We had a horrible experience this week at Paul Phillips Formal Wear. The groom's pants and some groomsmen's pants were ill fitting, 2 days before the wedding. Instead of trying to fix the problem, make it right, and provide top-notch, excellent service, the owners and employees were rude, defensive, argumentative, and unhelpful. The bride was very upset and nothing was done or said to put her at ease, it was just met with defensiveness. Also, we were only renting pants and shirts, no extra accessories. $90 for a pant/shirt rental is an outrageous price. Thinking that had no other options, we did pay to rent some pieces and took them with us. That same night the bride and groom went to Carl's Tuxedo where they were treated like VIPs. Went back to Paul Phillips Formal Wear the next day and the groom and his mother was met with the same negativity, rudeness, defensiveness, and arguing. After demanding a refund, they only compromise that they could come to was splitting the difference in price. This "refund" was not refunded to the original form of credit card payment, but was refunded in cash...which is VERY odd. Also, when we paid in the first place, we were not asked to sign a credit card slip, we were just given a receipt. After receiving cash back, the owner/employee said they were only doing this IF the groom/mother promised NOT to write a bad review about them. The WHOLE situation is completely weird, unprofessional, and doesn't sit well at all with any of us. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

Honestly, do not waste your time. Over half of the groomsmen had something wrong with their tuxes. Huge stain on the pants, stain on the a vest, cuffs inside the jackets weren't sewn in and came inside out, ivory shirts were dingy and dirty, shirts had blue pen marks on them, HOLES in the pants of the groom. Just to name a few. I mean I could go on and on and I am not exaggerating. When we first got here, we were super excited about this vendor and thrilled they carried their own inventory to help with sizing issues and whatnot. I will note my best friend used them for their wedding, and had no issues but this was clearly not the case for us. The part I cannot get over is they are a dry cleaners and so many items came STAINED and very dirty. We did voice our concerns to them and they did try to make things right by offering to bring new items to the venue but at that point, we were over it. Did it ruin our day? No. The tuxes looked fine for the most part after we exchanged some pieces and just accepted the others. The tuxes themselves were nice but it was unacceptable to send dirty and stained articles of clothing home with the wedding party. For the price it cost to rent a dirty tux, you can purchase a 3 piece suit elsewhere (Mens Suit Mart).

e saw Paul Phillips at a wedding show and ordered a great package deal for the men which included jeans, shirts and vests. (We had previously rented prom tuxes which turned out great.) This wedding package was a terrific deal, very reasonably priced and the company was easy to work with. When the groom changed his mind about the jeans a week before the wedding, everyone was very accommodating. Sizes were perfect and everything was ready when needed. Definitely recommending this company.

As the mother of the bride, I have never been so embarrassed as to get the wedding party's tuxes at Paul Phillips Formal Wear. Every tux of the wedding party had something wrong with them - EVERY ONE. Granted, we had a lot of people from out-of-town and so the measurements were taken at other places, which I know can be difficult, but that is their job to make sure things work out. The father of the groom had to go back to the store three times on the wedding day!!! Ivory shirts were a dirty white, buttons were loose, vests were stained, wrong sizes from pants to shirts to vests to shoes.
I should have known when going to the store for my husband and son to be measured it was a wrong choice as returned tuxes where laying on the floor. The people that worked there were nice; however, the quality of the tuxes were horrible. I would not recommend this wedding vendor at all.

Paul Phillips was a great place to get our rentals. They were very relaxed and measured each of the guys quickly. On the day before the wedding our men went to pick up their tuxes and all of them were decent quality, although two of the guys had to switch shoes (wrong size) and one of the guys had pants that were too short. Otherwise, it was a pretty good service for a low price.

We won a gift certificate for $100 off so going with Paul Phillips Formal Wear was a no-brainer, but even without that, it is still the place we likely would have used. Since all but two of our tux wearers were from out of town, it was great to be able to just call in measurements instead of worrying about how we could get everyone there for a fitting the day before the wedding. All the guys looked great in their tuxes (though my hubby was the handsomest!)

