learning that they could handle almost all of my vendor needs was amazing. It was very clear that they were very familiar with our venue (as our venue was with them) Emma, my lead planner, was fantastic throughout the entire process, through our bi-monthly zoom meetings, being in contact with my venue, keeping me informed of changes, and reaching out to my other vendors for me, she did it all and made the process a breeze. And I cannot speak more highly of her work the day of (along with assistant Sadie!)--my groom and I did not worry about a single thing that day-from her organization down to ensuring we have plates at the sweetheart table and always had drinks in our hands, just absolutely fabulous. And, as I said, we utilized Pinnacle for their other services as well, with DJ Bekster, who had our musical journey come to life and had the dance floor full all night long (and even stayed so we could have our private dance even though the rain started to fall!) and Nina, our photographer who promised she would be my personal paparazzi all night long, and boy was she! She sent us our sneak peak (100 photos!) within 48 hours and I just can't wait to see what else she captured. Just truly a great experience all around and I would truly recommend them.

We also had Carrie, the Pinnacle Photographer, for our photos and the sneak peak we received only a few days after the wedding are absolutely gorgeous. I cannot recommend this team enough! n floor plans and giving insider tips about the venue we had chosen. This isn’t something I had gotten from other planners we interviewed, so I immediately locked them in that same day. Abby was our planner and was AMAZING from day 1! She recommended the absolute best vendors - I loved every single vendor we worked with and wouldn’t change a single thing. On the actual day everything went so smoothly. Also - shout out to Carrie Ann Warner, the in house photographer who delivered absolutely stunning photos. We’ve only received the sneak peaks so far (our wedding was 3 days ago and we already got them!), and I can’t wait to see the full thing. I cannot stress how perfect our day went. I would choose Pinnacle and Carrie 10 out of 10 times given the chance 💕

t time my daughter met with Linda, she immediately had a good feeling. After we selected the partial planning package, we were told Emma Dutton would be our planner. From the first zoom meeting with Emma, we knew we were in the best hands. Emma was super organized, helpful, a good listener, and she was always positive. Whenever we needed to contact Emma, we could often catch her right away, but if we couldn't talk to her right away, she always got back to us in a timely manner. The zoom meetings along with the aisle planner site they set up for us, kept us always on track. Emma suggested great vendors for us and also would meet us when we needed her for some of the bigger things on the list such as catering and rentals. As we are definitely type A personalities that would get down to the finest details, we are grateful Emma showed us her high level of patience:). By the week before the wedding, my daughter and I felt completely relaxed as we knew were in good shape and were in good hands. The rehearsal ran smoothly thank you to Emma (and Pastor John Peters who we highly recommend). The day of the wedding, Emma and her crew worked endlessly to give us the most beautiful day. I could go on and on. What a fabulous experience that we are so grateful for. I just hope we get the chance to use Pinnacle again one day!!

She kept everyone organized during rehearsal and on our wedding day, which is hard to do with a wedding party full of party people like ours. We know there were a million little things she did on the wedding day to keep things running smoothly that we'll never know about and we're so grateful. Emma made sure our day was perfect! While she is an utmost professional and amazing businesswoman, Linda knows how to have fun and makes planning a joy! As type-A attorneys, we can have high expectations - Linda and her team exceeded them at every turn. Linda was also willing to work with our schedule, understanding that we both work full time and frequently needed a later meeting time. We first saw Linda in action as guests of another wedding. Our friends had planned an outdoor ceremony and, due to a massive thunderstorm, had to move inside. But, as guests, we never would have known! Linda made the transition so seamless that everything seemed meant to be. We had such a phenomenal experience as guests, that we knew Linda had to be our planner! Lo and behold, it rained on our day as well, but I knew not to be stressed because Linda and the Pinnacle team know how to pivot like pros. Our ceremony was just as beautiful and well organized with our backup plan as it would have been with Plan A. If you don’t have a clue where to start with vendors (and let’s be honest, who knows where to get lighting and napkins and chairs?!), Linda has the BEST recommendations. We relied on her to connect us with reputable vendors and had no regrets. Linda is also mindful of your budget, selecting vendors that match your price range, style and who provide the highest level of professionalism. Whenever an issue arose (as they are bound to over the course of planning a big event), Linda was present, accessible, and calm under pressure to help us navigate our way to the best possible solution. With Linda’s help, we were able to plan a 150+ person Charleston, SC wedding while being based in Charlotte, NC. The reviews from our guests were outstanding! Everyone was able to see the big ticket moments - from the ceremony, to the first dance, to the cake cutting, our day was perfectly timed to maximize the guest experience. Shoutout to Linda’s amazing timeline! On a personal note, I am so thankful that I had Linda in my corner on our wedding day. My own mother has health struggles and could not be as involved in the planning process as I would have hoped. Linda was there for me every step of the way. ppointed throughout the year long planning process as our planner, Linda, did not meet our expectations. Linda was unorganized throughout the planning process relying heavily on her website and did not recall specifics regarding our wedding. She did not typically engage in direct communication with our vendors and would only put us in contact for an initial quote. Any issues that came up throughout the process were always identified by us and not our planner such as quotes that have different number of seats, wrong dates and times, or items that we did not require. (which ended up increasing the price in some cases). We felt that she did not prioritize our best interests, often seeming to align more with the vendors than with us as her clients. Specifically pitching her in house DJ at a premium versus what he charges directly, pitching us to have additional bartenders to minimize lines which were unnecessary for a wedding of our size, and pushing us towards a vendor which she knew as opposed to a vendor that we found that was in budget. At the rehearsal, she was not prepared with where family and wedding party were standing leaving people confused and feeling unprepared. On the day of the wedding, she again was not prepared with not specifics that we discussed regarding timing and placements of items. Rather than confirming logistics with the venue prior to the day of our wedding, we show up to the venue and the doors were locked, she did not know that there was only one power source for the DJ so the location which we planned was not possible, and she did not know that fake flower petals were not allowed for the flower girls by our venue leaving our florist scrambling to find a solution. As a result, many critical aspects of the wedding day did not run as smoothly as we had anticipated. Thankfully, our friends, family, and vendors stepped in on multiple occasions to help manage key aspects of the event. While the wedding ultimately turned out beautifully thanks to the contributions of those around us, we were deeply disappointed by the level of service provided by Pinnacle Wedding Planning and would not recommend their services based on our experience.
