Based in Kill Devil Hills, NC, Pigman’s BBQ is a catering company and restaurant that provides its services for weddings and events. Pigman’s BBQ was founded in 1985 by Bill Shaver. Initially, he owned a ham shop which was named after his pet pig Piggy Lou. His business then evolved into the restaurant after he began to experiment in the kitchen with BBQ recipes. This restaurant was started in 1991 which had a countryside ambience throughout that remains to this day. It is now run by Top Palmer and Richard Bruce, who worked for many years under Bill's guidance. Couples can have food brought to their wedding from Pigman’s BBQ in a number of ways. Dishes can be delivered to the lovebird’s venue or there is the option of onsite catering. Barbeque, of course, takes center stage throughout the menu, with options for chicken, pork, and more.
