y is excellent at wedding planning. She has years of experience and is very professional, caring, and thorough. She knows so many different vendors, so she was able to help my daughter and I choose the perfect ones that suited my daughter's taste, budget, and style. She helped us design everything-ceremony, florals, reception, place settings, etc. down to the smallest detail, including a kid's table, which was a big hit with our littlest guests. Betsy really gets to know her brides (& Moms) and is very intuitive, so she can tell if her bride really loves something or just likes it. She makes sure her brides and grooms love everything.
Betsy is great with communication and very responsive to all meetings, calls, texts, and emails. She thinks of everything, and is very organized throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding, she took care of everything so my husband and I could enjoy the day and not worry about the details. My husband even gave her a shout-out during his speech, expressing our gratitude.

From the very beginning, Lyndsey was calm under pressure and actively worked to understand our vision for the wedding. She helped us find amazing local vendors that perfectly suited our needs and budget. Her creativity and resourcefulness shone through as she constantly found ways to execute our ideas in the most cost-effective and beautiful ways possible.
One of the most challenging moments arose when we had issues with our hotel just weeks before the wedding. Lyndsey not only kept us calm but also took the lead in negotiating and resolving the situation quickly and effectively. Thanks to her, we avoided what could have been a major crisis.
Throughout the process, Lyndsey kept everything running like clockwork. All of our vendors—across multiple venues—knew exactly what was expected of them, and everything came together seamlessly. Many of our guests commented that it was the best-executed wedding they had ever attended!

Betsy ran with every single suggestion. It was incredible. The end result? A modern art inspired wedding complete with an interactive art gallery at the reception!
The logistics and planning: Betsy walked us through every single thing. She gave us options when we didn’t have a clue. Photographer, caterer, florist, band, you name it! She gave us things piecemeal, so it didn’t feel too overwhelming. She was also very accommodating in working with folks of a minority faith/culture, as both me and my spouse are Jewish and wanted a Jewish wedding.
The big day: I didn’t have to worry about anything. I mean, of course I did worry a little bit, because I’m an anxious person. But I didn’t have to worry. Betsy set everything in motion and when a conflict came up with the transportation (my fault), she fixed it immediately.

Throughout the planning process Betsy would respond promptly to any questions asked even when I was emailing or texting late into the evenings. Betsy was organized offering a multitude of resources she managed to help track details, to do list, and the budget from start to finish. Any concern I had she reassured me that the team would have it handled the day of the wedding.
The day of the wedding they went above and beyond delivering flowers for detail shots at an offsite Airbnb. All the vendors knew what our vision was and how the could contribute thanks to the PtoP team. My family and myself did not have to worry about any of the details the day of the wedding. Everything ran so smooth, and at the end of the night they packed everything into my in laws car.

ant to work with since there is one fee attached to services regardless of event size. Also, if you want to be heard and your vision valued, pass. Often through the planning process I voiced desired details that were ignored. I was hoping for someone that would listen and value my opinions without interjecting their opinions, and was let down. Being a gradate student, this service was supposed to be a valuable asset in our planning process, especially since neither of us are originally from Kentucky. I also asked for all big details to be taken care of before my last year of school began. I was told that would be no problem, but ended up taking care of things well into the fall after the semester started. This was after months of neglect in the spring and early summer. I was ready to terminate the contract mid-summer, but was given promise that things would begin to come together quickly and offered weekly update calls. The calls typically could have been emails and took up valuable time (probably for both of us) that wasn't necessary.
Details expressed more than once, like placement of chairs for ceremony, were missed until the walk through. Even with provided picture examples. Heaven forbid the bride has a tough relationship with her mother. I attempted to make this clear several times, and had to reiterate this during the walk through that I did not want entrances highlighted before the ceremony.
I wanted certain things to be kept a secret to my now husband that were loudly gone through during the walk through. Thankfully, he either didn't catch on or played my ruined surprise off well. After the rocky planning process this was the last thing I was expecting and was furious since I stated these details were to be a surprised.
I usually prefer not to write negative reviews, but was urged by multiple people as a warning to other couples about what they could potentially be getting into. I am happy there are other couples that have had excellent support and wish I could have had the same experience.

Once we did, we were introduced to Julia who provided outstanding day-of planning and coordination. She made it clear she was always available and went out of her way to visit vendors with us, provide feedback, and generally help us keep our heads on straight as we planned a day-long affair with multiple venues. (All during Thunder Over Louisville, no less!) Her assistant Lily was also invaluable in realizing our vision for a very meaningful set of personalized table centerpieces for our reception, and went out of her way to support us during our first visits with vendors.

I can't imagine getting through the rehearsal or wedding day without her. She directed the rehearsal, which made it super easy. When we needed last minute makeup and henna artists, no problem. My wedding weekend was not without its own little glitches, but honestly I didn't even hear about them because I got to relax and get ready with my girlfriends instead, and Betsy had already taken care of everything. could give ourselves and our families--- rather than have everyone set up, troubleshoot, contact vendors, and oh- figure out the whole timeline, we had an expert do it! It gave me a huge sigh of relief and I only wished I got her first thing.
Betsy is so well connected in the industry and gave so many tips and recommendations to keep us on track, and calmed me down many times. We planned the wedding long-distance, but knew that at the end of the day it would come together thanks to the help we received. She set up the wedding exactly as we wanted (and even let us borrow a few things), made us a plate of food to made sure we ate (THANK YOU!), and stayed until the end to pack up. The whole day was smooth and on track and it allowed us to just really enjoy ourselves. About a week ahead of the wedding, she contacted all the vendors and ensured they know where to go and when to arrive. Betsy also coordinated the rehearsal which made a big difference-- I appreciated that she checked in often and honored our preferences.

She ended up being unapproachable, unfriendly, unavailable, etc. So, only one month out, we realized we needed someone who truly cared about us and our happiness/sanity. That is when we came across Planned to Perfection of the Bluegrass. We got to work with Betsy..and she was a true miracle. I have no doubt that our wedding would not have come together without her. She jumped in, with such little notice, and got things done ! She left no stone unturned. She was extremely efficient, approachable, responsive, proactive, friendly, hands-on, thorough, and welcoming. I felt so relaxed and at ease with our wedding in her hands. She made sure every detail was taken care of and brought up ideas I had not even thought about. When it came to the day of the wedding, she made it so that I did not have to worry about one, single detail. She knew who to contact when issues arose, which they inevitably always do at weddings, and I never had to stress. After speaking to other married friends, they could not say the same about their weddings, unfortunately. Betsy was the reason we were able to relax and have fun on our wedding day (we had a large wedding with lots of detail)! I have never been so impressed with the professionalism and dedication of any other business, in general, compared to Planned to Perfection. Their prices are also very reasonable and their service is well worth the money for your wedding sanity !!!! I swear by them !
