PB&J Catering

We used PB&J for bartending services for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! We had so many compliments from our guests on how nice they were and they even would come around to make sure my husband and I had drinks the entire night! I wish I would have hired them for catering they were so great, highly recommend!

We worked with Kristen for scheduling, Roger was our chef, and he had another person working with him. They were all excellent — going out of their way to make our day easier. Kristen’s attention to detail was impeccable. She was easy to work with and knew exactly what to recommend. Roger and the other crew member with him were nice, pleasant, and added a personal touch to the event. They clearly cared and worked hard to make our wedding great. On top of all of this, our meal options were excellent and excellently prepared. All of our attendees commented that they loved the food and service.

PB & J Catering was one of the best things about our wedding and the food was absolutely AMAZING!! Nate and Kristen made the entire planning process easy and stress free. Between choosing what to serve at our wedding and the entire taste testing, we couldn't of been happier with how it all turned out on our wedding day! If you want a catering staff that will take care of everything, book with PB & J! On the day of, they showed up and got everything set up in perfect timing. They made sure myself and my new husband were always taken care of, and that we enjoyed everything! They even made sure our vegetarian guests had their own unique dinner on our special day. Guests still keep mentioning how great the bbq was! I promise you won't be disappointed with the food or staff from them!

Amazing food!! We served bbq - burnt ends, turkey, and pulled pork. Our guests LOVED it! The sides were also great. The mac and cheese was a big hit. Everyone was so easy to work with. They set everything up and served our guests. They also cut and served the cake and stayed after to help clean up!! Very nice people and great quality food and service. I would definitely work with them again for another event.

We could not have chosen a better caterer than PB&J. Nate was a delight to work with and the food was INCREDIBLE. We still have people telling us how much they loved it. What was great is that Nate wanted it to be all about us, asked Tyler and I what our favorite foods were, and made the rest happen. They are completely accommodating and handle everything so professionally. I could not have imagined choosing anyone else!

PB&J Catering is the only way to go if you have catering needs. We spoke with several caterers and are so happy we went with PB&J. We aren't what you would consider "foodies" but good food was important to us! We had a buffet option that was just to die for! PB&J delivered quality food and service on our wedding night. They are very accommodating, had competitive pricing and was absolutely worth the money. I had multiple people comment about how good the food was on our wedding night ( My uncle who has apparently been to quite a few weddings said it was hands down the best food he had ever had at a wedding!) Even after the wedding people have mentioned how great the food was! Very thankful to Nate, Nat and the crew!

PB&J Catering went above and beyond for our special day. It is hard to put into words how professional and at ease the team was with everything; they made it all look effortless. The food was absolutely, drool-worthily delicious — so amazing that it was the first wedding I’ve ever been to where the food was gone by the end of the night. The best part of it all was the stations were uniquely based on our favorite places to eat — All Nate’s idea! You truly can’t go wrong with PB&J.

We had the best experience working with Nate. After our first meeting, I knew PB& J was the right choice. Nate was extremely personable and knows exactly what he's doing. We wanted our food to be something people enjoyed and Burnt End BBQ did not disappoint! At the end of the night, we didn't have any leftovers because people went back for seconds AND thirds. While I was a bit bummed out didnt get to eat more the next day, I am thrilled people loved it so much!! They also took care of all the little details for us including silverware, linen rentals, dessert table, and more. The employees that were on site set were very professional and extremely helpful. They set the tables, cleared plates, filled water glasses, etc. At the end of the night, they cleaned up everything and the place was spotless. My day went off without a hitch and I contribute a large part of that to PB&J for the amazing work they did behind the scenes (before, during, & after)!

They took our vision and ran with it. We chose to do food stations that included South Pacific, Latin, and BBQ. PB&J had fun with our menu and brought it to life. There wasn't one sad face during dinner. Everyone got up to get seconds and share their favorites!

Nate was great to work with- we had originally 330 total people and we did (2) double sided buffets. We did BBQ from their Burnt Ends BBQ restaurant and then upgraded sides from Yaya's. Our venue allowed us to bring in our own liquor, but paid for the bar package- they brought in the bartenders/mixers & glassware. It was amazing. Compared to hotels we were looking at and other venues- we saved almost $6,000 on bar with this option. They provided cake cutting complimentary but the cake station wasn't very closely watched and I had to ask for cake to keep being cut and we had a lot left over. Only thing I was disappointed with. We still get compliments!

The best service and the best food! One big thing I know I didn’t have to worry about on our wedding day. So happy going with PB&J.

We loved working with Nate at PB&J Catering. Right off the bat we were very impressed with him. He was very organized and meticulous in finding out exactly what we wanted so he could create a personalized menu for our big day. The food was great and everyone loved our Mexican fiesta. I still get compliments about it today!

