Pinnacle Weddings Planning

Working with the entire Pinnacle Weddings team was a dream come true!! We hired Pinnacle for the partial planning package, photography, and DJ, and it was the best decision we made. For planning- I met with the owner Linda to discuss planning packages and the planning process, and then was matched with Abby as a lead planner and Valerie as her day-of assist. The entire team was amazing to work with, and Abby helped make my vision come to life every step of the way. Access to an all-inclusive wedding planning website was included in the planning package which helped us design the layout and keep track of vendors, timeline, payments, etc. On the day of, Abby and Valerie were so attentive and kept everything running smoothly. They also did an amazing job setting up the space and including all of my personal DIY decor! The girls' hair and makeup ran pretty late the day of the wedding, and Abby kept all the vendors including transportation in the loop and flawlessly adjusted the timeline to keep things running smoothly. By the end of the planning and wedding process, she felt more like a friend than a wedding planner, which is pretty special. For photography we booked the full day with Carrie and she was perfect! She made sure to meet with us during the planning process to discuss shot list, flow of the day, and what our goals were with photography. On the day of, she prioritized making us feel comfortable, going with the flow of our day, and capturing beautiful candid moments that really captured all the love of our wedding day. All of our family and wedding party commented on how sweet she was, and by the end of the night it felt like we had known her for years. Mawali was our DJ and he kept the energy and vibes up all night which was exactly what we wanted! He made time to meet with us during the planning process, played all of our must-play songs, and worked closely with the rest of the Pinnacle team to ensure we stuck to the timeline with speeches, toasts, and announcements. He also managed our music before, during, and after the ceremony which was beautifully done. You cannot go wrong with hiring any part of the Pinnacle Weddings team, but I think there is truly such a valuable benefit to booking them as a package. They work so well together and ensure that their clients have the best memories of their special day!

The Pinnacle team is absolutely incredible for wedding coordinating needs! Abby is an amazing human and we loved working with her through the final stages of wedding planning! She is SO on top of everything, even behind the scenes with our other vendors. We loved the option for partial planning packages, as we had most of our vendors already selected during our long engagement. Out of all of our vendors, Pinnacle was the BEST. They are absolutely the reason our wedding went so smoothly. Darby was also very helpful on wedding day as our secondary coordinator! Couldn't recommend Abby & the Pinnacle team enough! Emma Dutton, Carrie Warner, Linda Warner, and Jill the DJ all made it so easy and it was the best day of our lives. Meeting with Emma once a month leading up the the weeding was so easy and she made is nice and quick and got through everything in 20 minutes. They say weddings are stressful but if you book with Pinnacle your wedding will be a breeze!

Emma and the Pinnacle team were the best money spent for our wedding budget! I come from a project management background and appreciate the different levels of service packages they offer. We chose the "Month-of" planning package. Starting from the very first planning meeting with Linda and Emma to go over timeline and recommended vendor partners, to check-ins throughout the year while using their web-based platform, to the day of, every step of the way was seamless! This was a destination wedding for us and the Pinnacle team made this process feel like we were right down the street! We also hired their DJ (which people are still RAVING about!) The most important piece of advise I can give to future brides is to choose a planner that you feel comfortable with. Emma was just that! She's easy-going, but organized and a true "do-er" type of planner. She made the planning process easy and fun and on the day-of I didn't have to worry about a single task or detail. She was a calming vibe in times of stress (she and her assistant were on their hands and knees searching for my wedding band in the sand after it got dropped - it was found!) and she knew how and when to heard our wedding party and guest throughout the day. To put it simply, Emma is AWESOME and you definitely need her on your wedding planning team!

Emma was our lead planner from Pinnacle for our wedding at the South Carolina Aquarium, and she was AMAZING. It is thanks to her work that our day was perfect, beyond our wildest imagination. We were also very impressed by our interactions with Linda, the owner, and Andy, our DJ. We went into wedding planning with a relatively short timeline (6 months), planning from out-of-state, and without a clear vision of what we wanted our day to be like - we had a venue and a photographer in mind, but otherwise knew nothing about the timeline, décor, other vendors, meals, managing our guest list, etc. Emma provided expert advice, and the vendors she and Pinnacle recommended were all spot-on - Emma and Linda's experience and connections in the Charleston wedding industry are invaluable. Our regular meetings with Emma kept us calm and on-track during planning. The planning website Pinnacle uses was helpful for keeping track of RSVPs, seating, budget, vendor contacts, etc. Her tips helped us get as mileage as possible out of our wedding budget and her décor and tablescape suggestions were somehow perfectly tailored to our tastes (even though we didn't know what we wanted!). She graciously accommodated frequent changes to the reception timeline on my end and a few quirky things we wanted to do at the reception (such as a slideshow), and she even provided a few items from her own home to make our day perfect. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Emma coordinating among vendors, confirming everything, and especially figuring out exactly what rentals we needed - we kept commenting to each other that she was worth her weight in gold for that alone - it would have taken us so much time and stress to figure out if we were on our own and/or didn't have complete trust in her. There was an unpreventable hiccup with my hair and makeup stylist the morning of the wedding that could have been extremely stressful without Pinnacle, but Emma solved the problem before I even found out about it. We were able to ship our personal decor to her from out-of-state, and everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. Emma and her day-of team (Paula, Así, Christian) were amazing at making everything run smoothly during our wedding day - to my knowledge, our parents, families, and our wedding party did not have to lift a finger; they were just able to participate and enjoy themselves. Every practical detail was taken care of, everything was on time, and it all looked perfect. This was especially important at our venue, which vendors could not access until an hour before guests were slated to arrive - setup had to be extremely efficient! They were fun and tactful at making sure guests, the wedding party, and family members were where they needed to be. DJ Andy was a pro at seamless transitions during the reception, and we had a sweet moment talking with him at the end of the night. Finally, Emma and everyone at Pinnacle just had fun personalities and were a treat to work with. We will always remember their role in our special day, and cannot recommend them enough!!

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Pinnacle throughout our wedding planning process. We are from another state, and they have made our process and experience so seamless! We had Christi for our photographer and Taylor for our DJ. They were both amazing to work with and exceeded expectations on our wedding day! Thank you so much, we are so lucky to have had Christi and Taylor apart of our day! Lastly, we had Emma as our wedding planner, an absolute angel on earth! Emma is absolutely incredible at what she does. She is very professional, sweet, kind and knowledgeable! We were in contact all year and she made our destination wedding so easy and so much fun to plan! I always looked forward to our meetings on Google chat! Our wedding day, forget it, she was everything and more! She completely blew us away with how she made our day feel so magical and perfect. At the end of our night I cried, because I was going to miss her so much. If you need or are thinking about having a wedding planned, you will not regret Emma! Everyone at Pinnacle is outstanding. Where do I even start?! Emma really took this wedding and ran with it, especially towards the final months. We used Pinnacle as partial planners so I got an amazing group of vendors but Pinnacle gave me their suggestions as well as never questioned when I called to ask about anything. Of course as always towards the end, everything has to come to life and Emma really understood my vision and pulled together all the vendors to pull it off and keep to timeline. During rehearsal (and even the wedding when needed, aka the exit), she demanded attention and gave very clear, concise direction. It rained on my wedding day, of course, and Emma waited as long as she could and tried to hold off putting the rain plan into action because she knew it was not the plan A of the wedding. I was completely stress free the whole wedding day knowing that she was doing everything she could do to make it perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend Pinnacle and Emma.