Had a bit of a mix up at first but the owner took care of it right away. It was a great price but for cheaper tuxes there's the risks of mistakes.

Paul Phillips was wonderful to work with. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He never made us feel like a bother and really took care of us. No matter when we went in, even a month after our wedding, he always knew us by name. Paul Phillips is the best pick for your tuxedos!

I called and changed my mind on our vest/tie combination so many times! They never made me feel like I was a bother to them!

This vendor has great tuxes at fairly low prices. The only problem I had was that they were dry poor communicators. They offer lots of special services but they do not communicate how to receive those. They also have limited hours of operation.

All of the tuxes were neat and clean when picked up. Paul upgraded the shirts to a better, more breathable fabric for free! They advertise a $50 tux but is is $68 after shoes and a cleaning fee.

The guys at Paul Phillips are so great to work with, they have great tuxs at great prices. We talked with them at a bridal show and they gave us a great deal that included cleaning and preserving my dress for free! They guys all looked awesome the day of the wedding.

The tuxes for our wedding looked great and the price was great, too. We like using local businesses and Paul Phillips fit the bill. They were easy to work with and gave us a broad pick-up window for all of the tux pick-ups so they could be staggered throughout the week to make it easier for all involved. The tuxes were around $75 a piece for everything.

I was very happy with Paul Phillips and the Tuxes for the wedding. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Their prices and selection were perfect!

Good service over all. Booked at a bridal show so we saved some money. The vest were not ready when we went and picked up the tuxes and had to make several trips back for little things that could of been advoided. Getting my dress clean there also, said it would be about two months, hopefully sooner and hopefully they do good job. Overall I was happy with the tuxes and how they looked on the men. Not sure if I will ever use there service again.

they have great looking tuxes and if you rent a certain amount of tuxes you get free wedding preservation. i would recommend them again.

I have no complaints. The guys looked great, price was good, and got my gown cleaned and preserved free with my 9 tuxes rented.

the tuxes here were so cheap!! the black tuxes were only $50. i used brown for my party and they were only $80. everytime i went into the store they were so nice and helpful. i would absolutly use them again. the only bad thing is my husband and one of his groomsman's shoe broke before the wedding!! thank goodness for superglue!!!

We chose to have brown tuxedos which were twice as much as the black. My dads heel was broken on his shoe and he almost fell several times during the day. Buttons were falling off of everyones jackets, including the grooms. One shirt was yellow. Atleast two had to be taken back before the wedding because they were not fitted at all. They may be cheaper than other places but here you get what you pay for and I was very disappointed.

They were OK, good value and good tuxes, but service could have been better. There is a younger guy that works there that shouldn't be allowed to measure anyone for tuxes, he had the tape all twisted up, and that adds inches to the measurement! The older man is wonderful. There was a mix up with a little boys tux pants, and he went back and hemmed him some really quick so we wouldn't have to come back. Unfortunately, we did have to come back, as they forgot the suspenders for all 5 tuxes. No big deal, but it was a little inconvenient.
Service & Product was over $200 because we got 5 tuxes, upgraded to lighter silk shirts (outdoor wedding in may - HOT) and had to rent shoes. $80 per tux.

We didn't want our groomsmen to have to spend much on the tuxedo so we picked Paul Phillips because you could get a tuxedo for $50 (this includes everything- pants, jacket, shirt, vest, tie, shoes, everything you need!). Our groomsmen were all really excited about the price and the tuxedos look really nice. (Note- Karl's also has a cheap tuxedo, but we didn't think it looked very nice). With that said, we did have some problems. We had buttons falling off, my husband's cuff link fell apart twice, and they didn't tell me till the week of the wedding they didn't have the color of vest I wanted for the ring bearers so we had to switch them to ivory to match the groom. Even with the problems I would choose them again, because you can't beat the price and those problems seem so minor. We rented 12 tuxes total and they gave us 2 of those for free, they are going to preserve my wedding gown for free and they gave us a discount on their limo that we rented.
