Piccolo's Florist

We used Piccolo's for our wedding flowers, and I wish so much I could have given five stars. Our experience with Piccolo's started out pretty positive. We met with Frank and he took extensive notes on everything that we wanted. We felt confident after that meeting that Piccolo's would deliver. However, around a month before the wedding, I received an email from Elizabeth stating that she would be taking over for Frank, as he was no longer with the company. She asked if we had come to a decision on centerpieces, cake flowers, and pew trim. We got back to her and stated that we needed greens for the cake but neither of the other two items. Fast forward to the wedding day - everything is delivered to the church. Nothing is labeled, so my husband and the groomsmen are scrambling to locate everything and identify which bouquet is which. Bouquets are absolutely gorgeous, by the way. Then we get to the reception. No cake greens - even though I very specifically asked for them. Our cake is plain white because they were never sent. Our head table doesn't have foliage on it - never delivered that either. They also charged us for delivery to the reception - but that clearly didn't happen because none of the reception things were there! They did refund us for the missing items, however, it was our wedding. A once in a lifetime occasion. We would have much preferred they got it right in the first place. Disappointing. PROS: Beautiful bouquets & they did refund us for missing items CONS: nothing was labeled, we were missing cake greens & foliage for the head table, as a result our cake & head table were pretty bare-looking, we were wrongly charged with reception delivery, communication between associates seems to be lacking a bit

We had our wedding in June of 2022, which as we knew would be an extremely busy season for all of our vendors. When my husband and I met with Piccolo's we met with Elizabeth and she was very kind and helped to make our dream come to life. We rented everything from Piccolo's for center pieces and they took care of all of our florals for the day. If I was rating Piccolo's just on the florals, they were extremely impressive and I was in love with the bouquets, center pieces, ceremony pieces (on our hexagon arch), head table, cake flowers and wedding party pieces. However, I am reviewing lower due to the costumer service during the day of our wedding and the aftermath. During all of the process there was a miscommunication of picking up the rentals. My husband and I were never made aware that Piccolo's would charge an additional fee for delivery, and then pick-up. We absolutely have no problem with the fee but we were expected to know ahead of time. All of our other vendors had verified the pick-up plans with us before the day of our wedding. The day of our wedding it was quite stressful and the employee who delivered our florals was very unprofessional and frustrated with myself and my husband which is not how we would have been spending our wedding day. After we were able to get the situation sorted out we went to pass out the flowers for the wedding party and there was a mistake. When I reached out to Piccolo's to explain my frustration with how the day went, the unprofessional standard remained the same. However, after getting off the phone I then received an email with a refund of the mess up miscommunication. I was very thankful for the refund and because of this I would recommend Piccolo's. My only piece of advice would be to ensure you have a signed contract (the manager told us we did not need one) with all of the details and prices laid out so they can't add additional surprise fees.

They did the flowers at my mother’s wedding 29 years ago, so I knew they would do a fantastic job at our wedding. I know nothing about flowers, but Frank Piccolo helped pick out if not decided all of the most beautiful arrangements. I trusted him with the bouquets, boutonnieres, and colors. We debated doing fake flowers, and we are so glad we didn’t.

I cannot sing Piccolo’s praises enough! Frank was a dream to work with. He’s so kind, knowledgeable, and really helped me make my wedding vision come to life. All the flowers arrived on time and in beautiful condition. They also made 2 separate stops, one to our getting ready location for bouquets and bouts, and one to the venue to set up. They were able to attach gorgeous arrangements to our altar as well as put entrance florals and main table florals together. The flowers honestly brought the entire event up a few notches and looked INCREDIBLE! All around they were so easy to work with and at the most affordable quote in the area. The cost and quality is completely unmatched and I will continually recommend them to everyone!

This vendor was such a joy to work with! Frank was so amazing and so organized. Our wedding day flowers and girls bouquets turned out better than we could have imagined. These guys helped make our wedding day that much more special!! Thanks to everyone who helped out!!

