I cannot say ENOUGH about Akua and her team. If you have not booked a day of coordinator, take this as your sign to reach out to Akua immediately!
From the very first conversation that I had with Akua, I could feel a 100 LB weight lift off of ...my chest. She is so knowledgeable, so accommodating, and so extremely organized. We had several issues with our venue leading up to the event, and Akua was there every single step of the way. She was there every step of the way to help us navigate planning a wedding in a pandemic / post-pandemic world. She had check-in calls with us, and asked us continuously how she can help support us to make it a seamless process. She then took over all vendor communications! This alleviated so much additional stress from us. We didn’t have to worry about whether the florist, the MUA, the hair artist, photographer knew where they needed to be when, because Akua handled it. Then she showed us this minute-to-minute break-down of how our day would look. Everything was thought of (even things, I definitely didn’t anticipate for) from flower delivery, lunch/breakfast delivery, timeframes for photos. My husband and I were so impressed. There were stressors leading up to the day (as there always are), but without Akua, I’m not sure how we would have gotten through the day.
The day of, her and her team worked in lock step, and were there for me, my husband, and our vendors. We had a ton of little items we wanted displayed in the reception, Akua’s team put these together for us and put these out for us. Again, the team kept us on time, and as a bride, I never had to worry about what was next, or where I needed to be, because Akua and her truly wonderful team, just guided us through it all.
Hands down, Phullifects was the best money we spent for our wedding day. I can’t thank them enough. In addition to their incredible work ethic, the women that make up the phullifects team are just truly incredible, empathetic, kind, and professional women.
