delicious everything was. My guests were so impressed. The staff was so fun and kind. My 15 year old brother is autistic and one of the waitstaff members checked on him and made him his own special plate of food due to some of his food aversions. I almost cried when I heard this! Oprah our attendant was INCREDIBLE! Not only did she make sure my husband and I had everything we needed but she TORE it up on the dance floor with us! Thank you so much pigeons for everything!

s. I've been to MANY weddings and the food is always so hit or miss, mostly misses. And Pigeon is all HITS. Flavors on point. Every appetizer was expertly seasoned and dressed. The creole rice bar and grits bars were booming with flavors. Seriously, this is a wedding food glow up! They were so great to work with, coming up with great solutions and menu choices. We were able to work with them for our dietary needs and make sure everyone got to eat something delicious. Thank you so Lea for setting us up with a delicious tasting and making the event perfect!

Staff was so nice and accommodating. They had so much food we could hardly try it all and it was delicious! Everything tasted great with gorgeous presentation. I had been feeling pretty down about all of our wedding plans ( most things were booked by June 2019) changing, but this is a silver lining. The only thing I'm sure of for this wedding is the food will be amazing.

budget. Everyone else provided initial estimates that were several thousand over and didn't reflect our desire for something quintessentially New Orleans that would be casually elegant. Many of our guests were from out of town, so we didn't want to just have standard wedding food. She did exactly what we wanted and gave us expert guidance on areas that we weren't sure about (e.g., how to make sure our vegetarian friends had as amazing food as everyone else=the most delicious ravioli!). Our guests could not stop raving about the food and the service. They sent us home with so much delicious food that my extended family ate for the rest of the weekend and wants to know if Pigeon will ship to New York. Thank you so much!

the Monastery through our wedding day. Ashley was the absolute best from the moment we first toured the Monastery. She worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted but stayed within our budget. I didn't have a wedding planner, and although I'm from NOLA, I planned the wedding from afar. We also had a unique buffet-style but also sit-down reception, and Ashley made sure everything was in order and even asked me about details I hadn't considered. Because I didn't have a day-of coordinator, Ashley went above and beyond to make sure each detail on the day of the wedding was perfect. (I cannot say enough great things.) Our bridal attendant Laura was also amazing. Her voice was so calming, and she was incredibly patient, even when she was cleaning my dress after I spilled a thick, brown Balsamic glaze all over it (yikes). She made sure we had drinks throughout the night but also that we ate and stayed hydrated. I could not imagine working with any other people for my wedding. Also, the food was INCREDIBLE. People are still telling us that this was the best food they've had at a wedding. My mom is Korean, so we requested that Pigeon make a special Korean appetizer. The chef did an amazing job and humbly welcomed advice from my mom during our tasting. Finally, the staff were all great and very on top of it during the reception, and everyone executed our buffet/sit-down reception better than we could've imagined. Overall just an amazing experience. I highly recommend Pigeon (and if you can get Ashley and Laura, even better!).

and loved that we had an oyster bar. Ashley was awesome to work with and was great to get to know during our tasting and throughout all of the planning. During our event, all of the staff were incredibly professional and my personal attendant did an amazing job making sure I had something to eat and had a drink in my hand ;). Pigeon Caterers also did our wedding cake. I sent over a couple inspiration photos from pinterest of what we were looking for and they nailed it! It was beautiful and was so delicious. We were sent home with lots of extras from all the food and the cake (including our cake topper nicely packaged for our anniversary). You will love working with Pigeon!

ll in love with the gumbo and shrimp and grits, in particular. We were able to easily determine a menu with the sales and marketing director, Lea, and keep in touch with her until our wedding day. Pigeon not only set up an incredible New Orleans-style buffet at our wedding but they also accommodated a raw seafood bar and served shrimp, oysters and crab claws all night long! Our guests are still raving about the food and we would not have had it any other way. My husband and I highly recommend Pigeon for authentic, delicious New Orleans cuisine for your wedding!

Everything was excellent, and weeks later, we’re still hearing from our guests about how wonderful everything was. And the venue itself – Petite Bourbon at 530 Bourbon Street – is a terrific spot. We had excellent weather, so we enjoyed the entire evening outdoors in the sizeable courtyard. What a perfect setting. What a perfect evening.

Since we were planning our wedding in New Orleans from Washington, DC - I just found Pigeon online (reading reviews and such) - each time I talked to one of my other vendors, including my venue - they were like, Leah is amazing!! It truly was! Book Pigeon - I highly recommend Leah & her team.

They were great to work with, and they also cater to the Saints so you know they have to be good!

the apps during cocktail hour and I feel the our seated dinner was well executed and the presentation was very nice. I had no complaints on the service and bartenders didn't disappoint...everyone had a good time. The only negative review I would give Pigeon was on communication throughout the planning process. Thank goodness I had a wedding planner who handled it because as the Bride I would have been very frustrated on my own. So just know that you must check the proposal line by line to make sure there are no mistakes or communication errors from the time you decided on your menu to the invoice. Also, they weren't always quick to respond, however, in the end we got a menu that we really liked at the right price we needed for our budget. It took sometime to get there but we were happy with the result. They also allowed a 4% discount if you paid by cash or check...so if this works for you its an excellent money saver!
