Where do I even begin? That was my first thought after getting engaged. I received Tara's information from a friend and decided to meet with her. I had a budget and a fiance, but that was it. Literally. No colors, no ideas - nothing. By the end of our first meeting, Tara had mapped out a complete to do list, budget plan and practically the wedding in a spreadsheet. I knew then, like my fiancé, that she was THE ONE. It didn't matter how indecisive i was, how many times I changed my mind, how many times I called, texted or emailed. She was there. Every time. Professional, polite, about her business and all. I was truly amazed. As with most brides, there's a point where you become anxious about seeing the big, complete picture. Tara was able to provide that to me all along the way...and better yet, she provided me with ideas that I didn't even consider or think of because she is an EXPERT. I can TRULY say that my wedding was beyond what I ever imagined it to be and I can TRULY say, it is because of Tara Melvin and her amazing staff, their attention to detail, professionalism and love for their work. When I saw my ceremony and even moreso, my reception, it hit me all at once. She did it! She helped make it all come true. Brides - you won't get another chance to have a moment like that, so make sure you pick the right person to give it to you. It's Perfect Planning. I researched many companies while searching for a wedding planner that could work with me and understand my vision. Once I met with Tara from Perfect Planning and looked over her past work, I knew she was the team for me. I had extremely high expectations and standards for my wedding. I wanted it to be an experience unlike any other for my guests. As a Project Manager and someone who pays close attention to details, many wondered why I even needed a wedding planner to provide full planning services to me. Let me tell you Tara was VERY much needed. We began our journey 14 months before the wedding. We worked together in creating each wedding detail. She was helpful in finding outstanding vendors to compliment my day. She jokes we me that I'm the most involved bride she has ever had. But, Tara made sure my day was FLAWLESS! No detail was overlooked. I didn't have to worry about anything. She assisted me with the rehearsal dinner and even brought everything back to our suite after the wedding. She is very professional and had a create deal of knowledge in the wedding planning business. Trust me you want your wedding in the hands of Perfect Planning! My high expectations were exceeded.

Tara and her team were by far one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. She was very thorough, meeting with us multiple times before the wedding, ensuring that we had all of our bases covered. Tara thought of things that hadn't even crossed my mind. She met with us and the hotel reception coordinator to be sure that everything was set and well organized. Tara was efficient and professional during the rehearsal dinner, going over everything enough times to make us all comfortable with the routine. On the day of my wedding, I worried about absolutely nothing. Tara had already proved that she was a pro and able to handle anything. My husband and I had so much fun all day long, and it would not have been possible without Tara and her team. If you are even considering hiring her, do it now before it's too late. I really can't express enough how great she is - you certainly won't regret it!

Tara was a GOD send. She was so professional yet approachable. She calmed me with not only her words but her actions. She's very direct, upfront and honest about everything in the wedding process. She assisted me with weeding out poor vendors who were expecting money upfront without a sound business deal or hyped delivery of what they could do. I really appreciated Tara's responsiveness to my emails and calls. She kept all her clients to include me organized. I never felt rushed, or double-booked. She kept me in the loop and last and certainly not least, the day before my wedding, Tara made me table themes exactly like I envisioned but could not do on my own. She has such great taste and exacting standards that her creations blew me away. I was totally not expecting what she provided. Her services at the ceremony were priceless. I am so glad she and her team were there. She knows what she is doing.

Hiring Perfect Planning was one of the best wedding related decisions I made. Tara is extremely pleasant to work with and is very professional and knowledgeable about the wedding business and area vendors. She understood exactly what I wanted and executed it better than I could have hoped. To top it off, her services are extremely reasonably priced. My husband and I were able to fully enjoy our perfect wedding day without any stress thanks to Tara and her team.

