I am the youngest of three girls and Pamela has been a part of each of our weddings. This year my wedding was especially challenging due to covid etc. and yet Pamela did not bat an eye. She was calm and level headed even when my mom and I were panicking. My wedding would not have been what it was without Pamela! She was the brains behind the operation that turned out to be an incredible day! And not to mention she did our gorgeous invitations and programs. Everyone planning a wedding needs Pamela by their side!
Pamela was an absolutely integral part of our big day and she ensured we had everything we needed to have our wedding run smoothly. She was like a member of the family by the end of the night, holding my baby nephew while we took pictures. She helped us fill in the blanks and made sure we stayed on track until the very last moment. I cannot imagine where we would have been without her!
Pamela helped us with all of our wedding stationery, table numbers, and placement cards! Everything was beautiful and classy. They also matched our color scheme perfectly. Thanks so much Pamela!
Without Pam we would not have been able to plan a wedding, nonetheless one from across the country. She tells it to you straight and will work out your requests with vendors. She knows everyone in the Newport area and vendors enjoy and respect working with her so its only a benefit for you. She problem solves on the fly, provides solutions and takes care of details you might not have thought about. Her and her staff made sure the day of the wedding flowed perfectly and we could focus on enjoying ourselves and our time with friends and family without worrying. She also runs New England Invitations which will help you coordinate all your paper element needs. It was a pleasure working with her and we actually miss talking to her every day after our wedding. But, we still send hello texts once in a while. She is a truly genuine person.
Simply put, I wouldn't be married without Pamela. The place would have burned down, I suppose. She took care of every detail from the minute I booked her until the morning AFTER the wedding. I trusted her to make decisions for me, to coordinate vendors, to do what's best for us and our guests, and she delivered. I was a laidback bride (I think?) who didn't really care about many things...and she took over to make sure I somehow got exactly what I wanted. She tackled some last-minute would-be catastrophes, too, like when the grandmother who said she didn't want a corsage showed up to the wedding and wanted a corsage. Problem solved within 5 minutes! You're an angel, Pamela!!

My wedding was everything I dreamed of and more - elegant, classy, sophisticated – perfect in every way. Pamela made my vision a reality, and it was better than I even imagined.
I have to confess that when I first got engaged, I thought I could save some money by planning my wedding myself. I was so naïve! The stress was crippling – not to mention I live 1,000 miles away from my destination wedding in Newport, Rhode Island.
Step in Pamela to save the day. Pamela has an immaculate eye for detail and an encouraging can-do attitude. Her knowledge and wisdom of the business is extraordinary, and she is beloved by everyone we encountered in the New England wedding circuit.
Pamela is DEPENDABLE, professional, impeccably organized, friendly, assertive, and has flawless taste. She set us up with New England’s best catering, flowers, invitations, transportation, hair and makeup, band, photographer – but appreciated we had a budget and advised honestly on what was worth the money and what wasn’t. While I was at my day job, she handled all meetings and logistics. The big day mapped out down to the minute – all I had to do was relax and have fun!
But most important – Pamela was also a friend. She answered my frantic, 3AM, bridezilla emails by the time I woke up in the morning. She was a shoulder to lean on and wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion when I needed guidance. She made me feel special, as though her world revolved around me during all those months of planning.
To all the brides out there – pdr events made all my wedding dreams come true! Thank you Pamela!
I could go on and on about how amazing Pamela is. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it was all because of her. She treated our wedding as if it was her own and it really showed, down to the smallest details. I had not thought through all of the complicated logistics of our outdoor tented wedding but Pamela took charge and immediately eased any worries. Her communication skills are excellent and she was always available for our never-ending questions! We also used her company New England Invitations for all our day-of paper goods and they came out beautifully! Every single vendor she recommended to us was fantastic and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Do not hesitate to hire Pamela and her team, it is worth every penny!!
Pamela was absolutely incredible!! From start to finish she was knowledgeable, professional, upbeat and totally on the ball. I genuinely enjoyed getting to know her and working through the details of our day with her. She prioritized us and I very much felt that we were in great hands. As someone who likes to know what's going on, I was able to totally relax and enjoy our day, knowing that Pamela was in charge. Additionally, we got our formal invitations and all our day-of printed materials from her, including welcome boxes, and everything looked fantastic. Do yourself a favor and hire Pamela for your wedding! She is AWESOME!

I am convinced I could not have gotten through the wedding planning process without Pamela. There are so many logistical aspects to a wedding that I needed help with, and Pamela is a professional who knows everything and put my worried mind at ease. I wanted a Great Gatsby themed wedding, and she knew all the right vendors to go to in order to make my dream a reality. She is an excellent communicator, and gives the best advice. She also is familiar with so many wedding venues and vendors, so she knows exactly what you need and what to ask for.
I never thought I would need a wedding planner, and looking back it was the best decision I made. My wedding day was perfect, and exactly how I’d dreamed it would be, and it’s all thanks to Pamela. When I walked around the venue on my wedding day I was amazed that everything had come to life in exactly how I’d envisioned it. She is amazing, and I highly recommend hiring her!!
Pamela helped me plan our wedding from day one - and that included planning a welcome reception the night before and a brunch the morning after the big day. She helped me find several of my vendors including my photographer and florist and they were all outstanding vendors. She has so much fun and so much passion for what she does and it shows in her work. She doesn't leave a detail out on the big day. Because I was marrying someone from out of the country, it was important for me to incorporate details from both cultures and Pamela helped me with this. Many of our guests - from all over the world - are still telling us that it was the 'best wedding ever' ... and my husband and I agree! It was beautiful, chic, fun and it fit our personalities. We would do it all over again tomorrow!
After doing most of the planning for my wedding, I realized that I really needed help putting together the finishing touches - and contacted Pamela, from whom I had purchased my wedding invitations (which were gorgeous). Hiring Pamela was the best thing I could have done for my wedding. She was professional, available, full of excellent ideas and took all of the pressure off of me on my wedding day so that I could just enjoy it. Anything I came up with that I needed, she got it in a flash, and she thought of things for my wedding that I would never have dreamed of and which made the wedding all the more spectacular. As if that weren't enough, Pamela's intern was a joy to work with and was always there to help out. Everyone in the wedding party and my family loved Pamela, and found her helpful and fun to be around. She kept us on task, and was always one step ahead of us. You won't regret working with pdr events, inc. Pamela is one in a million.