We used Piccolo's for our daughter's wedding flowers, Jessica Pitt was our designer. She is absolutely amazing. Organized and detailed, she didn't miss a single thing. She had every small detail we asked for exactly as promised. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We had so many people tell us they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they had ever seen. She wanted to be sure she knew exactly what my daughter wanted and made sure she knew exactly what my daughter's vision of the wedding flowers would be. They were perfect and exactly what my daughter had wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Jessica. She is quick to respond to all questions and needs, is calm and organized, and most of all a very talented designer. highly, highly recommend!

We used Piccolo for our wedding flowers and they turned out better than we could have imagined. We were able to stop in a few days before the event to take a look at them too which was a plus. Price could not be beat!

I was so impressed with the flowers that we received from Piccolo's. We ordered several bouquets and boutonnieres in addition to an arrangement for the alter and then greenery for tables at the reception. Every item that we received was absolutely perfect. I was also very pleased with how reasonable the price for all of the flowers was. When I sat down for my consultation, my budget was at the front of Frank's mind and he ensured that I had all the flowers I needed at an extremely reasonable price. He guided me in ways to stay within my floral budget and identified types of flowers that fit the vision that I had but wouldn't break my budget. I highly recommend Piccolo's!!

Frank was great. I had no idea what I really wanted but yet I had a ton of pictures. We worked through what flowers I wanted and used some of my items for the centerpieces. Not having any pictures or ideas of what to really expect I was nervous but knew it would be beautiful. I was not disappointed. The ceremony bouquets, our bouquets and centerpieces were perfect. The colors and types of flowers were exactly what I wanted, they even smelled amazing. The price was so much better then other places and the quality was outstanding. My bouquet lasted a week after the wedding! Thank you Frank!

Jessica made our wedding day beautiful and worry-free! She took time to work with me throughout the process to make our flowers and centerpieces exactly what I was envisioning. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else!

I had first priced a large grocery store chain and then I came here to Piccolo's. The service was way better and more affordable. I had a cascading bouquet and it turned out perfect.

Jessica at Piccolo's was fabulous!!! I gave her my budget and discussed what flowers I liked. She exceeded my expectations. The flowers were beautiful, designed well and fresh!

WOW. Amazing work. We used them for the bridal bouquet and bootineer for the groom. The price was extremely affordable, and the finished product was beautiful. Super easy to work with and really made my vision come true.

Working with Piccolo’s was one of the best vendors I was able to work with for my wedding. They were kind, very accommodating, and went over and beyond. They did my centerpieces and some ceremony décor. Everything that they brought to the venue was amazing! We have worked with them before and they did not disappoint. I would love to work with them again in the future.

HIGHLY recommend Piccolo's for weddings. Jessica and team did a beautiful job with the entire venue, bridal party bouquets and overall look and feel. She understood my vision immediately and I couldn't have asked for a better florist for my big day! Thanks again!!

Frank is amazing! He's and the entire Piccolo's team are incredible and they're so good about working within your budget. Frank listened to what I wanted, designed beautiful arrangements, and would always answer questions or explain why or how he put everything together. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my experience working with Piccolo's!

Piccolo’s was so amazing. We first selected another florist for our wedding and it ended up not working out close to the wedding. My mother in law called Piccolo’s and they were able to help us without a problem. I felt so comfortable after our consultation. My flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

They did a great job and were timely! I loved my bouquet! They were reasonably priced for the number of flowers we got. They also worked with us to get exactly what we wanted into our budget!

Relatively inexpensive for wedding flowers. My flowers were not exactly what I requested, so I recommend using a lot of pictures and being very clear in expectations!

