Perfect Setting Catering

We used perfect setting catering for our wedding this month and we were so incredibly happy with them! We worked with Nicole and Sara, and they were both so great to work with! Right after my very first phone call with Nicole, I knew I had to book them. She is so bubbly and personable and was so excited about our cinco de mayo wedding, and it made us so excited to book with them! Since it was on cinco de mayo, we had margaritas for our signature drink and a quesadilla bar during cocktail hour. People raved about both the margs and quesadillas!! Nicole had also suggested the grilled tequila chicken as a fun spring cinco entree, and it was amazing! All of the food was really so delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests saying how good all of the food was! Sara was our day of coordinator at the venue, and she was amazing too. She served my husband and I a plate of hors d’oeuvres at the start of dinner since we missed cocktail hour due to pictures. She even came to find me during our pictures to offer me a drink and got me a margarita to drink in between photo shoots :) She and all of the staff were constantly checking in with us throughout the night, making sure everything was running super smoothly. Perfect setting made everything super easy for us leading up to the wedding! There are so many decisions to make and it can be overwhelming at times, but Nicole did a great job in explaining everything super clearly and offering the best advice to help us make all of the right decisions. I can’t recommend perfect setting enough!!

The food is incredible!!! I got the steak and my husband got the stuffed chicken. If I could have taken a platter home, I would have. All of the guests raved about their entree. This company is professional and during the reception, the staff were awesome! Food was delivered in a timely manner, there were servers everywhere during cocktail hour offering food. Jerry was amazing. He constantly checked in on us during the reception to make sure we were okay and he coordinated the events during reception. He always checked into make sure we were okay with the schedule and if we were ready for the next step.

Perfect setting catering was the perfect vwndor for our October wedding! The food was wonderful and our cake turned out gorgeous! The staff and our wedding planner were particularly helpful in making all of our wedding dreams come true! We could not have been more pleased with our experience!

We worked with Sara Zalkind at Perfect Setting Catering for our wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased! Sara was amazing through the entire process and was always so helpful in answering all of my questions. The food tasting got us so excited, and the food on our wedding day was amazing. The cherry on top was hearing back from all of our guests after our wedding about how delicious the food was! I have been to a lot of weddings, and I often feel that the food is a little lackluster, but I truly think Perfect Setting stands out in this way. Everything was cooked perfectly and we were so impressed. I highly recommend going with Perfect Setting Catering for any and all of your catering needs!

Jerry and the entire Perfect Setting team are incredible! The food at our wedding was delicious- even our friends with limiting food allergies and dietary restrictions said so! I'm seriously still dreaming of the steak and risotto. Beyond the delicious food, Jerry and his team genuinely make the day less stressful. He is a wealth of knowledge and having him on site brought us peace of mind. Can't recommend highly enough!

I just had my wedding almost a month ago at Appleford. We only had 8 months to plan a wedding so we ended up choosing Perfect Setting Catering. Our point of contact was Sara. She seemed great and was easy to get in contact with via email so no problem with that. Here are the issues we had with them the day of our wedding. 1. I emailed Sara 4 months before our wedding to change one of our hors d’oeuvres from Lemon Ricotta Toast to Mini crabs cakes. She says she can certainly do that. Come the wedding day. She served my husband and I all of the hors d’oeuvres without the crab cakes and I noticed there was Lemon Ricotta Toast that was not supposed to be in our menu so I asked her if there was crab cakes. She says yes but come to find out from my family the next day who helped me pick out the menu that there wasn’t. They even checked with the servers and they all said no there isn’t. I emailed Sara a few days about it that I did not appreciate her not telling me the truth. She replied with it’s perplexing to her about the crab cake issue and that she was under the impression the crab cakes were passed during the cocktail hour. She says she’s confused that some of my guests were not served because it was in the food sheet which obviously wasn’t served because there was none. I’m not disappointed that there wasn’t crab cakes but it’s the fact that she lied to me twice. 2. They use Bredenbecks for the wedding cake which is already included in the package. We did the tasting which was fine but the day of the wedding. The cake looked pretty but it was dry as a desert. We did the cake cutting and when I ate it, it got stuck on the top of my mouth. I needed to have a drink to be able to swallow it. I know this isn’t their fault but I just want to warn other brides because they specifically work with this bakery. They also did not serve our guests the cake. They had to get it themselves. It was very embarrassing to my guest having to get their own cake that end up being dry anyway. 3. Last but not least. One of our signature drinks was French 75. I don’t know where they get their bartenders from but the French 75 was not French 75. I tasted nothing but lemon juice from the bottle which was every more nastier. We understand mistakes happens but when you’re spending thousands of dollars on a very special event. This type of mistakes shouldn’t happen and I surely didn’t have time to micromanage what was going on or spend time trying to, since it was my wedding day. Sara says she was going to reach out with the owner of Bredenbeck’s and get back to me which she never did. Customer service goes a long way and owning up to your mistakes is one of them to do damage control.

