HOLY DELICIOUS FOOD! Wow! When we booked our venue, Pigeon was the designated caterer, and THANK YOU for that! Because Republic has partnered with one of the most DELICIOUS caterers. I've been to MANY weddings and the food is always so hit or miss, mostly misses. And Pigeon is all HITS. Flavors on point. Every appetizer was expertly seasoned and dressed. The creole rice bar and grits bars were booming with flavors. Seriously, this is a wedding food glow up! They were so great to work with, coming up with great solutions and menu choices. We were able to work with them for our dietary needs and make sure everyone got to eat something delicious. Thank you so Lea for setting us up with a delicious tasting and making the event perfect!

Pigeón Catering were the caterers for our daughter’s wedding in New Orleans this past Saturday, February 12. The food was absolutely delicious! We had a wide variety of items and everything was wonderful. There are a lot of things to choose from when you are planning the menu. That’s the hardest part! And the staff there are outstanding. I highly recommend them for your wedding or any event.

This is premature, but I was/am so impressed with Pigeon. Our wedding unfortunately was postponed from May 9th to Oct 23 due to covid-19. With all the chaos, our wedding venue will not be open to the public but they will still host our wedding. That being said they are outsourcing the catering to Pigeon. We had our tasting two weeks ago and it was such a great experience. Staff was so nice and accommodating. They had so much food we could hardly try it all and it was delicious! Everything tasted great with gorgeous presentation. I had been feeling pretty down about all of our wedding plans ( most things were booked by June 2019) changing, but this is a silver lining. The only thing I'm sure of for this wedding is the food will be amazing.

People are still talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding. We had a Persian-Cajun fusion wedding. The mediteraanean and cajun dishes were so incredible. The tasting was also very fun. Everything about our catering experience was professional and perfect. We recommend hiring Pigeon's to anyone!

We are so happy went with Pigeons! Ashley was so incredible, making our tasting one of the most memorable parts of wedding planning. She was so flexible and worked hard to make our dream menu fit within our budget. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was!

We are so happy we used Pigeon Caterers for our wedding last week! Lauren was a pleasure to work with. She listened to what we wanted and provided a proposal that actually met our budget. Everyone else provided initial estimates that were several thousand over and didn't reflect our desire for something quintessentially New Orleans that would be casually elegant. Many of our guests were from out of town, so we didn't want to just have standard wedding food. She did exactly what we wanted and gave us expert guidance on areas that we weren't sure about (e.g., how to make sure our vegetarian friends had as amazing food as everyone else=the most delicious ravioli!). Our guests could not stop raving about the food and the service. They sent us home with so much delicious food that my extended family ate for the rest of the weekend and wants to know if Pigeon will ship to New York. Thank you so much!

Pigeon is amazing. My husband and I had our reception at the Monastery last month (beautiful venue), and we worked directly with Ashley Blanchard from Pigeon from our first tour of the Monastery through our wedding day. Ashley was the absolute best from the moment we first toured the Monastery. She worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted but stayed within our budget. I didn't have a wedding planner, and although I'm from NOLA, I planned the wedding from afar. We also had a unique buffet-style but also sit-down reception, and Ashley made sure everything was in order and even asked me about details I hadn't considered. Because I didn't have a day-of coordinator, Ashley went above and beyond to make sure each detail on the day of the wedding was perfect. (I cannot say enough great things.) Our bridal attendant Laura was also amazing. Her voice was so calming, and she was incredibly patient, even when she was cleaning my dress after I spilled a thick, brown Balsamic glaze all over it (yikes). She made sure we had drinks throughout the night but also that we ate and stayed hydrated. I could not imagine working with any other people for my wedding. Also, the food was INCREDIBLE. People are still telling us that this was the best food they've had at a wedding. My mom is Korean, so we requested that Pigeon make a special Korean appetizer. The chef did an amazing job and humbly welcomed advice from my mom during our tasting. Finally, the staff were all great and very on top of it during the reception, and everyone executed our buffet/sit-down reception better than we could've imagined. Overall just an amazing experience. I highly recommend Pigeon (and if you can get Ashley and Laura, even better!).

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Pigeon and Lauren! From planning our meal, to the tasting experience, to the actual day of the wedding. Our food tasted absolutely amazing and I hope we get to use them again - thanks again, Lauren!

