We had our wedding at the South Shore Cultural Center in Chicago, and Haley was truly the heartbeat of the day. From our very first meeting, she impressed us with her incredible organization, attention to detail, and genuine care for us as a couple.

We hired Amy and her team for day of planning only. After our first planning meeting, it was clear we needed her for much much more. My husband and I recently got married on November 2nd, 2024. When we started planning, both of us had no idea what details we were missing. We underestimated how much went into planning a wedding. Our venue suggested getting a day of coordinator to help us get everything together. After doing some digging and googling, we found Plan + Gather. The first call instantly put us at ease as they were understanding and helped talk us through the process. We were sold. About a month before the wedding, Mia reached out to us and started help plan our special day. Mia provided us with a list of things to think through, which ended up being very helpful because many of them we had not thought about. Her communication was clear, friendly, and we trusted her completely. Mia was a rockstar and coordinated with all our vendors and helped schedule our final walkthrough with everyone at the venue. For the rehearsal at the church, Amy was there to help make sure that our wedding party had a breakdown of the day. They had a full detailed timeline for us which was extremely helpful! We received compliments from our bridal party on the usefulness of the document. On the day of our wedding, we felt at ease knowing we had Mia and Amy there to help with everything. We had so many personal touches to our decor at our venue, and Amy did such a fantastic job! Both Mia and Amy did an incredible job of setting the venue up exactly the way my husband and I imagined. I could not recommend Plan + Gather enough. If you are planning your wedding and looking for some help with coordination we cannot recommend them enough. We are beyond grateful for them!
Haley and Amy from Plan & Gather were the rockstars of our wedding. From running the rehearsal, to managing a backup alcohol order when we realized we were way under-ordered, to even pinning the boutonnieres on the groomsmen, they made sure everything was perfect. We can’t thank them enough for their tireless work and dedication. Their effective communication, positive presence, and overall calming energy were extremely helpful to all. These two are a powerhouse duo and so incredibly organized. I felt like Haley knew all of my wants and needs because she was so organized with all of her spreadsheets that were heavily detailed. Amy was super helpful with transitioning people, bringing our families drinks during dinner at the reception, and giving advice during photos. Overall, we could not have asked for a better team. Having Amy as our wedding coordinator made the last few weeks and day of just seamless and absolutely amazing. I had no worries the day of and trusted Amy based on all of her support and collaboration prior to the wedding. I felt like I did not just have a wedding coordinator, I also had a friend, counselor, advocate, and leader. I felt so comfortable going to her for anything and knew I had the support I needed. Her insight and guidance goes such a long way and helps organize your big day the way YOU want it. I felt heard, seen, and understood. We had the pleasure of working with Amy from P&G to help us with coordinating our wedding but she provided so much more than that! They had all sorts of great literature to share with us on things to focus on and when while we were going through the wedding planning process. Plan and Gather has curated a list of vendors that they know, have worked with, and most importantly trust when it comes down to start deciding which vendors to reach out to. For planning an extremely overwhelming event, P&G makes it easy on their clients by providing very helpful guidance. When it came down to the final month or so before the wedding, Amy was all over our vendors as well as the event coordinator at our event space. Once we got down to the final couple of weeks is where I really saw the value of utilizing P&G. The follow ups with all of the vendors, the help putting our timeline for our wedding day together, just having a person for all of our vendors to call and talk to on the day of our wedding was all so extremely nice so that we were able to enjoy our big day. We would 100% recommend Plan & Gather to anyone looking to help reduce the stress that comes with planning and having a wedding.
I hired P&G for day of coordinator services for our wedding in February 2024 in Chicago. Amy and her assistant Lina were incredible. Amy provides these services starting about 10 weeks out and she was super attentive and responsive and took all the stress out of vendor coordination for me. I am a type A kinda of gal, but after our first meeting with Amy, I knew I could trust her to take the lead and leave me out of the middle man mess that planning can become. She did incredible contacting the vendors we had booked on our own to ensure everyone was ready for wedding day. Amy's energy and leadership is topnotch. P&G pricing is the best out there and worth EVERY penny and more!
We worked with Haley as our day-of coordinator and we could not have asked for a better match! Haley was incredibly organized and on top of every single detail before our wedding and the day of. We had Mia as a second in command the day of as well and both she and Haley made sure everything was beautiful, organized, and just the way we wanted it. We loved coming up the aisle after the ceremony and seeing Haley holding our nephew, and Mia on the floor coloring with our niece - they really handled everything and everyone. We are so grateful to them!
