Pilar was the best thing we did for our wedding. We hired Pilar for our wedding in March of 2020 which we ended up having to reschedule due to COVID. She went above and beyond for us in every way. As all of our plans were changing because of the closures she was so communicative and helpful in trying to pivot with our ever changing plans. We ended up getting married on our hotel balcony since Miami shut down a few days before our original date. We still had our reception completely planned out and wanted to host it but didn’t know when we would be able to do it. Pilar was so patient with us and all of the changes we needed to make (and how long it took us to set a second date). Fast forward to the weekend of our June 2021 wedding, Pilar was in communication that whole weekend before to make sure we were all set and had everything we would need for the day of. We dropped off some things for her the day before to help set them up, when we arrived at the venue she was already there and everything had been set up beautifully. We did run in to some issues with the venue (they forgot to order the cake they promised) and she immediately had a solution for us and even managed to get a beautiful cake from the same bakery! She was so doting without being intrusive, she made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and kept us on schedule. We seriously could not imagine having done this without her. Pilar was the sweetest and we would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take the stress out of their big day!!

We wanted a surprise wedding on Valentines Day for our immediate family. Pilar helped us pull off what was originally a "dinner" to a beautiful, fantastic, fun, safe and memorable outdoor wedding for everyone. She was well connected and made everything happen in a short time, plus was a joy to work with. She hooked up everything for us. She was very responsive and I appreciated her personalized service, phone calls and communication. Worth every penny!

I hired Pilar for the day of my wedding to help that day and leading up to my wedding. To say she knows what she is doing is an understatement! She was so helpful and came prepared to work and think of things I would not have thought of myself. She managed things that needed to be done and handled everything for us so we didn't have too. She is so sweet and I would highly recommend her!

I was silly and thought I only needed a planner for the day. I ended up needing Pilar throughout the entire process. She was extremely professional and responsive. Every vendor she recommended was amazing and top notch. She kept us on track and even got my stuff together at the end of the night. Our day was beautiful and perfect!

We worked with Pilar throughout the course of a year to plan my wedding and it truly was one of the best decisions we made throughout that process. We knew what we wanted and could conceptualize the vision, but actually creating it was where Pilar stepped in. She introduced us to the most incredible vendors, added all the little beautiful details before we even thought of them, and was mindful of whatever stress we were experiencing by taking many tasks on herself. We were saved many times by her organizational ability, attention to details, forward thinking, and flexibility to always being available no matter the day/time. We planned a whole weekend of festivities for our guests, with a welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner, golf outings, and the actual wedding event (ceremony/rehearsal) and it all couldn’t have gone more seamlessly! We are immensely grateful to Pilar and attribute a lot of the success of that weekend to her. We plan on working with her for many years to come for every life celebration and event in the future!!

I really don't know what I would have done without Pilar when planning my daughter's wedding. I am a stickler for details and organization. I can honestly say Pilar did not let me down. I was absolutely DREADING the thought of having to put together a wedding. I was someone who did not go on Pinterest or have any idea what the first step in planning a wedding was. I knew that if I did this on my own, the wedding and reception would fall very short of being a perfect day. I needed a wedding planner. I did a lot of research online and reached out to many wedding planners. Pilar got back to me almost immediately and I instantly felt at ease speaking with her. Because of her responsiveness, there was no other option in my mind…Pilar was going to help me with my wedding. Pilar is more than just a planner; she is your best friend. Pilar is there for you every step of the way and provides creative ideas for you and your guests while remaining within your budget. She is honest in everything that she does and always has her client at the front of her mind. The attention she provides you is second to none and she makes you feel as though your event is the only event she is planning…she gives you a sense of importance! Pilar truly takes the time to know and understand her clients so that she showcases their personalities in the best way possible. I am not decisive, creative, or someone that knows what they want…but holy cow…Pilar was able to figure out exactly what I wanted. She is the best!!! Pilar was able to negotiate pricing with our vendors and saved us a lot of money. It was great having someone who knows the industry so well and can make sure vendors are not overcharging you (as they are known to do in this industry). We were fortunate learn out the day of coordinator services by Pilar Pava Events early on in our wedding planning process. From the beginning we were blown away with her level of commitment and the time and effort she put into our event. She voluntarily came to our tasting at our venue and even followed along to the church--the whole time advocating for us and giving us ideas and suggestions we had not thought of. It is clear that having at least a day of coordinator is necessary to have a smooth wedding and we knew from the start that Pilar was on a mission to do just that. Pilar offered us connections she has, including make up with Saks Fifth Avenue, and was always available to schedule a call or email. Leading up to the wedding, we had a meeting prior to the rehearsal that illuminated how detailed and thoughtful she is when planning events. She was generous in spending time running through every second of the wedding and having us visualize and reflect on even the smallest details. We know for a fact that having Pilar as our day of coordinator played a huge role in the success of our wedding. She is reliable, generous, and will make your wedding the best wedding possible.

Working with them was a real pleasure and was worth the investment! They made our wedding special, providing a peace of mind. Went above and beyond being very creative and supportive. Was easy to reach and responded promptly to emails, calls and texts. And most importantly, I do recommend them and I would hire them again!

For a Perfect Wedding Day you need Pilar! I truly did not comprehend how valuable a wedding planner could be until Pilar started helping me. Before Pilar was my wedding planner, I spent hours researching vendors and checking pricing but after a few quick questions to Pilar my problems were solved. The week of my wedding I needed a new hair stylist and Pilar saved the day! Pilar took all the plans I had created for my wedding and flawlessly executed them on my wedding day. I was able to enjoy the entire day and relax because Pilar took care of everything. If you are looking for a wedding planner that cares, is excellent at wedding planning, is professional but still makes the process fun you need Pilar. I can not thank her enough and I am so happy she was there on my wedding day.

We are extremely satisfied with Pilar Pava Events and highly recommend her. Pilar exceeded our expectations of a “day-of” planner, not just by her excellent skills, but by the attention that she gave us. Besides allowing us to enjoy our daughter’s wedding day knowing that it was in capable hands, she made sure that we had covered all the details prior to the big day. She asked detailed questions, made excellent suggestions and was very organized. Pilar shared a makeup connection that saved us a significant amount of money and by being on top of everything during the reception, we were able to get credit for interrupted service. She was generous with her time and even came to the tasting which was not part of the package. Her influence led to an upgraded cocktail at no additional charge. Had I known how valuable she was, we would’ve opted for a different package. I can think of one vendor mishap that would’ve been avoided by her professional attention to detail. At the very least, we should’ve opted for the assistant on the day of the wedding and/or rehearsal. Pilar did no push this, and I appreciate that, but now that I know how crazy things get at the very end, it would’ve been money well spent. Pilar Pava is an experienced, professional planner who is also conscious of following your vision. She was the perfect choice.

I didnt had the completely opportunity on working with Pilar, but the little we got to work together, she is totally one to take the time and recommend. I think more than a team member, in the planner you have to look for a friend, a support and she is totally that in moments of distress.

This was such a special day that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I can honestly say that I made the right choice in selecting Pilar Pava Events. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious and everything was spectacular. I have to share how thoughtful, dedicated and passionate Pilar Pava was in taking care of me and all of my guests. Pilar made everything stress and worry-free and she delivered exactly what we envisioned.
