Robin, Shannon and the team at Perfect Day Catering were incredible! Their communication leading up to the wedding was amazing and they really paid attention to detail, which was greatly appreciated! On top of that they were friendly, professional, organized, and worked with us to stay within our budget. They listened to our feedback at our tasting, and the food on wedding day was perfect! We had a taco bar and our photographer even said it was the best Mexican food she's ever had at a wedding! We were just so impressed with their services - they really went above and beyond what we imagined. They even made sure to bring us appetizers while taking photos during cocktail hour and checked on us throughout the reception, refilling our drinks several times. They were so efficient and were in and out without a hitch. We’re so grateful to them for helping us with our “perfect day” and would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone!

Perfect Day Catering provided such a great value! The food was delicious and everything was taken care of without a hitch. The venue and guests had high praise for their bartending services too! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the food and am still waiting for the photos from our photographer to come in, but the presentation was nice and the self serve buffet worked out well. Thanks Robin and Shannon for your help in making our wedding so special.

I started contacting perfect day since January 25. They responded on the same day. My fiancé and I created a group text with them so we will be on the same page. The menu was revised 3x. We also agreed to have a food tasting. We were back and forth about the date. My fiancé is off every Mondays so he chose to go on his day off. Perfect day chose March 3 and they cancelled because of the storm. Since I am from SoCal I cannot go with my fiancé. They did not reschedule it but my fiancé was trying to reschedule. We did not wanna just pay right away because my fiancé had not had a chance to have a food tasting. Since we mentioned to them where we were from they became slow with response (race wise). When I noticed nothing was finalized I decided make a deposit right away but their response was someone already booked them. I don't suggest to book this caterer they are very unprofessional and wasted our time. After having a back and forth communication they dropped us. They said they haven't heard from us they assumed we were not booking them anymore. We gave them a chance despite of what we read about them on yelp. They had a client complained about sanitation. Perfect Day you guys suck!!!! Racisit!!! Goodluck to your business you deserve negative star!!!

There is nothing I couldn't say that is not praise. If you want to support a local caterer who takes care of details and brings wonderful suggestions you've found your caterer. We had one request for tweaking a sweet tea as my husband is from the South and loves his tea VERY sweet. He was thrilled the day of and we heard nothing but great things about the food from guests. Unlike so many other couples who I've heard didn't get a time to eat, we were able to get a plate full of all the food and I was so happy to be able to relax for that short time and really be able to talk with my husband. Everything was perfect.

We hired Perfect Day Catering for our wedding day. The first few months after hiring Perfect Day, Robin was very easy to communicate with, however as our event got closer (~2 months before our wedding), I began having trouble getting a hold of Robin. A few weeks before our wedding I asked Robin for an invoice for our total to help us understand what we were being charged for. To this day, I haven't received this information. On the day of our wedding, the food was great, but my guests started complaining about how quickly they took the food away...many weren't finished eating or wanted more food.

Robin was simply wonderful to work with! Her food is delicious we are so indecisive and she really helped us narrow down our vision. Not only is her food delicious, it looks beautiful too. We loved our date nights visiting her intimate tasting room. The day of was perfect our guest are still talking about her garlic and leek mashed potatoes and late night steak tacos bar. Her servers were friendly and professional and attentive. Robin even came to check on us during dinner- every detail and personable moment went beyond our expectations. Fresh, creative and delicious!

LLC was the absolute best! They worked with us on our food choices, were prompt on arriving and set up everything beautifully. They made sure us and our guests were taken care of throughout the entire evening, from cocktail hour through dessert. I highly recommend LLC and their incredible staff.

I cannot say enough good things about Kris and her team! She is truly a national treasure. Her food is amazing, her team is highly professional and efficient. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and she was there every step of the way to offer advice and support. Her taste in not only food, but décor as well, is impeccable- she was so helpful in executing my vision and finding ways to make it really come to life. I would 100% recommend her to anyone getting married or planning an event in Calaveras county!

I have no words to thank Lunch Lady Catering enough - Kris and her staff literally were a DREAM TEAM. From Friday night set up in the HEAT for our rehearsal dinner/welcome party, to the food at the rehearsal dinner (I don't think I have ever had so many people compliment a meal in my life), to the dessert bar for the welcome reception -- I think people were packing their bags with dessert it was so good (hahha!!)...all the way to our AMAZING wedding day on Saturday 6.24.17! I could cry writing this review, because it was Lunch Lady's staff who busted ass all morning, day and night to make our vision and wedding dreams come true. The set up was everything I could have ever dreamed of. They didn't miss a beat. Nothing!! The cocktail reception was perfection, the staff greeted us all (wedding party, family and guests) with PERFECT drinks as soon as the reception was over, every time I asked for chardonnay, somehow my secret bride Chardonnay appeared and I got exactly what I wanted, Garrett's (my husband's) old fashioned drinks were a HIT and crafted perfectly, the rose` and raspberries were to die for, the appetizers....(everyoneeeeeeeeeeee complimented them), the chips, salsa and guac on the tables were not only sooo delicious, but displayed exactly how I wanted them, the buffet was UNREAL (TONS of people said it was the best wedding food they ever had), the cookie and milk bar.... LITERALLY I could go on and on and on.... As I said, there are no words to thank Lunch Lady staff enough. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for our magical wedding and, as I have been saying, I am overflowing with gratitude for MY DREAM TEAM OF VENDORS!!!

Kris knocked our wedding out of the park. Our guests still cannot stop raving about how wonderful our food was. All of the little touches she suggested from pre-ceremony snow cones, to amazing served appetizers, to our stellar buffet, and late night snacks of milkshake shooters and French fries were absolutely perfect. All of her staff were so nice and professional, and her assistance in coordinating our rentals order was LIFESAVING. I would absolutely recommend and use her again!

we were really happy with the outcome. It was really yummy. Kris worked really hard to fit everything we wanted into our budget! The day of the wedding was so smooth! The staff was super professional and friendly. It was really great and everyone loved the foods.

This is the caterer that is referred to by my wedding venue. When I first contacted Kris (owner) inquiring about food for my wedding, she came back with a fantastic menu with a larger price than my budget could work with. I was pretty discouraged. She emailed me back the next week after not hearing from me. I was honest with her and told her that I simply couldn't afford the price she listed. We went back and forth a bit, and found both a menu and price that worked great. It ended up being a drop off and pick up buffet. The food was fantastic! The chicken especially was so delicious. Definitely recommend!
