asn’t the easiest but Katie was always super accommodating when it came to scheduling our skype meetings to finalize all of the details in the month leading up to the big day. Autumn and Jordan were who we ended up working with the day of our wedding and all I have to say is they were an absolute God-send. They handled absolutely everything and whenever something came up, they were all over it. The night of our rehearsal I realized I didn’t have a unity candle holder and Autumn volunteered to run to Hobby Lobby for us to grab one until she found one at the church. We had a “prop” for my dad’s speech at the reception and as they were getting ready to take it down a piece fell off but she came to the rescue again and had it all glued back together by the time we needed to use it. I cannot say enough amazing things about Katie, Autumn and Jordan and if I had to do it all over again, I would book them in a heartbeat!

My husband was concerned about the photos we had put up being straight, so he asked her to take care of that. We had an amazing day, and a great deal of that was due to Katie and her assistant.

She thought of every logistic detail to make my vision come true, and on the day-of she made it all happen. I am a very particular person (bless my very patient, now-husband), and I had a clear vision for our wedding day. I had already booked the majority of our vendors, and I was looking for a day-of coordinator to make sure that everything went smoothly on our wedding day. I went with the Simply Perfect Glow package and it was everything I needed. Leading up to the big day, Katie and I met every two weeks starting at the six-week mark, and then once more the week before the wedding. She was extremely organized with spreadsheets and timeline information, and would even buy me Starbucks for our meetings (and remember my favorite order- she really is the best!) She kept me focused in terms of tasks that needed to be completed before our next meeting, and helped lighten the load by making phone calls, verifying information with vendors, and creating our day-of timeline. She kept me calm when I would get overwhelmed and stressed. She helped me focus on the important things and I’m so thankful for the great conversations we had at our meetings. Katie recognizes that a wedding is so much more than just a day, that it’s the start of a new life together. She really understood me, and my vision for the day. She is professional, reassuring, kind, compassionate, patient, experienced, and exceptionally detail-oriented. Our wedding was important to her and she put her whole self into making my wedding dreams come true. Our wedding took place where we met, which was super sweet and sentimental, but unfortunate for our families who each had to travel 200 miles to get there. When our families arrived, everyone was ready to party, naturally, but there was still so much work to be done in terms of tying up loose ends and very few people who wanted to help. What family member wants to step out during the ceremony to hang up a banner (you know, the Just Married one for the limo)? Or miss part of dinner to set up favors (in a pyramid formation, mind you)? Or bring flowers from the chapel to the reception hall during cocktail hour? These are all things that Katie did, and so much more, so that the groom and I, and our 150 guests could all sit back, relax, and enjoy the day. Our guests are still talking about how fantastic the wedding was, 5 months after the fact. Katie was the glue that held everything together that day in terms of making sure everything was where it needed to be: decorations, centerpieces, favors, baskets with bubbles, programs, the cake stand, votive candles, props for a surprise Father-Daughter dance, chalkboard signs, the guestbook, and the list goes on. I highly recommend Katie and Perfect Glow Weddings, for your sanity as the couple during this very fun but also stressful time of wedding planning, but also for the sake of your bridal party and guests who will want to spend the day celebrating you and not worrying about those little details that, while seemingly only important to you, truly give your wedding day that perfect glow.

Katie Gerber's husband played acoustic guitar as I walked down the aisle and provided music for the entire ceremony. Katie was even able to get us in contact with a photo booth vendor who offered their services to us for free (I really wanted a photo booth, but simply couldn't afford it). It was perfect! In addition to wanting help planning before the wedding, I really wanted to be able to enjoy the day without having to worry about all the small things. Perfect Glow allowed me to do that. There is no way our wedding could have been as special (and stress-free) as it was without the help of Perfect Glow. They are so wonderful to work with and you absolutely know you have a partner to help make your day everything you ever wanted it to be. I 100% would recommend their services to anyone!!!

We wanted to have a prayer together before our vows but without seeing each other Katie coordinated it and it is one of my favorite wedding pictures and special moments from that day. Speaking of pictures in our prep pictures you can see her helping my groomsman tie their ties and pinning in their boutonnières. Whatever we needed she made it happen. Everything went as planned and was on time (which was big to me) thanks to them. The only change I may go back in make would be to up our package and work with Perfect Glow as soon as we started planning!!

She even texted me to ask how I was doing in the most stressful days of the process, sending encouragement and assistance at all hours of the day and night. She responded immediately to every text and email and communicated constantly with all of my vendors. On the day of the wedding, Katie was everywhere. She helped the bridal party get ready, set up the ceremony room, wrangled family and friends for the photographers, told vendors where to be and when to get there, oversaw the room flip (we used the same room for the ceremony and reception), and structured the entire day for us. She created a wedding timeline that was perfectly detailed down to what song would play at what time. She worked well not only with our vendors, but with our families and friends as well. Everyone agreed that Katie made the day a success. I am eternally grateful for all that she did for us and would absolutely recommend her to everyone who is looking for a wedding planner/coordinator.

all meant little know-how and even less time to plan a wedding. I got the most inclusive package offered and would do it again in a heartbeat. Katie was awesome. She answered every question I had and some I didn’t know I had. I gave her the vision we had for our wedding and she made it happen. She even ended up playing “DJ” day-of because we skimped on a not-so-great DJ (against Katie’s recommendation I might add) who didn’t know how to play top hits. I was none the wiser though as Katie had everything reigned in tightly. Having been in many wedding parties since my own I recommend at the *very* least a day of wedding coordinator. But personally, I’m still sold on the most inclusive package. It made our special day stress free for us, our wedding party and our families. Truly was an amazing experience. Thanks, Perfect Glow.
