Pavilion at Sunken Meadow

Having our wedding here 6/1/24 was the BEST decision. The venue is stunning and really unique, doesn't give off that "wedding catering hall" vibe at all. I loved the high ceilings, haning lights and floor to ceiling windows immediately. My husband and I are beach people as well so it was a no brainer for us. Our guests were raving about this hidden gem! So many great pictures at sunset. We communicated with Tarek throughout the planning process and he was beyond helpful and put any of my worries to rest. He was very responsive to emails and calls. He had a few special request that he accommodated with no problem. The day of we had Sabrina as our Bridal Attendant and she was AMAZING! Super attentive and practically read our minds all day and she's just a lovely person. Cocktail hour and reception food was incredible from Chef Ethan. They boxed up some cocktail food for us for the next day so it was nice not having to cook the day between the wedding and our honeymoon. Everything went off without a single hitch. You won't regret having your wedding here!

I got married at the pavilion on 9/13/24 and it was beyond amazing!! Tarek was beyond patient with my hundreds of questions from start to finish and the matte’s anthony and bridal assistant cici for the wedding day went above and beyond for us! Our guests raved about the scenery, food and service! I would highly recommend getting married here! 😊

Guests: 165 Tables: 16 Date: August 2024 Weather: Sunny and 80s The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, their communication was prompt, friendly, and informative, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. We used the Lessings package which made the coordination of all vendors so easy and everyone was wonderful. We really think the package is a great value for the money and would highly recommend others go that route to save both money and time in the planning process. On the day of, the venue's staff provided exceptional service, especially Anthony the maitre d', Cece the bridal attendant, and Maureen the coordinator. They were incredibly accommodating and helped ensure everything ran smoothly, from the beautiful beachfront ceremony to the delicious and plentiful dinner. We had approximately 165 people (16 tables) and fit very comfortably for dinner in the dining room. We were initially concerned about the size of the space but we easily could have fit several more tables in the dining room. We had the DJ and dancing under the large tent and there was plenty of space and the fans / sea breeze kept it perfectly cool. The overall vibe of the venue is understated and elegant. So many guests complimented the beauty of the venue. We offered to-go pizza at the end which was also a huge hit! We are so grateful to the team at The Pavilion for helping make our special day truly unforgettable. We would highly recommend anyone else to have their wedding here!

