We got married in Sept 2019 at the Royal Grand Manor, formerly known as the Ellora, in Edison, NJ. Ranaji was such a pleasure to work with. He listened to all of our requests and came through with everything we originally discussed starting from day 1. Our friends and family enjoyed everything about the venue, including the amazing food! We highly recommend working with Rana to plan your most special day at this venue!

The Ellora was an amazing experience from the start. Ashley's customer service alone sold us on the venue. She supported me and my husband throughout the entire process and jumped onboard with our short timeline. I did not bring in any decorations and I don't know why anyone ever would. The ceremony room and reception room took my breath away and the best part was I didn't have to do any of it. The staff knew exactly what to do and I could trust their experience. Everyone can't stop talking about the food either. I have people texting me about it days later. It was food I would pay for on a date night not bland catering hall food so if you're about the food you need to check out the Ellora. Lastly the bridal attendant took care of me so well I didn't miss anything and my bridesmaids and mother could relax instead of running around helping me. The maitre D kept the night running smoothly and wrangled the family for me so I got to be a guest at my own party instead of playing party planner. Thank you everyone from the owner to the bussers. My wedding was amazing and I couldn't ask for anything better! Thanks! Mr and Mrs. M

WHS held it's 55th reunion at the Ellora. Everything was perfect, the waitstaff did an excellent job, the room was decorated beautifully. The buffet dinner was incredible. We were all very impressed with the delicious food. This place is outstanding.

We were recently married at The Rosewood and I can't express how happy we were with everything! From the beginning, Patty and Kyle were helpful, informative, kind and answered all of our many questions. They worked within our budget and made some great suggestions. Kyle was our maitre'd and was great. He kept checking in on us throughout the day and took care of any requests we may have had. He was in touch with me days before to go over all the details and everything that I had communicated was done exactly the way I had asked come wedding day. The food was OUTSTANDING! Everything was so delicious and the little ice cream cones at the end were a big hit with our guests. I highly recommend The Rosewood to couples!

1st let me say that I plan weddings, parties, ect and have been to a lot of venues. This place is a good value, if your on a budget. The décor is average carpet "banquet" style design. The service was just "okay", not really white glove above and beyond type service. The food was great. In the beginning, they seamed very willing to please and meet all request up until 2 nights before wedding at rehearsal. I asked for them to move a few dusty silk floral arrangements they had in chapel, and was told it would be done. Unfortunately I did not get to see the chapel on the day of wedding, so when I walked down the isle, those same ugly flowers was still there, not to mention the isle runner they said that that would provide, was also not there :-( what a way to start my wedding day. Simple, easily avoidable disappointments. I also paid for an extra bar tender, so that my guest could take full advantage of open bar without waiting in line for 10 minutes for a drink. The alleged bar tender became ill with the flu, and I was NEVER notified of this in advance. I found out when I asked my matridee why there was a line at the bar during reception, and he said, "oh yeah, he called out sick, I have your refund fee in the office". I would hate to think how busy bar was at cocktail hour since I was not there at that time. With all this being said, that is why I said service was just "okay". Since I do plan events, I know that unforeseen things can happen, but these were all things that could have been prevented. Also, I know the ridiculous cost that banquet halls charge for weddings, and this place was very reasonably priced, which was what I was looking for. Didn't want to spend a small fortune on just 5 hours of fun.

They were great with working within my budget. There was only one thing that made me unhappy with them. The day of there no was food in our bridal suit. I had to ask multiple times and then they brought us 10 apps for 20 people. Besides that everything was wonderful. Their food is great!

I saw The Rosewood at a bridal show and was invited to go to a private event they were hosting with more vendors. Once I showed up at the venue, I knew right away this was where my wedding was going to be. The Grand Ball room is BEAUTIFUL and PLENTY of space for my guests. The room was absolutely amazing, the service was excellent, and the price was just right. Patti and Naomi did a wonderful job assisting me with whatever needs I had or any questions and concerns I had. The suites were amazing and the staff itself the day of were fabulous. The food, omg, the food is mouth watering delicious! My husband and I received sooooo many compliments on how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was. The cocktail hour alone started off with a bang. The food there was incredible as well! Mike and I have no complaints whatsoever about this place and would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a elegant, yet simple place to be married. Even getting married on site was beautiful. Cobblestone walkway with an arch and it looks so beautiful inside. The flower garden was lovely to take pictures in and having that all to ourselves and then the bridal party was amazing. Best pictures I can think of. This place is amazing and I seriously would recommend this to everyone. The people are amazing, the price is right, and your guaranteed to have your guests telling you how beautiful the place is and how awesome the food is. Ask for Patti and your in amazing hands:) Once the wedding comes, Naomi will take care of you and let you be the princess you deserve for the day. AMAZING JOB GUYS THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH!!!

When I first came to The Rosewood I knew this was the place I was going to get married. The venue is amazing and had the exact feel I was going for. Danielle was the woman we dealt with for tastings and meetings. AMAZING GIRL! I loved her. Our Madre De, Laura, was great as well. My only complaint is that when coming in to the venue, my guests began arriving so I wanted to find the best way to come in without anyone seeing me. Instead of being directed to the back entrance, I walked in the front where my guests could easily see me. This was not Laura nor Danielle's fault, but another woman working there. Other than that everything was amazing and I would recommend The Rosewood!

