In house catering really took a huge weight off of our shoulders, as it was one less thing we had to book and the food here is absolutely incredible! They have so much decor to look through and to use, we saved so much money this way and bought almost nothing for our decorations and it still turned out amazing. The house to stay in for the weekend was great. Holds so many people, a getting ready room for girls upstairs and guys downstairs! The venue and land in itself is truly amazing and you can tell they take such good care of the property. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have their perfect wedding experience!

the honor of being a guest at Megan and Brody’s wedding celebration hosted at Pine Peaks Wedding and Event Center. What a cool spot! Very private and peaceful. The photographer was busy taking advantage of many picturesque areas throughout. The staff was friendly and a delious meal was served. At dusk -outdoor LED lighting was arranged to highlight the landscaping and it all felt very romantic. The fireside/bar area was cozy and warm. Later in the evening pizza was served from a real brick pizza oven, a nice snack after a night of partying and dancing. I would highly recommend Pine Peaks Wedding and Event Center to anyone looking for a great destination wedding venue.

We're very glad we had our wedding at a place that really had it all; it eased quite a bit of that stress for us. We had free reign with the decorating, which we loved (and not having a lot of decorations of our own left over was a big plus; who wants that waste?). That gave us the ability to really make our wedding our own. The lodge was a huge hit with our wedding party and we had plenty of room to fit everyone, including our pup. The fact that we got to include him in our day was amazing and we're so thankful for that. We did have some of our own decorations get mixed in with the venue's, one piece we found was broken, and we had a few guest tell us some of the waitstaff was a bit terse with them. Other than that, everything was great and I would recommend Pine Peaks! Thank you!

We stayed in the Retreat House from Thursday to Sunday which was such a bonus! Our wedding party stayed with us in the house and we were able to have the Rehearsal Dinner right on-site. We used decorations available from the venue to decorate nearly everything which also saved a lot of money (and hauling)! I appreciated being able to set everything up Thursday and Friday so that we didn't have to worry about any of that on Saturday. Priscilla and her team handle all of the clean up and tear down on Saturday night so we didn't have to worry about any of that either! The food and desserts were amazing! We got so many compliments on the food, and the woodfire late night pizza they serve is to die for! The venue , retreat house and the property are flawlessly maintained. We received so many compliments on the venue, the staff, and the event itself from our guests. The weather for our wedding day was 70 degrees and GORGEOUS. If the weather had not cooperated, there are options for indoor ceremonies, which was nice to have a back up plan if needed. Priscilla truly made things less stressful and was always available for questions or anything needed! Overall, I can't recommend Pine Peaks enough for your wedding!

e simple reason...this place allows you to spend time with your friends and family while setting up your wedding ceremony and reception area however you want. Priscilla, Dave and Corey were all extremely responsive in all forms of communication with an "I'm here for you" attitude. When we arrived at the venue, the house and reception area were both spotless and the grounds were immaculate. We had help with the set up and take down of the rehearsal dinner in the porch of the Retreat House and the reception area was ready to be decorated when we arrived as well. We had excellent wildlife viewing of a bear, lots of deer, coyote, fox and turkeys! (Remember, this is Northern Minnesota...we LIKE to see stuff like that!) On the day of our wedding, it was predicted to be sunny and warm but it was actually rainy, cloudy and thundering. Our photographers loved it and I was surprised to see that it only made the venue prettier to me. As I was about to walk down the aisle, Corey already had umbrellas for our 160-some guests including the wedding party. We did have the option to move the wedding inside but we decided against it because it looked like the rain was going to move. In the end, we got married in the pouring rain and we wouldn't have it any other way! Supplies were given to us as we needed them and food allergies were taken very seriously for myself and my guests. Priscilla and Corey even got in with the support staff to help serve dinner. In all, the only complaint we have is that our moment at this beautiful venue is over but it certainly left us with many memories we can look back on. It was so great to have the Retreat House to allow our wedding party to have somewhere to stay and allowed my husband and I to spend quality time with them.

