Erin / Plain With Sprinkles was without a doubt the absolute best decision we made in wedding planning!!! We were drawn to PWS because of their inclusive, non-traditional, intentional, relaxed, and cool vibe. When we met Erin, we knew it would be a good match – she just seemed to get us, what we valued, and what we were looking for during the wedding planning process (including emotionally). We also found out that she seems to be the favorite of every other Asheville wedding vendor, which made us feel like VIPs! Erin set the tone for the entire process and ultimately helped us have quite literally the best day of our lives. Some things we loved: Planning platform & thorough to do list/calendar – this alone was worth every penny, kept us on track, and made us feel confident we weren’t forgetting anything! Recommended vendor shortlist – because we trusted Erin so much, we knew whoever she recommended for catering, bar, DJ, etc. would be fantastic and a great fit for our vibe. And they were! Accessibility and advice throughout – while we actually officially only had her services for 30 days out, Erin was so generous with her time and expertise throughout the entire process, always willing to answer a text or take a call when we needed her advice. Stellar support and execution during the weekend itself – all of our friends and family loved how she was both supportive/helpful AND completely in charge. We could all relax knowing that Erin not only had shit fully covered, but that she would make sure we had fun along the way. Basically, we’re obsessed with Erin & the entire PWS operation! We can’t thank her enough for what she did to make our day so special, fun, and stress free.

Sierra. Is. The. BEST!!!!!!! I cannot overemphasize how smart, talented, kind, and calming she is!! From day one Sierra went above and beyond with her wedding planning services. We chose the “Just a Scoop” package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn’t know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. She also is a very talented calligraphist and designer and we hired her services for the seating arrangement signs and dessert displays and they both looked amazing!!! We also booked her polaroid guest book station and not only did she provide and set up everything we needed but she also went around and took photos of our guests, which have given us memories we’ll cherish forever! Hiring Sierra is the best choice anyone could make for their wedding experience. Not only would we choose to work with her again and again, but I’m currently full-court-pressing all my engaged friends to get married in Asheville solely to work with Sierra as a wedding planner! Book her ASAP!!

I cannot begin to write the words to describe how great Erin and PWS was at helping me plan my wedding. Erin helped me to be calm (a massive feat!!). She was so caring and also so down to earth. I felt like she had everything under control and she helped me so much in the fine tuning and details of the wedding. Her energy helped me see what was important, what wasn’t and was so on top of everything the day of. I sincerely believe that Erin helped put me in a mindset to be calm and enjoy my wedding day. We met with a few wedding coordinators before we found Plain with Sprinkles and Erin. Our intro calls/research never felt like we’d found the right fit until we got to her - we immediately knew. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked about a year in advance and with the Just a Scoop package we met with her every three months to pick her brain/fill her in on progress. When we got on calls with her she gave us solid advice and next steps and even told us when we didn’t need to bother with something unless it was important to us (i.e. the hotel room block i really didn’t want to do). We honestly felt like we were having a fun conversation with a friend and looked forward to our check ins. Leading up to the wedding, she took over EVERYTHING. She did the confirmations with the vendors, she made sure we were all set with timelines and she even created a WTF sheet that told all of our important parties exactly what they needed for the weekend. Our wedding day was an absolute blast - it was exactly what we wanted. Erin was a huge part of it being such a perfect day. I didn’t have to worry about anything and if something went wrong I never saw it (which is all you can ask for). She set everything up perfectly, managed everyone on site, and neatly put everything in our car at the end of the night. If you’re planning a wedding in Asheville, do yourself and your wedding the biggest favor: work with Plain with Sprinkles.

My partner Jeff and I recently tied the knot at Brown Mountain Beach Resort in Lenoir, NC, and we owe the seamless execution of our beautiful day (and weekend, honestly) to Erin and her assistant Amber. We were drawn to PWS by the inclusive, loving language on their website. After our initial call with Erin, we could tell she was going to be the best option when it came to representing our values (love, tolerance, inclusivity, ETC) and have our back throughout the process! We didn't have a venue decided when we had that first call, and Erin recommended Brown Mountain Beach Resort based on our wish for an outdoor celebration where guests could stay onsite. It was the perfect choice, and I don't know that we would have found it without Erin's recommendation! From the beginning, Erin's calm and reassuring presence made the entire process a joy. We did the "Just a Scoop" package, which was a great fit for us. The phone check-ins throughout helped us feel like we were running on track. Her organization skills on the day were spot-on, ensuring our day flowed seamlessly without too much input from us. She and her assistant Amber worked together to handle everything from vendor coordination to keeping us on schedule. In the end, we had a wedding that exceeded our wildest expectations where we were able to remove ourselves from the details and focus on enjoying a damn good party. Erin's expertise and passion for creating unforgettable moments truly made our day special. Our heartfelt thanks to Erin and the PWS team for making our wedding weekend one we'll treasure forever!

