Giuseppe was so kind and professional. We hired planet dj for our backyard wedding and had music from before our ceremony until the end of our reception. He was helpful in curating our wedding playlist and receptive to last minute updates we requested. He and the mc helped keep our wedding energetic with great music and got everyone dancing at one point or another.

Hired Planet DJ’s for my November 2023 wedding and my husband and I came out of it not happy. Planet DJ’s was referred from a family friend who has been at many weddings they DJ’d at. We started running into issues the few weeks leading up to the wedding. Agostino was our DJ and we gave him a list of 50 songs to play throughout the night and he made me feel like that was too many. We realized 50 was too many for him because he wanted to play the songs HE wanted to play. He didn’t care about our timeline at all and throughout our wedding, he steered away from the timeline and my wedding planner had to tell him multiple times to stay on track. He didn’t want to play any of the songs we gave him and then had an attitude the rest of the night when my wedding planner told him to play the list of songs we had. He would play the explicit version of songs we didn’t request and he took requests from guest after we discussed with him we did not want him to play requests. He had an attitude with my sister after she asked him why he cut a specific song. A song I told him to let play through. At that time in the night, we decided we couldn’t argue with him and just wanted to enjoy our wedding. We wish we had a better experience.

My vendor's preferred DJ was Planet DJ. They do my Vendors annual NYE party every year. My DJ was over the top amazing. Everyone was up dancing and having an amazing time. Communication was great all the way through planning. I would hire planet DJ for future events!!

I was really surprised at how mixed my review was after our wedding. These guys were highly rated and I had a really good feeling. It went from great rapport when I booked with them early 2020 to feeling like they didn’t know us at all and tried to ask for more money out of us a week before the wedding, when rescheduling was done over a year before the new date. At our final appointment Augie had opportunities to do add ons and provide A/V that my fiancé would pay for but he had zero interest and told us to ask our photographer. So we dropped $1500 on a short throw projector and screen for a 3 minute video… of which the groom had to setup during cocktail hour. All purchased a week before our wedding. We felt that our final appointment was rushed and that we didn’t get the input we needed to be prepared for our wedding. This was clearly not the right vendor for us. We were notified at 11am on the day of our wedding that they had issues getting our music from the cloud. The groom was 30 mins late to his photos at venue because of having to prepare a thumb drive. They were listening and working with our music entirely last minute. All of this could have been smooth had they not suggested over a year ago to use Spotify instead of providing a thumb drive. If you have specific music taste, you’ll need to provide everything. And when they say they have all the 80s, they don’t have it all. I will say on a positive note, the MC was helpful in trying to make sure we did everything we wanted to do in our programming since our venue left it up in the air and we weren’t sure (or prepared what to do). Our officiant had other ideas about our ceremony and the Planet Dj team said they have our back and will cue the music once we turned around... however the recession music was delayed and we started walking down isle to nothing since they stopped paying attention. They also cut the recession music before all the guests had exited the room. It was poorly done. For the reception, we had provided over 4hrs of music and somehow they played two songs in full twice at the reception. We wanted a lot of variety played and that we didn’t want every song played through start to finish… which happened a lot and it was all far too loud as many guests complained (young & old). They played a lot of stuff at dinner time that we didn’t ask for. When we cut the cake, there was mentions about baby boys and baby girls. We don’t plan on having kids and that was REALLY awkward and tone deaf. Overall it was passable with reservations. I can’t say we were on the same page and we didn’t get the planning guidance or suggestions we needed at our meeting. Too much stress and last minute issues. I am thankful for the day-of team attempting to help us navigate our day.. though the completed service fell short of our expectations.

Augie and the team truly helped make our day magical! Every interaction we had with him from 2 years before our big day (COVID couple) to it finally arriving was wonderful! He was quickly responded to every question that we had and helped to plan the entertainment piece exactly as we had imagined it. The beauty of going with a tried and true professional is that they make the whole process seamless and effortless! We had a few requests for songs, but left the rest up to him and the team. All of our guests were dancing the entire night and have not stopped complimenting the entertainment since our big day in July of 2021. A number of our guests even went up to the team to compliment them during the reception and get their contact information for their future events. The music during our cocktail hour and reception was flawless! The light display and photo booth were top quality! The drummer was phenomenal and a huge hit! They did an amazing job reading the crowd and provided music that fit so many different genres which we loved and really helped keep the party moving. We loved that Augie was even able to provide Italian music which helped bring our Italian wedding to life and make our family members feel even more at home. We couldn't recommend Planet DJs and Augie enough!

Five stars just isn’t good enough! They were absolutely AMAZING! They kept my whole wedding dancing and up on their feet, I received multiple comments about how great my wedding was because of my DJ! I highly recommend using them!! Don’t think twice trust me book them as your DJ you won’t regret it!!!

