We are quite disappointed with my overall experience of booking PicMe Events for my wedding.
Even though my guests did enjoy the photo booth experience and got their individual p...
rints, I still will not recommend them to others. I actually tell people not to book them.
First thing that was wrong was their female service attendant wore a long white glittery dress at my wedding. I did my best to ignore it throughout the night, however I had to deal with questions of who she was after the wedding. Best part of this was when her, I'm guessing test shots, was the first image to show up in my online gallery to remind me once again of her poor judgement.
Second, the service attendants claimed to have left the extra photos they printed for me on the table at the venue instead making sure they were delivered to the wedding coordinator or me. I checked with the venue staff who did not find any photos. Michael then said the photos were just extras that guests didn't want. This made me have to reach out to some of my guests to verify and all said the attendants told everyone to print an extra copy to give to us at the end of the night. My husband and I also did this when we used the photobooth.
Third, I paid for a package that included the option of guests texting themselves a digital copy of their photos and it wasn't available. When I asked to why that wasn't available, they claim that the wifi wasn't working and yet they did not talk to anyone to figure out how to get it to work. After pushing for it, I did get a small refund for this issue.
Fourth, when I got my professional photos from my wedding photographer. There was a PicMe service attendant standing in my family group photo. It is definitely not by accident as he is there smiling and posing.
Fifth, the business owner, Michael confused me for another bride during our communications after the event. This caused more confusion and frustrations.
Finally, Michael made promises to send me reprints of my photos and a photo album, but that never happened. After waiting for a few months, I decided it wasn't worth my time to reach out to him again and ask why they can't just do what they said they were going to do. Their website says their company goal is to give picture perfect experiences to their clients. This was definitely far from perfect.
I wasn't wanting to write a negative review, but after I getting my wedding photos and seeing one of their attendants in my family photo, it reminded me and motivated me to share my experience.
