She always made sure we had a drink in our hand and had plenty of food. The security guard was also amazing. He followed me around with water as it was a hot day and made sure that no park guests were in our photos. The food was absolutely delicious and safe for me to eat! Having both the indoor and outdoor options made it so there is an option for all. The staff really made our vision come to life and we can’t thank them enough. This venue is soooo slept on and it deserves more attention!

They are always available to answer questions and help, and it really made wedding planning a breeze. They are also very easy and flexible to help with any requests, which was very nice. The maître d’, Anthony, was absolutely amazing to both my husband and me. He really made the day of the wedding the easiest day! Anything we needed, he was there (he really helped us with the score of the Met game). Sabrina, the bridal attendant, also was absolutely amazing. She really made that day amazing too. Anything I needed, she already had it ready to go for me, like she knew what I was thinking. She was beyond kind and just a fun person to be around to destress everything. The whole staff at the Pavilion are also top tier. Everyone there is beyond kind and also very helpful. The Pavilion is a beautiful location and again cannot recommend more!

during the scheduling/preliminary planning of our event; Anthony, who worked our tasting, met with me the day before and coordinated the day of; and Sabrina, the most attentive and kind bridal attendant, as well as all of the staff/servers/bartenders at the pavilion were absolutely incredible. I 100% recommend booking this venue.  We opted for the vendor package for our event and booked the below vendors who were equally as incredible.  For our cake we used batter up bakery, the staff was wonderful, the process was seamless, and the cake was perfect. We went for a tasting about 3-4 months out, made our selection, and the cake was delivered directly to the venue on the day of. Our guests loved it out and even inquired about where our cake was from following the event. They also gave us a gift certificate to get a small cake on our 1 year anniversary, which I thought was a very special touch. For photography we used Park Ave Studio and Brian was the photographer who covered our event. I chatted with Brian in the days leading up to the event and he was great. We had about an hour and a half between our ceremony & reception, and Brian was able to take some photos of us at the ceremony location & lots of photos of us and our families/wedding party at the venue. Brian was incredibly friendly & was working very fast, I am so excited to see the photos. The turn around time for photos following the wedding was relatively quick, and we were thrilled with the photos Brian captured. For the flowers, we used Dalsimer Spitz and Peck Florist, our first meeting was conducted via phone so it was a bit difficult to communicate exactly what I was looking for, our second meeting was in person and they had set up a sample center piece. I didn’t completely love the potential centerpiece but the staff was incredible and worked with me to modify it to fit my vision. The flowers on the day of were perfect and exactly what I wanted. I loved my bouquet so much I  made the last minute decision to have it preserved. I using Hudson stems to have the bouquet preserved.  For transportation we used Mark of Elegance, my now husband did a majority of the coordinating before hand but seemed to have no issues. We did upgrade to add on a 55 person shuttle bus which brought guests from the hotel, to the ceremony, to the reception, and back to the hotel at the close of the night. The limo driver (included in the package) and the shuttle bus driver were absolutely lovely & incredible to work with! I was running behind at the end of the night and they waited at the venue for me. For music, we used fourth generation. As there are a few options for DJs in the vendor package I inquired with two, but after meeting with Jenn for the first time, fourth generation was the easy choice. We did upgrade from the base package to include the upgraded (white) sound system and an MC. Working with fourth generation was simple every step of the way and the MC/DJ were incredible, they kept the dance floor lively right to the end!

Our bridal attendant, Sabrina, was an absolute angel. She made sure we were fed, hydrated, and comfortable all day. Her attentiveness and warm energy was so nice through all the chaos of the wedding day. We are beyond grateful to The Pavilion team for helping us create a day that was beautiful, seamless, and unforgettable. If you're considering this venue, do it. It was everything we dreamed of and more.

n spin on our wedding so it was even better when The Pavilion allowed us to DIY as much as we wanted. The Ballroom is great and we loved the outside tent area! Guests have the option to be comfortable inside and outside. General Manager, Tarek Mostafa is a complete gentleman and guides you through the whole process, making himself available to you whenever you have a question. Maitre d' Anthony was amazing and has an incredible personality! He is sure to make you and your guests smile and feel incredibly comfortable during the whole wedding. Bridal Attendant Sabrina was also fantastic and has a great personality. She made everything so wonderful in the bridal suite and was there the whole way through to help with any bridal needs. Lastly, The food is great! and we heard nothing but positive reviews from our guests about the food, the service , the ceremony and most importantly the amazing atmosphere! It was such a beautiful experience and we would recommend The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow for anyone who’s looking for a rustic beach vibe with great staff and amazing food! Wish we could do it all over again!

