ut having to worry about a thing. She brought our vision to life and made our wedding even more beautiful and memorable than we could have imagined. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!
Alejandra with Peper Events is an absolute GIFT to this industry and I genuinely do not know how I would have survived wedding planning without her! I'm extremely type A and origin...
ally didn't think I wanted or needed a planner — but Lowndes Grove requires one, and it ended up being the best "requirement" of my entire planning process. Alejandra was my actual lifeline from day one, and I mean that with my whole heart. I could not have planned this wedding without her, and it truly would not have looked or felt the way it did without her vision, creativity, and flawless execution.
My husband and I also had some pretty ridiculous requests, and Alejandra never once blinked. We wanted to do our own flowers, which meant she ended up setting them up around the venue and on all the tables the morning of. The August heat was HEATING, so we also wanted those little rolled-up scented wet hand towels you get at fancy hotels, and her response was simply "sure, I'll make it happen." It genuinely felt like nothing we dreamed of for our big day was off limits with her. She can literally do anything — she's epic.
She was organized, calm, endlessly patient, and completely on top of every single detail — even when I was admittedly a lot to manage as a type A bride! Nothing fazed her. She anticipated things before I even knew I needed them and made the entire process feel effortless when it could have easily been overwhelming. Every vendor she recommended was perfect, every timeline ran seamlessly, and our day came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined on my own.
I heard SO often leading up to my wedding that something will always go wrong on your wedding day, no matter what. But because of Alejandra's extensive, meticulous planning, nothing did. Not one thing. Our day was completely seamless from start to finish, and that is 100% a testament to how thoroughly and thoughtfully she prepared for every possible detail.
On top of all of that, the pricing was so reasonable compared to other planners in the Charleston wedding industry — an incredible value for the level of expertise, care, and peace of mind she provides.
Alejandra and the entire Peper Events team are truly the best in the business. If you're getting married at Lowndes Grove (or anywhere in Charleston!), booking her is hands-down the best decision you will make in your whole planning process. Could not recommend her and Peper Events more!!

essional, efficient, and incredibly effective at bringing our vision to life.
Her organization and attention to detail made everything feel seamless and stress-free. She was always one step ahead, anticipating needs before we even realized them, and handling every situation with calm confidence. No matter how big or small the task, she approached it with care and precision, which gave us complete peace of mind.
Beyond her professionalism, Alejandra is genuinely one of the kindest and most friendly people to work with. She made the entire experience enjoyable and personal, always taking the time to listen and make us feel heard and supported. It truly felt like she was just as invested in our day as we were.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran flawlessly. Alejandra was right on cue with the timeline, ensuring every moment flowed perfectly and everything stayed on track without ever feeling rushed. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, knowing she had everything under control. That alone made her worth every penny.
If you’re considering hiring Alejandra from Peper Events, do it, you will not regret it. She is exceptional at what she does and truly goes above and beyond for her clients.

Erica was with us through every step of the planning process. She gave us incredible vendor recommendations while still giving us the space to make choices that felt personal to us, and she helped us think through every detail in a way that made the entire process feel thoughtful and manageable.
On the wedding day, Erica and Paige were absolutely spectacular. Everything was flawlessly executed, and they made sure we could be fully present and truly soak in the day. I felt like I was floating the entire time, and there was never a moment where I felt worried, rushed, or pulled out of the experience. Paige was also wonderful and so helpful day-of, making sure nothing got in the way of us being in the moment.
So many of our guests and family members commented on how incredible Erica was – not just behind the scenes, but in the way she showed up with calm, warmth, and total command of the day. Our wedding was beautiful, intentional, fun, and completely seamless. We truly cannot thank Peper Events enough and would recommend them wholeheartedly. ❤️

seamless, calm, and so special.
What stood out most was how genuinely caring and attentive she was throughout the day. She thought through even the smallest details that made such a big difference. For example, she had my dad and I wait in an air conditioned sprinter instead of outside at the church before walking in. It was such a thoughtful touch and showed how much she truly cared about our comfort and overall experience.
Because of Jacqueline, I was able to fully enjoy every moment of our wedding day without stress. Her calming presence, organization, and dedication allowed everything to run so smoothly, and I’m incredibly grateful for all of her hard work. She was truly such a gift during this process, and I cannot recommend her enough!

