Wow. Just... WOW!! Petal's Edge has been a dream to work with from Day 1, and it is hard to put into words just how grateful we are. Gerry read our minds and put into a design the vague words we used to describe what we wanted. Following our consultation, we wrote an incredible proposal that was what we wanted, exactly to a T. When I asked about incorporating Origami cranes into the décor, she designed this amazing ceremony piece that combined the paper cranes into our ceremony arch in a way that can only be described as an art installation. It was truly one of my favorite elements. Their talent and imagination are so evident. Gerry was also extremely responsive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. She sees the big picture in the most perfect way, and her advice was always spot on. I loved all of our flowers, from our bouquets to the centerpieces. Truly our vision come to life! I highly recommend Petal's Edge to anyone getting married or wants their flowers to take there wedding just beyond.

Gerry and her team were fantastic to work with from the very beginning of our wedding planning process! Gerry captured the exact feel and look that we wanted for our big day, and guests were in awe of her arrangements! She was very responsive throughout the entire process and even when there was a last minute hiccup with the layout of the floor plan Gerry was flexible and worked quickly to pivot and deliver a new design that I loved. We hired Petal's Edge for our October wedding at the Hotel Monaco. I LOVED working with Gerry. Petal's Edge was the first florist I met with, and I hired them immediately. Gerry is made me feel at ease with planning and is so knowledgable and accommodating. She worked with me through several changes to budget, vases and flowers, all while making the process exceedingly painless. Our flowers on the wedding day were stunning and exactly what I had hoped! Now I need another reason to hire them again!

First of all, I live in Boston, MA, and only spent one day in DC to plan our special day. From that day on, despite the distance, I felt completely confident that I was in the most capable and caring hands. Gerry has an incredible sense of style and vision for one-of a kind elegance and stylish decor. I was amazed! EVERYTHING was beautiful! They even built a custom escort wall for the wedding and band front. The linen suggestions and flowers, as well as other details, lent the most sophisticated aura to our spring garden party.

I cannot recommend the team at Petal's Edge enough! From the very first meeting, I felt like Gerry understood our vision for the wedding. And yet she took our ideas and enhanced them without changing them. They were helpful, practical, and supportive throughout the entire process, and we would couldn't have been happier with the results. Highlights include a gorgeous arch for the ceremony and the most stunning reception decor. We especially loved how the chuppah flowers became a beautiful element for our sweetheart table. I started the design process with a color scheme and a few ideas, but Petal's Edge elevated those ideas without changing their essence in ways I could not have imagined. For our ceremony in the round, they designed an incredible suspended piece. I teared up when I walked into the space. Petal's Edge was, in one word, INCREDIBLE for my spring DC wedding! Gerry worked closely with me to create a design that was absolutely gorgeous and spent considerable time on the phone walking me through possible design ideas, flowers, and where we could reuse flowers. I also did a complete re-work of the color scheme about 3-4 months out which Gerry handled like a pro. I really appreciated that Gerry tried to keep our budget in mind and suggested cost saving strategies throughout the process. I felt like I could really trust her expertise throughout the process and felt confident the arrangements would be beautiful going into the day. When the day came, I was completely floored with how gorgeous my bouquet was. She truly brought my vision to life where I asked for specific things (like a touch of blue, for example) and also used her amazing artistic talent to bring together amazing flower combinations. Petal's Edge was the first vendor we hired for our wedding and we are SO glad we did. Gerry (the owner) seamlessly moved venues and dates with us. We had a microwedding/elopement this past weekend and Gerry did my bridal bouquet and a boutonnière. She was super responsive to my initial inquiry and worked with me to create a bouquet I loved. We booked Petal's Edge in 2019 for our planned April 2020 wedding. I had one or two reference photos of an aesthetic that I really liked, but no real solid sense of what I wanted aside from that. After our initial consultation, Gerry put together a proposal with whimsical wildflowers that really created a vision of our wedding that I was very excited about. Then 2020 came along, and we ended up postponing our April wedding until September. Throughout everything, we were always able to touch base and check in with Gerry as 2020 progressed, and the pandemic life kept going. When our postponed, pandemic wedding finally happened, our planned Spring flowers made our new Fall wedding so bright and colorful. The flowers were perfect, my bouquet was stunning, and I couldn't have been happier. Despite the craziness of this year, our smaller wedding provided us a reason to celebrate and at least see some (socially distanced) friends and family. I truly feel so lucky that we booked Petal's Edge for our wedding. All of the flowers for the ceremony and reception made everything just so beautiful, both on the day and in all of the wedding photos to look back on afterwards.

