I cannot recommend James and PB&DJ enough! He was prompt and professional in his responses and always made sure to make himself available to answer all my questions. He had awesome recommendations for songs when I had some doubts. And the most rousing recommendation: at our wedding I had multiple guests tell me how good the music was. Not only did PB&DJ provide my music, they also did the lighting and photobooth which really brought the night together perfectly. And, since I had a COVID wedding, James was so so so flexible with last minute changes. I loved having them DJ our wedding!!

We absolutely LOVED them!! James was the best! From the first conversation we had to the day of the wedding he listened to what we wanted and he executed it perfectly! We definitely will be using them again in the future for any big events we may have. Thank you PB&DJ and James!!

I found James and PB&DJ on my venues preferred vendor list. We booked services for a DJ, and a photo booth, but really received so much more. James was always available when I need to get ahold of him, whether it was by phone or email. We made a special remix request for the Father/Daughter dance and he created exactly what we asked for (and we asked for it very last minute!). We also made a special request for the photo booth layout to match the design on our wedding invitations last minute and the design James was able to incorporate was perfect! Our DJ was Walt, and our photo booth attendant was Kyle. They both showed up plenty early to set up all the equipment to provide sound sound/mic for our officiant, to have speakers in the dining area so guests could hear music as they were eating, as well as the dj booth/ photo booth in the dance floor area. We received so many compliments throughout the night about how great and fun our DJ was. I had multiple people tell me ours was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Walt respected our wishes for the type of music we wanted played while managing to fill the crazy requests from our guests. I would highly recommend James, Walt, and PB&DJ to anyone looking for incredible service, that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg.

We had such a great experience with James and PB&DJ for our wedding. Took the time to go over all the details and make sure it was exactly what we wanted. His white dance floor was beautiful and we loved the lighting and custom monogram. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

James really took care of us for our wedding! We got a package with wall lighting, ceiling drapery, a photo booth, and great music! He made sure that we had everything we needed for our celebration from microphones to sound equipment and everything! The sound was great! Loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to have a conversation with your guests! I highly recommend PB&DJ

These wonderful people took care of my wedding. I pretty much used all of their many services. DJ, photo booth, lighting, draping and linen service. James went all out to make my wedding beautiful. James was great to work with. He was patient and very quick to respond to my questions thoughout the process. He really outdid himself taking my vague ideas and making it gorgeous! James was awesome! Our reception went so smoothly and was a ton of fun. We gave him a list of music that we wanted played, but told him if he got a vibe of what was getting people on the dance floor to go with that and that's exactly what he did. Everyone had a blast!

We hired PB&DJ Productions for our wedding in February and they did not disappoint! They did the music, the dance floor, lighting, and photo booth with a custom photo strip. Every single bit was perfect! James was very helpful and responsive in the planning process. He let us lead the way, but he gave great advice where we needed it. Day of, my now-husband and I arrived to a fully set up BEAUTIFUL space. It was exactly what we wanted: a monogrammed gobo light projected onto the white dance with light pink uplights throughout the entire tent (just to provide a mental image!). The DJ kept our guests dancing all night long. We are so grateful we went with this company. If you're looking for a stress free experience, I would definitely go with PB&DJ Productions.

PB&DJ did a phenomenal job for my sisters wedding. Our family is very traditional and pleasing them with music can be very hard but everyone dance all night long. Every single person enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend PB&DJ for your entertainment needs.

I used PB&DJ productions for my wedding back in April and I'm so happy I did. This isn't just a DJ company. They can do it all. We used their DJ services, photo booth, and design services. We did not get the videography package and we are so mad we didn't. Always get the videography. You miss so much. I worked with James (the owner) directly and about a month before the wedding, I was in constant communication with him. I knew that I wanted something added to the ballroom to give it a softer look but really didn't know how to do it. I told James and he brought my vision to life with sheer curtains draped elegantly across the ceiling through the chandeliers. It was exactly what I wanted. He will sit down with you and go over all the songs you want played (or don't want played) but you don't even really need to do that. Let him do his thing. You won't be disappointed! He will even sit down with your family members who want to do toasts with music and work with them to coordinate. It was awesome. If you're looking for a DJ (or pretty much anything else), stop right here. You won't be sorry.

I first encountered the PBDJ Team as a MOH at a friend's wedding. I really loved their MC skills and decided to book for my own wedding. My husband and I knew our date so far in advance (we were the first on their calendar for 2017) that they gave us a wonderful discount. We also made a bold move to go with the photobooth-- a really cool inflatable thing with a background that James, the owner and a DJ, customized for us at our face-to-face session. The team at PBDJ, in particular James, are wonderful and really made our wedding even better than it was. I cannot thank them enough!

