Pink by Mitchell

Our wedding is coming up soon and the planning is soft as a bunny :D. Pink is taking care of everything and I haven't got any complaints. If anything changes I will update this but so far so good! Mitchell is taking care of us and so far she is keeping me in my budget.

My husband and I resently moved to Idaho and found that most of the local wedding bussiness's are all over priced. Not to mention they have limited creativity. I read the review before we met with Mitchell and even asked about why she was fired from her old job. As a firm beleiver in understanding there are two sides to the story Mitchell assured us that she did not get fired, but infact Aadvarck was a hostile work enviroment with the owners. Mitchell said it was her choice to move on and create her own wedding bussiness. GOOD THING SHE DID, we saved far more with her plus got everything I wanted. All I needed to do was tell her some idea's and she would make up drawings of my dreams! My husband and I are very happy with our wedding and will spread the word that Mitchell is the new cutting edge.

I worked with Mitchell for about 6 months on my wedding. I was promised a coordinator on the day of the wedding 50 hours of planning, a spread sheet of a itemized budget, great deals on vendors she KNOWS and has connections with and great service for about $1500 on just that alone, I wasn't told that I had to spend an extra $1500 on decor alone. Every meeting was unstructured. I had no idea how to plan a wedding, hence hiring her, and she made it worse. We talked about random things at every meeting and never had a focus even though I begged for focus meetings. Every time I asked her about a price on a certain flower or invitation she would say "it depends". She never new prices and was constantly extremely condescending and forgetful. At the following meetings she would find out SOME of the prices and later when I would be ready to order the chargers or whatever it was we talked about she would give me a different price! When I would correct her she would say..."Oh it's not $250?, It's $200! Whatever!" She would seriously say "Whatever" all the time. She rolled her eyes and laughed and mocked my husband and I almost at every meeting, not realizing it because that is just the type of person she is. She promised me a timeline of the wedding day, never happened, she promised me a budget, never happened (she said she used to work in NEW YORK, not BOISE, so she didn't know any vendors and the people in NEW YORK never had budgets) That really made me feel like a cheap bride even though I was having a $20,000 wedding! She was supposed to tell me when we were at the half way mark (I had 50 hours of planning) and never did. I know I could have timed it, but I'm not the wedding planner! That was her job, obviously I HIRED THEM FOR $1500 to keep track of that crap because I am busy. DO SOMETHING! And her items are overpriced!
