Would be a zero star if I could. Our wedding was October 7, 2023. Darren canceled at 7pm on October 6, 2023. We have been trying to get a refund since then. Currently we are in early December and have gotten radio silence from Darren. Do not book.
My wedding was on 10.21.23 Darren had sent us a guy named Jordan to DJ for us. At first everything went smooth but then he kept disappearing from behind the booth. He messed up our first dance song and the mother of the grooms song. When we asked him to play the list of songs we wanted to hear he jumped around all over the place and some of the songs weren’t even right. We had to dismiss our own tables for dinner.
If I could give 0 stars I would.
He canceled on us at 7:00pm the night before our wedding. Our wedding was October 7th 2023. We have still not received a refund from him. He has made numerous promises to pay us back. We told him we'd take multiple payments if he couldn't pay us back all at once. He also canceled the day before on two other brides and still has not paid them back. He lied and told us he paid them back but he has not.
He has stopped contacting us completely, and won't reply to any messages asking for our money back.
DO NOT BOOK THIS DJ.
Cancelled on us the night before my daughters wedding 4 months ago and still has not given us a full refund!
Working with this service started out fine but it has turned out absolutely terribly to put it nicely. After we were talked into putting a full deposit down at once, we didn’t hear from the DJ much afterwards, even though he said he would send us a portal for music and an intake sheet and then didn’t. Once we finally got these things (after I had to bring it up again) probably a month after hire, it was radio silence again until we reached out to make sure everything was still on for our wedding about a week prior and we were assured it was… and then LESS THAN 24 hours before our wedding, they cancelled on us with no warning which was indescribably terrible. That is bad enough to begin with, but it has been nearly a month since this cancellation and we still have not received any form of a refund, as promised, by multiple deadlines he has provided (that have all passed), and as mandated in our signed contract in the event of a cancellation. Now we cannot even get into contact with Darren (the guy we have been in contact with from the start) as he will not pick up any calls or even answer our texts.