Fantastic DJ! We went with PB&DJ because he came to us highly recommended from our coordinator at Haak winery. He created a playlist that got all of our guest on the dance floor and having a good time the entire evening. He also was able to accommodate bringing the setup equipment for the band that played during our ceremony and our non-traditional processional music. Additionally, our first dance song was something that is not on iTunes or Spotify - he was able accommodate it no problem!

PB&DJ were amazing! The only time our guests left the dance floor was to visit the amazing photo booth! From the first meeting we knew we were in good hands.

PB&DJ was amazing! They played everything that we had requested and did a fabulous job on the uplighting and monogram light. We also had the photobooth which was a huge hit with the guests. They also gave us a book at the end of the night with all the photos takes in the photobooth and the guests were able to write messages in it. It is such a special keepsake and me and my husband love looking at it and seeing all of our family and friends.

PB&DJ was incredible to work with! James was very professional, responsive, and personable. At our wedding he was very helpful and tried to make sure that everything on our timeline was completed. He also did such a great job at getting everyone's attention, which can be very hard to do! The music was perfect and kept the crowd dancing! You could tell that everyone was having an amazing time. The photo booth was awesome! Everyone loved that more than 2-4 people could fit in the pictures and they had a blast with the props. I am very thankful to James as he was able to use one of our engagement pictures as the template for our photo booth pictures. It was perfect! Thank you again, PB&DJ! PB & DJ were one of the easiest and best vendors that we worked with. James is very responsive and did an amazing job at our wedding. I trusted him to come up with a timeline for events, song choices and what color to do the up lights and he did not disappoint! He played a variety of songs to fit the crowd and everyone had a blast! We also had a photobooth and the attendant was amazing and he also gave us the photobook that night!! I would highly recommend them as they are an affordable and amazing! We could never thank you enough James.

We used PB&DJ for the dj services, lighting and photobooth. We found them through the Bridal Extravaganza and decided to go with them because one of their packages had a good value for the dj services, lighting and photobooth. We really liked their design of the inflatable photobooth because we have not seen one like it before and the fact that the photobooth comes with an album that guests can write messages next to the printed photo. The music played at the reception was great and included the current hits but it was not necessarily what was listed on our list of "songs to play". The photobooth attendant was incredible. He seemed friendly and extremely patient even amongst some of our friends who had a little too much to drink. Two things that were important to us and that accounted for this review: their responsiveness to phonecalls and emails and the charges for and extra hour. Many times our wedding coordinator was unable to get a response from them leading up to the wedding and they took a few days to return phone calls. We initially only signed up for dj services for 4 hours but needed to add additional time for the ceremony. But those additional hours quickly added up and we found it to be quite expensive for them to play just for the 15 minute ceremony and to play prerecorded playlists for the cocktail hour and seated dinner.

Everything was GREAT! Our DJ for our Halloween wedding was Reggie and he did a fantastic job! I was particular about the song and timing for my ceremony entrance, and it was flawless. During the reception, my guests had such a good time and everyone kept commenting on how great the music was. Thank you so much Reggie and James for being a part of our unforgettable night!

We had such an awesome time at our wedding and all of our guest had nothing but great things to say. We had so many people tell us that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding! We used this company as part of our package with our wedding venue. They did a very good job. We met briefly with the owner at the venue open house, and then submitted the paperwork about what all we wanted a couple of weeks before the ceremony. The owner called me the week of the wedding to go over everything. Overall our DJ did a good job. He kept the flow of the reception going and played fun music. There was a little too much older music for my taste, but that might have been my fault when I put a few older songs on the paperwork to give him ideas of the type of music I wanted. But as soon as I said something to the DJ at the reception, no problem the music changed. I would highly recommend this company to service your DJ needs. They also can do a photobooth which we didn't opt for.

PB&DJ made our night memorable. Aside from the DJ we also got the photobooth, which was a HIT! The music was perfect and they kept the party going until the last minute. I had completely forgotten to tell them what I wanted played during the cocktail hour but they got it right without me telling them. Before we headed out, the DJ and photobooth attendant grabbed me and my husband and we all took pics in the photobooth. I would DEFINITELY recommend them!! You will not be disappointed!