We had our wedding at The Rosewood on May 18th, 2013 and it was amazing. The food, service and overall ambiance was everything I asked for. Melanie, Danielle and Patty were incredible with setting up our reception and ceremony and beyond attentive to all my particular details. My guests are still raving about how this was the best wedding they have been too in a while and they had wished it didn't go so fast. I highly highly recommend The Rosewood for weddings, it's just fun and no pressure!

The staff at the Rosewood Caterers went above and beyond my expectations on our wedding day. They were very responsive to e-mails, kind, warm, and made everything run smoothly. Patty, Melanie, and Danielle are so nice and a joy to work with. They were all very dedicated to making our special day a success! I knew the Rosewood would be perfect for our wedding when I met such a kind, warm, genuine, professional staff.
If you want to work with easy going people and enjoy great food in a beautiful space, the Rosewood is for you!
Thanks to everyone at the Rosewood for the exceptional service that you provided. I had so much fun with my husband! :)

I was married two weeks ago on April 20 at The Rosewood. It was everything I dreamed of and so much more! My husband and I fell in love with the place (and Patti) from the moment we first went there, and everything was exceptional from that point on. Danielle, Laura, Melanie, and the rest of the staff made sure we didn't stress over anything. We had both our ceremony and reception here, and the one stop for everything was so convenient and the ceremony room is breath-taking! My guests are still raving about the food and how absolutely gorgeous the facilities were! They even accomodated a last-minute, day of guest to the wedding without a problem at all. The mashed potato bar was my absolute favorite, and we have gorgeous pictures from the garden out back. Absolutely amazing wedding at an absolutely phenomenal venue!!!! I will miss everyone there, and will try to get anyone engaged to get married here so I can go here again :) Thanks so much to everyone at The Rosewood- you truly made our day everything we could have hoped for :)

We had our wedding at the Rosewood and the service there was great. They really helped to make everything seamless without my having to worry about it. I provided the venue with a timeline of events and decor to set up the day of the week before my wedding. Everything went smoothly and the decorations looked amazing. Guests also told me the food was great since I didnt have the time to stop and eat during the reception.

The Rosewood is a hidden gem!!! We got married at The Rosewood May 2012 and everyone is still talking about it. After visiting several reception halls, we picked the "The Rosewood" to begin our life together. Why? Because of the staff!! They made us feel like we were their only client, like I was the only bride getting married that day. Our special day was special to them too!! The prices are excellent for everything that we received; wedding chapel, cocktail hour and reception!!! We couldn't ask for a better day. Thank you Patty, Danielle and Erica for everything!! Words cannot express how you eased my mind. Thank you for always being patient with me and addressing my many questions and concerns. Your gentleness and professionalism, put a nervous bride at ease. We are extremely grateful for making our day more than we could ever imagine.

This was the third place we checked out while looking for venues, and as soon as we walked in, we were taken aback by the gorgeous staircase and detailed woodwork. They had a plaque on a table that said, "All because two people fell in love". That quote is hanging in our apartment and we took it as a sign. When they explained to us what they did, we truly appreciated the attention to detail. The one woman who we met with was describing a few ideas for us and she started getting teary-eyed, and to us, that meant she really enjoys what she does. On our wedding day, they took care of everything. I was a little stressed out, as most brides are on the big day, but they did their best to ease some of my anxiety. I didn't have to ask twice for anything and we just felt they genuinely cared about our wedding as much as we did. We had a wonderful time at the reception, and as we talked with our guests, all they could do was rave about the staff, the food was impeccable and the overall beauty of the venue. My husband and I hardly got to eat because we were so worried making sure everyone was enjoying themselves, but when we left, The Rosewood provided us with two fresh meals from the dinner, which we enjoyed later on that night. It just felt really nice to be catered to for a day especially by people who really made it their personal goal to make our wedding a one of a kind experience!

From the moment I walked into the doors at the Rosewood, I was welcomed with open arms with friendly smiles and attitudes. I had been to other reception halls previously and had been treated as if it was a burden to give me a tour - that was until I met Danielle. After an initial meeting with her, I brought my husband back that weekend. We were amazed at how inexpensive, yet elegant the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception rooms were. Immediately we put down a deposit because I did not want to lose out on such a wonderful place. I had dreamed of my wedding since I was a little girl and on my wedding day, everything was just as I had hoped. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely courteous to not only my husband and I, but to all of my guests. I cannot thank the Rosewood enough for making my wedding dreams come true! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We were married at the Rosewood over a year ago, and people are still raving about our wedding!!! Julie and Melanie were both totally amazing! They got everything done and beautiful. There were only 2 things that I'd advise, 1. Read and Re Read your contract- just because they promised you something if it's not in your contract specifically you will be given the runaround- we had this from the owner about our good night station but she was VERY helpful and gave it to us. We were able to get them to reduce their prices by a decent amount and the quaity of the food was amazing. People LOVED the mashe potato bar! We would definately highly reccommend The Rosewood to anyone, and everyone! there was no better value! We had a VERY large wedding, and everytihng was excellant. The only other issue we had was that a small group of table cards were misplaced maybe our fault, but when guests asked the staff for their seats noone ever checked with me and people were treated as though they didn't belong. We had one family leave our wedding,so half a table was empty- because the staff didn't help them, or check with anyone who could help them. aside from that it was a perfect atmosphere with a tiny but beautiful garden. Behind the building are train tracks which make for awesome photos. The food was incrediable. and everyone had a great time. This was the 2nd cheapest place we looked at and the quality was just so high! We had a custom cake, bridal suite, goodnight station, sitdown dinner - with seconds!, cocktail hour that was beyond amazing, signature drink, chocolate fondue fountian, mini icecream cones (our favorite)and much much more!