In November 2018, my wife and I visited with Augie of Planet DJs and were so impressed with his presentation and personability that we chose them to be the entertainment for our wedding. We were ready and excited to celebrate our big day in May of 2020. As many wedding couples experienced last year, COVID completely disrupted and altered any and all wedding plans we had for our May wedding day. My wife and I were absolutely devastated to have to cancel our wedding only weeks prior to our originally scheduled date. There was so much uncertainty, confusion, and quite frankly fear, about what the next steps would be, what would happen, and if we ever would get to experience the wedding day we always dreamed of. While this was an extremely stressful time for us, we were so fortunate to have chosen Augie and Planet DJs as our entertainment for our wedding. Augie remained in constant contact with us throughout the entire pandemic, was extremely flexible and understanding as we rescheduled (and once again cancelled) our date three times before settling on May 2021 (exactly on our one year anniversary!). We had heard true horror stories from other wedding couples about all of the issues they were having with their vendors, and we already felt so blessed that we did not have to experience that. However, we were most blown away by the work and presentation Augie and his team delivered on our wedding day. They perfectly listened to and paid attention to all of our requests (multiple specific songs to be played during the ceremony, country love songs during cocktail hour, classy jazz music during dinner) and all of their songs for dancing were amazing and completely spot on. They provided exceptional entertainment throughout the evening, making sure the event never came to a “drag” and always had an upbeat and interactive feel. They were especially instrumental in doing our gender reveal, which was done in collaboration with our wedding venue. We had a dye baked into our wedding cake (blue for boy, pink for girl - it ended up being a girl!) and Augie and his team did a fantastic job getting the crowd hyped up for the announcement, and blasting our selected song immediately once the gender was revealed (“Who Runs the World”). People still say to this day it was one of the most memorable things they had ever experienced at a wedding. You want to make sure your wedding is a fun event for everyone who is taking the time to attend, and simply put, there is no better option than Planet DJs. Your every request will be honored, you will feel like a valued customer throughout the entire process, and you and your guests are going to have an absolute blast! We used Planet DJ for our wedding on 7/10/21. We're so happy we decided to book with them! Auggie and his entire team did an incredible job. From our first interaction and meeting with him, We know it would be a great experience. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid and the switch was so easy and he was very understanding and had no problems at all. Very professional and responsive to emails/texts/phone calls. Our guests were dancing all night long and had a great time! We also had the mirror photo booth which was a huge hit!! The CO2 gun was also a huge hit and was so much fun. Our guests are still talking about. This was the first big event many guests attended since covid for a lot of people and because of planet DJ, it was a memorable one we will never forget. I highly recommend planet DJ for your next party!!! :) You will not be disappointed.

We used Planet DJ for our wedding and they were amazing!!! They had everyone on the dance floor all night. My biggest fear was having music everyone would enjoy and they 100% had a great variety of music. There pricing was amazing and they even took pictures throughout the night for us. They also worked amazingly with our photographer and our venue. It was like working with one big family! I couldn’t have asked for anything better. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Auggie was such a pleasure! He was super helpful during the planning process especially during the pandemic. The night of the wedding was great! His staff were attentive and walked us through every step of the night. It was great to feel “normal” again. We had the photo booth and even though we couldn’t have the printer he gave us a USB and even overnighted the printed pictures to us! It was also nice to see photos on the big screens by the booth during the party! Would definitely recommend!

We had Planet DJs at our wedding this past weekend and we could not have been more impressed by their work. Our guests raved about how great the DJ was and everyone was up and dancing - they really helped bring the “normal” feeling back to life on the dance floor and our guests had the best time. Auggie is so passionate about his work and the MC ,John, was awesome. The percussionist, Tommy, was an amazing touch to our set up and so much fun! Gianni and the rest of the crew were so attentive to detail and always confirmed with my husband and I what we wanted and if details were correct. I would 100% recommend Planet DJs to help make your night perfect!

As music has always been a passion of mine, my DJ search started very early, and we were so impressed with Planet DJs, they were our first vendor booked-even before our venue! Agostino was very helpful, gave fair prices and advice, and was super responsive (I mean same day, prompt, easy to reach). The day of, our dance floor was packed, the photo booth was a fun addition for all the guests, and everyone said they had a blast! An added bonus to Planet DJs, is they also have a photographer taking some candid shots of the party throughout the night, and they give you a USB containing these photos as well as all the photos from the photo booth at the end of the night! It was nice to have this, because when we got back from our honeymoon, we went through all the pictures on the USB, and it was like reliving the wedding! I highly recommend Planet DJs :)

SO many people came up to me and said how amazing the DJ and MC (John) were! Planet DJ was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Agostino said he was going to be the DJ at my wedding but he also had a baby on the way. He easily could have sent one of his other great DJs but this man is so dedicated to his business and his clients that he showed up even though he had his baby the night before! The photo booth was also great! Everyone had so much fun and I love the book with all of their notes in it! Thank you guys for making my wedding AMAZING!

