Rev. Zaro was absolutely wonderful. She performed our elopement ceremony in April. Lisa answered all my questions and during the ceremony she incorporated special moments from my husband and I lives. I would highly recommend Lisa Zaro to perform your wedding/elopement ceremony. ❤️

Lisa was wonderful to work with. She took the time to get to know us, and used stories we told in our ceremony. We had a short 15 minute ceremony but even so, Lisa made it warm and heartfelt. She even helped us with our vows. I highly recommend using Lisa!

Lisa was a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was very helpful and communicative every step of the way, including writing our vows and the marriage license. She made sure we were fully prepared for our big day, and I could tell she was genuinely happy for us! Sadly, the day before our wedding, Lisa had told us that her father passed away suddenly. Although she was happy to still provide the service for us, she did not want anything to distract us from our special day. Lisa quickly came up with a plan for her husband Joe, who is also an officiant, to officiate our ceremony. We met Joe the day of our wedding and he exceeded all of our expectations, and was kind and professional! He did exactly what we had discussed with Lisa and the whole process was perfect from start to finish. They are a great pair who truly love what they do! Lisa is one of the best officiants we’ve seen! She is warm, helpful, and has a great sense of humor. She turned the unexpected surprises of our ceremony into something humorous and really special. She incorporated the themes, readings, and quotes that we’d requested, and she wove it all together beautifully. My husband and I are glad that we chose Lisa as our officiant! Well I can say this, if you forget your rings and have no idea what the heck is going on Lisa will make sure you don’t freak out 😂 she was one of the nicest people I’ve met. She made sure everything went smooth for the ceremony, which was beautiful. She did exactly what we asked for (which for us was short and sweet)

Lisa was a wonderful officiant. We wanted a very personal ceremony and Lisa gave us just that. She had us fill out a detailed questionnaire including how we met, first date, & more. Lisa provided us with a flexible structure and offered to send us recommendations for readings if we wanted them. She is a very kind, personable, and down to earth. She get’s to know her couples on a personal level so she can give them the most beautiful ceremony they can imagine. It is clear that she loves what she does.

We hired Lisa as our officiant and she did a great job guiding us through the process to design a wedding ceremony that felt just right for us. She asks the right questions to ensure she strikes the right tone and incorporates the personal details you want, and has processes in place to ensure it all runs smoothly on the day. Day-of, we had some technical hiccups with the PA system which she handled with humor and grace.

Reverend Lisa was perfect for our occasion. She was very intent on identifying what our ideal ceremony would look like, and was able to match her delivery exactly to our tastes. The ceremony itself was personable and eloquent.

Our wedding was 10/30/21. We had the BEST time ever. Lisa was awesome to work with and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. She wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and our guests loved the engagement story she told about us!

Lisa somehow pulled our lovestruck ramblings prior to the ceremony into a coherent story of our engagement and wedding vows that suited us perfectly. She was flexible and made it fun with special personal touches tailored to our interests and personalities. She rolled with our humor and didn’t miss a beat when she got an unexpected answer and humorous answer of ‘No’ mid ceremony. This allowed us to feel more relaxed and really enjoy the moment of joining together in marriage. When it started to drizzle during the ceremony, Lisa was able to keep things moving without us feeling rushed. Lisa was incredibly personable and was key in really putting us in the frame of mind to appreciate the event as a meaningful part of our new life together. Outside of being our officiant, my overall impression of Lisa is that she is a wonderful, caring, and empathetic person. We had a great experience working with Lisa as our officiant. We decided to plan our wedding on short notice and were referred to Zaro ceremonies by another local vendor. After we spoke with Lisa we felt good about working with her to plan our ceremony. Even though we didn't have much time to put things together she was always responsive, helpful and patient and managed to make time to speak with us in advance so that we could develop a ceremony that met our preferences. It turned out to be truly lovely and very personal and special.

Our wedding got cancelled due to the pandemic rev Lisa took this news with ease. She was calm and so wonderful about finding us a new date within her schedule. We decided to still get married this year and have our party next year. Rev Lisa socially distanced during our ceremony but was very warm and kept our elopement style service beautiful with funny and loving touches. I got married this Friday and Rev. Lisa was our Officiant. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. Her compassion and professionalism made our day that much sweeter. She ALWAYS got back to us right away and was so helpful with suggestions and alternative ideas. It was a huge plus that she also offers help finding any other vendor you may need along with extras such as photo booths too. The ceremony itself could not have been any better. She got to learn about us as individuals and as a whole and really took the time to make a personalized and special read. For example, me and my husband's favorite band is tool and she actually took the time out to find a way to incorporate them into the ceremony. She read an excerpt from Part of Me. It blew our minds and made it so fun. When it came time to mention my late father I was so nervous I was going to just ball my eyes out in front of our guests, but she knew how to bring the mood back up respectfully and professionally. Lisa Zaro may have only spent a short time with us on that day but it had a big and beautiful impact on our overall experience. I'd gladly and highly recommend her to all our friends and anyone looking to have a fun and special ceremony.

Rev. Zaro was terrific! Leading up to our wedding, my now wife and I had several phone calls with her to discuss how we met, our hobbies, our lives, etc. After getting a sense of the style of readings we wanted, she sent us an abundance of samples to choose from. This all culminated into a wonderfully personal ceremony with the perfect balance of love and humor. We were easily able to coordinate this despite being 3 time zones away. She was professional, responsive, thoughtful, with careful attention to detail including bringing backup copies of our vows. I would highly recommend Rev. Zaro!

Rev Zaro was the officiant for our wedding, and she did a beautiful job! She co-officiated our interfaith LGBT wedding, which was a task we were very careful in picking our officiants for. She worked with our Rabbi to craft the most beautiful and personal ceremony we could have asked for, and was extremely interested in what we wanted to include and in learning about who we are as a couple. It was a perfect mix of heartwarming, funny, and sentimental. She made the ceremony everything we could have ever wanted!

My husband and I planned an our of state wedding from 6 hours away. The whole experience was surprisingly easy because we just went with what felt right for us. My Husband and I were married a week ago on November 3. 2018. We choose to have the lovely Rev Lisa Zaro be our officiant. A few months ago, after emailing and phone calls we finally met Lisa in person. She met myself, my husband and my daughter. We met with her for a few hours and in that time I felt like we were old friends. She got to know us even in a short amount of time and really asked us about ourselves, our relationship and what our idea for our wedding ceremony was. Lisa took the time to really speak to us and really get to know us. A month or so before the wedding Lisa reached out to us via email and gave us hints and tips for our wedding. She explained what we needed as far as the license was concerned, how to get it and asked what she could do to help us with anything else. The day of the wedding came and the ceremony was amazing. She put in little parts about our life and our relationship and really structured the ceremony around us. She even stopped the ceremony for a moment because my contact lense fell out and then a while later my fake eyelash was falling off (she saved the day and pulled my maid of honor on the fly to help, , thank you so much for that Lisa!) Lisa was not just our ceremony officiant but a friend to us. She is a genuine beautiful person with so much love in her heart for couples and loves what she does. Thank you so much, Lisa for being a friend to us on our wedding day and every other time as well. We felt as if we had known Lisa for a long time and felt as if we were friends who picked up again after not seeing each other for a while. It is rare to find a person like Lisa. Any couple would be so lucky to be able to have Lisa officiate at their wedding.

We picked Lisa not only based on her previous reviews but after talking with her, we knew she was the right choice. We were looking for a ceremony with spiritual/religious accents but that was also about our relationship. Lisa was very thorough and gave us the ability to customize everything while providing her expertise to make our ceremony as perfect as it could be, and very reasonably priced too.