If you’re getting married in Charleston, stop searching and book with Peper Events!
From our very first conversation, Alejandra truly listened. Not just to our budget or timeline ...
— but to our vision, our personalities, and the feeling we wanted our wedding day to have.
What sets her apart from other Charleston wedding planners is how deeply invested she becomes in her couples. She wasn’t just our planner — she was our advocate, our calm in every storm, and the steady presence that made the entire process enjoyable instead of overwhelming. She was incredibly supportive, responsive, and proactive every step of the way.
On wedding day, my husband and I felt something every couple hopes for but not everyone gets: complete peace. No stress. No chaos. No last-minute questions. Everything flowed beautifully, and we were fully present for every moment. Behind the scenes, she was going above and beyond to make every detail flawless.
And somehow, she does all of this while remaining incredibly affordable. The value she brings is unmatched. In a city like Charleston, where there are so many planners to choose from, Peper Events truly stands in a category of their own.
Hiring her was hands down one of the best decisions we made. If you want a creative, supportive, detail-oriented planner who will exceed your expectations and give you a completely stress-free wedding day — Peper Events is the one.

ca is so kind & genuine and willing to make your vision come true but she's also realistic and super adaptable. She was patient when I kept changing my mind on things and when we had some super freak cold weather in October in Charleston, she helped us pivot last minute.
On the day of, everything went so smoothly despite the weather and it flowed effortlessly. I've been in quite a few weddings where planners & vendors were bothering the bride, things were not clear or well organized and even the overall event timeline was weird so I seriously appreciate all the hard work Erica and her team put into making out wedding run so smoothly!
Highly recommend working with Peper Events!
Jacqueline made my vision come true! This team is one of a kind! They are all so thoughtful and detail oriented. My day would not have been the same without them!

Jacqueline was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, and on the wedding day, she made sure every last thing was taken care of. n was always prompt, her attention to detail was acute, but most of all, it was her sweet disposition that provided such a calm to all of us. When morning-of weather predicted a temperature drop and steady rain, Alee implemented the rain plan that we'd hoped not to have to consider. While that could have derailed plans from a number of perspectives, Alee executed the set up in a way that was elegant and lovely and there was never a moment of stress. Her team was gracious and efficient and from start to finish there wasn't a detail missed. Alee was a blessing on a truly magical day!

rest inspiration or described a feeling I wanted to capture, Erica knew just how to bring it to life.
The result was a celebration that felt uniquely ours in every way. Erica orchestrated every detail with such care and intuition, from the stunning décor to the smooth timeline and even the special touches that reflected our personalities. Whenever a challenge popped up, Erica handled it with grace and expertise—so seamlessly that I never knew anything happened.
What I loved most was how Erica made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. She was always available to answer questions, offer advice, and even calm my nerves when the planning got overwhelming. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and well-organized the day was, and I know that’s all thanks to Erica’s dedication.
If you’re searching for a planner who will truly get your vision and make your dream wedding come to life, I can’t recommend Erica enough. She went above and beyond, and gave us a day we’ll cherish forever!