Pigeon's catering for our wedding reception was fantastic! I wish I could eat this food every day. Our guests, especially the out-of-towners, raved about the New Orleans style food and loved that we had an oyster bar. Ashley was awesome to work with and was great to get to know during our tasting and throughout all of the planning. During our event, all of the staff were incredibly professional and my personal attendant did an amazing job making sure I had something to eat and had a drink in my hand ;). Pigeon Caterers also did our wedding cake. I sent over a couple inspiration photos from pinterest of what we were looking for and they nailed it! It was beautiful and was so delicious. We were sent home with lots of extras from all the food and the cake (including our cake topper nicely packaged for our anniversary). You will love working with Pigeon!

So many guests came up to me at our wedding telling me how amazing the food was and how it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!! I highly recommend Pigeon and am lucky they were the exclusive vendor for Board of Trade. They hit a home run and I am so thankful!! Also so great to work with!

We used Pigeon Caterers for our wedding at the New Orleans Board of Trade and it was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! Pigeon’s incredible menu and service made our wedding reception at Republic NOLA outstanding. We had a very positive experience with the vendor during our first food tasting and fell in love with the gumbo and shrimp and grits, in particular. We were able to easily determine a menu with the sales and marketing director, Lea, and keep in touch with her until our wedding day. Pigeon not only set up an incredible New Orleans-style buffet at our wedding but they also accommodated a raw seafood bar and served shrimp, oysters and crab claws all night long! Our guests are still raving about the food and we would not have had it any other way. My husband and I highly recommend Pigeon for authentic, delicious New Orleans cuisine for your wedding!

Awesome!!! the food was the best part of my wedding. It was a small wedding, only 80 people, but the quality of the food was superb. I have ONLY great things to say about Pigeon! If you want great food, book them ASAP. Thank you SO MUCH!

Pigeon not only catered our wedding but also put together an amazing crawfish boil for our rehearsal as well as day of food for a bridal brunch. They were amazing to work with and everyone loved literally everything they ate.

Our wedding took place at Petite Bourbon where Pigeon Caterers looks after all of the food and other details. We were well looked after, even had a bite to eat before we joined all the guests. And, the food was outstanding. Pigeon is top-notch, and did an outstanding job of looking after our guests, both food and beverage. Everything was excellent, and weeks later, we’re still hearing from our guests about how wonderful everything was. And the venue itself – Petite Bourbon at 530 Bourbon Street – is a terrific spot. We had excellent weather, so we enjoyed the entire evening outdoors in the sizeable courtyard. What a perfect setting. What a perfect evening.

Pigeon caterers did a super job with our reception. The food was so good and they packed a wonderful basket for the bride and groom to take with them. I would highly recommend them for any event.

We LOVED Pigeon Catering - Leah was AMAZING. The food at our wedding was SO SO delicious & we had so many people tell us how great the food was & how much they enjoyed the grits bar & appetizers, etc. Throughout the entire process, Leah was absolutely wonderful to work with. I had a lot of changes & requests, and she was always helpful! We had a guest who is gluten free, and she had her chef make her a special meal (such a special touch). She really rocked the food - everyone loved it. She was timely, great presentation & the food was perfect. She even provided someone to help ensure we both had enough food & drink all night long! Since we were planning our wedding in New Orleans from Washington, DC - I just found Pigeon online (reading reviews and such) - each time I talked to one of my other vendors, including my venue - they were like, Leah is amazing!! It truly was! Book Pigeon - I highly recommend Leah & her team.

The quality of food produced by Pigeon speaks for itself. They can offer suggestions as well as customize a menu for you depending upon your specific needs. Every thing went as planned and our guests enjoyed the food as well as the service provided.

Leah and her team were terrific hosts when we first met them and put together a really special selection of nibbles, cheeses, and family style dining for our totally out of town guests. Our guests are still raving about the food - the medium rare garlic beef was such a hit!

Our food was fantastic! I still have friends and family calling me to tell me just how much they loved the food at our wedding. Leah was helpful from day one at helping us craft a menu that was in-line with our budget and fulfilled the variety of flavors we were looking to provide to our guests. And as a special treat Pigeon provided a basket of food for my husband and I to enjoy after the wedding. It was such a nice surprise!