Jerry and his staff have been been 100% fantastic! from the First phone call to the wedding day I could have not been more pleased and happy with our experience with Prefect Setting. We had a longer experience then most would have with perfect setting due the Pandemic. Jerry through having to change our wedding day FOUR times Jerry was never upset and ready to make our Wedding day special. I would recommend Perfect Setting to any one and everyone. Thank you Perfect setting for going above and beyond our expectation's for the past two years of planning and planning and finally executing a wonderful wedding experience.

Jerry and his team did an absolutely knock-out job with our wedding. From our first meeting in 2020, we knew that Jerry was the right guy to trust for our big day. He was so knowledgeable and experienced that we were so assured he'd be able to handle any questions we had with no issue. Not to mention the food was absolutely incredible. The second time we went in to meet with Jerry 6 months before our wedding to review details, pick out linens and tableware, etc. we ended up chatting for almost 2 hours. Jerry made sure to take time to answer any and all questions we had, and even brought up some points that we hadn't even thought of for the day of the event. The day of the event, everything went seamlessly. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive and kind and Jerry was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. From the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres to dinner and dessert, our guests were raving about how good the food was. We are so so happy that we went with Perfect Setting and cannot wait to recommend them to family and friends so we can enjoy their delicious food in the future. Thank you!!

A lot of weddings have just so so food but my daughter's wedding was the happy exception. Everything was delicious and came out hot. Thank you for making it a great event!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! We are now 11 days removed from our wedding, and there hasn't been a day that has gone by that we haven't received some form of rave review of the Best Day...the food and food service being at the top of the list of compliments. Debbie & Sara (my wedding angel) were nothing short of fabulous from day one of inquiring about our date. They walked us through the process so gracefully and really helped to ease any sort of nerves that I had about how the day was going to run smoothly and exceptionally. Everyone that we encountered throughout the process of planning our day went above and beyond, and left us with the feeling that we had certainly picked the right place. The day of the wedding was nothing short of perfect. ALL of the food, from cocktail hour to dessert, was just as good (if not better) than anything we could have found at a top-rated restaurant. The food tasted just as wonderful for our 140 guests as it did for our private 2-person tasting, which seemed to be an incredible feat. Even beyond the quality of all the food, we (and all of our guests) were blown away by the entire team. Every single one of the servers, bartenders, and chefs was kind, attentive, efficient, FUN!, and polite. 10/10, could not recommend Perfect Setting enough. Best decision we made since deciding to go on our first date <3

We used PSC for a (large) pre wedding dinner at the Vue on 50. The entire team (including the owner Jerry) were delightful to work with. Our planner Nicole was exceedingly helpful and patient. And the food was terrific! Everyone enjoyed, and we received an abundance of compliments from our guests. Would unqualifiedly recommend PSC for your event.

Jerry and his team were just amazing from start to finish. I could not recommend them more highly. Jerry listens to what you want without trying to sell you more. They not only made our wedding more beautiful, but the food was amazing that many of the guests told me they loved afterwards. He was sure to make sure it was nut free for our guests with nut allergies. He introduced me to the cook and some of the staff, who were all very nice and guests also complimented how much they liked the staff. Even during the wedding day when a couple of things went wrong and plans changed, Jerry was cool, calm and collected as he rolled with everything going on. Jerry and his people are who you want for your big day!