Corey is a great guy, always friendly and willing to help with anything! We really enjoyed him. He is a big reason as to what makes this place great! We didn’t see Priscilla quite as much, but each interaction with her was great and it was nice to see her working as part of the serving/kitchen staff! edding date back a whole year! The retreat house is an excellent way to have close family and the bridal party stay at because it is just a few feet away from the event center and its amazing!! All our guests that stayed there had nothing but good things to say. Also, lets not forget to mention Corey and the bartender Ryan. The only way to describe Corey is incredible! He stepped in last minute to run our ceremony music, helped set things up that I didn't even know would be possible but was what my dream was, and was always around to answer questions or have a good laugh! And Ryan, he was so nice and sweet to all of our guests! Very accommodating by making our "special cocktail" and was always there when we needed to take a breather from the dance floor and have a chat! I cannot say enough good things about Pine Peaks and I am so glad we chose them for our wedding venue. It was magical and everything we could of dreamed of. THANK YOU so much to everyone who helped. We could not of done it without all of you!!

options for out-of-town campers was a plus. The corn field and mature trees give our photographer plenty of photo options. They also had a retreat house on site that was amazing to use for the day of our wedding. The reception area was beautiful and spacious. We were allowed to bring in our own desserts and appetizers. We kept the desserts and appetizers fresh in the recently upgraded restaurant/catering room. The bar and social area led to an outside patio, next to the pond. The decorative lights made a perfect setting for evening photos. Pine Peaks provides an enormous amount of decorations to choose from. Decorations such as, but not limited to candles, different kinds of table liners to choose from, different styles of vases, platters for desserts, to gift boxes for cards. We did bring in a few personalized decorations otherwise they had it all there. They will have everything you need for your wedding. Our ceremony was outdoors, and the landscaping was manicured to a level of a master’s garden. It was well maintained, excellent for taking pictures. Also, they were up to date with their technology. We didn’t have to hire anyone to help coordinate the music and microphones for our ceremony. Corey helped set all that up. Priscilla and Corey were so helpful and easily accessible. They responded quickly with questions or concerns we had. They were there the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, and it did. Priscilla did us the honor of officiating our wedding. We highly recommend Pine Peaks Event Center. It’s a magnificent place that will provide a beautiful and memorable wedding. It was the perfect place for our wedding.

Pine Peaks team will go to give you the perfect wedding, these people LOVE love and they genuinely care about your big day. After a morning full of thunderstorms we had a 3 hour window with 50% chance of rain and asked them to set chairs up outside just in case we could have the ceremony in the spot we always wanted, with only an hour and a half before go time they sent up over 100 chairs not even knowing for sure that we could get married outside (we did, it was BEAUTIFUL). We worked with a new caterer and with the last minute indoor seating change they were short staffed and Pricsilla and Corey were out bussing tables which is not their job. They hung the edison bulbs we planned to put outside in the event center the morning of the wedding to help make it feel more like the pavilion we wanted. When we were ready to start dancing lightning struck and fried the sound system, they had a back up set up in less than 30 minutes and we were able to dance the night away until midnight. The staff left at midnight and were back cleaning up by 6 AM so all of our stuff was separated and ready for us to pack up by 10 am. None of these things were promised in a contract but the new owners (who are all I can speak to) care more about your special day than any other venue possibly could. It's worth every penny, 10/10 these people are incredible, book your wedding here.