Finding a florist was difficult for me until I spoke with Gerry Rogers. I had spoken with 5 other florists over the phone and when I spoke to Gerry I just felt immediately she was gonna be the one to help me make my venue beautiful and she EXCEEDED expectations. She wanted to meet me in person and I live 1.5 hours away and it was SO worth it for a first meet. I signed a contract the next day! She brought my vision to life and I felt her prices were excellent. Her flowers were fresh, bright, beautiful and lavish! she was very responsive over email and set up our venue with ease.

Cannot rave enough about Gerry and her team at Petal's Edge. From the very moment I emailed her an initial inquiry, asking if she had my date free, Gerry was incredibly responsive, helpful, insightful and informed. Their pricing is reasonable (I spent more on flowers than any other element, aside from venue), and I feel I got every penny's worth! Gerry made our wedding day so perfect! We hired Petal's Edge not only for flowers but also for day of coordination. All I can say is that it was everything and more than we imagined it would be, and it wouldn't have been possible without Petal's Edge. The flowers for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous!

Wow - I would choose Petals' Edge Design a million times over. Gerry was beyond exceptional to work with. I initially called Gerry as soon as I got engaged to set up an appointment and was nervous about the florals as I'm not a design expert and didn't want to spend $10K on a wedding planner to put together a design scheme. Gerry took me off the ledge by reassuring me that I didn't need a "design scheme" and that our wedding venue (Top of the Town) needs very minimal decor as the venue has floor to ceiling windows and is the decor in it of itself. I appreciated Gerry more than she'll ever know when we had that initial conversation. It was the thing I worried about most - not having a designer's eye and wanting the event to look "cohesive'. When I met Gerry in person, it reinforced what I already knew. I wanted to work with her! One of her many talents is being able to translate all of my buzz words: "classic", "chic", "elegant", "pop of color", "bridal", "sophisticated" into flowers and color palettes. Gerry's proposal was flawlessly put together. She took all of my abstract concepts and put them together meticulously well. Another thing that I appreciated immensely, was Gerry being amenable to my budget and not upselling/cross-selling at any point. At no point was she making me feel insecure for not having something. She reminded me that a decade ago, people got married without wedding planners, and without an extravagant wedding budgets, and everything turned out just fine. When I asked her if I would be "remiss not to having something". She said that, "I don't *need* to have anything, but if I *want* to have it, she's happy to add. Her voice of reason was so calming and reassuring. A true professional. I would re-hire Gerry and her team in an instant for any event. She's my wedding designer floral angel.

I absolutely loved having Petals Edge do my wedding flowers. Gerry was very accommodating and was able to turn what I was picturing in my head and making it a reality (especially when I decided to change two of my wedding colors 4 months away from the wedding). I especially loved how she was able to incorporate shamrocks into every single floral arrangement, from the bouquets, to the boutonnieres, to the centerpieces. It really helped incorporate the "Irish elements" that we were going for, since our wedding was 6 days after St. Patrick's Day. We worked with Gerry at Petal's Edge for our wedding and are so pleased with the experience. I do not know anything about flowers and live in London, so Gerry was able to work with the pictures I sent her and understand the atmosphere I wanted to create. She also worked within my budget, providing great recommendations on what we could do within it and what may be less important. Gerry also provided candles for an elegant tablescape. With very little input from me, Gerry understood what I wanted and made everything look perfect on the day!

Gerry from Petal's Edge did a great job with our flowers and our vision. She hadn't even seen the bridesmaids' dresses but I explained our color scheme and the bouquets matched perfectly. I loved my Ivory Vendela rose bouquet as well, very beautifully done and it was so nice that she delivered them directly to us at the hotel. The centerpieces were beautiful as well and incorporated all I had wanted, it was helpful that we saw a sample beforehand and were able to tweak anything if we needed to. I would definitely recommend Petal's Edge, they were prompt in their responses to questions I had, and delivered a great product.

