We had our ceremony and reception here and it was all absolutely beautiful. Everyone said our ceremony was very romantic and the layout of the reception rooms made for comfortable guests. I’ve been to plenty of weddings where I had to stand the whole time because there was purposely not enough seating. Petroleum Club was not the case. The lounge is so cozy. Highly recommend!

The Petroleum Club was so easy to communicate and work with throughout the entire wedding process. They were so kind and helpful every step of the way! Easy to work with for any budget too! The venue changed all the original options from when we signed the contract. Choices became very limited and we were not informed prior to our date. Morning of event, room was not ...
set up although we were charged a $1000 room set up fee. Linens were dirty, floors were dirty, we had to have tables removed, and added. The food that we did order was good, although I was told seafood gumbo was bland. Drinks were not good, as the alcohol brand options weren’t great. “Bottled water” became a water station. We were basically rushed out at 11pm with cleaners all around us and venue workers rushing me to remove items. I missed seeing my daughter leave. Do not recommend the venue for weddings. They would probably be fine for less important events. All in all, not worth the price we paid.

e blamed on a new manager, who was still left in charge of our wedding. After initial contact to discuss all of the problems that occurred, starting with the rehearsal, staff did not return calls or emails. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely horrible venue. Denise the coordinator made the planning extremely stressful from the beginning. Every time I met with her, she would have the incorrect information even...
though she had entered it into the computer. The day before the wedding, we were allowed to decorate the reception room, which was also not ready. They didn’t even know how many tables and what kind we had requested. Even though we told Denise at least 5 times what we needed. Then the day of the wedding was a nightmare. Denise fought with my DJ over the timing of serving the buffet, which we let her do as she wished. She said the salads would already be placed at the tables before the guests would be seated. They were not. The owner of petroleum club then proceeded to get into an argument with my DJ over the timing of serving the food/ salads. Denise had also promised that the bride and groom would have the first meal in the stairwell. After the ceremony, my husband and I went to the stairwell and saw that nothing was there. We then wasted time looking for the food which ended up upstairs. This caused our photographer to miss our first meal because she could not find us. They were also supposed to pack a picnic basket in our going away vehicle but they did not. Extremely disappointed in this venue especially Denise, who cannot organize anything.

extreme pride in handling all the details and providing quality food and service to all our customers. Unfortunately, we did not meet your expectations in our efforts to strive for perfection.
It is clear that our manager on duty missed the note on our details directing salads to be placed on tables in advance even after reviewing with your DJ/Wedding Planner prior to your event. Manager on duty was notified of the error regarding the salads. He apologized and immediately moved the salads that where on the buffet line and served them to your guests.
Our mix up of where the bride and groom were to eat was our fault and our misunderstanding and for that we apologize.
Our signature exit gift of food, bride and groom cake, champagne and champagne glasses were prepared and ready to be placed in your exiting vehicle. Our sincere apology for it not making it into your exit vehicle.
With the hundreds of weddings we have successfully executed, it only takes one disappointed bride to emphasize that we can and should do a better job on your memorable day.

Beautiful venue!!! Very accommodating and Mrs. Denise, the Events Coordinator, made it very easy to plan my daughter's wedding reception there. First class all the way! So pretty...
, we just added floral arrangements in the grand ballroom and a few things in the lobby. Mr. John was also very nice to work with. Very informative and both he and Mrs. Denise answered all questions perfectfly. My daughter and her new husband were served a sampling of food upon their arrival to the venue in the Bride's Room with their favorite adult beverage before being introduced to the guests. Food was awesome. Bartenders very pleasant as was all of the wait staff. Very accommodating to all of our needs. Packed up the cake server and toasting glasses after used the night of the reception for us. Also packed up the food we had. making it very easy for transport. Without any reservations, I would highly recommend this as a wedding reception venue. Not only is it very pretty, but was stress free to work with Mrs. Denise and Mr. John. Very satisfied is an understatement!! Guests very complimentary as well.

onsidering that you can become a trail member and use the facilities without a room charge. Not many places that we found only charge for food and drinks.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly, attentive, and professional! I would highly recommend the Petroleum Club to anyone, especially brides, who are looking for a venue to host their rehearsal or reception! You will definitely be happy with your decision!

e on the staff made sure that I every need was met. The ballroom was big enough to hold all of my guests and the additional things I wanted ( i.e. photo booth, candy station). My lady in waiting, Mable, did an amazing job by consistently checking on me and doing anything I asked of her. She was on my side from the time I got dressed until the reception ended. Everything was beautiful, and I would definitely consider having other events here. The pricing is worth everything this establishment provides for your special day. I got the second package 39.50 per head, but it's worth it. By the end of the night, my extra food was packed, our lovers basket was to die for, and I was beyond satisfied with my venue choice.

The food was amazing, the staff was incredible! Margaret did everything to make our day special! They even sent us off with a picnic basket full of food and a bottle of champagne. Every detail was absolutely wonderful!

s wonderful even with hard-to-deal-with guesets. At the end they wrote me a thank you note and gave me a picnic basket and commemorative painting by a local artist of the petroleum club. My parents liked it so much they bought a membership.