I am a very Type A person and Tarek was always there to answer any and all of my questions and walk me through everything. He knew that I was stressed and overwhelmed about planning a wedding in 4 months but he assured me that he could help with every detail and he really did come through. There was no need to hire a wedding planner/coordinator and I appreciated that so much. He also had such great vendor recommendations! Anthony, our Maître D’ was there to ensure everything was perfect for our big day. We met with him beforehand to go over timelines, decor, and all of the other details for the day of. The decor that he set up was exactly as I was expecting, and it looked beautiful. I was so pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went the entire day. He was so outgoing and funny and had us laughing all night long. Anthony was always there to make sure everyone was having a great time. Our guests also loved him and said how amazing he was. He even helped my grandpa when he had cut his arm. Anthony and his team helped break down all of the decor at the end of the night and packed everything up so nicely. He even helped us load it in our car when we came to pick everything up a few days later! Sabrina, our bridal attendant, was nothing short of amazing. She was always there anytime we needed something. She made sure that we were fed and even took it upon herself to bring us food in the bridal suite during cocktail hour and sent us home with some of the other food that we didn’t get a chance to eat. She was there to hype me up, fix my dress, calm my nerves, hold my bouquet, and always made sure that we had a drink in our hand. She helped me with my bustle and even found clothes pins to pin up my dress when I was tripping over it. Tarek, Anthony, and Sabrina are true professionals and are amazing at what they do. My husband and I are so grateful that they handled everything so that we were able to be present and thoroughly enjoy each moment of our wedding. The venue and the beachfront views speak for themselves- especially during sunset. I loved how there were many different areas for our guests to enjoy- the beach, the boardwalk, under the tent, and inside of the building. I was initially a little worried about privacy and having our wedding at a public park on a beautiful Saturday night in May. There was no need to worry because they had the venue roped off from patrons and a security guard to ensure that no one was crossing the ropes or were too close to our ceremony space on the beach. It ended up being the most beautiful beach ceremony and everything felt so private and intimate. To top it all off, the food was absolutely amazing and every single item that we had from the cocktail hour to the reception was delicious and all of our guests raved about it. The food honestly exceeded our expectations. Overall, we are so happy that we chose the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow for our wedding. It was the most perfect start to our forever and we just wish that we could relive this amazing day!

She has since been promoted to a different position and we worked with Maureen for the remainder of our time until the wedding. Maureen was also amazing, helpful and squared away final details with us. The day of the wedding was so smooth. I had my bridal attendant, Ceecee, and my maitre’d, Anthony, who were both wonderful and made us feel taken care of. I didn’t stress about a single thing and because of this, we were actually able to live in the moment and enjoy our day to the fullest. We didn’t have much experience going to the bar to get drinks, but everyone raved about how great Ella was. Our guests loved the food, the fan favorite being the fillet mignon. The day of was 70 degrees, sunny and not too hot, not windy and the beach ceremony was picture perfect; we were so lucky. The day after we went to pick up our decor and spoke to the general manager, Tarek. We had a great conversation gleaming about our experience. We’ll recommend the pavilion over and over again!!

