Pete is truly an artist! He created the most beautiful wedding cake for our special day. We had such a blast during our tasting and wanted to make our cake really fun and unique. The cake and frosting flavors that we chose all came together so nicely to create such an amazing flavor. My favorite was the lemon frosting on the outside which he made without any coloring, it was stunning. I also requested that our cake be sprinkled with glitter and Pete did not disappoint! It truly was the most perfect cake inside and out, and it was insanely delicious! Thank you so much Pete for making our day extra sweet, we can’t wait to see you in the shop again for more delicious treats in the future. :)

We got a recommendation from our caterer in Northampton for our wedding in April 2023. Pete was very easy to work with and he broke down the pricing with no hidden fees. The cake was delicious.

Wow - such good cake. Everyone at our wedding commented on how good it was and tried to go back for seconds (there were none because everyone ate their slice!). My husband and I couldn’t wait a whole year because the cake was so good and already ate our top tier. The Pete’s Sweets team was so helpful and responsive in the process as well.

Pete, oh Pete, one of the nicest human beings I've ever met. His staff is also incredibly sweet and so helpful. Pete did my wedding cake in September and when I tell you it was the BEST cake I've ever had, it was seriously the best cake I've ever had. Our guests were RAVING about this cake. My husband and I choose a pumpkin cake with cinnamon frosting on the inside and vanilla frosting on the outside. It was SO delicious! It also looked gorgeous as well. I cannot recommend Pete and his bakery more, they are so helpful and communicate and really dive into what your vision is for your wedding. He will make such helpful suggestions based on what your theme/vision is for your wedding. Thank you Pete to you and your awesome team for the best cake ever!

From the tasting to the design of the cake and talking through options to the actual execution, it was such a delight working with Pete. Pete was very realistic about design choices and walked through all the inspiration I brought to the tasting. He is a perfection and this clearly showed in the end result. The cake was absolutely stunning and so delicious, we are so happy we chose to go through Pete's Sweets! Definitely will continue ordering from them in the future for all events.

He also spent extra time walking me through everything to ensure that I was getting exactly what I imagine for my wedding. Doesn’t hurt that he is so bubbly and fun to connect with!! Amazing from start to finish! Responded to emails/calls quickly. Provided us with a delicious and beautiful wedding cake and GF cupcakes. Pete has a way with baking, but also with people and was just wonderful all around.

Working with Pete was a dream! He knows the cake business and puts you at ease right away. We were able to do a tasting prior to making a final decision and there was no pressure on us. Pete completely understood our vision and was able to provide some examples of what our final cake would look like. It was helpful to see the size of tiers and what wedding cakes actually look like on the inside. Our guests enjoyed the cake and I wish I’d felt more hungry and could have eaten more myself! We were also able to save the top tier for our anniversary. He worked with our florist to add sprigs of lavender and greenery that matched the rest of our decor. Pete and his mother were so easy to work with and SO accommodating! Mary was there to answer any questions I had and Pete executed my dream wedding cake to perfection! I first tried Pete's Sweets at a wedding expo, and I couldn't stop thinking and raving about it. I tried them again at another expo months later, and again was blown away. Pete makes the best cake I have ever tasted, hands down. We arranged a cake tasting, and had a good variety of cakes and frosting/fillings that we were able to choose from and try. His expertise in decorating is incredible, and he offered such great input on design and how it translated into our vision. I showed him some inspiration pics I had, and he totally nailed it. We brought fresh flowers to his shop the day before, and he arranged them so beautifully, along with our topper. Everyone loved our cake, even those who aren't big cake fans! I highly recommend Peter and his team, they are all so friendly, and are so wonderful to work with.!

Pete was amazing through the whole process! He was upfront about costs and helped work with us to both save us money and get the best experience possible when we decided to downsize due to COVID-19. My husband and I are so happy we chose Pete's Sweets to make our wedding cake! We got married August 1st so our wedding plans were frequently changing with the covid pandemic, especially the month prior. Once we contacted Pete he helped to lessen our stress. He was so great throughout the whole process, he was patient, and took an extensive amount of time to thoroughly explain all the options to us for our wedding cake. Since I am gluten free, we went with a 3 tiered cake with the top 2 tiers gluten free and the bottom layer non-gluten free. I had a specific request for the gluten free tiers which they easily accomodated. In the end, the cake came out beautiful and was absolutely delicious!! It even got awesome reviews from our guests that normally don't like wedding cake. Luckily, my husband and I had plenty left over to enjoy after the wedding, too! We highly recommend Pete's Sweets!

Pete is so awesome! Our plan had to change where we no longer used our venue and planned a small ceremony and reception due to Covid. He was incredibly supportive and accommodating, and helped up find a way to still keep our original cake design that we had hoped for pre-Covid. The cake came out amazing and we were so excited about it!! Plus it tasted so good! We got a ton of compliments both on the taste and look of the cake. Would definitely highly recommend him!

We had the BEST experience with Pete! Not only are his cakes delicious and beautifully decorated. But his customer service is amazing! His shop was quick to respond to our inquiry and he kept us updated accordingly throughout planning. When we finally scheduled our tasting we had the BEST TIME. We laughed until we cried there with him while we went over final details and flavors. He is also honest and upfront about everything when it came to pricing, cake styles, etc. Then day-of when we saw our cakes and cupcakes we couldn't have been happier. We also received a TON of feedback from friends and family about how wonderful the cake was.