I want to start by saying that this venue, food and staff were by far beyond my expectations. Even as a crazy bride 😊. Tarek, made me and my husband feel at ease with the whole entire wedding planning process. He held our hand every step of the way and made it really simple for us. I know a lot of reception managers will promise you the world and not deliver. Not Tarek, he made every single thing come true and then some. The day before I met with my Matre’d Anthony. It is unbelievable the passion he shows for these events. What an incredible person. He walked through the entire process and crazy little details I wanted with me and my husband. Somehow all of my day before nerves were calmed and I knew he had everything under control. Then the morning of I met my Bridal Attendant, Sabrina, all I have to say is “I love her!” Because of her help and attention to details, I did not have one bit of stress. She dealt with the photographer for me, the videographer, my family and all other vendors making sure everyone was where they needed to be. While also steaming my dress, water my flowers, getting me drinks and food and all of the other behind the scenes stuff she had on her plate. But never once showed that she was overwhelmed. All I have to say is all of the people mentioned above were phenomenal. Now to the venue, all I have to say is WOW. The view, the food, the staff, this place is definitely a gem. Do not judge this place based on their website. It does not do it justice at all. I can guarantee your guest will leave in awe of The Pavilion. Book it Now, you will not regret it!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about The Pavilion Sunken Meadow. The staff's communication was unmatched. Tarek and the team answered every single one of our questions that came up over the planning months and were dedicated to helping us achieve our vision on the wedding day. I am especially grateful because we did things a little different than most weddings. Almost anything that I wanted, was met with "you got it". I could feel the level of intention and care that the team had for my special day. We did our ceremony on the boardwalk, then cocktail hour under the tent, then we had our wedding and dance floor in the main room. After sitting down to order dinner, guests were entertained by the speeches and the groom serenaded the bride with 2 songs. Everyone loved this! Then, everyone ate dinner and then danced the night away! Truly, my pinterest board came to life. It was the most romantic candle-lit dinner. Everything felt professional. The food was exceptional. The bartenders were fast and the drinks were strong! We planned our wedding from the West Coast and didn't tour the venue until a few days before the wedding! Lol! My mother in law, who is from long island, toured it with us over facetime. I appreciated that the venue package included food/drinks/ napkins/ wedding cake/ and even had packages for flowers and DJ if we wanted. Trust me, you have enough things to plan and worry about, you don't want to have to buy things like linens. They even have a white aisle and a few arches you can choose from for your ceremony. We felt that this made it a lot easier with planning. Everything ran smoothly and I accredit that to the amazing staff at Pavilion Sunken Meadow. My wedding was the peak of my life. I will be processing this night forever!!! Last thing I'll say is that that I'm not a typical Long Island bride. I'm from the west coast and felt gravitated toward something that WASN'T a big classic ballroom with chandeliers. What I loved about this venue was the dunes and the trees and the big windows that allowed the sunset to pour in. I loved that it felt slightly rustic, without feeling like a barn. I could not have asked for a more seamless and wonderful experience at the Pavilion. Right from the first time I saw the venue in person and met Tarek, I knew this was the place for my wedding. Tarek was so professional and accommodating throughout the entire process, with both me and my family. When he says "Anything you want", he really means it! I got everything I wanted and more. The staff was absolutely amazing, Anthony and Sabrina ensured that my day went smoothly and were SO helpful and attentive throughout the night. Sabrina was so thoughtful of my needs and even anticipated things without me even asking. All my guests enjoyed the stunning backdrop of the ocean, it truly could not be more beautiful. I would do it all over again if I could!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow on 7/6/24 and we cannot say enough incredible things about this venue. From our initial tour of the venue to our wedding day, Tarek was there to address every question and concern and to make sure the planning process was going smoothly. We did the package (which included the DJ, photographer, florist, transportation, and cake) which made planning so much easier and we and were so happy with each and every vendor. On the actual wedding day, Sabrina (our bridal attendant) and Anthony (our maitre d') took care of us completely. Sabrina did everything from serving lunch in the bridal suite, to finding and setting up a speaker for getting ready music, to helping me with my (complicated) bustle, to getting my new-husband and I hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail our in the bridal suite immediately after the ceremony, to making sure we actually ate our dinners during the reception, and so so much more. Anthony made sure the entire event ran smoothly and was there for us with whatever we (and our families) needed. The venue itself was beyond beautiful. We absolutely loved our beachfront ceremony and the floor-to-ceiling windows that gave us incredible views of the Long Island Sound all night. Our guests loved being able to make use of the outdoor boardwalk area throughout the reception. The food from the cocktail hour and the main dinner were both so good (and we got compliments from our guests about how good the food was)! If you are looking for a beautiful and unique wedding venue on Long Island, look no further than the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow!

We just had our wedding on 6/29/24 and we couldn’t be happier with everything at the Pavilion. We had attended a wedding there in 2017 and when we got engaged it was our top choice for the more laid back, party approach to the wedding we wanted. Tarek was so great to work with, answering every email and phone call and fully understood our vision for a day with few formalities but a focus on all of our friends and family enjoying themselves. The staff at the pavilion were all wonderful and were hard at work putting everything together when we arrived. Sabrina was an absolutely amazing bridal attendant as well as our Maitre D. Everything ran smoothly the whole night. We chose to do the lounge style wedding and the variety of food choices was wonderful! We were truly so happy with our decision to get married at the Pavilion and if anyone is looking for a beach wedding on Long Island look no further. You will be in great hands!

The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow park is a beautiful venue! We had our ceremony on the beach, followed by a cocktail hour/dancing outdoors and dinner in the pavilion on the boardwalk. While planning the wedding, Tarek was always willing to answer our questions/concerns. He followed through on any promises he made us which we greatly appreciated. The day of the wedding went smoothly. Sabrina the bridal attendant was WONDERFUL. She helped us with anything we needed with a big smile on her face. Chef Ethan cooked all of our food which was delicious. The venue had many options to choose from but we went with a lemon chicken, salmon, and a filet. Guests loved the choices and quality of the food. We were really able to customize the day and make it special to meet our needs and wants. Dave & Anthony were our Matri'ds who made sure everything went as planned. We truly had an amazing day!

This venue and the staff is amazing! Tarek was fantastic and answered any questions I had right away. The food was amazing I was so happy they made us to go boxes! Carl was amazing as well and was able to help with anything myself or my husband needed! I would recommend having your event here!