Perfect Setting Catering was excellent from start to finish! We found them after our original venue closed six weeks before our wedding date. Nicole and the rest of her team were extremely responsive, worked with us to put our menu together and were very flexible and understanding of our situation. Because of the last minute changes, we didn’t get a chance to do a tasting but everything still turned out great. They also worked with Bredenbeck’s bakery for the cake & desserts (which we did get to taste) and they were also great. You definitely get your money's worth with Perfect Setting and one of our guests said that it was one of the best weddings, food wise, that they’d ever been to!

Perfect Setting could not have been better! Nicole provided extremely responsive and attentive customer service, ensuring that we were working side by side every step of the way. The staff was friendly and followed the decor directions perfectly in order to bring our vision to life. Last but not least, the food was BOMB. Typically food isn't discussed much once the drinks start flowing, but man--we received endless compliments on the quality of our meal. Remarkable quality at a reasonable price. Nicole and Perfect Setting are a huge part of what made our big day dang near perfect!

Perfect Setting catered our wedding at Hilltop House. Debbie was great to work with, and the food was delicious! There were tons of options to choose from, and we were really happy with the menu Debbie helped us put together. The catering staff were also friendly, attentive, and did a good job. The whole event came together beautifully! So we recommend Perfect Setting!

Nicole, the manager, is wonderful and patient. Her tried & true experience in the business allows her to be a source of guidance for your wedding catering needs. We had snapper, eggplant, filet, and chicken. The guests raved about the food and the stand out was the beef. It didn’t have that mass-produced wedding taste some food has at receptions.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our experience(s) were with Perfect Setting Catering. Between Deb, Jerry, and their team, they helped to craft what was the best 3-day wedding weekend we could have possibly imagined! They also had the BEST, most elevated menu we could find in the area of Villanova and it did not go unnoticed. Guests were treated with a full bar and wait staff for our rehearsal dinner held at Meadowbrook Estate, a wonderfully catered wedding at Appleford Estate, and a Farewell BBQ party that everyone is still talking about. Thank you Perfect Setting for helping to create an unforgettable weekend in celebration of our marriage!

Perfect setting was the best catering company I could have asked for! They went above and beyond to make us feel at ease both leading up to our wedding day and day-of. I would recommend them to anyone and will absolutely use them again should we host another event!

My husband and I got married at Appleford Estate in August 2021, and we chose Perfect Setting as our caterer. Our family and guests have been raving about the food for weeks. We were most impressed by their service (though the food was tremendous). As the bride and groom, we felt they did a great job at ensuring we were enjoying each course of the menu that we picked. My husband kept joking that they assigned us "secret service," who followed us around throughout the night with hors d'oeuvres and prepared us plates and drinks while we were mingling. We chose food stations (beef carving, seafood, and pasta), and our guests loved having many options to choose from. We were blown away by how delicious it all was. Thank you to Deb, Jerry, and their staff - we would recommend them to anyone!

We hired Perfect Setting for my daughters wedding 7/9/21. From the very beginning, Nicole was accommodating and wonderful to work with. We had several options to choose from listed by our venue. We chose Perfect Setting because the food was delicious but also because Nicole gave us a few add ons for free! The day of the wedding, she made sure we had everything we needed. The servers and bartenders were exceptional as well!!

The food was amazing and turned out great. Unfortunately they were not willing to work with us during Covid therefore they provide the food and we hired other people to take over. If you want someone to work with you during Covid I would not recommend this headache.

Everything was absolutely PERFECT!!! Everyone loved the food and was talking about it weeks later. I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

Perfect setting and Nicole in particular was WONDERFUL. They were very flexible and made postponing in a pandemic very easy, which this stressed out bride needed. The food was wonderful and the service was flawless. Definitely get the crabcakes! Nicole worked with my venue manager and hashed out details and made the whole day seamless. I can't say enough about them and would definitely hire them for another event.

"What would you like to eat?" A question every bride longs to hear and the question Deb Diehl asked. It was the most relieving question to have been asked amid the when, where, how, who myriad I was getting. She took me privately through Hilltop House and she made me feel like I was the owner of the whole property. We were planning a grand party and she was my personal assistant. I was never pushed or rushed or bombarded with emails and calls to make a decision or roped with "we have others interested." Even when my parents and I were running late on the day of our second tour she was understanding and spoke to my parents in detail everything as she had with me. We all were so welcomed and pleased to work with such a wonderful company and to know that there was no cookie cutter package or rules it would truly be MY wedding in anyway she could accommodate.

