Pine Forest Country Club

Words cannot even begin to express how wonderful the experience of having my wedding reception at Pine Forest was. If I could do it all over , I would DEFINITELY have it here again! Evangelia, the event coordinator, was phenomenal. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she is so kind. When my parents and I first met with her, I just knew this was the place I wanted to have our reception, and my dad, not even knowing that, looked at me and said, "Well how can we NOT have it here?!" She accommodated all of our needs and met with us whenever we needed to meet. When they didn't have enough tri-level vases for us to have them on 6 tables, we asked her where she got them, so we could buy more, and she told us not to worry about it...that she would take care of it. That meant a lot to us! For my bridal shoot, she couldn't be there because it was after office hours, but a couple days before, she sent us pictures and videos of great spots for us to go and take pictures, and she recorded herself walking and driving to those places, so we would know how to get there. On top of that, she reserved two golf carts for us and parked them right in front, with a sign, so people would know they were for us. It was such a wonderful experience! At the reception, everything was wonderful! The staff was exceptional. The ballroom looked like a dream, and the food was phenomenal, seriously...it was amazing! Every last detail was perfect! The staff went above and beyond. One kind staff member even saw that one of the young guests was upset because his shirt got wet, so the staff member took the shirt and put it in the dryer for the boy. I was blown away when I heard that! So many of our guests raved about the food and the staff, and they couldn't get over how beautiful the venue was! The staff was very attentive to my husband and me as well, making sure we had a drink and all the food that we needed. No one in our family is a member of Pine Forest Country Club, but they honestly made us feel like members. That's just how hospitable they are. I recommend Pine Forest to anyone and everyone. You won't find a better place. Not to mention, you won't have to search for a caterer (their food is amazing) or a cake baker (Susie's Cakes is included in the price, and it's delicious), you won't have to rent tables, chairs, linens, and all those little things that you don't think about. They have hurricane glasses, tri-level vases, and so much more available to you, so you don't have to rent/buy those either. I can't recommend Pine Forest enough! When we first got engaged, a recently married friend recommended we look at country clubs for our reception as a better value than wedding-only venues (lower venue rental fees, better food, etc.). I don't remember how we initially found Pine Forest Country Club for our wedding reception but I'm so glad we did! We just happened to book during Houston's Bridal Extravaganza in Jan. 2020 which allowed us to get a great rate on the banquet room. Then the pandemic hit. We were still so far from our wedding date that we assumed everything would be back to normal by the new year. We never had to change our wedding date but there were still many uncertainties and changes leading up to the wedding. Through it all, Evangelia and Pine Forest Country Club were AMAZING to work with! Evangelia patiently answered all of our questions and offered advice on things we were clueless about. When our confirmed guest count came in at half of what we expected (even with COVID planning), Evangelia quickly threw out suggestions to keep us from having to rework many decisions we had already made. Our wedding reception at Pine Forest was a dream! All of the catering staff were very accommodating and everything ran smoothly. Many of our guests commented that the food was some of the best they'd ever had at a wedding. The banquet room looked beautiful and was the perfect size for our Grand March. Overall, we could not have picked a more perfect venue and planning team for our big day.