Sierra from PWS was beyond helpful, warm, and on top of things for our planning process. She was very organized and a great resource for questions and vendor planning help. On our wedding day, I trusted her with feedback and follow-through for everything from communicating with tricky family members to last minute decor updates. Everyone on our vendor team and in our wedding parties had the best compliments to share about their own experience communicating with Sierra. We love SIERRA SO MUCH!!!!

Our guests, months later, continued to comment that our wedding was perfect and everything went so smoothly. That in and of itself is a glowing review, but the best part is that my wife and I barely thought about anything logistical the whole weekend. Sierra made sure we were able to enjoy our special day just as much as our guests! She was also instrumental in the planning process: helping us set goals and deadlines, and keeping us aware of and on top of everything we needed to be doing. Even the venue manager was impressed with how on top of everything she was. I cannot recommend Plain With Sprinkles enough!

Sierra at Plain With Sprinkles is the most amazing human being ever! She was so incredibly helpful, attentive and caring from our first meeting all the way til we were driving home on our wedding night. Our planning period was very short but her organizational skills and calming, encouraging approach really made it all possible.

I'm a photographer who got to work with Erin and the team at PWS a few months ago, and they are unmatched in their ability to help a couple create a truly unique event that is 100% authentic to them. The celebration on which I worked alongside them was one of the most unique, thoughtful and special ones I've witnessed, and it went seamlessly, with them working behind the scenes all day to make sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. If you want someone to brainstorm fresh, unique, and true-to-you elements of your wedding day, these are your people. Would love to photograph another one of their events one day.

PWS and especially Erin, who worked as our coordinator, were probably the most instrumental pieces of making our wedding day as beautiful and as smooth as it was. We chose the ‘plain with a cherry’ package with added design help, and Erin listened to all of our scattered ideas and helped us from the beginning to put everything together and make our wedding come to life. She also met with us throughout the months leading up to our wedding and helped us both with the coordination/planning side and with just making sure that we were feeling and doing okay. Every single time we were feeling overwhelmed or a little crazy, after talking to Erin, we felt instantly more at ease and secure in how things were going. Erin made us feel genuinely cared for and supported throughout the whole planning process and wedding day, and thanks to her, we were able to relax and enjoy knowing that things were in her ultra capable hands! We found so many of our vendors through PWS, and, as a queer couple, we felt so safe and comfortable knowing that the vendors PWS recommends are vetted and trusted by them. We also luckily got to work with Sierra, too, through her own signage business (Freckles and Ink), but she stayed around and helped with so much on our actual wedding day beyond just the signage! We cannot recommend PWS enough, and we are so, so grateful to them (and especially Erin) for all of the hard work put into us and our day. All of our guests, our parents, and everyone in our wedding party couldn’t stop singing Erin’s praises throughout our wedding day, and we won’t either. :)