We were disappointed in our experience with Piccolo's. We paid a deposit to Piccolo's for our order at least six months in advance. At first, we were not entirely sure that we wanted live flowers for our wedding as we had assumed the prices would be too high. We decided to talk with Piccolo's because of the reputation they seemed to have. The flowers and arrangements that we received for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous and the price was awesome. However what we received was not what we had discussed, the communication was terrible, and most of our pictures for the wedding do not have flowers such as boutonnieres and my bouquet because the delivery was so late. The table decorations were very pretty, however they did not have as many flowers as we had discussed, and I ordered a drape bouquet with orchids, and I did not receive a drape bouquet at all. The delivery was so late that the representative at my venue actually took the reins and called Piccolo's on my behalf to figure out what the issue was. They arrived maybe 45-30 minutes before the ceremony, when they were supposed to arrive 3 hours prior. Prior to day of I had significant issues getting in touch with the company after I placed my deposit. I tried to email the address on the business card that I was given by Jeanie several times over a month, only to get a bounce back each time. I tried called twice on different days where the phone rang off the hook, once sending me to the other location (the Maple street location does the wedding orders, where I was calling) and the employee that picked up at the Dodge location sent me back to the Maple location. When I finally got a hold of someone at the Maple location I asked to please send me an email detailing what our order was - I both wanted a reminder and also something that listed what we had ordered and prices, since this company does not do contracts. When I received the email several days later, it was missing a significant portion of our order. I tried to email back (the business card apparently has the wrong address printed) several times over the course of a month (again, but no bounce backs this time) I never received a response. I finally called in to set up an appointment to see her in person to finalize everything (now getting anxious that things were going to fall apart with them) and despite telling her that we were finalizing what we had discussed and that I had already paid my deposit, when we arrived at the appointment she greeted us like strangers and we had to remind her that we already had been working with her, and she had to run back to get the scrap of paper that she had kept to detail our requests. I never did get an actual copy of our order. All in all, I just cannot in good faith recommend this company to other couples for their wedding day. Truly beautiful arrangements, but my fingers and toes were crossed - please just show up with something - and we did not get what we had asked and paid for.

Seriously, stop looking at any other florists. You found the absolute best kept secret in Omaha. Piccolo's was incredible. Price, selection, service. Everything went as perfectly as we could imagine. When my wife came down the aisle with her bouquet she made the room go silent. It was just perfect beauty and the flowers were a vital component to that entrance. Would recommend to anyone.

I used Piccolo's for my bridal bouquet of red roses with winter accents like pine and berries. It turned out beautifully, elegant and very well put together. I showed them pictures of what I was drawn to and they went with that inspiration to create it.

Piccolo's did an awesome job for my wedding. I got all my boutonnieres, corsages, and my wedding bouquet here. I met with them months in advance and they helped me pick out flowers and colors to create the bouquet I had in my mind. Everything was easy, and I was able to pay for them upfront and check it off my list of things to do. My bouquet was more beautiful than I expected when I received it. The flowers stayed perfect all day long - they didn't dry out at all. I was able to tell them what time I wanted all the flowers delivered to the church, and they arrived at that time. Very reliable, and wonderful flowers. Thank you so much Piccolo's!

As the bride the one thing I didn't want to do was know if anything was going wrong. The flowers were pretty, but not what I ordered. They came super early which is okay, but also meant that by the time the wedding and pictures started they were already falling apart and dying. They were the cheapest florist I could find, which is prolly why they were not the best quality but at the same time they were pretty and did not look bad in all my pictures.

We used Piccolo's for our wedding flowers. Frank Piccolo did an amazing job. He has been in the business for 30 years and you can tell! Not only does he know what will look together, he helps keep costs down. I was not going to have him do our centerpieces for the reception, but after comparing the price of what it would have cost me to do my own flowers (including renting the vases and such), it was going to cost about the same for Frank to do them. I decided to eliminate all the stress and have him do the flowers...I am so happy I did. They were beautiful!

Myself and my husband had our bouquet and boutonniere created by Piccolo's. What I liked most about them were the fact that they were so fresh and full. Money well spent in deed! I gave them my colors and the theme and flower type I was going for and they created a gorgeous bouquet and matching boutonniere. I will definitely use them again in the future!! Great customer service, quality and presentation!

I asked for bright orange and pink flowers for all of the wedding party. I worked with Frank and he did a great job helping my choose the flowers. My bouquet was beautiful. I feel I got a GREAT deal for what I paid. My only complaint was that when I called them to ask questions, it sometimes took a few days to get a call back.