We planned the wedding in 5 months. One of our best decisions was hiring Plan and Gather for the Wedding Day. We connected with Haley immediately. She is professional and has a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of wedding planning. She listens well and made suggestions based on our vision and our budget. She responded to all questions on a timely basis. She is extremely organized and developed a day of timeline that included all the details we wanted. She set up the wedding decor beautifully and carefully packed it all up at the end of the night. She connected with all of the vendors and managed all of the day of deliveries. We worked with Mia for our day of coordinating and she exceeded our expectations! We had a few hiccups and she never got frazzled. She has a great demeanor and generally was just a pleasure to work with. One of our first comments after the wedding was "thank GOD we had our coordinator!". We had the pleasure of working with Mia as our day of coordinator - but she was SO much more than that! We started working together 6 weeks out and she was so helpful & organized. Worked with Mia and Amy as our day-of wedding coordinators. Everything went off without a hitch, and they were incredibly organized. They kept our wedding party on track with the timeline, kept up with vendors that were not super responsive, were incredibly accommodating and overall the best group to work with. Haley with Plan & Gather was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. From the start she jumped right in and helped keep us on track the whole way through. We hired Plan & Gather for month of coordination, but Haley still set up bi-monthly touch bases months in advance. She was extremely organized and super communicative anytime we had any questions. Our wedding day went super smoothly thanks to all the great planning and attention to detail. Mia was a extremely professional and a huge help every step of the way during our wedding journey! She jumped in and coordinated calls with key vendors, met with our venue staff in person, and added an extra layer of organization throughout the process. She provided schedules, took care of unforeseen issues both large and small, and really made both the lead up and wedding day much less stressful that they could have been. We highly recommend Mia and Plan and Gather as a company!
Haley was our incredible day-of coordinator for our Chicago wedding and we cannot recommend her and the Plan + Gather team enough! Haley jumped in to planning about three months before our wedding—she was so organized, responsive, smart, and caring. She thought of every little detail and answered my constant questions with so much patience. On the day of our wedding, Haley kept everyone on time and ensured every single detail was perfect. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, we had absolutely no idea because Haley handled it so efficiently and calmly. We cannot say enough about Plan and Gather Events, and specifically Haley, our personal planner. We are doers by nature and thought we could handle it all, but without Haley, our day would not have run as smoothly. She was the thread that kept it all together. Choosing Plan & Gather was one of the best choices we made during our wedding planning process. We had most of our vendors selected already for our April 2023 wedding when we started looking for a day-of/month-of coordinator. Haley started meeting with us weeks before the wedding and helped walk us through all of the details and kept us on track. We ended up having major issues & disappointment with our venue’s staff, but Haley went above and beyond to help minimize the stress that fell on us. We had an amazing wedding, and heard many comments about how great and organized Haley was. On top of keeping the timeline on track and taking care of all of the details on the wedding day, she also quickly stepped in to coordinate on a few occasions when our venue was not necessarily ready on their end. I really think that Haley/Plan & Gather is the main reason our wedding day went as well as it did. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to work with Haley on our wedding day and highly recommend to future brides & grooms!

Amy is the reason our wedding was absolutely perfect. Not only did she make it so seamless and enjoyable for us- allowing us to stay calm, carefree, and present on our day, but for our other vendors too. Amy and Plan & Gather Events was the absolute BEST decision we made for our wedding. I was hesitant to hire a planner/coordinator at first due to being very type A and budget reasons, but as I started planning I realized how much there would be to do on the day of and weeks leading up. I decided to meet with Amy and was sold within the first 2 minutes of speaking with her. She made me feel so much more calm and supported, and I immediately felt the weight lift off my shoulders. We ended up hiring Amy for "day of" coordination, which included 8-weeks out as well. Aside from this, Amy was more than happy to answer any questions along the way and give vendor recommendations. Amy was extremely responsive and made sure every detail was covered. As a first-time bride, there were many things I didn't even think about and I had a million questions about the timeline and process. Amy took control of things I needed her to, but still let me plan my day the way I wanted. It was so nice feeling like I always had someone in my corner, especially when it came to dealing with vendors. I even had a vendor back out last minute and Amy found a replacement immediately. I didn't even know there was an issue until the replacement was settled! On the day of, I didn't have to worry about a single thing and was truly able to enjoy every second. I had a vision for my day, and Amy made sure that vision came to life. I could not recommend Plan and Gather Events enough. If you do anything for your wedding... HIRE THEM!!!