If I could hire Erin & team for every life event I would! We worked with Erin for over a year as we planned a destination Indian fusion wedding from across the country, which sounds just as big as a job as it was, but Erin made the planning process and our wedding a season of life we will never forget! From my first phone call with Margo I knew she was the wedding coordinator for us! She matched me and my fiancé's energy when it came to our excitement and attention to detail. It was obvious she was passionate about her job and making sure our planning process and wedding weekend was as stress free as possible. We chose the “Just A Scoop” service because we felt confident in our abilities to find vendors and create our vision but needed some guidance to keep us on track. When Margo took over the logistics a little over a month out, it was like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. Having her to handle the details and conversations with our vendors was a huge help. She helped us make decisions, answered questions, and was easy to communicate with throughout our entire engagement. Margo always made us feel like her top priority even though we knew she had other clients. Her organization and multitasking skills were truly top notch. On our wedding day, she brought our vision and dream to life with decorating and making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. I cannot speak highly enough of PWS. Erin (our planner, not me!) was our wedding planner and she did an absolutely incredible job. We also worked with Sierra, who helped with logistics and communication. We got the "Plain With A Cherry" wedding management package and are so, so glad we did. PWS was incredibly helpful from the start. We met with Erin virtually several times throughout the year, where she both encouraged and pushed us to make sure we were on track with our planning. She was never judgmental and was always quick to respond and happy to answer our questions, making sure we were taking care of our mental health and not losing sight of the joy we wanted from our wedding. As a queer couple, it was extremely important for us to trust our planner to understand the unique challenges we faced in planning our wedding and to recommend vendors who were wholeheartedly queer-friendly. This was especially important since we do not live in the area, and PWS was crucial in helping us find reputable vendors who all did an excellent job. Also, if there was ever a vendor who didn't respond quickly, just having PWS on the email would prompt the vendor to reply when needed. And if we forgot to respond to something important, Erin helped us stay accountable by sending us a reminder too. In the month leading up to the wedding, PWS coordinated our vendors, taking over and answering questions when needed. Erin kept us on the right track and handled numerous logistics, allowing my wife and me to keep working full time right up until the week of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was there from the early morning until late at night, coordinating vendors, corralling family, and making sure we had everything we needed (including plenty of water!) More than anything, she never lost sight of our dream: to have a wedding filled with joy, where our guests felt as honored to be there as we were honored to have them attend. I would highly recommend PWS for anyone planning a wedding in the Asheville area. They are INCREDIBLY worth it. Thank y'all so much!

When my wife and I embarked on our wedding planning, we knew we would need help. Beyond that, we didn’t know exactly what we needed until we met Erin. She was it. A down to earth professional who exuded confidence, compassion, and care for the things that really matter. Erin stepped in to coordinate with our vendors and help execute our vision. You NEED to book PWS for your wedding. I had the immense pleasure of working with Sierra & when I tell you she is a wedding planning goddess, I mean it!!! I went to school for & am an event planner myself so I planned a majority of my wedding, but knew that I wanted to relax a little more before the wedding so I wanted month of coordination leading up to the big day to take over vendor communication so I could focus on myself & my now husband. Sierra. was. AMAZING. The service we booked ended up being around 8-10 weeks of coordination so she actually helped me finish up the last of my big decisions & planning details before taking over all the vendors herself. It was such a huge relief. I genuinely don’t think my wedding would have been half of what it was without her & I know the other team members at PWS are equally as amazing, so whoever you work with will make your perfect day come true. She listened to all my crazy ideas & honored all the little details I was so particular about beautifully. She also helped easy my mind in times of panic that every bride feels while trying to get everything in order. I’m also familiar with the Asheville/Western NC area but haven’t lived there in some time so she was a huge help decided where to host welcome/after parties as well as other last minute vendors I needed. She also has immaculate taste in decor/set up & made our venue look stunning. I had full trust in her & it totally paid off because my wedding was truly a dream. Honestly I could write an entire novel in how wonderful PWS is, so basically just hire them you will not be disappointed!!!!

Sierra and PWS are the best ever!! We hired them for month-of coordination of our NC wedding as we planned from afar in FL. Planning was a super lowkey and drama free experience, and our wedding day was seamless. Sierra also handmade the beautiful name cards for our memory table. Margo was the absolute best!! She was an oasis of calm during the whole process of planning and coordinating our wedding. She thoroughly and thoughtfully spent time with us leading up to the big day, checking in and providing valuable resources and insight that made me and my Virgo husband feel like we were in good hands. In the days leading up to the big event, and the day of, she ran the ship like a well-oiled machine, allaying any fears and delegating / coordinating / making things run smoothly. In addition, her husband was super helpful being an extra setup hand and managing sound design (which was an added element considering there was extra music involved). They are both the most wonderful, chill and talented people, and so many friends and family kept coming up and telling us how much they appreciated their presence. We had the most perfect day, which is saying a lot considering how chaos likes to follow us, and it's all thanks to Margo and the Plain With Sprinkles team! Would definitely recommend her and PWS to anyone tying the knot.

Plain with Sprinkles, where do I even begin to praise them. My friend googled lgbtqia+ friendly planners and they came right up. All it took was a single phone call and my partner and I was sold. We had the Honor of working with Erin. Despite the fact they haven’t planned a wedding in my town, I was amazed at how she was able to find vendors with us. She is so wonderful, every interaction we had with her was just like talking to a best friend. She would insist on contacting her if we had any sort of issue with anything. Any tiny bit of worry she was there to ease the anxiety and stress away. I don’t think my wedding would have been as successful as it was if it wasn’t for her. I’m actually a little sad that my wedding is over because we are going to miss her so much.