Gerry was absolutely great to work with. Even though I had the initial consultation with Rebecca, who is no longer with the company, Gerry seamlessly picked up right where she left off. I showed her photos of what I wanted based on their previous work and everything turned out great! When I met with her about requesting additional flowers, she suggested reusing the MOH bouquet and chair poises for those areas, which definitely saved me money! She even delivered to three separate locations (for an additional fee, which I thought was worth it) on time and made sure to call beforehand. When she delivered my personal flowers she also helped add some photos of my deceased father to the bouquet. She transferred the florals from the ceremony site to the reception site, which again saved on purchasing additional floral arrangements, and set everything up in time before my guests arrived. My only recommendation would be to make sure you send her a follow up email after meeting in person. I met with her at the end of July and thought everything was confirmed, but as I didn’t follow up in writing it wasn’t final. She accepted the few changes even though we were less than a month away from the wedding, which I was very grateful for! I would definitely use her services again!

Gerry knows what she is doing. Just listen. I had one idea and when I received the flowers it was a little different than I expected (not much though). Now that I look at my photos I am so glad I went to Petal's Edge. The floral arrangements in the wedding party look amazing in the pictures, as if Gerry knew exactly what flowers and colors would look the best in that exact setting with my color scheme. It was truly beautiful work and very high quality. I have no regrets at all!

We were so thrilled with our beautiful flowers from Petal’s Edge for our wedding on 5/27/18. We had originally signed our contract with Rebecca of Petal’s Edge last fall and trusted her vision for our floral needs, so we were a bit nervous to learn she left the company a couple of months before our wedding. Gerry communicated with us to give us reassurance and sure enough everything was absolutely beautiful on the day of our wedding! I truly loved my bouquet!

Petals edge was exceedingly helpful. We wanted an unusually rustic look to pair with our colonial museum setting lanterns, but I’d chosen the least accommodating color for flowers in nature. Blue. Petals edge came up with dashing thistle dominant arrangements that complimented the blue and silver yet still went well our lanterns and even managed to provide decoration for our cake (we chose semi-naked cake style explicitly for incorporating the flowers!). We could not be more pleased with how the arrangements turned out and in particular the pairing of silvered green-gray leaf/flowers with blue-purple hued thistle!! They did a wonderful job!!

Working with Gerry to design the florals for our wedding was so incredibly easy! We had an initial kick-off in-person meeting to discuss colors, flower types, and bouquet size etc. From there we exchanged a few emails up until the event to keep in touch and on the wedding day we were completely blown away by the stunning arrangements Gerry and her team put together. My bridal bouquet was better than I could have ever imagined and the centerpieces at our reception were lush and gorgeous. We are so happy we chose her for this special occasion and I will definitely be working with her again! We were extremely happy with our flowers for our wedding day. The team at Petal's Edge was amazing to work with. They stayed within my budget, and truly captured my vision. We were so happy with the floral arrangements Petal’s Edge provided to us. I first met with Gerry with some basic colors in mind....and not much else. She asked some great questions to get to the heart of what we wanted. She was flexible with a number of small changes as our plans continued through the summer, and definitely worked within our budget to make a few suggestions of repurposing arrangements between the ceremony and reception. We almost had one hiccup the day of, when I noticed my bouquet wasn’t wrapped in a piece of sentimental silk I’d provided to them. However, my coordinator called Gerry, and she returned before long with the silk, in order to rewrap the bouquet on the spot, still in time for our photos and the ceremony. It meant a lot that she made that happen for me.

I had a wonderful experience with Petal's Edge! I used them for all of our bouquets, ceremony and reception flowers and they turned out amazing! It met the vision I had for our decor and even more - modern, simple and elegant. I love looking at our photos and seeing how beautiful our flowers turned out. Many of our guests complimented us on how beautiful our wedding was and I know it was because of the flowers. I worked with Rebecca who is the nicest person. She was willing to stay within our budget but still gave me her honest opinions on what would work and look nicer. I also used her for day of coordination and I am so glad I did. She became involved the month prior to my wedding and organized all of my vendors and timeline. On the day of, she took care of all of the set up, making sure we were staying on our timeline and helped with the clean up after. I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything all day and could really enjoy the time getting ready with my bridesmaids and enjoy the party during the reception. Petal's Edge did the flowers for every part of our wedding- from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the altar flowers at Holy Rosary Church and the reception flowers at Hotel Monaco. Rebecca was super easy to work with and gave honest opinions on what she thought would look good in the spaces. And they did! I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out- everything looked beautiful, arrived and was set up on-time, and the flowers lasted way longer than the wedding did- even the boutonnieres stayed fresh looking, which is no simple feat!