We used PB&J's Catering for our May wedding in Liberty, MO and I have had more compliments on my wedding food than anything else! People loved it, and the service was excellent! We met with Nate at Burnt Ends for our tasting and the BBQ (and CHEESY CORN) was seriously to die for. Nate gave us honest advice about what items would be best for a wedding when considering all aspects of the day (guests/food preferences, cost, etc.) We used the service crew (they even cut the cake) as well and I would recommend them to anyone!!! It made the day so much easier for so many people. If you are looking for yummy food (that people actually like), and quality service at a good price- choose PB&J's services.

Very professional! Very accommodating! The display of food was lovely and even our KC natives said the burnt ends were some of the best they've ever had! Cannot recommend Michael and his team from PB&J enough.

This company was A+++ in every step of the process. From the planning to the delivery it was more than we could have hoped for and our guests had nothing but outstanding compliments. We found out about this company through another wedding that we had went to. We wanted to have our guests feel how we did about the food and catering as we did from that experience. Going with PB&J for our wedding caterer was a great decision! Nate and his team were on top of every detail, and they made the process fun and easy. In the conclusion of planning my wedding (in only 2 months) I have some pointers for my younger siblings and newly engaged couples. That advice starts with having PB&J cater. They are extremely professional, they are not just caterers, they are chefs and every member of their team is talented. In planning our wedding I was so thankful and felt extremely blessed to find PB&J and to be able to work with Nate. I came in with some unusual "fun" food ideas that other caterers made me feel silly for having, but Nate was equally as excited with me and took my vision and made it happen seamlessly. I will continue to trust them for all of my future events and recommend them to everyone that I care about. As soon as I met Nate I knew that we were taken care of and I could completely not worry about it. They are one of the biggest successes of our wedding. The food was amazing and fun, exactly what I was looking for. Family and friends are STILL (weeks later) talking about how great the food was. They really took care of us, treated us like we were family and they strive for success as if it is their event as well. What they did to make my wedding a success is something that I will not soon forget. Thank you again!

EXCEPTIONAL FOOD!!! I heard from so many of our guests that our food was the best food they had ever eaten. We worked very closely with Michael George and he made sure our night was amazing from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! PB&J Catering handled the food our entire wedding weekend and we could not have been more pleased! We had BBQ for the rehearsal dinner and opted for food stations for the big night. Everyone was raving about the food during and after the event. The presentation was excellent, the food was even better, and there was more than enough to go around. We initially met with Nate for lunch to discuss our vision followed by an afternoon tasting at one of their local restaurants. We had decided to do food stations as opposed to the traditional plated or buffet and Nate absolutely nailed our vision! Guests were making multiple trips to snag another plate! The team was very timely, professional, and friendly! Nothing but great things to say about our experience!

Nate and his staff did such an amazing job!! The food was above and beyond what I expected and the presentation was spectacular!! Everybody raved about the food and Michael was great as day of coordinator too!! Nate even did an off menu dish from years past that I love. I couldn't have been happier and would recommend PB&J catering to everyone for any event, large or small. Thanks again!!

The best decision we made in regards to our wedding reception. The food was absolutely amazing and the service matched. From the first experience we had with PB and J catering we knew we had made the right decision. They were extremely friendly and easy to work with. My wedding was a little unique in that it got pushed up four hours a day before the ceremony was to take place. What could have been an extremely stressful situation was made stress-free with PB and J’s flexibility and understanding. They showed up to our wedding 4 hours before their original call time to ensure all was set up perfect and ready to go. Their customer service is top notch. Guests were going on and on about how amazing the food was and are still talking about the delicious taste. Not only was the BBQ delicious, but the sides were equally as tasty. I am so thankful that we ordered extra so we could take home the leftovers and continue to enjoy the delicious food.

Absolutely amazing experience, all around. We worked very closely with Nate, who helped us design a menu that was special & unique to us, with delicious options that were for both more adventurous eaters, as well as more traditional options. We chose to do "action stations" vs plated meal or buffet. It added excitement & fun to the meal, making it an event within itself. Every guest told me how delicious every option was, especially the deviled eggs appetizer!!! Everyone said they had a lot of fun trying all the meal options. Nate's wealth of experience, professionalism & passion for his craft inspired confidence from day 1. He even jumped in and announced the stations for us at the reception when our emcee was confused. Also, Nate returned our cake stand back to our cake company, without us even asking :) 100% recommend

PB&J was the best decision we made when it came to catering. We chose to do BBQ, given the venue of our reception. Almost 6 months later, and a number of our guests are still talking about how good the food was at our wedding. My husband, a native Texan, has admitted the ribs were better than anything he has had in Texas (no small feat). Not only was the food absolutely amazing, PB&J was professional, easy to work with, had a wide range of options, and reasonably priced. I would recommend PB&J to anyone looking to eat good food at their wedding.