Sierra was the absolute best! From our planning check in calls to the on-site execution she was a pleasure to work with and was so happy to have her by my (other) side for our special day. 100 would recommend hiring PWS! My wedding planner was Margo and she was PERFECT! As we planned our wedding out-of-state, Erin helped as assemble an amazing team of vendors and figure out what would truly be meaningful and delightful to us. I know several friends who were disappointed working with planners that seemed to push "cookie-cutter" or traditional ideas - I'm so grateful to say Erin will really treat you and your partner like true individuals and help you figure out what YOU want from scratch. We were thrown a number of curveballs in our planning - we rescheduled twice for covid, had a major death in the family, and had to navigate changing offerings from vendors post-covid. Erin was with us through it all, and it felt amazing to have her in our corner to roll with the punches. We also had a number of LGBTQ+ and non-binary folks in our wedding party and as guests - it was an enormous relief to me to know that Erin was there for them too, and supported our loved ones with sensitivity and compassion. Overall, I couldn't recommend Erin more - we had a blast at our wedding, it was uniquely ours, and Erin was a big part of making that happen.

We hired Plain with Sprinkles wedding planning for our wedding this past weekend in Asheville, NC – I (the bride) enjoy planning events and do so often for work and for friends and family. When it came to our big day, I wanted to be the one to come up with the vision, the style, the signage (as I have a custom art/graphic design/lettering business of my own). I was instantly captured by Erin’s branding, overall vibe and inclusiveness. I knew I needed someone to carry the torch the month of, and bring my vision to life as I am usually doing that job for the events I have put together. I knew I couldn’t do the same for our big day. I am quite the Type A when it comes to these things and not everyone has the skills and finesse I was looking for. Erin BEYOND exceeded my expectations. She was always there to answer any questions I needed and provide recommendations. Her use of the workflow tool Aisle Planner and automated messages allowed me to keep tabs on the event deadlines and keep in touch easily. Erin worked with me closely to understand all the nuances of my design vision and provided recommendations and insights when needed. She was on top of everything and made me feel extremely relaxed, knowing that she had the things handled that I may have forgotten after planning a wedding for over a year and moving into a new house just a month and a half prior. Even when weather threw a kink our original ceremony/cocktail plan, Erin was on top of things ahead of time and was ready to shift at a moments notice, creating an equally as beautiful setup as we originally planner overnight. On the big day she wrangled all the vendors (and my wedding party) flawlessly, perfectly executed all of my design ideas and was the driving force behind making our big day run smoothly. Erin’s right hand on our big day, Margot was also a rockstar. Throughout the day she was there for my hubby and I (helping make sure we ate and actually got to enjoy our food & drinks), she put things aside for us and held my bouquet when my arm was going to fall off after what felt like hundreds of photos and used her own creative skills to help Erin execute setup as well! My new husband and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Plain with Sprinkles. If I wasn’t a big planning type of bride and needed someone to do it all, I have no doubt that Erin would also be the perfect person for that as well! We knew we wanted to work with Erin from the second we saw her super fun website & seriously she was even more incredible than we hoped. Erin was super responsive & helpful and went above & beyond throughout the entire process. Even though she was technically hired as a "two months out" planner, she still held our hands throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, I felt so at ease & did not worry about a single thing because I knew I could trust Erin & Sierra who had everything handled. My husband and I got married on November 5th! Erin was our fabulous wedding planner for the year of our wedding/wedding day. And let’s just say, she did not disappoint! Erin truly is the BEST EVER!! Hiring Erin to be our wedding coordinator was easily the best wedding decision we made!!! Being a bride who likes to please everyone, she made it possible for me to truly relax and go into my wedding feeling completely stress free and made it so that I was not worrying about literally one thing on my wedding day. I'm tearing up writing this because Erin was not just a wedding coordinator - she gave me a support system, and always showed compassion in how I was feeling. She is so easy to talk to (like talking to a friend), makes you feel comfortable, and most importantly does everything she can to make sure your wedding is completely you! My husband and I had some traditions we wanted to keep and others we wanted to ditch and she was all about it! Plus provided incredible suggestions and insight for all wedding details. From something as small as the plate color to our seating chart - Erin knows her stuff!! She's organized, professional, an amazing listener and incredibly understanding - she really does just get it. I have a slightly complex family dynamic and she made sure I was feeling good about everything and that I was never taking on anything overwhelming. Leading up to the day she was quick to respond to any of my texts/emails and always had answers for my questions!! On our wedding day - I don't know if I can say enough for how incredible she was. Erin and her assistant Margo were a freaking dream!! They handled everything so smoothly. On top of managing all of the vendors, they were also checking in on me, my husband and the wedding party constantly - getting us drinks before the ceremony, refilling our beers during the reception (and insisting we had a cold beer ;) ), checking in on us about the timeline, if we needed more or less time on something etc. One thing we loved so much about Erin and her team was that even with the timeline she made us - we weren't glued to that specific time but could go with how me and Stephen were feeling in the moment which was AMAZING. Everyone loved Erin and her team - they are still raving about her 5 days later! I feel so lucky and grateful to have had Erin as our wedding coordinator - we could not have enjoyed and soaked in our wedding day as much as we did without her!!! Or had the most smoothly run wedding - everything was perfect!! We love Erin!!!

