Zaro Celebrations' Custom Ceremony Services
At Personalized Ceremonies by Rev. Zaro, we design your ceremony to reflect your wishes. It will be a moment in time that you and your guests will remember as both romantic and personal. Your ceremony will be put together with the focus on the two of you, romance, your family and friends, spiritual elements (optional), and other special moments. You can write your own vows or we can do that for you. You may choose to have readings, which can be from movies, music, books, poetry, spiritual resources, original works, etc. If you wish to have a sand, candle, time capsule, wine sharing, glass breaking, ketubah signing, stone formation, or other special section of your wedding, that is included in most of our packages. You just supply the items. We don't charge extra to include the wording. We don't supply the items though because we know how much thought goes into picking color schemes and themes. We would be happy to recommend local pros and suppliers to help find what you need. If you are looking for an elopement, mini or microwedding location in the Hudson Valley, we have great news! We have partnered with several venues in the area to offer you package rates, with our fee, the site fee, and other elements included, such as flowers, catering, photography and/or music. For couples seeking marriage preparation, we offer the additional option of customized Prepare/Enrich relationship assessments and sessions leading up to your wedding day. She got to know us even in a short amount of time and really asked us about ourselves, our relationship and what our idea for our wedding ceremony was. Lisa took the time to really speak to us and really get to know us. A month or so before the wedding Lisa reached out to us via email and gave us hints and tips for our wedding. She explained what we needed as far as the license was concerned, how to get it and asked what she could do to help us with anything else. The day of the wedding came and the ceremony was amazing. She put in little parts about our life and our relationship and really structured the ceremony around us. She even stopped the ceremony for a moment because my contact lense fell out and then a while later my fake eyelash was falling off (she saved the day and pulled my maid of honor on the fly to help, , thank you so much for that Lisa!) Lisa was not just our ceremony officiant but a friend to us. She is a genuine beautiful person with so much love in her heart for couples and loves what she does. ling skype meetings and phone calls in order to get to know us a little bit, and to talk about plans for our ceremony. She almost always responded to emails within 2 days, only once or twice did I need to send a follow up email to make sure she had received the one prior to it. She incorporated everything we asked for in our ceremony (which was a lot) and she had suggestions/answers whenever we had questions. Everything in our ceremony flowed beautifully and felt very personal, despite only having met us via skype and email! She also made sure to give us the proper info on when and how to apply for a marriage license, and took care of sending the form out once everything was signed. Both my husband and I were extremely happy with our ceremony, and look forward to watching the video recording of it in the future!

so comfortable with everything. The e-mails that we received on a constant basis helped guide us as to what to do next and make sure we didn't miss any important steps (like getting a marriage license, how to change the last name, etc).
Rev Zaro made our ceremony exactly what we wanted it to be. Simple, 20 min, have a few light/funny moments, and incorporate a few aspects of the traditional catholic marriage. They also really get to know you as a couple to make the ceremony personalized like they have known you for a while. We got a lot of compliments on the ceremony and how it all flowed.

Through the entire process she was organized with reminders and guides for us to make sure we had everything we needed for the ceremony, like the wedding license. At both the rehearsal and the ceremony she was a calming presence and made sure that everyone knew exactly where they needed to be.
We received a lot of compliments on how personal and "us" Lisa made the ceremony and we are overwhelmingly grateful for what a delight she was to work with.