We just had our wedding at The Pavilion on Saturday 10/7/23. It was beyond amazing, between the staff, the food and the flexibility, we had the most wonderful time! We fell in love with the room as soon as we walked in when we booked in July 2022, with the beautiful views of the ocean, the option for outdoor ceremony and the reputation of Lessing's for having amazing staff and food. We chose the vendor package as it had highly recommended vendors who have all worked together before with the staff at The Pavilion, and that made the day run so smoothly! Tarek we met on day one and from there on he has been so accommodating and easy to work with. He answered so many of my emails and questions in quick timing and was always helpful with information. The days leading up to the wedding he was frequently available for me to contact with any last minute concerns. Day of we had to make a decision for the weather and we had until 3pm (530 ceremony) to decide about having the ceremony indoors. I was so happy to have this option as my original plan was for outdoors but the wind/rain kept us inside. Let me tell you though the staff made the room turn around so quick and we had the most beautiful wedding indoors with the background of the beach behind us through the gorgeous windows. We were easily able to fit the 135 guests indoors for ceremony, then under the tent for cocktail and then back inside for dinner and dancing! Plenty of room! Carl was our maitre d and was so wonderful and constantly checking in on us and keeping us all together and on time! We had a day of coordinator and it seems they all worked well together with Carl and Sabrina. He was so accommodating when I asked if we could do family photos inside during cocktail hour before the room was finished being turned around. I was so grateful for that since we couldn't do them outside. Dinner service was great and timely, everyone raved about the food (Lessing's has amazing food!!) and the cake cutting was awesome and served quickly (and didn't interrupt the dance party!) Sabrina was my bridal attendant and she was fabulous! Always making sure I, my husband and my bridal party were feeling good. She was so on top of everything, even helping bustle my dress more than once! We always had food and drinks (from Carl too!) and she made sure we took some food and cake home at the end of the night. She kept the bridal suite neat and even steamed my dress before we started! It was wonderful and both her and Carl were very on top of everything, it put a lot of my anxiety at ease. All of the staff was professional and helpful, holding umbrellas as we went out for first look and keeping the room looking beautiful. The guests raved about the bar service, cocktail hour and dinner. If you want a beautiful venue that has a perfect rain back up plan and still looks amazing (though getting married on the beach was the goal!) you should choose this venue. Tarek, Carl and Sabrina were fabulous people to work with and my husband and I are so grateful for a wonderful evening.

Tarek and the pavilion staff were perfection for our wedding day. Tarek (one of the major reasons we went with this venue) was responsive, informative, and went the extra mile to ensure we had no reservations and were comfortable with what to expect on the day: including Dave the magician who was a huge hit. The venue has multiple options for weather accommodations. Several guests complimented the food and the bar service which was quick and efficient. The vendors we used were familiar with the venue and very professional. Would have another event here in a heart beat.

There are no words!! My husband and I will never be able to say enough to express our gratitude to Tarek and his entire team at the Pavilion. The venue itself is gorgeous (we knew immediately upon touring that we wanted to book it), but through this amazing experience I have learned that the people are even more important than the place. Our wedding planning process was exceptionally smooth and painless - for months, I was no where near as stress as some friends/family expected me to be, all thanks to Tarek’s expertise and guidance! His easygoing nature yet utmost professionalism gave us total confidence in him from the get-go, and he was always in our corner to offer support whenever we needed it. On the day-off, I was calmer than ever, knowing we were in the best possible hands! Everything was executed in the most beautiful and perfect way, and we couldn’t stop gushing at the end of the night about how it went off without a single hitch. Josh (our maitre d) and Sabrina (the bridal attendant) took such good care of us and led us seamlessly through the days events in an organized but still comforting fashion. The rest of the staff was awesome and attentive, too - not only to us, but to our guests as well, several of whom said as much themselves. The entire night, we received additional compliments on the location, food, DJ (Tarek’s recommendation), hospitality, etc. Above all, however, we were thrilled with how it turned out. It was truly the wedding of our dreams and it could not have happened without the folks at the Pavilion! They are absolute pros, running a well-oiled machine of an operation, and setting the stage for the most magical moments. The beautiful work they do makes a profound difference in the lives of their customers, and we are so fortunate to be able to look back on our wedding day with nothing but joy and appreciation!

What an outstanding event. Tarek was friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. He made our special day come together with no stress. The staff the day of was nothing short of amazing. Sabrina and Josh were on top of everything. They were one step a head of us the entire time and were a pleasure to work with. We received nothing but compliments from our guests. They could not believe how beautiful the venue was, how wonderful the staff was, and how great the food taste. Tarek, and all the staff... I recently had the pleasure of hosting my dream wedding at the most beautiful beachside location, and I can't express enough how incredible the experience was. From start to finish, the management and staff went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was absolutely perfect. First and foremost, the location itself was simply breathtaking. The stunning views of the beach and the sparkling ocean created an enchanting backdrop for our ceremony.