Overall my experience with Petal's Edge was very positive and the floral arrangements were beautiful! I had a very specific idea of what I wanted my arrangements to look like and Rebecca took the time to listen to me and come up with some great ideas. I was on a tight budget, so ultimately I opted to do my own table arrangements (we had a small wedding so it was doable), and Rebecca was very willing to make the changes to the initial quote she sent. With a very busy schedule, I did not have a lot of time to shop around so I may have been able to go somewhere that was slightly cheaper, but overall I was able to stay in my budget and was extremely happy with the bridal party flowers.

Rebecca from Petal's Edge not only took care of he flowers, but also the day of coordination. We had pretty much went in one afternoon and asked her to have alien plants that matched my tartan. This plus filling out a timetable was apparently enough to knock things out of the park! Rebecca was on top of things throughout the whole process and a pretty great person to boot. Each arrangement was spectacular, and since they were all plants our guests could take them home. You know they must have been pretty great if people were assigned guard duty, as the take home feature became quite competitive. The end of the night did not bring about a massive clean up effort as the lights turned on, but everything was already packed up and neatly boxed in the corner of our room and out of the way. Truly a great team to work with!

RimasFilms has recently filmed a magical wedding at the Willard Intercontinental, where the floral design was created by the Petal’s Edge Floral Design. I have met team myself, while they were getting everything ready for the big day. They were working hard and fast, very focused and organised. And the final result was spectacular! The Floral Design of the wedding, was just, what the wedding film needed, it helped to create the emotional mood. I highly recommend Petal’s Edge Floral Design!

I met with Rebecca to discuss my ideas, and she was spot on with the designs while working with my budget. The centerpieces were so beautiful (we used mostly greenery, and she managed to make them look just gorgeous), and she helped figure out some of the smaller details, like single peonies for our nieces. The swags that she created for the ceremony space were breathtaking, as were the bouquets.

Petal’s Edge put me on edge. Our wedding was great; the only thing I would do differently if I could go back would be to NOT hire Petal’s Edge (PE). I was planning from overseas and stupidly (in hindsight) put down a deposit based solely on portfolio and advice from my planner-- before having a call with Gerry. Had we had that call first, I would NOT have hired her. She was rude, condescending, and really unpleasant. I had pinned some photos of bouquets I liked and she spent most of the call telling me how ones I found to be similar, were, in fact, not similar. She could have said, “Oh it seems like you are drawn to X and Y, is that right?” But she didn’t, she was rude (made a crack about how I didn’t understand how gravity works) and did not provide any value added or professional input. She just kept saying “we can do whatever you want. It’s not up to me, it’s up to you!” So with the burden of decisions put back on me, and without any professional guidance or creative input from Gerry, I was then left to spend HOURS finding the exact shape bouquet I wanted, the exact flowers, etc. Because I didn’t feel like she “got” what I liked and would do great things with flowers, I had to be prescriptive and clearly outline what I wanted. Fast forward some time… After having assured me she could get “whatever I wanted” in terms of materials, twenty days before the wedding Gerry informed me and my planner that she was unable to source a major element of my centerpieces. This was disappointing in and of itself, but particularly frustrating that Gerry had never flagged this might be an issue or said like “I’ll have to confirm availability closer to the date”… no warning whatsoever which I think undermines her professionalism. Lastly, in her revised quotation (once we knew number of tables etc.), the prices for the bouquets went up, after having assured us that flower choice would not impact the budget. She also jacked up delivery charges for seemingly no reason but at this point I found interacting with PE to be a negative distraction so I let it go. However, I found these price adjustments to be just additional instances of being misled and not treated well by Petal’s Edge. The flowers on the day turned out fine (two stars for that), but I had such negative feelings about Gerry and PE by the time of the wedding, I just couldn’t even feel excited about the flowers which, by the way, were not on the cheap end of the spectrum. Caveat emptor on this one and DEFINITELY meet/call before placing a deposit. If you don’t like what Gerry is dishing out, walk away. I wish I had!
