She made the day go by so smoothly and ensured little things that were important to us were included and prioritized. I genuinely can't say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond for us and even some of my family members made comments about how great of a job she was doing. She helped set up my ceremony backdrop, even though it was insanely windy outside and she is roughly 4 ft shorter than the height of our arbor, haha! She's a true champ. I never saw her not smiling throughout the day. She helped me bustle my dress, made me feel at ease before walking down the aisle, and she made sure my husband and I got to try our food from the Cocktail Hour. I felt really seen and heard throughout the day because of her and her efforts. I'm so grateful we were able to snag her for our wedding day!! I hope she wins some sort of award for her hard work, you can tell she really loves her job and has a true knack for it!

thing planned out to the square inch on a dozen different spreadsheets. Our venue (All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, NC) requires a Day of Coordinator and thank goodness they do. This led us to meeting Carla at Perfect Peony Events. Her six month coordination package comes with impeccable communication, vendor visits, a DoC, and her own personal treasure trove of wedding paraphernalia. All of which we took advantage of by the end of the wedding weekend. As the Day approached, Carla must have said "I'll handle it" more than a dozen times. I suspect she did even more work for us than I even realize. And let me tell you, in the two weeks leading up to a 120 person wedding weekend extravaganza, those are the most beautiful words you can possibly hear from a vendor. On the Big Day, Carla was by our side from literally morning to well after 10pm. She held hands, wiped tears, encouraged, managed, and just generally made the day infinitely less stressful for us. She made executive decisions during the ceremony that saved us time and energy. She brought her own wedding décor that we had selected ahead of time and set up the bundles we had brought (family photos, bathroom baskets, etc). She was just somehow everywhere all at once and simultaneously always there when we needed her. In addition, she helped organized the load out of all of our personal items, so that we could run off to the after party with our family and friends. We can't thank her enough for her services, time, effort, and most importantly pure talent and genuine camaraderie in what turned out to be, as cliché as it sounds, the best, busiest, and most beautiful day of our lives.

t is at times quite stressful. Throughout the planning process, she was very detail-oriented, helpful and calming. The last month leading up to the wedding, she really helped iron out all the details, so when the day finally arrived, things went incredibly smoothly! The reception was GORGEOUS, more than I could have dreamed of. She took my vision and enhanced it, and it was stunning, a dream come true! Her team truly helped make the day one my husband and I will cherish forever, and I could not be more grateful.

ver would have. Kari executed the day beautifully. I knew how I wanted it to go but I did not know how to put it in to words. Kari and Carla made it so that I did not have to worry about anything but enjoying the day of. I doubted whether or not I needed someone and waited a bit longer than I should have. I tend to want to control things but handing over control was the best decision I made! My wedding was perfect and I couldn’t have had that with out them!

y. She is extremely detail oriented and thorough at her job. A lot that was out of all of our control went wrong on my wedding day and she handled it ALL and fixed everything. Half of my food order wasn’t delivered and she dealt with that. She made sure everyone got food, made sure they brought the rest speedily, and negotiated compensation for us. She was even serving food at one point. She kept our extremely large family and wedding party straight for rehearsal, the procession, and the grand entrance. My timeline became extremely out of wack due to the catering issue and she rolled with it and made every last minute change look like it was planned all along. She helped clean up decorations and really was doing way more than just coordinating throughout the entire day. It’s evident by her work that she has a ton of experience and knowledge about weddings. My other venders that have some a ton of weddings were very impressed by her. I had no idea what I was doing and she filled in all the gaps and eased my MANY anxieties. I seriously can not recommend Perfect Peony Events enough. We would have crashed and burned without her there. We weren’t sure if getting a coordinator was necessary at first but we are extremely glad we made the investment because it definitely was necessary. Carla made my entire wedding day and I am extremely grateful.

My only regret was not booking her for complete wedding planning services from the start! My wedding day was absolutely stress free and everything ran smoothly. ves for this wedding and my more sensible better half found you. Carla, we met you and was already warming up to the fact we had you on our team with this 75 person wedding we had at our home. We had things to think about that we didn't think about before, we had suggestions that we needed to consider and what I loved most was that you were not pushy but suggestive, firm, and persuasive in our best interests. Hindsight, we needed that. I feel like a lot of people need that especially when both of us were unsure as this is our first marriage. Carla kept in great contact with both of us and when it came down to it the part that warms my heart the most was when the rental company delivered and installed the tent and put everything in the middle, it looked like crap. I immediately picked up the phone and called Carla and was basically like "hey... I don't know if this is what we envisioned." Carla stepped out above and beyond and came over to talk to us and just was like "let's put this all together and you'll see" basically. That was when we realized, this is it, this is when we found 200% value in having her and Perfect Peony on our side. She went in and looked at our bulk decorations and everything and calmed the bride down, she put me to work with her setting up the venue and by the end of that night, we were all good. Day of, (we knew this beforehand), her well informed and GREAT performing assistant got handed the baton and let me tell you, Hannah is a firecracker in getting things done and a master herder of cats. You NEED someone to keep you on the timeline and she did that along with all the details she kept up with. I looked through the window a couple of times and just saw her going. Adapting and overcoming was definitely her strong suit and also thank you for the "NO, you guys should REALLY GO THROUGH WITH THIS" in regards to our anxious stage freight with dances and speeches. I should have given you a hug at the end of the night because without you, the biggest cog in the whole works, and Carla's follow up and timelines, there was no way we could have made this happen as perfectly as it did. I mean, no noticeable hitch. Love you guys and please, feel free not to be a stranger. It felt like it was friends helping friends. Highly recommend Perfect Peony's help.

This was my first wedding ever, not only have I never been married before but I have never been to or experience a wedding before this except in movies. My husband and I were on a tight budget but Carla helped us with as much as she could. I love that she has decor for her brides to choose from. We did a lot if DIY decor and set up for our big day and I was stressed for time but she came in and put us at ease. She went above and beyond to help make the wedding planning and day-of smooth and easy. She was SO on top of things and remembered everything we planned and then executed it seamlessly.
