areas. Elegant hall unlike anywhere else. Theevening ran smoothly with great staff. Not a single issue with the entire process. I would highly suggest Parkways house baker. Food was amazing and many compliments given on house delicious the food options and great vegetarian suppliments for some of my guests. I would do my wedding all over again and not change anything with this venue. Thanks Parkway!!

From the exceptional guidance we received while planning the reception to the beauty of the set up room when we arrived to the friendliness of the staff the night of the event we could not have wished for a better experience. I was extremely happy with the outcome of our reception. While the outside doesn't look like much, the inside is beautiful. Also everyone there is extremely helpful and willing to help you figure out everything you need to make your day perfect. Rachael is amazing g and set up all the centerpieces for me. Also the food is amazing and the bartenders were extremely professional and funny. I would recommend this reception site!

Parkway Place was the PERFECT venue for our elegant wedding! The coordinators were very professional and always easy to work with. We had quite a few special requests, and they exceeded our expectations by how accommodating they were of them! The kitchen staff clearly knows what they are doing. It is now weeks later and I am still hearing from our guests how delicious the appetizers were! I am not biased because it was my wedding, but that was the best meal I had ever had at a wedding! The staff did an excellent job setting up our dessert buffet display. The in-house DJ was so much fun to work with and made the night move along seamlessly. The bar and server staff all did an amazing job as well. A+ Parkway Place, thank you for the perfect wedding reception!

Look no further.. Parkway is the best around. My husband and I had our reception at Parkway Place in May, and we could not have chosen a better venue for our reception! Let me start with our coordinator, Megan. She was so incredibly helpful. She genuinely cared about making our day the best it could be for us. Not only did she have wonderful recommendations, but was always available when needed. From providing us with samples and letting us come in any time to check things out, Megan truly went above and beyond to help make our day special. Megan was not the only amazing staff member at Parkway; We could not have been happier with how every encounter was, from the bar tenders to the waiters/waitresses. They were all great. Now on to the food.. It was so delicious and there were so many other delicious choices to have had. People would not stop talking about how great everything was. I love food and theirs was to die for. The venue itself is so beautiful! All of our guests were highly inpressed and commented all night about how gorgeous of a reception hall Parkway is. Their options for decor are endless, and again Megan was very helpful in this aspect. I would highly highly recommend Parkway Place for your wedding reception venue, or any other event for that matter.

Parkway was, by far, the best venue to have a wedding reception! The staff was wonderful at helping to keep details outlined with a timeline established to make us feel as if every second of our special day was accounted for and covered. Elizabeth and Rachael were wonderful to work with - easily accessible whenever needed and helpful when providing suggestions! I would recommend Parkway to anyone planning an event. The centrally located dance floor with plenty of room for tables circling helped make the environment so much more inviting for guests. There are so many venues in the Toledo area to choose from but Parkway was worth every penny! I received so many compliments on the great food and service - a big kudos goes out to the Parkway staff!!

My fiancé and I shopped around and Parkway Place was the most cost efficient place to hold our reception. When I first viewed the hall, I fell in love. It is a beautiful venue. Then I tasted the food and knew beyond a doubt that we picked the best place. Everyone at the hall from our wedding planner to our bartender, DJ Pete to the wait staff was phenomenal. All of my guests raved about the food and said how beautiful the hall was. It was the perfect place for a perfect day!

My husband and I got married here and also had our reception here. Everything was absolutely perfect! Elizabeth and her team were wonderful throughout the entire process. Our wedding coordinator, Megan, was great! She was there through the entire thing and was readily available with answers to our questions. The onsite DJ was awesome! Our guests loved him! The onsite baker was a pleasure and the cake was yummy! We used the florist there as well. The flowers and decor was everything I asked for! I would highly recommend this venue!

Parkway Place has a big and beautiful hall with many options in decor style. We worked with Elizabeth and Megan throughout the process and loved them both! With Megan as our assigned coordinator, our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect! She was as devoted to the details as I was, being the ever-so-meticulous bride. She went out of her way to make sure we had exactly what we wanted, even if it was a last-minute thought. We couldn't have been more pleased with Parkway Place. Bravo!

My husband, family, friends, and I could not say enough about Parkway Place. It was beautiful, affordable, and everything I could have imagined. Parkway did everything they could throughout the months I worked with them to make my day whatever I wanted it to be. The service on the night of our wedding was to the T. I have been to many weddings, some within the same month and nothing else compares to the service and quality we received working with them. For example we had a wedding of 430+ people. Parkway served our guest food in under 30 min, our guest couldn't stop commenting on the top line service all night. We didn't want the night to end! I would recommend Parkway to anyone! We had a day to remember and a lifetime of memories! Thank you Parkway for making our day everything we could have asked for and more!

The food was amazing. Also the venue looked like I had pictured it. My husband and I wish we could go back and relive that night. But overall it was great.

This venue gives you access to a wedding coordinator. But make sure you get every detail on what she is there for because we were very disappointed. I had trouble getting into contact with her leading up to the wedding and the night of my reception she was nowhere to be found- they had assigned me an "event manager" that I never heard about beforehand. Even with this event manager I felt like I had to run everything myself- not something the bride should have to do when she has a coordinator that should be assisting! When I wrote to the head of the venue about my disappointments I never received an apology. Her responses to my concerns were defensive and she made me feel like it was our fault and she felt the need to "clarify" what we didn't understand. Her words were "sometimes the coordination between the client and our staff can develop glitches" and yet she never provided an apology to these "glitches" that occurred during my reception. So if you do choose to use them, make sure they "clarify" things with you up front so you know exactly what you're getting.

I was married in the Main Hall on 6/14/14 and we had Rachael as our coordinator. Everything was so wonderful! They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire planning process and the day of. The venue is so well-kept and the layout is fantastic. We used their cake baker (fantastic!) and the florist associated with the venue (also fantastic!). Overall, we had such a wonderful wedding at Parkway Place. I couldn't have asked for a better place to hold our reception.

I could not have chosen a better venue for my wedding reception! The food was AMAZING - so many of my guests raved about how delicious it was. It was such a gorgeous space, and the staff was exceptional. There were literally NO snags at the reception and everything ran SO smoothly. I did not have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy my reception! I highly recommend Parkway Place.

My wedding is not until June 27,2015. We were between 2 wedding venues and decided to go with Parkway Place. I live outside of toledo and was in town ready to go book the venue. I called and got no answer but the answering machine said they had office hours so I knew someone would be there. We walked in and the lady there was completely rude to us. Acted like we didn't belong there and not friendly at all. Mind you we met with the same lady a month prior to look at the venue. We asked her a few questions and about possible wedding dates. She stated that the date we originally wanted was booked but she would check about the following weekend. She came back saying that it wasn't booked....but she thought she had a couple coming in the next dat to book and that she would call us if they didn't show !!!!! What???? I was there that day ready to make a payment! Completely unprofessional and rude. I was kind of glad though...made our decision that much easier. Even if they would have called and said that the couple didn't book...we would have NEVER booked after how we were treated!

Had a very nice reception here, it was a little pricey but got great service and a lot of compliments.

Our wedding at Parkway in August was absolutely perfect. The moment we walked in to the venue, we knew we had to have our wedding reception at Parkway Place. The staff, especially Megan, our event coordinator, gave us such a wonderful settling feeling throughout the entire planning process. She helped me with the littlest details any bride can imagine, and was always getting back to me quickly whenever I had a question. They were extremely flexible in accommodating our needs and gave us everything we wanted. Parkway is one of the most elaborate venues in town for a large wedding.