My wedding was in November 2014, for the most part it was perfect. The only hiccups I had were with Jason at PB&J DJ. I recommended this company to my best friend who had her wedding 3 weeks prior to mine because I read all the great reviews. I’m not going to get into what happened at her wedding but I was warned and I experienced it since I was in the bridal party. So for my wedding I made sure that Jason was the DJ, I made sure he had my song list, and I made sure he received my emails. For a company whose clients are mainly brides/grooms I would have guessed Jason would know how weddings go. First off, during the reception my mom asked him to put our slideshow up. He said he knew nothing about it, I told my mom it was on the “information sheet he had me fill out and I sent it to him,” he looks at his sheet and his response is “OH.” That proves to me he didn’t even look at it. The countless hours my mom and mother in law spent on our slideshow was a waste because Jason was unable to put it up on the projector screen (should have prepared for this before the ceremony). Second, my husband and I spent a good amount of money on dance lessons for our first dance. My husband practiced so much; we had turns and a dip at the end (would have been perfect for pictures and our video). I have no idea why but Jason took it upon himself to cut off our song while we were still dancing. I would understand if bride/groom specifically tells you to turn it off half way through, but nope the song was still going and everyone was waiting for the finale. My husband was pissed. For someone to cater to weddings, I felt he should have known you NEVER cut off a couples first dance song. He took that moment away from my husband and me. On a positive note he did play songs from our list and the photo booth was a hit!

James was very helpful in responding to multiple questions I had prior to the ceremony. We had so many special things to include in our reception and the DJ (Dami) went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The service is outstanding and the price was great too. I will definitely recommend to my friends and for any future events that I may have.

My daughter (married May 10, 2014) already wrote a positive review; however, I also needed to do the same since we were also very pleased. My family and I were very impressed because within a few minutes of calling PB&DJ productions, James contacted my daughter with prices for dj, photobooth and lighting.He was at the venue early. He played every song requested both at the ceremony and reception. In addition, James dressed and carried himself very professional. He and all of his staff were also very courteous and friendly. We've planned on using someone we have known since birth. However, we decided not to use them because despite numerous request from all of us to obtain prices for 6 months; we never received a quote. We were very fortunately to have found PB&DJ productions because they were professional and listened to every request made by my daughter and all of us. Therefore, we highly recommend contracting them for the most important day of your life. Note, Be aware of any vendor who doesn't listen to your request the first time and the ones that don't have reviews. No reviews is the same as a bad review.

I was very pleased with my choice with PBandDJ! James the owner is very professional and organized. He will respond to emails and phone calls quick too! I loved how he asked me in advanced what songs I wanted played and he played them. He took the list I had and put them in a great order to keep the dance floor going. He also communicated with me on my wedding day about any changes and listened to me. He played songs based on what I liked to keep the crowd dancing. The music wasn't too loud which was perfect and he was able to fade out our songs that we wanted to shorten. James also had wireless microphones for us which was perfect for the ceremony! The photo booth was a great deal and everyone loved it! I used the pictures people took for them to put in my guest book. I now have all the fun pictures of my guest as a coffee table book. Everyone got enough copies and there was plenty of fun props. PBandDJ is amazing and I am so happy with my choice to book with James!

James brought a new DJ and came along with him to our wedding reception. He/they were awesome DJs we had to change things around and they had no trouble just going with the flow and completely changing the timeline on the spot. Based on a small list of songs, James put together a great playlist that fit our diverse style.

Ed was our DJ for our wedding, and he was great. Stayed very close to the information sheet that we submitted to James before the wedding. PBDJ is very easy to work with, as you can script the event as much as possible or give the DJs free reign to play what they think will keep everyone out there. We allowed them to do their own thing once we opened up the dance floor, and they had people from ages 19-76 dancing the whole night with a good mix of everything. PBDJs is a great value.

PB&DJ Productions DJ'ed my husband's and my wedding a couple of weeks ago. Don was our DJ and he was wonderful - prompt, professional but fun, attentive to the crowd. We had rain that made things a little chaotic leading up to the ceremony, but Don was there, set up and ready to go as soon as guests starting rolling into the reception. Several of our guests went out of their way to let me know that the music mix that night is some of the best they've heard at a wedding. That was all Don! We filled out an info sheet a couple of weeks prior that was very thorough, and James from PB&DJ called a couple of days before to walk through everything, which made us feel secure that the music portion of the evening would be perfect and nothing to worry about. PB&DJ really came through for us and made our reception fun and totally memorable.