The staff is the best!! Emily was our coordinator when we initially booked the venue then Maureen took over for her after. Both were so helpful and wonderful with the process. The day of our wedding was literally unbelievably perfect and we owe it to our staff, our Maitre’D Anthony and our bridal attendant Sabrina. They made sure we were always happy, we were content, we had what we needed. They surely made the day go smoothly AND we had the time of our lives! When we were ready to kick back and finally relax LOL they had the drinks coming! The decorations were set up exactly how we imagined, it was perfect! Everyone was so helpful and they even had fun which makes me happy! They rock! I recommend them to EVERYONE who gets married here. The venue we fell in love with when we first saw it. The beautiful big windows that you can see everybody outside and around. The awesome view of the sound, getting married on the beach was our dream and it happened! Thankfully, the weather held up till late at night. That’s one thing you can’t change the weather! Just roll with it if you are getting married here. Don’t check the weather lol. It all worked out perfectly! The food was delicious and the whole start to finish was just a dream that came to life. I cannot rave enough about how amazing the Pavilion is and it’s staff. They also have a package deal which was awesome! You add on whatever you want to add on, but it comes with a good amount of things which I do recommend. The absolute best day of our lives!

I was a DIY-bride, and any questions I had about decor (or just anything in general), they were able to answer swiftly and effectively. They helped us navigate the Lessings Package, and make it work for our individual needs. I can’t thank them enough for keeping me and my now husband level-headed during those months of chaos. When we met Anthony, our Maitre D’, we were able to relax about a lot of things that were stressing us out. He instantly gave off an energy that said “I got this, I got you, everything is going to be perfect.” And it was! I went through my decor instructions with him, and he understood everything I was going for. During our vows, I mentioned a story about rose petals on the ground when my husband proposed to me. Anthony listened to that, and handed out extra rose petals to our wedding party to throw in the air when we made our grand entrance at the reception. It made for such a beautiful moment, and we got to do our first dance surrounded by beautiful petals on the ground. Anthony is truly in this business because he cares about the people; he felt like a friend to both of us the whole time. Our bridal attendant, Sabrina, was truly a class-act. She was there whenever we needed her, and made sure both of us always had a drink or something to eat. She helped with everything from getting my husband and I a private moment together after the ceremony, to helping me get sand out of my shoes (which was so, so appreciated!) She kept reassuring me that everything was going exactly how it was supposed to be going, and she helped me relax on a day when my anxiety as a Type-A person was through the roof. She made sure that we had a great time and didn’t think about anything other than celebrating. Truly a professional in every sense of the word. Finally, the venue staff as a whole. Every single person at the Pavilion, (waitstaff, kitchen, bartenders, anyone who helped set up decor, any person who worked there in any way on our day) made sure that we had the best damn wedding anyone in our families had ever been to. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were excellent and ever-flowing, and everything looked just perfect. We were very fortunate to have perfect weather on our day, but I can’t help but think that even if we had a storm, the staff would have made sure we had a perfect indoor wedding. The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow is a magical place. Brian and I would recommend it to anyone getting married any time soon.

So many great pictures at sunset. We communicated with Tarek throughout the planning process and he was beyond helpful and put any of my worries to rest. He was very responsive to emails and calls. He had a few special request that he accommodated with no problem. The day of we had Sabrina as our Bridal Attendant and she was AMAZING! Super attentive and practically read our minds all day and she's just a lovely person. Cocktail hour and reception food was incredible from Chef Ethan. They boxed up some cocktail food for us for the next day so it was nice not having to cook the day between the wedding and our honeymoon. Everything went off without a single hitch. You won't regret having your wedding here!

We really think the package is a great value for the money and would highly recommend others go that route to save both money and time in the planning process. On the day of, the venue's staff provided exceptional service, especially Anthony the maitre d', Cece the bridal attendant, and Maureen the coordinator. They were incredibly accommodating and helped ensure everything ran smoothly, from the beautiful beachfront ceremony to the delicious and plentiful dinner. We had approximately 165 people (16 tables) and fit very comfortably for dinner in the dining room. We were initially concerned about the size of the space but we easily could have fit several more tables in the dining room. We had the DJ and dancing under the large tent and there was plenty of space and the fans / sea breeze kept it perfectly cool. The overall vibe of the venue is understated and elegant. So many guests complimented the beauty of the venue. We offered to-go pizza at the end which was also a huge hit! We are so grateful to the team at The Pavilion for helping make our special day truly unforgettable. We would highly recommend anyone else to have their wedding here!