We hired Tara after using WeddingWire to identify and interview several other wedding planners. We were searching for a partial wedding planner to help us in the three months leading up to the event, after we had booked our reception venue, photographer, and church. After meeting Tara, we knew we had met our planner. She was courteous, but not a push over- a must when dealing with our large families. She had experience, but was open to our suggestions and really listened to our concerns. Tara assisted us with recommendations for floral, linen, and transportation vendors. She arranged meetings with the vendors and, when necessary, drew up contracts on our behalf. She worked with us to develop an overall plan for the event- tying up loose ends and finalizing decisions. She developed the schedule for the day-of and communicated it to the wedding party and vendors. She helped us assemble wedding favors, monitored our vendor payment schedule, and helped us avoid wedding-etiquette bombshells! She and her staff provided on-site coordination and saved the day when banquet coordinators at the reception site scheduled two events too close together, leaving inadequate time to prepare the room for our event. Tara and her staff stepped in and cleaned and decorated the room so the event remained essentially on schedule. They literally had brooms in-hand! Tara’s services were an excellent value for the money. She brought a team of three planners with her on the day of our event. She was friendly, flexible, and willing to go above and beyond her contract to make us happy. We highly recommend Tara. Get her while you can, because once she realizes what a deal she is giving you, it might be too late!

My husband and I hired Tara about a year and a half prior to our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Tara has great relationships with local vendors and was able to recommend companies that would suit all of our needs. She provided insight on the types of services the vendors provided, as well as arranged/attended our meetings with them and helped negotiate pricing. Tara always responded quickly to the many questions we had throughout the planning process and was extremely organized. On my wedding day, I didn't have to worry about things not going as planned, because I knew Tara was in charge and trusted she would handle any issues that arose. And she did. It was a wonderful, stress-free day thanks to her. We received many compliments from our guests on how smoothly the day went. Tara was a joy to work with and I would recommend her to any couple looking for wedding planning assistance.

Tara was amazing at covering all the details. We had the great pleasure of working with her for our wedding planning and day of. She helped us seek out great vendors and reviewed the contracts, tracked payments and our budget and made sure everything went off with out a single glitch. She's great under pressure and works really well with the vendors. I would highly recommend Tara to any bride thinking about getting a planner. You can't go wrong with her!

We hired Perfect Planning for Day Of planning. Tara and her team were truly amazing. They made our wedding day stress-free. They were so organized, making sure everybody knew where they were supposed to be when, as well as making sure all the pieces of the wedding were in place. We have been to weddings where there is no organization or scheduling or planning and they result in chaos. Not our wedding! Tara had everything mapped out well in advance and made sure we stayed on plan. She and her team handled everything on the day and we couldn't have asked for a more professional, friendly and fun-loving team! We enjoyed every moment of our wedding without having to worry about details, vendor questions or any problems that arose. I wouldn't have done it any other way!

Tara and her staff were amazing. They made sure everything was on time and took care of everything. My day was perfect and stress free. I did not have to worry about anything because Tara took care of it! She is amazing and on the day of the wedding she kept everything together with her staff. She is amazing and she is a true Wedding Planner. She was super organized! I would highly recommend this company.

Tara and her perfect planning team made the wedding of my dreams a reality. She assist with planning from A to Z providing me a list of awesome vendors to choose from whom played their part in my wedding. After trying to do the planning myself and giving up halfway in to enlist Tara this was the best choice I could have made to ensure a fabulous wedding. Weeks leading up to the wedding I had no stress in knowing Tara had everything covered. Day of the wedding and arrival at our ceremoney and reception venue it was more beautiful then I could have even imagined, everything was exactly as I wanted it and more. We had personal attendents whom made sure my husband and I were okay and we had everything and anything we needed. My wedding was May 13th, 2012, and to this day my guests are still talking about how fabulous it was, it makes me want to relive it again and again! I would recommend Perfect Planning to any bride who is looking to plan out a wedding large or small, Tara and her team takes the cake!!

We absolutely loved Tara and her team at Perfect Planning. Tara was definitely worth her weight in gold. I gave her 5 stars for everything because I can't think of any area that she wasn't great in. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Perfect Planning! Tara recommended vendors that were absolutely wonderful. Everything was so beautiful and everyone was so professional. She met with vendors with us and was always available via email and phone. She took care of all of the last minute details and allowed me to be a "stress-free" bride. Since I am a teacher and we got married at the beginning of the school year, all of my friends, family and coworkers expected me to be a wreck but I wasn't thanks to Tara and her team. Even from our first meeting with Tara, we knew that we wanted to work with her. If you want a classic, timeless and unforgettable wedding I strongly recommend choosing Tara as your planner.