Pigeon nailed it! The food was fresh and didn't taste like it had been under a food warmer. Our guests enjoyed the Cajun flare food stations! The Louisiana Mixed Grill was phenomenal as well as the shrimp pasta...I still crave it! My bridal attendant, Bonnie, always made sure I had a fresh glass of wine, got all of our food, and made sure my husband and I were taken care of during the reception. Pigeon was wonderful to work with! Leah was patient with me as I changed the menu a 100 times before finally deciding on our food. Overall, the food is amazing and the service is fantastic!

I didn't get to eat much of the food, which is typical as a bride, but that which I did eat, was great. They set it up beautifully (again, I didn't get to see it in person, but saw photos). The only small issue my husband mentioned was that the meat was cold. I'm pretty sure it was SUPPOSED to be cold, so my fault for not confirming before I booked with them. Either way, it was all terrific, and there was PLENTY go go around. They also worked with me to put menu cards I created on all the napkins at no additional cost, which was awesome.

Because my hubby and I were too busy greeting our guests or tearing it up on the dance floor, we unfortunately were not able to enjoy all of the great food that was served at our reception. However, we filled ourselves up at the tasting and that was enough to convince us that we had to hire Pigeon for our wedding! We have not stopped hearing from our guests how much they loved the food and how great it was. Leah over at Pigeon is great to work with and we loved her enthusiasm for all things New Orleans when we met her at our tasting. She was able to accommodate the dishes that we wanted to fit within our budget and was even able to have our potato salad made the way that my hubby's mom makes it. They were great to work with, and they also cater to the Saints so you know they have to be good!

Leah from Pigeon's was super-easy to work with. She was willing to work with any budget or request. The food from the initial tasting was the same quality we had for the wedding. They also provided our rentals (tables, chairs, centerpieces), so it was a one-stop shop.

The dinner provided was outstanding, as was the service! Fantastic all around!

We used Leah and Pigeon Caterers for our wedding at the New Orleans Board of Trade and they were great! The tasting experience was amazing....a huge meal of items you selected that you could take home with you. The food was yummy and your options are endless. If something isn't on their menu they can probably still make it for you. They also sent the bride/groom and the bride's parents home with leftovers. The staff was great. My only complaint is that they ran out of bottled beer too early in the night and had to serve cans. All in all, great to work with and very tasty!

Prices ranged but we of course added a few extras... Grits bar in martini glasses, Banana Foster bar, service was truly perfect and all the guests loved all of our food selections! Highly recommend!

Leah was very easy to work with and even let us use their bartenders so we could buy the alcohol to help keep costs down. The food was great and they packed up what was left so we could take home.

O.M.G.! Delicious doesn’t even describe! My mother & I worked with Leah at Pigeon Catering and she was great! She worked with us on all types of different menu choices and worked diligently to help us meet our budget. The chefs at Pigeon are super creative and if you can dream it up, they can make it! I recommend the ceviches & barbeque shrimp & grits! Plus they even provide a personal attendant for the bride & groom! They’re the best!!

Leah has been my contact throughout the wedding planning process and has been awesome. She makes changes as needed, did separate tastings for my fiance could join with his crazy schedule, and answers my questions thoroughly! I highly recommend and the food is fabulous!

We used Pigeon for our wedding at the Board of Trade (thier venue). As the Bride and Groom we didn't get to eat much of our food, however many of the guest said that they enjoyed the apps during cocktail hour and I feel the our seated dinner was well executed and the presentation was very nice. I had no complaints on the service and bartenders didn't disappoint...everyone had a good time. The only negative review I would give Pigeon was on communication throughout the planning process. Thank goodness I had a wedding planner who handled it because as the Bride I would have been very frustrated on my own. So just know that you must check the proposal line by line to make sure there are no mistakes or communication errors from the time you decided on your menu to the invoice. Also, they weren't always quick to respond, however, in the end we got a menu that we really liked at the right price we needed for our budget. It took sometime to get there but we were happy with the result. They also allowed a 4% discount if you paid by cash or check...so if this works for you its an excellent money saver!

The food was phenominal and the service was excellent! Unfortunately they did throw away alot of food after the reception, that we were told we could keep!

I was disappointed with this caterer. Although the tasting went really well, the food was a bit lackluster when it arrived at the wedding. The apps were wonderful, but the fried turkey was cold and the jambalaya was just ok.