ugh good things about the entirety of our experience with them, which is extensive considering our wedding was delayed for a whole year due to Covid! But every step of the way, Priscilla and Corey were there for us. From the initial hardship of having to postpone, to the joy of actually having our perfect day, it wouldn't have been possible without them and I'll forever be grateful for everything they did for my husband and I through our entire process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with soaring pines and a sprawling view of the adjacent countryside. Wind whispers through the tree line which is an excellent windbreak for the venue itself, allowing participants and guests a welcome degree of shelter from any adverse conditions. And the interior of the venue is just as stunning with it's décor. Not only is it magical as it is, but the extensive collection of decorations can make any event exactly as you imagine, whatever the theme. There's so much here that's catered to the needs of your event, and it becomes increasingly clear just how much thought went into the whole thing when it comes to the needs of anyone who'd utilize it. Full sound system, restaurant-grade kitchen which is open to utilize for the rehearsal dinner, ample space that can be converted for dinner, dancing, or gatherings, amazing lights, and the ambience both of the interior and exterior are truly magical. It's its own little island of serenity and warmth. And the retreat house! My goodness, the retreat house! What a beautiful, sizeable cabin! Our entire wedding party were more than impressed, and my husband and I enjoyed all it has to offer from the heated porch to the full gym! Everything has been thought of for folks to sit back, relax, and enjoy themselves to the utmost. Our entire stay was nothing but bliss as we enjoyed the extensive amenities. Everything you need is here, and it overlooks the entirety of the beautiful property. Best of all, it's adjacent to the event center itself, so all we had to do between setup and wrapping up was just a quick walk back and forth. I could go on and on, but I'll keep it simple from here on out. If you're looking for a venue to have your wedding, this is your place. The prices, the people, the venue, the service...it's everything you could ever ask for. Priscilla and Corey made our wedding perfect in every way. Absolutely everything was beyond our hopes and dreams, and we're so grateful we were able to have our wedding at Pine Peaks. It was the best day of our lives. It can be where yours is too.

t attention to detail, and provides excellent customer service. We can't thank her enough for how wonderful she was throughout our entire wedding planning process, especially in the midst of COVID. The venue itself is also incredible. One of the main reasons we chose it is because they have all the decorations you could ever want which you are free to use, which saves so much money! Everything from candles to vases to signs to wraps to centerpieces... you name it, they've got it. The other thing that we absolutely loved was the retreat house which is just a few steps away from the venue. Our family had the BEST time staying there all together. We made very good use of the pool table, bar, and gym in the basement, and the large kitchen was perfect for preparing big meals together. The master suite is amazing as well -- it has the world's best bathtub and shower, we loved watching tv in bed with the fireplace on, and it was SO nice to have my own hair and makeup suite attached to the master! All my girls were able to get ready with me and it made the morning so fun. There are mirrors EVERYWHERE -- they've really thought of everything. Lastly, the grounds are also gorgeous and there are so many wonderful options for pictures outside (even when it's -30 degrees on your wedding day like it was for ours). Every single one of our family members was saying they hope they can come back again for another wedding someday. It is truly the perfect wedding venue and you will not regret booking it!

ekend, arriving Wed with our wedding partying arriving Thursday was a dream. We were able to actually enjoy our wedding and everyone with us. The Retreat house was ideal for our wedding party with kids in the loft, not having to leave at all for anything. My girls loved getting ready in the house with hair and makeup coming to us! The guys loved downstairs with their space and since a lot of the wedding party had kids (our nieces/newphews) which they needed to oversee getting ready, it made it that much easier on everyone. We had our rehearsal dinner with grilling out. My now husband was so excited to be able to have the chance to do that with his brothers. Everything is there for you, all we had to do was being our own food. The table and chairs were set up and we quickly decorated them with items there. Decorations are the gem of this place - I bought barely anything besides 2 small signs, a cake topper, honeymoon fund box and our fresh flowers/greenery we did ourselves, everything else was from Pine Peaks treasure trove! It's unbelievable what they have!!! We were able to even do Sunday brunch with family on Sunday at the retreat house. Priscilla and David were so easy to work with as we booked the venue right before the Covid shutdown. They were amazing at keeping tabs on me especially when this was all new to them. I didn't have one hiccup from them and I heard a lot of horror stories from other covid brides with their venues so I was beyond grateful for all they did despite not knowing themselves what the future held. I kept planning and hoping for the best and would get updates on what they knew in terms of what we needed to change or do. This right here shows you the type of people they are are they really do care about all their couples. They both were so excited for us as we are the first wedding there since the shutdown in March - they were all rooting for us! Maucieri’s Catering was also super easy to work with and did our tasting during the shutdown once restaurants could open again. It didn't feel any different to us besides having to have it at the venue instead of the restaurant. The food is amazing and very budget friendly, we opted for 3 entree's in a buffet since it was so affordable. We still have guest raving about our food! We also used them to cater the cocktail hour and that was ideal even though you can bring your own (limited) food for the cocktail hour, it was way more affordable than I thought and people loved the options of salmon tartlets, deviled eggs, fruit kabobs and italian meatballs cocktail sized. We brought our own cake, s'mores kits, godiva chocolate and macaroons (all individually wrapped due to Covid!) , Maucieri’s Catering sliced and served our cake and that's included in the cost. Which is unheard of. They included 10 late night wood fired pizzas and 3 were gluten free. I'm gluten free and they were SO accommodating to my needs. Pine Peaks is like no other venue because it truly has way more than any venue can offer. You won't be disappointed and neither will your guests.