I can not say enough about Jerry and his team. My wedding day went off perfectly thanks to Perfect Setting (and all my other amazing vendors). The food was absolutely delicious - my guests are still talking about it, the plating was beautiful, the staff was unbelievably friendly, and I am still dreaming of their crab cakes. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Perfect Setting. They were just amazing. I can not say enough.

Jerry was a real pleasure to work with. He and his staff were genuinely friendly and hard working. Jerry was there for every moment, ensuring things went smoothly (even when an unexpected rainstorm hit during the ceremony). I felt at ease when I first met Jerry and am so grateful to have worked with them. Food was great-- would honestly be happy to receive at a restaurant. Highly recommend!

Magical! Everything was perfect; as the name indicates - the absolutely "Perfect Setting"!!! This was a second wedding for my now husband and I; we are older and wanted a joyous, fun event. In comes Perfect Setting....the service impeccable; staff friendly and accommodating; while unobtrusive and the food was delectable. And the loving care shown to our guests and especially to us as the bride and groom; there was even a plate of food given to each of us, so we were assured to eat! We felt so special that Deb was on site for our entire reception; we were so grateful she were there! Nothing was overlooked. Food was fabulous - we opted for heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert instead of a sit-down dinner. We wanted our guests to mingle, enjoy each other's company and partake of great food and drink. Our goal was for everyone to have a wonderful time and leave satisfied and happy. Success!!! We heard nothing but rave reviews about the food. We are thoroughly enjoying the leftovers right now; they were packaged perfectly to keep each selection fresh. And Deb gave us such sage advice on the amount of food needed and the type that would appeal most to our invitees. She also suggested amount of spirits for the number of guests - no guessing on our part. The desserts were amazing! We opted out of a wedding cake and went with cheesecake, chocolate dipped strawberries and lady kisses (almond macaroons, marshmallow and chocolate). The cheesecake came with various toppings, the chocolate surrounding the strawberries was just plain decadent and the lady kisses - I think I ate 10 of them myself. Absolutely exquisite and so delicious!!! As I mentioned previously, every detail was attended to - both during the reception and afterward. Left over hors d'oeuvres were packaged separately for our enjoyment afterwards. Even our champagne glasses were wrapped and tucked away in bubble wrap. This experience was nothing but pleasure. Our sincerest, heartfelt thanks to Deb and her staff. We will be recommending you to all of our friends.

LOOK NO FURTHER!! This cater is L.E.G.I.T. My husband and I got married at Brandywine Manor House on 8/18/18. We had the honor and privilege to work with Nicole Sigda. The food was absolutely delicious and we are constantly told my guests it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The service was fantastic and accommodating all night long. To top it off, the relationship we created with Nicole was unmatchable. She is the real deal and I couldn't have done our wedding planning without her!! Fantastic food, reliable staff and trustworthy friendships? What more can you ask for???!!! Thank you Perfect Setting!

Jerry Diehl deserves a medal. Maybe a trophy. I asked for 3 custom (and meaningful to us!) dishes, a truly unique seating assignment method and also completely changed the menu twice and Jerry made it happen. I put him through his paces and while I’m not sorry, I do hope he gets to take a vacation soon. His staff was attentive and thorough and played well with my other vendors, especially my planner. The inevitable hiccups were minor - the starter salad was a bit haphazardly composed and one of the main courses a tad dry. Overall, the only man and caterer for the job!

Nicole and Perfect Settings were great for our wedding. The food was awesome and they were very accommodating of the last minute change to move the ceremony inside. They kept things moving throughout the night and everyone was very happy with their meals. Leading up to the wedding Nicole was super flexible with scheduling and helping us pick out or food selections to have all our favorites. They were also accommodating of our Cookie Table and made sure everything looked beautiful! They were great to work with, their pricing fit our budget, and our guests were still impressed with the meal. Would highly recommend!

Jerry was superb to work with! The food was as delicious the day of as it was at our tasting. During the reception and cocktail hour, Jerry regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if we needed everything. His staff was also awesome about helping us to clean up all the decor after the party.