Hiring Erin as our planner was HANDS DOWN the #1 best decision we made for our wedding. We came to her with a complicated request – a destination wedding that incorporated Indian, Brazilian, and American culture into one event (with very opinionated families!) all within an 8-month timeline in the busiest season for all wedding vendors ever. We knew we needed a planner to help us stay organized and give us the freedom to have fun and not sweat the details on our big day, and while we TOTALLY got that, we got SO MUCH MORE. First, when it comes to logistics, Erin is responsive and makes you feel confident that she’s got you (and she does!). We got the Plain with a Cherry package per her recommendation, and had several meetings throughout the process to check in and get “pep talks” as needed. We had a few last minute needs, and Erin was ALL OVER IT. She had a plan before I could even worry about anything. On the days, she and her team delivered the decor/setup of our dreams, continuously checked in with us and our families, and kept all the vendors updated. Because our wedding was in a remote area, Erin also took responsibility of booking a house just for the vendors to share, which was really helpful to all those traveling from farther away. Now for the real reason we fell in love with Erin. Erin has such wonderful emotional intelligence, and we felt that even in a short time, she really knew us and our needs. There was often so much tension between us and our families about what we were expected to do, and Erin listened, offered incredibly brilliant suggestions that didn’t compromise our values, and gave us total permission and support to say “f*** it” when we really wanted. She was a complete defender of our desires and values the entire time. We knew she had our backs going into the wedding days based on the support she had given us in the process, but we were blown away at how she and her team remembered and protected our wishes on the actual days. Our list of anxieties before the wedding was SO long, and we both feel we had the absolute PERFECT day. There isn’t one thing we would change, and we truly give endless gratitude to Erin for that. You might think that you do not need a wedding planner, but you're wrong. Stop looking now and hire Erin immediately. We worked with Erin for almost two years when planning our wedding and she was amazing from start to finish. She helped us stay on track, introduced us to all of the best vendors, and most importantly, encouraged us to ditch the traditions that we did not love in favor of a day that represented who we were and what we wanted. Seriously, we cannot say enough good things about her.

Erin does not charge enough for what she does. She makes sure EVERYTHING is in line and goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of. Erin was amazing at guiding us through our wedding day but still allowing us to make all of our own choices - there was no pressure to do anything a certain way. If you want your day to be catered to your dream hire Erin. Seriously she will take the stress out of everything!!

We worked with Sierra for our wedding and she was INCREDIBLE. I seriously can't rave enough about how wonderful she is. Through the whole process she kept me sane, gently guided me away from not so great decisions, responded to my emails and texts, met with me and vendors, and coordinated an insane number of logistics day of. She also went above and beyond in so many additional ways, she fixed an error on my menus, conveniently had a cake stand when I forgot one (and didn't even bring it up), always seemed to know when I needed something, and added so many special details to the day that I hadn't even thought of. If you want a true professional who is going to ensure you have YOUR day and not what Pinterest or anyone else thinks your day should look like, PWS and Sierra are the right move. Our day was perfect, and it wouldn't have been without her.

