Rented a 20x40 tent for our wedding and it was perfect. The company delivered and set up the tent the day before, ensured the placement was what we wanted and were very friendly and professional. I was overall very pleased with the ease of every step of communication and service with Party Time. Would highly recommend their services.
Had everything I needed for a last minute change to my event.
I absolutely loved working with Amanda and Brandy. They helped me beyond measure with my wedding. Would definitely recommend party time rents in jasper! ❤️
Hired Party Time for our wedding at Sharp Mountain Vineyards. They provided tables, chairs, linens and two tents for our dance floor and food service area. Everything up to the day of our setup was easy going. They were able to accommodate changes to counts and numbers relatively quickly and provided updates to our invoice. The wheels starting falling off the day before our setup. They let us know that they would be a little late than our agreed upon time (2PM), which was totally acceptable. On the day of our setup, after four phone calls including one from the venue owner, after being told each time that the truck was being loaded and driven over, our rentals finally arrived at 5PM. This caused us to miss our rehearsal dinner reservations. Party Time tried to tell our venue owner that they did not have an agreed upon time to deliver when we confirmed it both via phone and email in the week leading up to the event. The rentals themselves were great; no complaints there. After two weeks pass, we received a phone call from Party Time to apologize for what happened. They claim there were call outs and everything going out was very late. However, at no point on the day of setup did they mention this. There was no transparency, just kicking the can down the road. They refused a refund for our time and stress and even tried to charge us for two linen that got candle wax on them (from tea lights, no less). Do yourselves a favor and pay a little extra to get rentals from further away. We cannot recommend this company. Your results may vary.
OVERPRICED. DISRESPECTFUL. TARDY. SNEAKY CHARGE 5 DAYS LATER. BEWARE!!! I recommend getting your event rentals from ANYWHERE ELSE. I wish I'd paid the delivery charges from an Atlanta company because it is not worth the ongoing stomach and head ache I have had throughout the process of dealing with this company which is now looking like it could unfortunately possibly continue for months after my otherwise perfect wedding.
Worst experience with any vendor ever, I am shocked that they have a 4 star rating on multiple sites. The owner YELLED at my GUESTS who were staying at our venue the day after the event!!! How UNPROFESSIONAL, my guests like any guests had no idea what was going on and were upset by the confrontation. Why she did not contact my planners or coordinators to figure things out is beyond my understanding.
Then, five days after my event, they charged me a completely unreasonable, unexpected, $250 charge (20% of my total spent with them) without any notification or explanation until I called to investigate. I was informed that $50 was for 2 linens that were burnt from the candlesticks - which I'll gladly cover because it's in our contract, and the rest - $200!!!!! - was an "Excessive clean up fee" for having to make multiple trips for pick up after their crew only needed 1 trip for drop-off, which I paid $80 for delivery/pickup and somehow I owe $200 extra??? It makes no sense and is frankly ridiculous and SHADY.
I have written rave reviews about all of my vendors and I wasn't going to write a negative review because I felt that withholding gratuity would communicate that yelling at my guests was unacceptable, UNTIL I saw this $250 charge on my card that I was completely unaware of and not expecting and am now going to have to dispute despite my attempts to communicate with Party Time Rentals and give them the opportunity to change it.
I will not lay down for bullies and Party Time Rentals will not be taking my money like they've tried. This vendor clearly needs a reboot of their customer service policies as I found out after talking to other local customers of theirs who have had awful experiences as well. I never want to spread negativity, but this kind of behavior by businesses is unacceptable, and I wish I had been warned.
I used Party Time Rents for my Wedding at the rock barn this past weekend. Donna and the staff at the rock barn were great and I also had a great experience working with Tammy at Party Time Rents. The only reason I cannot give a 5 star rating on the review is due to the experience I had in regards to the lights I rented. They were installed on Thursday evening and I returned on Friday morning to deliver some items to my wedding planner only to find lights not working and cords hanging. I made a call to the office and was told they would be fixed by that evening as my rehearsal was going to be there. I came into my rehearsal to find the same issues and had 0 communication from the rental company which I was not happy with but was assured that the problems would be fixed the day of my wedding before the ceremony began. So I was informed on my wedding day that there were still issues with the lighting but luckily my ushers took care of it so that I wouldn't have to worry with them during the ceremony. The owner did take care of the lights which I am thankful for only after I said that it wasn't fair that I had to worry with them my entire weekend but not only did I have this issue, on Sunday, there were some items that were left behind and my husband and I went to retrieve them. Upon arrival I found that there was another event taking place and that the party was using all the items that I had paid well over $800.00 to rent for free. Chairs, Tables, Tent. I was not happy about this because had something happened to those items due to Party time not picking them up I would have been held responsible but instead of asking if I was willing to let them use them with the understanding I wouldnt be held responsible they were given permission to do so. Again no communication from the company. I contacted the company yesterday to see what they could do other than crediting the lights to make this right in some way only to be told that there was nothing that could be done that the lights were already taken off and that they didnt pick up due to an tent emergency elsewhere. I understand things happen but I just wish that things were handled differently. If you are thinking of renting items I understand that The Rock Barn recommends this place but please shop around first. I will say I have found chair prices less and also tent rentals. I do intend to shop around the next time I need to rent something, If you do choose to rent here please work with Tammy she is great and really understanding but her hands are tied at what she can and cant do to take care of customers and customer service is very important to business these days...
Not a whole lot of options in the area, they were okay. Not very professional- we were told the rentals would be dropped of close to 4, and we'd be contacted with any changes. at 6pm they still hadn't been dropped off, they didn't answer my call but they did answer my husbands and he was told there was a truck breakdown. So yes, things happen and it was fine to be delivered later, but a phone call would have been nice. So we weren't at the venue when they were dropped off and didn't get to review what was left, and we were shorted a table and the sides of the tent!
We got some tables from here, prices were great, easy to pick up and return.
They had all of my party rental needs! They delivered and picked up in a timely manner.