What an amazing company! Nicole and her team were simply wonderful. Unfortunately, our original caterer was unable to furnish the appropriate liability documents for the venue about a month prior to our wedding. I called Nicole who was able to match our original price and exceed our menu and taste expectations! They were organized, professional, welcoming, and kind. We could not have made the day a success without them. Nicole and Kathy were so sweet and went above and beyond to cater and organize a wedding for 150 people in 3 weeks. Wow! I used Perfect Setting Catering for my June wedding last year and Jerry and his team did a fantastic job! I didn’t have a coordinator or planner for the day of so Jerry really stepped up and delivered. He was very attentive to my needs throughout planning, deciding, and finally the day of. On top of that, the food was delicious! Lots of compliments on the pecan encrusted chicken and salmon. Perfect Setting also perfectly set (sorry I had to) the tables. It was everything I hoped for and more. Also, on the list of caterers I had to choose from, Perfect Setting was the most fairly priced, and my parents appreciated that :) Took me a while to get around to writing a review, but thank you Jerry and Perfect Setting Catering for making the day truly magical!

We LOVED Perfect Setting! Working with Deb Diehl was such a pleasure! She made sure that from the day we met her she attended to every detail assuring that we were getting exactly what we asked for. She patiently crafted the menu with me, taking into account all of my special requests and made all of my dreams for the day come true. And the food... INCREDIBLE! No one could stop talking about how delicious everything was from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees and desserts everything was impeccable. I HIGHLY recommend working with them! Deb will personally make sure you day goes smoothly and everything will be perfect! I am sure you will be as happy as we were with their services!

We had Deb and her staff catered our wedding in November at the Duportail House and they were amazing. Throughout the whole process, Deb was so helpful and gave us her professional opinion on our ideas but was always honest with us. She will be straight forward with you and that was something we appreciated because she wasn’t trying to up-sell us but stay within our means. We initially wanted to do food stations for the reception but after discussing with Deb we wound up going with sit-down dinner. Their prices were reasonable in our opinion and she was able to stay within the budget we initially set from the beginning. They also were able to help us setup for the reception and while our decorations were on the lighter side than most, that allowed us to enjoy our day. The food was amazing and our guests loved all the appetizers and entrée they served for dinner. We could not have been happier with Perfect Setting Catering and highly recommend them.

Overall, we were happy with Deb and Perfect Setting. The food was great, all of the guests loved it! We also had a S'mores bar that guests just raved about. The waiters/waitresses were professional and worked very hard to make sure guests were satisfied. One waitress followed us during the cocktail hour (when we were tied up with pictures) to make sure we had plenty to drink and even brought us some hors d'oeuvres to try. The reason we didn't give 5 stars is because Deb occasionally did not communicate well. This was a bit frustrating, especially right before the wedding, but we were eventually able to work through everything with her. On our wedding day, she handled a couple problems for us and as a result, everything went smoothly.

We first heard of Perfect Setting Catering through our wedding venue, Brandywine Manor House. They were one of a very exclusive list of preferred vendors due to their great reputation, high quality food, and exceptional service. During our initial consult and tasting, Deb was very engaging and professional and showed a lot of enthusiasm for getting to know us and our preferences. She accommodated some of our requests that we felt would make our wedding more intimate and unique such as having our own personal server during cocktail hour (thanks, Yvonne!) and serving the salad course family-style. She also offered to provide mini-ice cream cones at the end of the night, which were a huge hit with our guests. PSC worked very well with our venue and other vendors, which greatly helped the entire event flow smoothly. We had a lot of positive feedback on our cocktail hour and dinner entrée selections and our guests especially liked the friendly bartenders. We highly recommend them for your special day!

I loved Perfect Setting. The food was delicious, and the day of coordination was perfect, despite some last minute guest changes. They made the day of easy and care-free for me and the groom. They also helped us to coordinate with our other vendors (including helping us decide who to hire) and helped make the day perfect for us. I could not have been happier with them!

We enjoyed working with Jerry. Our guests were impressed that he came out to check on the food and ask if they were enjoying it. The food was excellent with very fresh ingredients. The servers were very attentive! Out of the many caterers we researched, we found that he provided the best value for the price.