Working with Erin was a dream! I live in OK and had my wedding in NC in May 2021 - I was only able to plan this wedding from 1000 miles away, during a pandemic because of Erin. She knows the best vendors, has great design ideas, knows how to solve any problem you throw at her, and is just a generally calming presence. My wedding turned out exactly the way I wanted it thanks to her. Not to mention, the day of the wedding she made sure every. single. thing. ran smoothly. The best decision I made was hiring Erin as my wedding planner. She and her team are simply the best - worth every penny!!

If you're reading this review, hire PWS!! Erin was by far the best part of our wedding day. She came in a few weeks before the big day, started coordinating with our vendors, and handled everything from the rehearsal to the day of our wedding with grace and charm. We would not have had the perfect day we had without her. Everything from set up to take down was handled, and we just let her do what she does best. We felt like she really cared about us and wanted us to have fun and have a good time. She charmed our families and our friends. I don't think anyone had anything bad to say about our wedding day, and it's largely because of Erin and the work she put in to make it flawless. We cannot thank her enough. Planning a wedding is stressful, and planning two weddings after you have to change the first one is beyond stressful. Sierra was the absolute BEST throughout the whole process. She was patient, she gave great advice, and we always looked forward to talking to her. She kept me calm because she was on top of everything and she was so organized during planning and the day of the wedding. She literally helped make our dream wedding come true! We cannot thank her or recommend her enough!

All I can say is WOW! My husband and I were blown away by the level of commitment and attention to detail that Sierra provided. We had to reschedule and rework our entire wedding multiple times due to COVID and she didn’t falter. I didn’t really think we needed a planner...thank god my venue required one. I had no idea how much I would end up needing one. She went above and beyond to make herself available, to provide emotional support, to help with design and flow of the event, to handle vendors, etc. When the day finally came, it was truly magical. I remember several times looking over and seeing her at the edge of the crowd at full alert, scanning the entire event to make sure all was going smoothly. Weddings are intense-there is a lot of emotion, all your favorite people from different parts of your life co-mingling, and all of the ‘things that need to go right’. Her presence and focus allowed us to relax, enjoy and soak up our wedding without worry. Our wedding went off without a snag and I can’t recommend ‘Plain With Sprinkles’ enough!

Selecting the right planner for your special day can be super challenging. It is so important to ensure that the person you select understands your vision, and your personalities are aligned so that everything through the planning process/wedding day can go as smooth as possible. I probably talked to 20 different planners before I was connected with Sierra, and right from our first conversation I knew she was it! I can not say enough about how truly amazing Sierra was and what a key player she was for our entire wedding. Sierra is a very "calm" and soft spoken planner, but don't let that fool you because she is always one step ahead and on top of everything! She seriously did not miss a beat. I honestly did not want a wedding planner, or was planning on having one, until our venue told us that it was required. Now, being on the other side, I could not have imagined the day with out her. From coordination, attention to detail, scheduling, handling our crazy crew, working with the vendor team - she executed everything perfectly. I am so thankful for the experience in working with Plan with Sprinkles and would 100% recommend to any couple!

We planned what would have been (and hopefully will be in 2021) an amazing wedding weekend last May. When we had to make the decision to cancel because of COVID-19, PWS was so amazing and such a solid support system. Erin jumped on everything so quickly that we were able to re-book all of our vendors for May 2021. If that wasn't enough work, my husband and I decided to also keep our wedding date and venue to elope and Erin helped us every step of the way. She made the process fun and stress-free, despite our disappointment at having to reschedule our original celebration with family and friends. She was also able to get the flowers, photography, and catering teams to do a small elopement for two. PWS is super great at helping couples create fun celebrations that are tailored to them. They also have great relationships with awesome vendors in the area and are willing to work with new vendors as well. The best part about working with this team is that they are open to everyone, and they take what is important to the couple seriously. Erin helped me connect with a team of vendors who were women-owned businesses and support the LGBTQ community which was extremely important to me and my husband. Basically, I can't say enough positive things about Erin and PWS!!

We found Erin (Plain with Sprinkles) when we were originally planning to have our wedding in/around Asheville. She was super friendly from the get-go and even met to have coffee with us to help us learn more about her services. We ended up getting married around Boone instead, and Erin was open to travel. The checklist and timeline Erin created on Aisle Planner were super helpful to make sure we were staying on track and getting everything done. Erin always supported us in our non-traditional desires for our wedding - she always encouraged us that we were making the right decision for us, regardless of what our friends or family might have to say. We appreciated her recommendations for vendors and even more so because she vets all of her vendors to ensure they are LGBTQ+ friendly. Erin was also very mindful of our budget and helped us stick to it. On the day of our wedding we met Erin's assistant, Sierra, who was also super awesome in making our big day perfect. We would highly recommend Plain with Sprinkles to anyone considering getting a planner for their wedding (and we definitely recommend getting a planner)!

