We hired Petal Creek Events in 2021 for our July 2023 wedding.
If you're hesitant about getting a wedding planner or wedding coordinator, we highly recommend hiring Petal Creek Ev...
ents! They helped us remember things we never would have thought of, helped us come up with new ideas, and made our day run smoothly!
We picked out our own vendors for the most part. However, Alyssa and Ray introduced us to new vendors we would have never found on our own. Some of these being the florist and our caterer. We seriously do not know what we would have done without these teams. They were exceptional and worked well together.
Also, we had a few family members that were not allowed at the ceremony or reception under any circumstance and the team had my back. We were so nervous that these people would show up, however, we would not have even known if they showed up or not because Alyssa had everything together. Seriously, she's the bomb!
If we had to give any critiques, we would say the following:
Ray was unable to attend our wedding due to her family member getting married. This was totally understandable! However, we feel her fill in did not bring the energy we were looking for.
One of our main priorities the day of the wedding was to get detail shots of the invitations, perfume, my shoes, veil, etc. This was one of my must haves! When we were dropping decor and other things off with Alyssa the day before, she told me "That (the details box) should still be in your dad's car! I told Jose to grab it when y'all arrive to the church". We really just wish that she took the details the day before because Jose (Ray's replacement) never remembered to grab it and the Bridesmaids and I ran a little behind so there was no time to take pictures of the details anyway. If it was with him the day before, we could have gotten those shots while the photographer was waiting instead of the items being stuck with me in the car. It's definitely one of our biggest regrets from the day of.
Overall, if you're looking for wedding planners/wedding coordinators, these are your girls! Their attention to detail is awesome and they help you when things don't go the way you expect. For us, we had to end the night almost 2 hours earlier than expected. No one even realized that we were cutting the night short because Alyssa made the night run smoothly. She also packaged our food, decor, and so much more.
If we ever need help with an event in the future, we will definitely be hiring Petal Creek Events and you should too!
WOW where do I even begin to start?! Alyssa and Ray were so beyond incredible! They truly thought of ever little details the month leading up to the wedding and ensured our wedding...
day went according to plans. I could not imagine what our day would have been like without these ladies! They were so attentive to all of our needs and always made sure we had a drink in our hand on our big day. If you are considering Petal Creek Events for your wedding planner you will not regret it!! It was so nice to have Alyssa and Ray assisting with all wedding details and vendors on wedding day! They made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and exceeded my expectation. They absolutely knocked it out of the park. I thought it would be hard for me to let go of control and let someone else handle all day of details, but these ladies put my mind to ease! Thank you both for every single thing that you did months leading up to the wedding and on wedding day!! We loved working with Petal Creek Events and will recommend them to everyone we know for wedding planning. We couldn't have pulled off our 220 guest count without these two! So incredible and highly highly recommend.
Incredible! Stellar! Astonishing! Marvelous!!! All these strong, descriptive words of their spectacular accomplishments and they still seem to fall short on how amazing Ray and A...
lyssa truly are! Talk about women who "get it" and knows how to get it done!!! I'm extremely type A when it comes to party planning and it's extremely hard for me to give up that control, especially with it being for my own wedding! But I really didn't want to feel like me or my family/friends were working during this event, so luckily I found these lovely ladies in a Facebook group I follow. They were out of my price range AND they were not the cheapest to contact me, but after several back and forth messages... I knew they were the key to the stress free wedding I was so hoping to have. They have these larger than life smiles and a personality and dedication that can make even a rainy, outdoor ceremony (yup... it rained folks!!! lol) seem like it was planned that way. They seriously thought of everything without me having to say a word!!! They took my dream of my very "extra" backyard wedding and helped make it a reality! It was beautiful and where rainbows are made! At the end of my flawless wedding... I literally was telling them "just take all my money" lol they earned it all and so much more! From all communications with all the vendors, calling the shots for all the last minute changes due to rain... trust me, you want someone you can trust to make those decision without calling the bride/groom for everything! They completed all the decorating and cleaned up at the end of the night! What the heck more could you want??? Quick... hire these wonderful ladies before your date is no longer available! ;)
Ray and Alyssa were amazing! All the way through from our first meeting to the wedding day they were always one step ahead of me. They thought of absolutely everything! Our wedding...

d a mini panic attack but instead I decided to post on FB that I needed a Day of Coordinator ASAP. Alyssa was the first one to jump in and messaged me, and I just knew by the professionalism and knowledge about their business and how they run things that I wanted to meet them right away. We met them the next day and we just knew we wanted them coordinating our wedding day and I will never regret choosing them for my day!!!
Our wedding day was perfect and it was because they made our day stress free and they took care of everything that could’ve ruined things. All my vendors kept telling me that my coordinators were super nice, organized and that they were not rushing them like other coordinators do, which I was very thankful to hear that! Until this day I still believe God put them in my path and I’m so glad he did because they are just amazing at what they do. I’m not lying when I’m telling you that they are THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
