Plan to be Wowed

We booked Chrissy and team for our wedding which took place in February 2021, in the midst of the Covid scare. My wife found her after reading some good reviews and thankfully she had a 1 month package that we were interested in. To be honest, as we discovered later, 1 month can be pretty nerve-wracking, especially with the uncertainties surrounding Covid protocols. Chrissy made this process easy for us. We're working professionals and are occupied with 9-to-5 (and even beyond at times) jobs during the week, which leaves us room to plan only on weekends. Chrissy held weekend meetings for us to make sure we were up to speed with the planning. She was also always available any other day of the week, any time too for any help we needed. Can't describe how much of a relief it was for us to know that we had someone keeping tab on the checklists for us. From finding potential vendors, to speaking to them, to keeping all of them on the same page- Chrissy completed all these tasks with great elan. It was supposed to rain on our wedding day (thankfully it rained only after ceremony & lunch), but Chrissy had personally bought rain tarp beforehand, to protect all our rental furniture etc. This was very thoughtful of her & showed good pre-planning. As groom and bride, we could not see what all arrangements Chrissy did behind the scenes, but we did hear from guests and other vendors about the kind of hardwork Chrissy put in to make our day memorable for us. I would like to point out that our venue was not a regular one; owing to Covid we booked an Airbnb, which was unconventional and it takes some more effort to make it look like a wedding venue. Chrissy's inputs, suggestions & eye for detail made it look like a wedding venue in the end. I can't end this without mentioning Chrissy's partner Chris who was present with her throughout the day for all arrangements. We're glad we chose Chrissy for our big day. We had small, simple wedding due to the times we were in - but it came out better than we expected because of 'Plan to be Wowed' 's efforts.

Chrissy was amazing! She made everything so clear and was so well organized it felt easy. With so much happening that day, to have someone take all the "thinking" out of it for us was great. A true professional who clearly knows what she is doing. I couldn't recommend Plan to be Wowed more.

Chrissy was absolutely wonderful to work with! As an event planner myself, it’s really hard for me to let go of an event to someone else, so choosing the right wedding planner was a big decision. Chrissy was 1000% the right choice. She was incredibly organized throughout the process and was able to suggest solutions and review our contracts for anything we might have missed. Chrissy is extremely professional and organized and her timelines and checklists were extremely helpful to keep us on track. Chrissy kept me calm throughout the process and was always there to listen and provide solutions like when our linens were not available at the last minute or plans needed to be adapted for weather. She was always available to answer random questions at all hours of the day. I trust her with my life, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Her patience and smile always put me at ease, and I have to be honest I miss her now that the wedding is over. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way thanks to Chrissy! I felt like I was in a fairytale, and she made it all come together. I will absolutely recommend her to anyone I know that gets engaged!

Chrissy is absolutely amazing. With a few months away, my (now husband!) and I finally decided to cave in and get a planner for our October 5th wedding. I was in complete denial that I needed help- we didn't want to have a big extravagant wedding so we made the assumption that planning would be easy and laid back. I was totally wrong. The amount of coordination in the last couple months was way more than I expected, and Chrissy was a LIFESAVER. Both Travis and I have hectic work schedules, so we were already limited on time that we could dedicate to wedding planning. Honestly, even if I had all the free time in the world, I would have still made the decision to work with Chrissy. Chrissy immediately put us at ease, understood our vision, and helped support us in every step of the way, including big tasks and tiny details. She was patient, super quick to respond, and genuinely cared about everything. It didn't feel like we were just another client, I honestly felt like she was totally focused on us, even though I knew she was getting so busy with wedding season. Even small details, like responding to my random texts at strange hours (like asking her if she thought I should get a spray tan, or just was excited to text her pictures of our wedding favors)...she was always available and our champions. I thought I would be relieved to be done with it all... but honestly having Chrissy's support made the wedding SO FUN and stress free, and I wish I could do it over and over again. Wow. Chrissy was an absolute lifesaver. With two months to go before the wedding, we thought that we could maybe do it without planner but as we started to get more stressed we realized that we needed someone to come in and save us. Chrissy listened our vision and then made our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. We had the best time and she really made all of our dreams come to life. Honestly, she made the entire process so pleasant that if I could get married again next weekend, I would. Thank you so much Chrissy! We loved that you were a part of our special weekend!