Perfect Setting Catering was more than perfect for my wedding! Deb Diehl and her staff made all my dreams come true, and more! Right from the start, Deb was there as if a wedding Fairy Godmother. She was so supportive and helpful, going above and beyond to make me feel at ease. She always responded right away whenever I contacted her and was very patient when it came to answering all my questions. Many times, when I was stressing, Deb would say “don't worry...I'll take care of it” or “just leave it to me.” I am so glad I did :) From the very beginning, she worked with me every step of the way to make sure the food and venue set-up were just how I'd imagined. When the big day arrived, everything turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. I was so thankful to have Deb there acting as the coordinator, especially since my venue manager left right after the ceremony, putting everything on Deb's shoulders. This didn't throw her off her game at all because once you work with her, you'll see she's a professional. When she took over, the rest of the night ran like clockwork. She worked with the photographer and band to make sure everything went to schedule. She often checked on my husband and me to see if we needed anything, making sure we got the chance to eat the amazing food. Her staff was also outstanding - so polite and accommodating. And the food...unbelievable! Almost a month later, my guests are still talking about the delicious gourmet comfort food that Deb created, especially the pot pies. I could write a book about how thankful I am that I used Perfect Setting and Deb for my wedding. I can't imagine having to go through the planning of a wedding without her! I can't recommend Perfect Setting enough. Thank you for everything, Deb!

Perfect Setting Catering was the perfect choice for our wedding and Jerry Diehl was fantastic! Our cocktail hour and wedding reception went off flawlessly. From the beginning, Jerry from Perfect Setting Catering was so fun to work with...he was always light-hearted and made planning our wedding stress free. Since the caterer is pretty much the most expensive vendor you will hiring, you want to work with someone who you know will do an outstanding job...Jerry if your man! Perfect Setting Catering exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing and just as delicious at the wedding as it was at the tasting. The service was on point--I can't even tell you how many guests complimented us on the food and said how impressed they were with how attentive the servers were. Additionally, Jerry worked with us to make sure we were happy with our food selections, signature cocktails, etc. and everything was exactly as we wanted. Jerry and his team at Perfect Setting were fantastic to work with and exceeded our expectations. Jerry was so helpful and accommodating during the months of planning leading up to the wedding. He had so many great ideas and suggestions to make sure our wedding was exactly as we had imagined and stress-free. We had the wedding at our home so he came out the day before to make sure everything was ready to go and immediately clammed any nerves we had. His design team created beautiful displays and his staff was attentive and professional the whole night. We got many compliments on the food and service. We highly recommend Perfect Setting!

Perfect Setting was one of the handful of preferred vendors provided to us by our venue. After meeting with Jerry, we knew they would be great to work with, so we scheduled our tasting. We selected our entrees, hors d'oeuvres and salad choices, and these items were prepared for us to sample. We were blown away by how amazing the food was and knew instantly we would go with them for our big day. After many months of back-and-forth, Jerry helped perfect our food choices, seating arrangements and overall game plan for the evening. He was able to accommodate all of special requests for certain guests, adapt to any last minute alterations and gave us a great deal on our cake via Bredenbeck's Bakery. Thanks to Jerry, our evening went without a hitch. Many of our guests and family members continue to talk about the fantastic service and food Jerry and his staff provided!

Laurey was an absolute joy to work with. She was able to get a feel for the vibe we were going for and came up with creative ideas without breaking the budget. The food was INCREDIBLE, people still rave about it. She made the whole night seamless and coordinated with our other vendors. She responds immediately, is super reliable and thinks of everything! The staff was incredible as well, they were there early helping out and even assigned someone to me (the bride) to follow me with food and drinks so I could sample all of our delicious items at cocktail hour.

My new husband and I can't say enough good things about Perfect Setting and our work with Jerry. He was always easy to get into contact with, answered all questions, made time to meet with us and worked so hard to fit his business into our budget. Since we didn't live in the area, we were very nervous about spending a lot of money on a caterer we didn't know or hadn't heard about. When the wedding day came, we got compliments from all of our guests about how amazing the food was, and what a well run event it was. We couldn't have done this without Jerry! Catering can get expensive, but knowing that a skilled professional is in control, makes every dollar worth it. You will not regret one cent you spent on this caterer!