ur month-of coordinator—but she felt like so much more than that.
From the start, she was so warm, responsive, and organized. I always felt like I could reach out with any question, big or small, and she would reply quickly with thoughtful advice or a clear solution. She helped us finalize our floorplan, walked through the venue with us, and even built a detailed rain backup plan that covered things we hadn’t even considered. Her vendor recommendations were solid, and she double-checked all the contracts we had already signed just to make sure everything aligned with the venue and our timeline.
The month of the wedding, Alejandra took over all vendor communication, and I finally felt like I could breathe. At the rehearsal, she gathered all our personal items and made sure every detail was accounted for. On the wedding day, she and her assistant handled everything behind the scenes so smoothly—vendor arrivals, setup, timing, décor placement—you name it. I never once had to worry about what was happening, and I was able to be fully present with my family and friends.
She also kept our timeline flowing naturally throughout the evening, adjusting things as needed so it never felt rushed or stiff. She even made sure all of our gifts, cards, and décor were packed up at the end of the night so our family didn’t have to scramble.
If you’re getting married in Charleston and considering a planner, I can’t recommend Alejandra and Peper Events enough. She made our day so special—and completely stress-free. We’re endlessly grateful.

I was an out of town bride and only visited Charleston twice (once to pick a venue and once 3 months before the wedding) and it was a breeze. Her team that was on-site for the wedding day was amazing and went the extra mile on everything. Erica thought of every detail and allowed me to be fully present on my day and not worried about planning. I would 1000% recommend Erica to any future couples getting married.

ke I could do most of the planning on my own. Man, was I wrong! There are a lot of aspects of wedding planning that only a professional planner can help you with and I felt extremely lucky to work with Alee for the 10 months leading up to my wedding. She was always available and prompt with any questions I had as well as extremely organized. Multiple people in our wedding party commented on how smooth our wedding day went and it was 100% because of Alee. I never felt stressed throughout this process because of Alee’s calm presence that was always there as a sounding board. I got extremely overwhelmed during our reception and Alee even sat with me for 5 minutes just to calm me down and help me finish the night. I would recommend Alee, and Peper Events, to anyone looking for a wedding planning company that makes you feel like the center of attention and values you each day.

coordinated all of our rentals (coming from multiple rental companies), catering, bar, reception layout, among so many other finer details! She asked great questions about things I hadn't given any thought to, but were important things to consider -- things only a wedding planner could have on their radar. On our day of, Alejandra kept us on our timeline, and was ever present, but never overbearing. She guided us gently through each transition of our evening, allowing us to soak in our special day as much as possible. She and Jaqueline worked behind the scenes on our wedding day, too -- I brought some glow sticks I bought on a whim and didn't have a plan for and they took the time to crack all of them and pass them out to our guests during the reception and made it so fun! I *HIGHLY* recommend Peper Events and would choose them over and over again!
Erica, Jacqueline, and Abbey were absolutely amazing with helping us plan our wedding. They were super responsive to all of our questions and helped us with any problems that came ...
up leading to the day. We truly felt like we were able to completely relax the entire day of our wedding, knowing that we had put our trust in the right group of people to be able to execute our day to perfection! They are absolutely incredible and I would choose them over and over again if I could!
I was so blessed to find Erica during my wedding planning process. She was always so responsive, helping us find vendors who worked in our budget and learn how to navigate the wedd...
ing world. Erica and her team had worked with our vendors at other weddings and the familiarity between everyone truly made the whole process that much easier. Our entire day ran AHEAD of schedule and my husband and I were able to just relax and enjoy our day thanks to Erica. Our families asked us how we accomplished the impossible and we just told them we had the best planner.
We were blessed to have Alejandra as our Day Of Coordinator and she was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, she was professional yet personal, educational in a kind way...
, timely, responsive (and patient when I was not quite as responsive), and most importantly (in my opinion), warm. She helped comfort me when I was feeling anxious and warmly nudged me in the right direction when I needed it. That stood out to me, and I appreciated her a lot for it. She is very organized and on top of everything. From the first time we met at our venue, even the staff at our venue sang her praises and told stories of how she pulled off the impossible. She was there to organize but let us do our own thing when we didn't necessarily want to stick to the timeline. My wife and I are kind of free spirited and she went with it. We weren't happy with the color of some of our linens and she pulled some strings to get us the right ones last minute on a Sunday. She brought us drinks right after the ceremony, made us plates of food so we could eat, stayed close in case we needed something or had a question, but also gave us space. I could go on and on. Alejandra is amazing and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!