We would hire Haley and Plan and Gather a million times over. We knew from the moment we talked to Haley on the phone that we wanted to hire her as our Day of Coordinator. She listened to where we were with our wedding planning and validated all of the work that we had already done for the big day. I'm very type A and had a specific vision for the day. With Haley, I was never nervous handing over the reins. Every time we met with her, including the first call before she was even hired, she took notes and shared them with us to ensure we were on the same page. As the day got closer, we loved that we had a third party to bounce last minute ideas off of and ask any random questions that came up. And we loved that she met with each of the vendors individually before hand so that when our wedding day came around, she was able to take over and we could step back and enjoy the day as bride and groom. We did not have to worry about a single thing. Haley was a dream come true.
We cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Haley and the Plan and Gather Events team. From the very beginning, Haley was super communicative, organized, and supportive of our wedding planning process. Quick to reply to emails and calls. Very knowledgeable about the wedding planning process, always thinking ahead, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with every single aspect for our special day. Extremely proactive when it came to working with our vendors and the venue, as well as present for our walkthrough and rehearsal. Haley supported with putting out our DIY decor, dessert table, and late night eats and really brought our vision to life. We truly wouldn't have had such a PERFECT day without all her support. I being the control freak that I am struggled getting a planner. I wanted it mostly for the day of coordination stuff and thought I would be able to handle everything else but man oh man was I wrong. With the package I got, Amy did much more than just the day of coordination. She handled things that I wouldn't have even thought of. She was organized, replied in a timely manner, and was able to help turn my dream wedding into a reality. I am so incredibly happy I chose to hire her for our wedding because not only would I have been a mess the day of trying to coordinate everything with vendors and whatnot, but everything else from helping me choose linen colors to telling me that I didn't need this but I did need this was beyond helpful. Hire her! You will not regret it!
Haley was extremely professional and AMAZING to work with - for the few months leading up to the wedding, she ensured all of the "big" to-do items were organized, initiated phone calls to answer any questions we may have add and to ensure we were on time with our checklist, provided helpful tips, created a detailed timeline for the day of, and coordinated with the other vendors to confirm we were all in agreement with the timeline and expectations for the day of (plus much more!). Then, the few weeks leading up to the wedding, Haley fine-tuned ALL of the details and managed all of the specific needs of the other vendors. More importantly, Haley made the day of extremely organized (multiple guests approached my parents and complimented how organized and structured the wedding was) and stress-free for our large, 270-guest wedding. I can confidently say that our wedding would not have been as great as it was without Haley - 10/10 recommend Haley & Plant and Gather Events!

Simply put, I do not know what I would have done without Haley from Plan and Gather Events!! Leading up to our day and the day of, she was incredibly organized, communicative, and SO professional. My other vendors had only amazing things to say about Haley and they specifically pointed out her kindness (!!!!), which was always such a breath of fresh air during stressful planning times. I couldn’t even tell if you something went wrong the day of our wedding because Haley definitely just took care of it. I can’t recommend Plan and Gather Events enough, and if you’re on the fence about getting a planner, I would recommend this company 12/10 times!!
Initially I had thought I would be ok working without a planner but as the date got closer and closer I realized there were so many little things to keep track of. After interviewing a few planners I chose to put my faith in Amy as she seemed relaxed, fun, and new our venue well. My co-planner (my father) and I were so happy with our decision. The weeks leading up to my wedding Amy acted as my sounding board and therapist depending on the size of the fire we had to put out. She helped me add personal touches to our venue from favors to hanging a neon sign. She also acted as the go between organizing and a detailed timeline of the entire night and coordinating with all of our vendors. Day of she was everywhere but also never in the way. Our dessert table looked amazing and everything was set up just as I imagined. In the end I am so thankful to have found Amy and entrusted her with all the details of our big day. You will not be disappointed!
Haley and Amy were a breeze to work with. We had started correspondence beginning of 2020, talking about how we wanted things to go day of - then COVID hit and paused the timeline. Thankfully Amy & Haley kept all my details on file and kept checking in to see if I needed help planning a wedding 2.0 alternative.
Luckily we were able to have the reception and Haley was amazing at coordinating the weeks leading up to the event. I didn't have to worry about a SINGLE detail on the day-of. She took the reigns weeks ahead of the day to make vendors knew she was the point person, and how the day was going to flow. From setup to tear down Haley was THE BEST. I could not have had such an easy, carefree day without her.