Perfect Setting was the perfect choice for our wedding and Jerry Diehl was fantastic! Our wedding went off perfectly. We got many, many compliments on the food, especially the vegetables! (which is a very hard thing to get so many compliments on). I think the chicken was personally my favorite. We both appreciated how much Jerry were involved with every aspect of the evening, and in helping calm us down in November when we both realized there were many things we hadn't thought about. He was basically our wedding planner that night! From coordinating everything with the DJ, with the museum, and even queuing the girls to walk down the aisle. All of that meant a lot to us. We also appreciated the help deciding what to stock the bar with because we wouldn't have known what to buy without it! At the reception, having drinks and dinner brought right to us so that we could enjoy the food while still having time to make our way around the room and greet all of our guests. I would definitely recommend Perfect Setting to all newly engaged couples in the Philadelphia area and I know we would hire them all over again!

I cannot say enough good things about Jerry and Perfect Settings! Throughout our planning, Jerry was so flexible and willing to do anything and everything we wanted to make our day perfect. We tasted the food at his office and everything was delicious but you never know how good it will taste when you are on location and mass producing the food. I made sure to take the time to sit down and eat during my wedding and I was blown away at how great the food really was. Jerry's staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests had everything they needed through every step of the wedding. On top of that, they assigned a waitress to deliver my husband and I cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and dinner during the wedding to make sure we got to eat amidst all the commotion. All night, my guests were asking who my caterer was because they were really impressed. Thanks for everything you did to make my day so special!!

Perfect Setting Catering far exceeded our expectations and desires for our wedding day. We really believe that it was because of this catering company that we had such a fantastic day! It was unbelievable how perfect every last detail of our wedding was. Everything was easy and flawless with Perfect Catering from the beginning to the end. The first time we met with Jerry, we walked out of the meeting saying how professional, witting and great he seemed. From there, he helped us narrow every last detail down to what would work the best for us as a couple. Over the next few months, he answered my endless e-mails and questions rapidly and never let a question go unanswered. Our tasting was delicious--and the food at the wedding tasted the same, if not better! It's hard to really remember all of the details from the day of, but I did not worry about anything the whole day because I knew Jerry could handle anything. All of our guests were blown away by the professionalism of his whole team. They were considerate, happy, hard working and helpful. The dinner was served in a seated style and all of the guests were served very quickly. Everyone kept telling us how amazing the food was. We were thrilled with how happy everyone was! Then there were the little things that I never expected and was delighted with. They paid extra special attention to the groom and I during the whole evening-asking us if we needed anything. During cocktail hour, when we were getting our pictures taken someone was there with the hors d'oeuvres/cocktails for us to make sure we didn't miss anything! Neither one of us had to ask for anything the whole night. They saw that we didn't really touch our dinner because we were so busy with the guests so they gladly packed us full servings for later! It was so nice to eat back at the hotel when everything was done. Perfect Setting Catering made our wedding: organized, flawless, fun, delicious and perfect. It's really impossible to list everything that I loved about this Caterer. If you choose them, you will NOT regret this decision at all! I would choose them again for anything and would recommend them to anyone getting married out there!

Many months before our daughter's wedding we arranged a tasting at Perfect Setting in Berwyn. Event coordinator Laurey Ford guided us through the meal, asking the engaged couple about their hopes and preferences. What sold us was Laurey's obvious grasp of our concerns. We immediately felt a rapport with her; her friendly and approachable manner made her a joy to work with. Long before the wedding day Laurey was totally involved in our details, making suggestions and helping us envision how it would look and work. The payoff: a beautifully realized wedding day. Perfect Settings' competent and pleasant staff delivered everything we were promised, delicious food, smooth service, seamless transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception to efficient clean up. Laurey was on duty the entire day of the wedding, functioning like a wedding planner (our wedding pix show her opening the doors for the bride's grand entrance). The wedding party had a staff member assigned to us to make sure we were continuously supplied with drinks, hors d'oeuvres etc. Special attention was paid to the bride and groom to make sure they ate! We got many compliments from wedding guests about the food, especially the espresso rubbed beef tenderloin entree. Perfect Setting accommodated us when we had to extend the reception by a half hour because the dance party was still bumpin'. They had to bill us for extra staff time but the cost was reasonable. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing!