Piccolo's did an absolutely amazing job. I just had them make the bouquets, boutineers, corsages for the mothers and grandmothers and a few pots of flowers. I was very surprised to see my vision put together. The flowers were vibrant and smelled amazing. I highly recommend Piccolo's to other future brides. They definitely do not fall short! Frank was very nice, helpful, and was always willing to meet with me and answer any questions or concerns I had about the flowers.

Frank Piccolo and his team were able to transform my idea into reality for a very reasonable price. I was so happy with my flowers and the creativity that he and his team showed. He was so easy to work with and was very quick to respond. We met frequently. I would tell all brides to use Frank for their flowers!

I loved all my wedding flowers! Frank and his team did a fabulous job with the bouquets, centerpieces, and other decorative touches. I would highly recommend!

I went with Piccolo's because I heard very good things about them and throughout the process the guy was easy to work with. However, the day of the wedding I was missing a flower for one of my readers and my grandma's flower fell apart right after she put it on an hour before the ceremony. The flowers for our mothers for boutonnieres when they were supposed to be a corsage. I was very disappointed with the end result.

My flowers were unspeakably gorgeous with the few descriptive words I used to tell him what I wanted.

I chose Frank Piccolo to do my flowers because my sister-in-law used him 5 years ago when he was working for mulhulls. I was a bridesmaid and when they gave us our bouquets I thought they were gorgeous! I had never had wedding flowers catch my eye like that before. So when I heard he retired I was devastated. But crazy enough I saw on the Piccolos marque one day welcome back frank. So I emailed him and set up my appointment. Hes been doing flowers for forever and is super well known in Omaha so I knew they would be perfect. We had a meeting and he gave us a quote which shocked me. He was doing a lot and was beyond resonable! Of course we agreed to it. When I saw my center pieces he did more than I ever expected with them. They were so pretty I got so many compliments. I LOVED my bouquet it was so eye catching! For sure he has the best prices in Omaha and the most beautiful flowers!

Everyone said "go to Piccolo's, Frank is the best". After going to Piccolo's for our wedding flowers we cannot recommend them to others. Frank was easy to work with and had great ideas. The trouble was in the lack of descriptiveness in exactly what we would receive and in the problems with delivery on our actual wedding day. Frank had some good ideas for our color scheme, suggesting 'black roses' for the acccent of a burgundy color we were looking for. On our wedding day we received traditional reddish-pink roses in the groom's butioneere which was awful. They were late in delivering our flowers which was not understandable since there were no weather issues that day. When they finally did deliver, they forgot to deliver several large table centerpieces and also had to come back with corrections on some of the flowers that were delivered wrong. This whole debacle delayed our wedding photos getting started. After it was all said and done I had a conversation with Frank and asked for half of my money back due to all the problems we experienced. Although he was empathetic he stated that they are owned by a large corporation now and the best they could do would be to offer a $75 credit toward more merchandise in their store. I thought this was very paltry for having such disappointments in the flowers and the delivery. When my husband and I went into the store to look at something to purchase with our credit they had virtually no inventory. Perhaps the big corporation has taken the fun out of flowers for Frank.

Piccolo's did a fantastic job putting together our floral arrangements! Jeannie was very easy to work with and she did everything exactly how we discussed. My bouquet was seriously the most beautiful I've ever seen. Their prices are very reasonable as well. They were actually HALF the price as another vendor we looked into.

I had very specific ideas in mind, but did not have pictures to support it as they were my creations. Piccolo's did an amazing job listening and walking around their store so I could point out colors and types of flowers. The lady helping me seemed partly patient, and partly annoyed, but in the end, the flowers were amazing. I didn't have a simple order either, as I blended many colors (and placed my order in the off-season, so I couldn't point out exactly what I wanted.) They did an amazing job piecing all my ideas together and I still believe I had the most beautiful floral arrangements I've seen to-date!

My flowers were very beautiful from this vendor and I got a lot of comments about them. However, the flourist we first met with missed our 2nd appointment and then was no longer working there. The 2nd flourist was okay but not super friendly or very fexible with her schedule.

Overall our florist did an amazing job on the bride's bouquet, bridemaids bouquets, and the large arrangements. The corsages and bouts were pretty flimsy and didn't really hold up all day.