Erin was so helpful from start to finish. We were a COVID couple and had to cancel our initial large wedding that Erin and PWS helped us plan. We pivoted and eloped instead-Erin was there every step of the way. The amount of calm and space she was able to give us on our wedding day was much appreciated. Everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend Erin and her team for any size wedding.

We were sure at first we did not need a planner but when we found PWS we instantly connected, and knew no matter how much we thought we could do this on our own, we needed them! OH MY GOSH Sierra was a GODSEND for our wedding. Being in the wedding industry, I told myself I didn't really need a planner. Holy cow was I wrong and I feel so grateful and fortunate to have had Sierra supporting us in the lead up and day of. Not having to double check and confirm things with vendors? Not worrying about the timeline? Knowing someone else was managing all aspects and I just had to enjoy the day? It was unbelievable how much weight it took off my shoulders - weight I didn't even realize was there until it was gone. PHEW. I would hire Sierra again in a heartbeat.

I think I could write a million words about how CRUCIAL (and amazing) Erin and PWS was to the planning and outcome of my wedding. The joy of an engagement can quickly be buried under the pressures of planning a wedding, and I, more than once, wished we’d just elope. But my partner and I chose to bring our families together on this day and the pressure of it all was crushing me. It wasn’t until I brought in Plain with Sprinkles that I felt a weight lift off my shoulders and found any semblance of joy in the planning process. I am what some might call a “control freak.” But Erin worked with me – joining in on all my shared spreadsheets even though she has a wonderful and professional system of her own. Not only did she KNOW my vision for my gloomy, moody winter wedding, but she took the time to understand the things that were most important to me so that they received the care, attention, and energy I needed them to so I could “let it go.” She also helped me navigate through a lot of the traditional aspects of wedding planning that I chose to keep, or more often than not, chose to disregard (which she reassured me would not be the end of the world). THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER’S WEDDING – I was constantly reminded by Erin to have MY wedding to celebrate the love and respect between me and my partner. Erin does not come alone. She has pack of equally talented, professional, respectful, down-to-earth, people-loving, love-loving vendors in her network that she pulled in to make my vision a reality. I can’t say more about her character and of those she brings in to work with you. No one blows smoke up your ass; no one is out to rob you blind; no one is there to judge you or the wedding choices that you and your partner make. Nothing is more evident than their commitment to celebrating love in the unique forms that love comes in. For me this was a moody, gloomy, elegant, winter wedding (with a Game of Thrones nod) that I wanted to drip with romance, passion, and intimacy. I wanted our family and friends to see the love my partner and I had for each other because truthfully, we’re pretty private people. Less talky, more showy is how I needed it to be and Erin pulled it all together. With no fewer than ten vendors to juggle, Erin and her team at Plain with Sprinkles pulled off the wedding I couldn’t have dreamed of. [Not to mention, for half the budget other coordinators told me I’d need to host a wedding at our venue.] So lastly, if you don’t know if you want/need a coordinator – get one. Particularly Erin. PWS has packages for all budgets and needs, and I promise you, your sanity, your spouse, and your close relationships will be better for it. Enjoy getting married. And enjoy meeting these amazing humans who will feel like family by the end.

Do yourself a favor, book Plain With Sprinkles right now before you book anything else or make any other plans. We were debating whether we could afford day-of coordination with a tight budget but by the end of it all we realized we couldn't afford NOT to have Erin in our corner. Seriously - her advice, connections, planning tools & resources, the fact that she was willing and able to meet with vendors when we couldn't, and the level of emotional support she provided at the end when it started to get intense - PRICELESS. As a lesbian couple planning a wedding in North Carolina while based in L.A. we were admittedly a little apprehensive about running into vendors who might not appreciate or recognize our relationship. I called Erin because she has "Love is Love." front-and-center on her website and she MEANS it. Erin is a FIERCE LGBTQ+ ally in the BEST way - she makes a point of vetting every vendor she recommends and even went so far as to proactively email all her couples notifying us about a vendor in the area who she found out wasn't gay-friendly and apologizing profusely (which she totally did not have to do - we hadn't even contacted them). She made us SO comfortable from the first second and had our back 100% every step of the way. I had planned a tethered hot air balloon as a surprise for my wife right after we said our "I Do's" - there were so many times the whole thing could have fallen apart for so many different reasons from nine months out to minutes out and Erin kept it all together and we pulled it off! It was the most spectacular moment and memory and I would could not have done it without her. Our wedding was more wonderful than we dreamed and we couldn't have done it without Erin & Sierra. Trust us, you want PWS in your corner!!