Everything was perfect, the DJ and MC had the whole wedding up on the dance floor. People we haven't see dance in years were up there dancing all night. everything was perfect and would 100% recommend Planet DJ to anyone!

Planet DJ/DJ Agostino was a pleasure to work with from the first meeting we had. Easy to talk to, replied quickly and extremely friendly. From the beginning he made us feel welcome, accommodated us and made the process simple and easy! Which is so important when planning a wedding and trying to keep track of everything. I had no worries at my wedding, everybody danced throughout the night and it all went smoothly thanks the DJ Agostino and his awesome team! They did our ceremony & reception for the our wedding and we couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend Planet DJ. Thank you!!

We use planet entertainment for every family function we have from sweet 16s, to 50th birthdays. The best decision we made about our wedding was having Augie and his team supply the entertainment for our wedding! The dance floor was packed all night from the first song to the last song. We had full confidence in Augie and he for sure delivered. He mixed in every song we requested and made a special playlist for my bridal party entrance. We highly recommend Planet Entertainment for every event and will continue to use them in the future.

AMAZING!!!! We had an Albanian/ Puerto Rican/ Cuban wedding April 27 and Augie and his crew absolutely rocked iT! There was the perfect mix of Albanian, Spanish, and American music throughout the whole night. All of our guests were on their feet all night long. Everyone was ranting and raving about how great the music was! Communication with Planet DJs beforehand was constant and quick, which left me feeling confident that we would have the perfect night. All of our “must plays” were incorporated into the night and the additional music was just perfect. I can’t thank these guys enough and can’t wait to attend another event they are apart of!!!

Planet DJ's was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ & photo booth! Even though they are located in the Bronx, they were willing to travel all the way to Baiting Hollow in Long Island for our wedding. We choose the use the open air photo booth with a custom backdrop & it was a huge hit! There was a line all night to get into the photo booth! Augie, John & Gianni were the DJ & MC's. They went above & beyond to make sure our day was special & exactly what we wanted. John & Gianni came to speak with us while they were setting up to go over all of the information one last time before the guests arrived. And once they did arrive they didn't stay in their seats for long! They played the perfect amount of newer & older music to keep everyone happy young or old. They also managed to play all of our requested songs seamlessly with the other music. John was friendly & upbeat getting the guests excited for what was coming up next. Gianni checked up with us all night to make sure we were happy & enjoying ourselves. We received rave reviews from all of our guests about how great the DJ was & we couldn't agree more!

I got married last night and wanted to make sure I didn't forget to write a review. I was recommended Planet DJ by 2 family members who used them at their wedding. We had Agostino as the DJ and Artie as the MC. They did the best job! Every song was exactly what you wanted to hear. The dance floor was packed the entire night. I gave them a list of songs just so they knew what kind of music we wanted to hear and they executed it flawlessly.

Words cannot describe how amazing Agostino, Artie, and team were for our wedding on 11/4. The dance floor was NEVER empty and our guests were dancing all night long. They knew exactly what to play when and gave us the best wedding we could ask for! They are extremely professional and work with you throughout the entire process to make sure they know exactly what you want out of your wedding. The music and atmosphere was fun, energetic and fantastic! Artie kept the crowd engaged always and Augie played an amazing mix of music. Thank you so much for making the night unforgettable. I am very happy that I chose Planet DJs Entertainment for my wedding this past Saturday. Agostino was my contact person and it was very easy to communicate with him through the whole process. Even though I had to plan my wedding in only 2 months, I felt like I was in good hands with Agostino and his team. Mike was in charge of my reception and what great at being the MC. He knew how to work in the break-dancers I hired separately with appropriate music before their performance. It was great Agostino recommended the photo booth with the amazing gold back drop. This was a huge hit!!! Agostino also threw in 2 additional video screens to show all the photos my husband and I added to run throughout the night, a very nice touch! I also used Planet DJs Entertainment for video and photography. I can’t write a review on this yet unfortunately, too early to view pictures and the video!

The party they threw was amazing! They had everyone up and entertained. The mc John Luciano was friendly, animated and welcoming. He made sure the dance floor was never empty. On a side note, before the wedding he made sure I was stress free which might be the most important thing! The djs Orlando juame and mike licata clearly have a talent for this! Not one compliant can be made! The music was perfect! Everyone had fun and the entertainment was incredible! Their set up was also great. They took pictures through out the night and displayed it on the screens which was a nice added touch. Augustino D'Ambrosi suggested a photo booth and I'm so glad he did! The pics and memories made were priceless! The saying is true: the dj and mc can make the party and I am so glad I went with this team! Job well done John, Orlando, mike and augie!