Not Tarek, he made every single thing come true and then some. The day before I met with my Matre’d Anthony. It is unbelievable the passion he shows for these events. What an incredible person. He walked through the entire process and crazy little details I wanted with me and my husband. Somehow all of my day before nerves were calmed and I knew he had everything under control. Then the morning of I met my Bridal Attendant, Sabrina, all I have to say is “I love her!” Because of her help and attention to details, I did not have one bit of stress. She dealt with the photographer for me, the videographer, my family and all other vendors making sure everyone was where they needed to be. While also steaming my dress, water my flowers, getting me drinks and food and all of the other behind the scenes stuff she had on her plate. But never once showed that she was overwhelmed. All I have to say is all of the people mentioned above were phenomenal. Now to the venue, all I have to say is WOW. The view, the food, the staff, this place is definitely a gem. Do not judge this place based on their website. It does not do it justice at all. I can guarantee your guest will leave in awe of The Pavilion. Book it Now, you will not regret it!!!!

p over the planning months and were dedicated to helping us achieve our vision on the wedding day. I am especially grateful because we did things a little different than most weddings. Almost anything that I wanted, was met with "you got it". I could feel the level of intention and care that the team had for my special day. We did our ceremony on the boardwalk, then cocktail hour under the tent, then we had our wedding and dance floor in the main room. After sitting down to order dinner, guests were entertained by the speeches and the groom serenaded the bride with 2 songs. Everyone loved this! Then, everyone ate dinner and then danced the night away! Truly, my pinterest board came to life. It was the most romantic candle-lit dinner. Everything felt professional. The food was exceptional. The bartenders were fast and the drinks were strong! We planned our wedding from the West Coast and didn't tour the venue until a few days before the wedding! Lol! My mother in law, who is from long island, toured it with us over facetime. I appreciated that the venue package included food/drinks/ napkins/ wedding cake/ and even had packages for flowers and DJ if we wanted. Trust me, you have enough things to plan and worry about, you don't want to have to buy things like linens. They even have a white aisle and a few arches you can choose from for your ceremony. We felt that this made it a lot easier with planning. Everything ran smoothly and I accredit that to the amazing staff at Pavilion Sunken Meadow. My wedding was the peak of my life. I will be processing this night forever!!! Last thing I'll say is that that I'm not a typical Long Island bride. I'm from the west coast and felt gravitated toward something that WASN'T a big classic ballroom with chandeliers. What I loved about this venue was the dunes and the trees and the big windows that allowed the sunset to pour in. I loved that it felt slightly rustic, without feeling like a barn. Sabrina did everything from serving lunch in the bridal suite, to finding and setting up a speaker for getting ready music, to helping me with my (complicated) bustle, to getting my new-husband and I hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail our in the bridal suite immediately after the ceremony, to making sure we actually ate our dinners during the reception, and so so much more. Anthony made sure the entire event ran smoothly and was there for us with whatever we (and our families) needed. The venue itself was beyond beautiful. We absolutely loved our beachfront ceremony and the floor-to-ceiling windows that gave us incredible views of the Long Island Sound all night. Our guests loved being able to make use of the outdoor boardwalk area throughout the reception. The food from the cocktail hour and the main dinner were both so good (and we got compliments from our guests about how good the food was)! Tarek was so great to work with, answering every email and phone call and fully understood our vision for a day with few formalities but a focus on all of our friends and family enjoying themselves. The staff at the pavilion were all wonderful and were hard at work putting everything together when we arrived. Sabrina was an absolutely amazing bridal attendant as well as our Maitre D. Everything ran smoothly the whole night. We chose to do the lounge style wedding and the variety of food choices was wonderful! We were truly so happy with our decision to get married at the Pavilion and if anyone is looking for a beach wedding on Long Island look no further. You will be in great hands!

Chef Ethan cooked all of our food which was delicious. The venue had many options to choose from but we went with a lemon chicken, salmon, and a filet. Guests loved the choices and quality of the food. We were really able to customize the day and make it special to meet our needs and wants.