vacation spot on earth. We LOVED the concept of having the retreat house and entire property for 5 days. We took full advantage by having our 20+ wedding party friends stay at the house with us. We brought our boats up and had a fun day out on the lakes. We had a cookout and games out on the lawn on Thursday. On Friday the guys went golfing while the girls decorated which was so much fun using the pine peaks treasure trove of decorations! And a super fun rehearsal dinner right at the pavilion on Friday. We even had a Sunday brunch on the porch at the house. If you don’t want your wedding to be a typical 8-hour event that goes way too fast, this is the place to do it! Everyone was blown away by the beautiful grounds and the food as well! And the best part was having our fur baby right there with us partying the night away. We brought our dance floor outside due to covid and it was better than it even could’ve been if we stayed indoors.

We had access to the endless decor for both the wedding and grooms dinner, which was held in the pavilion on Friday and they cleaned and re-decorated for the wedding Saturday! a must as we did not want other people to be in or around our wedding. We wanted to also make sure everything was in the same area for our guests so they did not need to travel to different places. Also, we wanted somewhere nearby for our friends and family traveling far away to stay. Pine Peaks had all of this! The Pine Peaks hotel is right up the road, all activities could be held in the large building, and it was in a very secluded area with dazzling lights covering the trees and beautiful outside decor. When we did the tour of Pine Peaks we were completely blown away by how large and accommodating the building was as well as how stunning everything was. It was gorgeous. With the venue, you also get an entire loft full of decor you can use, help setting everything up by the amazing Cory who helped beyond what we expected, immediate response if we ever had questions about anything from Dave and Julie, and so much more. Also, they have a caterer already associated with them (Maucieri's Italian Bistro) so that was one less thing we had to worry about and the food was delicious! We had a Harry Potter wedding which we were unsure how any venue would react to that but Dave and Julie were so kind, flexible, and excited to try something new. They let us come in a day early to get settled in and were there everyday helping us with whatever we needed. They also let me and my husband stay a day extra in the retreat house. Julie was an amazing help giving us advice of how to set things up, ideas for decorating, etc. Dave made sure that all our questions were answered so we were prepared and comfortable months before the wedding. Cory was amazing helping us set everything up and truly was such a blessing to have during all the days we were there so we did not have to worry about much. They all went above and beyond for us. A few examples...I forgot my white bridal robe for the morning of the wedding at my home which is 30 minutes away from the venue. I was have a slight panic attack since all my bridesmaids has gold robes but one of the owners Julie, at 7 in the morning, brought one she had to me. Also, there was a lot of snow on the ground being middle of December and there was a beautiful area of trees we wanted to take pictures but couldn’t because of the snow. But, Cory shoveled an entire patch and huge circle out for us so we could take pictures! Lastly, they purchased magnets for us to help hang our floating candles which we never would have thought of! I could go on forever about how perfect and amazing our wedding was because of this place and the help from Julie, Dave, and Cory. I very highly recommend them. It could not have been more perfect!

The on-site retreat house was a game changer so we were only steps away from the venue for days leading up to the wedding and could set-up at a more leisurely pace rather than a whirlwind 24hrs most places allow. Despite 17” of snow the staff went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests were well taken care of and things ran smoothly. We are so grateful for everything Pine Peaks did to make our wedding special.

My daughter could not find her robe to get ready in and Julie made her way over to the house before 7am with a handful of her own ROBES just to make my daughter feel at ease and it was really just above and beyond!!! I can also not say enough about working with Cory. He really goes way beyond his job duties and makes everything just perfect!! I really can not put into enough words how perfect and amazing everything was!! This will be a weekend we will always remember!!!