We hired Erin for her full planning services and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.  As a military couple, both my husband and I did two deployments for the year leading up to our wedding and we were both living overseas throughout the planning process.  Erin was super flexible with video chats and emails for meetings.  We would never have been able to have such a wonderful day without her guidance and involvement.  She was extremely dependable and responsive to our vibe and needs.  Having her involved allowed us to sit back and enjoy our special time together.  1000x recommend!

To put it simply, ERIN IS THE BEST EVER! We hired her because we didn’t know anything about weddings, from finding a venue and asking wedding questions to decor selection to tipping the vendors and everything in between. She took away any concerns that came up immediately and was very professional through the whole process. She’s worked with a lot of the vendors in the area so has a great relationship with them to begin with. She was very conscious of our budget and was not pushy on anything. Erin is absolutely AMAZING! She made the day perfect by checking on me multiple times and really taking the time to listen to my needs. She is so sweet and very passionate about what she does. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator!!

We are so happy we picked Erin from Plain with Sprinkles. She was simply amazing. She made sure our wedding day was the best day of our lives. She was professional, easy to work with, great with our our guests and any requests we had she made a reality. I cannot recommend her enough! Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding.

We had our wedding in Asheville, but live in Chattanooga. We only went to Asheville 3 times whiles planning our wedding. The first visit was meeting Erin, and we feel head over heels in love. We had no idea where to start. She helped focus and calm us so planning our wedding didn’t feel so overwhelming. A few key moments that makes Erin stand out from the rest: (1) My dress literally BROKE! during photography. It was a little spaghetti strap, and she had thread and needle and sewed it back on. Life savor. (2) I’m an engineer w/ no eye for design. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but no clue on how to make it come to life. Erin supplied extra décor including candles and even the way she set up the tables was just perfect. (3) By the end of the planning, we done. Just want to get married and go on our honeymoon to Belize. There were still little decisions that had to be made, and I couldn’t take it any longer. Luckily by that stage, Erin knew my style and was able to make these little decisions for me (like fonts for the seat assignments. “I don’t know! Legible?” was my response.) There is no way I could’ve survived planning a wedding in a different state without her. I will be forever grateful.

Erin and Sierra are AMAZING! And also super cool, like I want to hang out with them just because. Leading up to the wedding, Erin was on the ball, available to chat, checked in on how I was feeling, and had great ideas/recommendations. On the wedding day, these two ladies went above and beyond, from running out and getting a guestbook that I forgot to purchase, giving me deodorant after getting my groove on on the dance floor, working things out with the band, to dropping off my bouquet as well as food & cake (that we didn't get a chance to eat) to our hotel room --- I can't thank them enough. I had the BEST time at my wedding and I owe my stress-free day to them!

Erin was amazing throughout the planning process! She has a wonderful calming effect on everyone around her. She excels at organization and that was very apparent the day of the wedding..... all the worry about the details and something being forgotten was unnecessary. She was like our fairy Godmother :-)

I will not be fortunate enough to work with this company for my wedding, BUT I am still leaving 5 stars. I inquired about a day-of coordinator for my upcoming wedding in November; unfortunately they are booked up for this year (I was not surprised). Sierra emailed me back to inform me they were booked, and then went above and beyond and recommended other planners/coordinators and a Facebook group that may be able to help. That type of service has not happened with the other companies I have reached out to, and for that, I am so grateful. To those who are lucky enough to have these lovely ladies to work with, I am sure you are getting the best of the best.

I never write reviews, but... our wedding meant a great deal to us and we had to plan it from afar, so we knew whomever we hired to coordinate it would have to be excellent. But then a perfect storm of work/moving/family emergency hit us. We worried that our wedding would not be the exceptional experience that our Type A personalities hoped for. But Erin and her team stepped up an exceeded our expectations. Erin's combination of organization + taste level + dedication is a rare find. Plus she is a joy to be around. We cannot recommend PWS enough.