Pete's Sweets is unbelievable! They made our wedding cake for us, and it was phenomenal. We had a red velvet cake, cinnamon buttercream filling and a maple buttercream frosting. Truly amazing. Pete was great to work with. He was very transparent with his pricing, and even helped with the pricing confusion between me and my wedding venue (cake was included in the price at our venue). The cake was absolutely stunning, and we're happy with our entire experience!!

Pete's Sweets came recommended to us by our reception venue and we could not have been happier with our experience working with them on our wedding cake. During our cake tasting, Pete sat down with us and went over all of our options in great detail. The only problem we had was narrowing down our flavors since they all were delicious! We brought in pictures of the cake design we had in mind for our wedding, and Pete was able to replicate it perfectly. The day of the wedding Pete and his team took care of everything in terms of delivery and set up so that we could just relax and enjoy our wedding day. Everyone raved about the design of the cake but were even more impressed with the taste. We will be doing all of our cake and dessert shopping at Pete's Sweets in the future!

Let me tell you, Pete is the greatest baker ever! Story time..I had a wedding cake baker for my wedding last minute they dropped out and said they weren’t making my cake..this is a week before my wedding. I contacted Pete’s Sweets and they not only calmed me down but also make me the greatest most beautiful cake ever and may I say absolutely an delicious cake! I cannot thank the team and Pete enough for amazing work they’ve done. Do not hesitate choose Pete and his team for your wedding you won’t be disappointed.

Pete from Pete's Sweets was amazing to work with. He took pictures and ideas that were discussed and truly brought them to life! Our wedding cake was everything I could have imagined and more! The wedding cake tasting was fun and delicious! Our wedding cake was so fresh and flavorful and matched our color scheme perfectly (red velvet for a fall wedding). He was so professional and responded to everything in a timely manner. He was straight forward and honest which us which is what we appreciated most and made sure you got what you were paying for. The cake Pete and his team made for our wedding was so delicious and exactly what we wanted!!! Pete was wonderful to work with when planning our January 19th wedding. We were coming from out of state and able to set up a meeting with him well in advance to do a cake tasting. For our tasting, he had a sample of cupcakes and frosting for us to try. All were delicious! He was friendly, informative, professional, and really funny. He made our cake tasting a fun and relaxing experience. As we got closer to the big day, he was very easy to communicate with about guest count, flowers for a topper, a cake box for leftovers, and delivery. On the day of, our cake looked amazing and tasted even better. We are so happy we went with Pete's Sweets for our wedding!

Pete was a blast to work with! I think we were all laughing the entire tasting. You can tell that he loves what he does and is very passionate about his work. He was extremely knowledgable and had great suggestions for when I wasn’t 100% sure on which way to go. We’ve already bought other cakes from him and will continue to do so for any future events. Pete reviewed every last detail with us so we left comfortable with how our wedding cake was going to look. Everyone was raving about the cake and I noticed some guests going up for more pieces! Pete not only took on the job of making our wedding cake but also created an incredible Yeti cooler grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner that everyone loved. We loved Pete's Sweets! We got my bridal shower cake from there and it was a huge hit, so we knew the wedding cake would be amazing as well! The wedding cake was beautiful, looked just like the photo I showed Pete. Pete is very knowledgeable and gave great advice during the cake tasting. Delicious cake! Highly recommend!

Pete’s Sweets made us the most beautiful and delicious cake for our November 2017 wedding! We weren’t sure at first if we were going to go with a traditional wedding cake to serve for dessert, but we’re so glad we did! And to spice things up a little bit, we decided to go with more out-of-the-box flavors: pumpkin spice cake with cinnamon frosting! Cake tasting was one of the most fun elements of wedding planning that we got to experience (especially for the groom). Pete provided us with four unfrosted cupcakes in the flavors of our choosing and six cups of frosting in the flavors of our choosing to mix and match until we found the perfect combination. He even paired it with glasses of champagne! It was such a fun experience! We opted for a simple three-tiered cake with a rippling effect that Pete decorated with coordinating fresh flowers from our florist, and it was stunning! He made sure we were perfectly aware that the cinnamon frosting would be off-white, not pure white, and I thought it was perfectly fitting for our rustic, Fall wedding! We chose to not keep the top tier when we purchased the cake, but we ended up having enough cake to serve all our guests that we got to keep the top tier anyway, and I’m actually so glad it worked out that way because I can’t wait to have this cake again on our first anniversary! If we hadn’t lucked out, we were planning to go back to his bakery and get a small cake in the same flavors because we loved it so much! He is very professional and puts so much love into his creations. I can’t wait for another excuse to need a baker, because I’ll be going to Pete!

Pete made our cake for our October wedding. It was absolutely delicious (chocolate with raspberry filling) and he did a gorgeous job with the cascading flower design. Pete did an awesome job with our cake- inside and out!

Pete and his team did an amazing job with our wedding cake! Not only was the cake decorated beautifully, the chocolate cake with Oreo filling and vanilla bean frosting was a HUGE hit. The best cake we have ever had. We could not have asked for a better experience :)

Pete's Sweets makes the BEST cake you will ever have! I was raving about the cake in the weeks leading up to my wedding day to my guests and they all agreed when they tasted it. The vanilla with creme brulee buttercream is so incredibly delicious & the chocolate is also to die for. On top of tasting amazing, it also looked beautiful!!

Pete made picking out a cake design and picking out the perfect flavor so easy!! Our cake was gorgeous and from what I hear delicious (Sadly I only tasted it when we did the cake cutting). I will definitely use Pete in the future!!