We loved our wedding at The Rosewood. Got very lucky and was the only wedding that day, my husband and his groom's men got their own suite and so did my bridesmaids and me. The food was excellent, and we loved how they came around with a second helping of everything and you could take as much or little as you wanted!!!! Ive never seen this anywhere else!

It's already been two and a half weeks after our wedding reception and everyone is still raving about the food at The Rosewood!! I've been told before by someone who has attended a wedding reception here before that the food was great, but having the chance to taste it ourself, it exceeded our expectations! The variety of food they offer was abundant! During hor's D'ouvres alone, we felt satisfied already, and dinner and dessert surpassed it!
The staff are very friendly. We first met with Danielle who helped us book for our date. They were also and very accommodating, as they he helped us make adjustments with our concerns for our drinks. They even had our cake made beautifully, just as I had requested and drawn it (it was included in our package). And Danielle, our maitre'd, so calm, so poised, and so patient!
Additionally, Their garden looked beautiful as the flowers bloomed more during our August Wedding. The Rosewood looked gorgeous as the night progressed, with the lights on the staircase and the chandeliers. All-in-all we were impressed, and would recommend The Rosewood!

I have not one thing bad to say about our venue. The staff (my maitre'd in particular) was a PLEASURE. We started planning our wedding only 6 months out and did not have a wedding planner. Our maitre'd and the staff at The Rosewood took the place of a planner without any extra charge. They were incredible and had wonderful suggestions.
The day of the wedding everything they promised was done AND more. My guests were astounded at the level of professionalism and the beauty of the place and I felt at ease finally about the wedding. They were truly professionals and they made our day one to remember.

My husband and I chose to have our wedding at The Rosewood because it was inexpensive, and offered much more than the pricey places we were looking at. The rooms were lovely, and they helped us out a lot with planning what we wanted for food and drinks, decorations, etc. The food was delicious, the service quick, and our cake beautiful.
My complaint, though, would be with management. If you go with The Rosewood, I highly recommend you call the morning of the wedding to re-verify everything. My guests informed me that one table in our reception hall had the wrong menu cards on them - they were from a different wedding, with the other couple's names on it (despite us pointing out this exact issue at our rehearsal dinner). They forgot to bring out the second wedding cake I had provided them with (it was a traditional cake from my heritage), and served the vegetarians the wrong dish (we asked for pasta with grilled veggies...they gave us a simple veggie platter), and instead of the cordials and coffee we asked for, we got a fondue fountain (not that I'm complaining about that too much). And, to top it off, even our simple signature drink was wrong. We basically asked for tequila sour with blue curacao added for color. Simple drink - three ingredients. Still, our "Emerald Kiss" ended up "Windex Blue" because they used tonic instead of sour. Overall, the night was great, and they offered to bring out the right things when we pointed out what was wrong, but there shouldn't have been any problems to begin with

I got married on July 11, 2009. The Rosewood was absolutely beautiful. During my planning process, they were always available for my questions. I called them several times a day for questions that popped up in my head (ie Was the cream tablecloths really light? Did the champagne bows on the seat cover look ok?) Anything that came up, I called them. I had their number saved on my cell. Danielle told me to call with any questions and believe me I did. Not once did she sound annoyed on the phone.
My sister got married there when the did business as "The Victorian Manor". The changes that were done to this place was gorgeous. The light fixtures, carpet, couches and china were perfect. The price they offered for their services could not be beat by any other vendor.
We had our ceremony in the Garden and the reception in the Knight's Room (I think that's what it was called). They provided the centerpieces and not only were they beautiful, but we also saved a bunch. The food was fantastic and the cake was to die for. They worked with us and our family members that had allergies to seafood. They provided the exact cake that we asked of them.
Our Matre'D was awesome (Patty). She did everything that we asked (Please make sure to tip her nicely). She made sure that everything went smoothly and on time (at least the best she could).
Most important point: We were able to do a rehearsal the day before the wedding even while there was an event going on. I was kind of upset that we had to wait to use the Garden but they worked with us and we just changed the time of the rehearsal (I got there super late bc of traffic on the Turnpike- but they were ok with that)
I love this place and if I could get married again (with the same guy of course) I would do it there in a heart beat.
I definitely recommend this venue. You can't ask for a better place for such a great price!!