Most of the "must have" music I requested wasn't played (I only had about 10 songs and they played 1). If they needed me to provide the music and not just the names and artists they should have told me that. They played Elvis jailhouse rock at one point. I asked for no country music and they ended the night with 3 in a row. The rest was ok- just a lot of music I wouldn't want to dance to was played and thats not great for a wedding reception. The photobooth was a hit though- everyone loved it. The stars are for ok price (as it included dj and photobooth) and photobooth itself.

James did a wonderful job at my wedding! He was on schedule, had great equipment, knew what the crowd wanted and went with it. For example, we might have requested a song and he didn't play it because everyone was loving the fast paced music so why ruin that fun! We got a fantastic deal since we first interacted with PB&DJ at a bridal show. We only used their DJ services, so I can't speak on the PB portion, but I was extremely pleased with his services.

James was very organized and kept everyone on the dance floor! He did a great job playing a variety of music that kept my guests going! He was great to work with and kept me up to date (which helped lower my anxiety). Everything was just like I imagined and more! Thank you again!

I have to say when I first met James from PB&DJ at the bridal extravaganza I thought wow what a great deal. I was a little skeptical because let’s face it, you get what you pay for. It was the one vendor that was definitely making me a little nervous. Leading up to the wedding James (the owner) contacted me to gather information that the DJ would need. He was well organized and very professional. I quit worrying about it and finally thought that I had made a solid decision. Unfortunately, my initial instinct was correct. At first there were just small annoyances occurring. I have a list though of very detailed complaints: 1) The music actually cut off twice. Once I looked up and Jason (our assigned DJ) was at the bar. 2) There was a loud interference ringing towards the end of the reception. Definitely killed the mood (I would have excused this technical difficulty had it not been for the other issues) 3) They ask you to fill out a form where you can put must play songs, don’t play songs and general types of music you would like. Outside of the 1st dance, Father, and Mother dances, we had 2 must plays and a request for a specific garter toss song. We also had specified that we are country, 80’s and top 40 fans. I made it very clear I did not want any bump-and grind (you know what I mean) songs played. We had also discussed not having any other typical cheesy wedding songs. I listed out a handful but assumed a professional DJ would assume if we hated a few of them it would be smarter to stay away. The funny thing is I saw the paper in front of him; it was as if he just didn’t care to look at it. He completely forgot about playing the garter toss song, so as quick as I could I ran over and reminded him after it was taken off me….yes it looked ridiculous, but it was one of the things I had said we really wanted. I quickly realize he did not download it and there ended up being no music played. Then, he comes up to me and says I am going to play “celebrate” to get the party started. I told him on the spot “no, that is not the type of reception we are going for and requested copperhead road. He followed my request and played that, cupid shuffle and a song I forgot. Next thing I know this hard core rap song comes on and the dance floor completely clears! I had to run up to him and reiterate my original instructions again and said please just focus on 80’s and country. I will say he kept up the 80’s songs and did honor one strange request of a song my father had, but overall I was really disappointed. At least 2/3 of the songs on my suggested list must have been country, since my friends and family love to 2-step, and yet besides our specifically requested last dance song not a 2-stepping song was played. 4) Another thing I really disliked was he kept saying we were in cocktail hour when we actually had no cocktail hour plan. His continuing announcement of this made it seem as if no one could start dancing. 5) There are many others…but honestly it is not even worth my time to write them I will say that I was very pleased with their photo booth service. I have a feeling I just got the short end of the stick when it came to the personnel assignments.

My wife and I hired PB&DJ for our wedding that took place on March 22, 2013 everything was perfect, but "The Music Was Horrible", many of our guest said this. Not only we're we mad we were also very embarrassed as members of the wedding party pulled out their iPods as an alternative. We hired James (PB&DJ) because he seemed to know what he was doing, and he seemed well organized. But appearances are very misleading, and he didn't know how to mix the music, and we had to purchase a lot of our own songs for the wedding. Also PB&DJ( James & DJ associate) didn't even have our first dance song that James promised that he'll get. Another bad thing about PB&DJ is that they argued my our photographer threw out the evening very unprofessional, all because she was trying to help them with the music. I highly don't recommend PB&DJ to anyone especially on anyones one in a lifetime experience like their wedding day. Thank you for reading our honest review.

Andrew was our DJ and he did an excellent job on having the songs I requested and guiding the crowd. I also worked closely with James who heads up the company. He was very prompt in his response and was very professional. The photobooth was great and my guests had a great time. Overall for the cost and quality of service I feel as though I got a great deal!