We hired Plan & Gather for month-of coordination for our October 2nd wedding, and we could not be more thrilled in our decision. From the day we began working with Amy, we knew we were in great hands and could stop worrying about every detail of our big day! (yay to sleeping without wedding nightmares anymore) Echoing other reviews, we really feel like Amy allowed us to enjoy the weeks leading into our wedding instead of stressing about the little things. My husband and I could not recommend Amy from Plan & Gather Events enough!! We would give her ten stars if possible. She was energetic, organized, and friendly from the moment we had our first phone call. We bought the month-of coordination package and I HIGHLY recommend any bride and groom to do this: it will be the best money you spend! Amy was in constant communication with us and our vendors and put our minds at ease in moments of stress. She allowed us to fully enjoy the weeks and days leading up to our wedding without having to worry about the small details. She even will come run your rehearsal! She went above and beyond for us: she was there early at the rehearsal and wedding day helping set up, direct people, problem solve, you name it! When the wind was knocking over the centerpieces, she immediately found a solution. When it started to rain right before I walked down the aisle, she put us in her car to keep us dry. She made sure we were relaxed & happy throughout the day. She was like the energizer bunny-- even though our venue was physically challenging, she did it all with a smile and can-do attitude. Amy & Haley were both so great to work with. We hired Plan + Gather for month-of and day-of coordinating after two of my friends used them for their weddings. Haley was our planner & I honestly don’t know what we would have done with out her!
Leading up to the day, Haley seamlessly coordinated all of our vendors & their timelines/needs, while guiding me along the way when I needed her help or opinion (and I definitely had a lot of questions!) She kept everything on track & was the “calm to the storm” when we needed to make last minute changes to our original plan, along with a back-up plan because weather wasn’t looking too good for the wedding day. She totally understood me & knew what I needed in place in order to relax the last few days leading up to the wedding.
On the day of, Haley was the driving force in making sure our vision came to life. It rained all day leading up to the ceremony & if Haley had not been at the venue overseeing everything, I know I would have been worrying about how things were going. Again, our calm to the storm.
I am so, so happy we used Plan + Gather & would recommend them to any future bride. Both Amy & Haley are such wonderful people and an absolute joy to work with. As a detail-oriented bride with a pretty specific vision, trust me - you NEED a coordinator. For a while I thought I could do it by myself & looking back on it, that last month would have been so stressful & I know our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same. So… get yourself a coordinator, but more specifically, get yourself a Haley & Amy :)
Amy was amazing. An efficient tempest who corralled and managed all with grace and calm. She provides wonderful checklists and constructs manageable timelines. She has great ideas about how to deal with vendors, etc. She was flexible - no job that we asked her to do was out of reach. Really thankful to have had her in my court, especially on weekend of wedding. Gave me peace of mind to be able to sit back and enjoy the moments.
Amy was SO great to work with. There are so many last minute details one month out and Amy made sure everything was in order and exactly how we wanted things. Amy told me from the start she wanted us to ENJOY our wedding week....and we most definitely did thanks to all of her organization and communication! Amy was an incredible help on the day of our wedding and the days/weeks leading up to the big day. There is so much that goes into these types of events that can be over looked and having Amy in our corner really helped us out in remembering those things. Her recommendations were nothing short of amazing. The most amazing apart about Amy's business is that during the event, you don't want to be bothered by the little things. Amy takes care of all of those little things for you. Which allowed us to have the best day ever not worrying about those little things.
Plan & Gather (And most importantly AMY!) was so great throughout the whole planning process. I was quite the type A bride, and half way into my planning I decided I needed someone to help with day of coordination. Amy went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and take some of the weight off my shoulders. Not only is she extremely organized, she was always very responsive. I never had to wait for a response to a question. She contacted all of my vendors prior to the big day and joined calls ahead of time. I also really liked the fact she let me customize what I needed help with on my big day, compared to many people with a standard package. I cannot say enough good things about Amy's help.
Plan and Gather and Amy were very helpful in having my fiance plan my engagement. I am hard to please and he was not going to ask me for my input, much to my dismay. I heard about all the planning after the fact, but it appeared that Amy worked with him providing options and helping him rein in his ideas.
The fact that I was impressed and elated with the outcome is a huge testament to Plan and Gather's abilities. I even hired Amy to help style my birthday later that year.
Amy was an unbelievable gem during the months of planning & the day of the my son & daughter-in-laws wedding! She was punctual, positive, professional & truly made the weekend of the wedding effortless & truly enjoyable! She went the extra mile gathering items that had been forgotten (the brides veil) and was at each venue prior to any of the wedding party confirming all was completed as planned!
