We had a great experience with Platinum Rentals. We hired them to provide rentals for both our wedding day and a day-after BBQ, and they were super responsive throughout the planning process to all of our adjustments and changes. They were extremely prompt with delivery and pick-up. We definitely highly recommend!
We recently had our wedding on 4/16/22 after two postponements due to covid (read three different wedding dates). Throughout the process, platinum was very easy to work with and communicative. They were professional and were there with each postponement which made postponing the wedding less stressful. The equipment rented (chairs, tables, bar tables, market lighting, heating furnaces, draping, etc.) were in great condition and everything looked pristine. We had a couple questions over the items listed in the contract and they went over it in detail with us. The only thing we would have changed is we tried to pay the remaining portion of our bill (to stagger the last payments) however it took awhile for someone to charge the remaining portion to clear our account. Other than that we had no issues!
We had to postpone our wedding for at least a year due to the pandemic and from day one, I worked with Cristin who could not have been more helpful. She worked with me and my zillion questions I had. The people that came to drop off the rental equipment were also amazing and made sure everything was perfect. Would 100% recommend!
Platinum was AMAZZZZZING! More specifically- Sydney E. i found them upon doing some research in the area as I was on a budget and needed to rent virtually everything for my wedding. wow was Sydney just incredible at communicating and staying on top of things. I might have changed my mind maybe 50+ times on all my rental items in the two years I spent planning (due to covid) - and I had to rent nearly everything for my venue as It was a-la carte- Sydney was absolutely SEAMLESS with all my changes and let me tell you— PATIENT and kind! I am SO glad I chose to work with her through platinum. They had beautiful rental pieces and the whole wedding looked incredible. I cannot wait to get photos back :) thanks Sydney for making this such an easy process! Thank you again!
Great pricing and even better communication! It helped that they knew the venue as I showed them inspo pictures from previous weddings and knew exactly what to do making them very easy to work with.
This company is AMAZING. After our decorator became a flake, we had to race to find another replacement - and I wish we had hired them up front. I worked mainly with Jessy - and boy, was she a godsend! She was extremely responsive, professional, kind and all the things. Our events turned out absolutely beautiful - even more so than I could imagine, and they worked hard to bring my vision to life. Jessy + team - thank you SO much for making my wedding a dream come true. If you're thinking about hiring them, DO IT. You won't be disappointed.
Platinum Event Rentals provided event rentals for our wedding. They had everything we needed / wanted for our beautiful wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. Our sales consultant, Sydney, was AMAZING. She was easy to work with and super responsive to questions and revision requests. On the day of, everything was setup on time and everything looked amazing (especially the chandeliers, drapes, and ceiling swags)!
Platinum was so helpful when we had to keep making changes to our order. Everything came out beautifully and we are so grateful that they made our vision come to life!
Cristin over at Platinum Event Rentals was one of the most helpful people I’ve ever encountered in customer service. I must have changed my wedding rental order 20 times, and she would respond every time with such positivity and promptness. It was truly a joy to work with her. She came to the walkthrough of the wedding venue with us to see how many feet of market lights we would need for outside, and worked with the venue manager to confirm when and where the team could set up. You can tell this company has been around a while, and is truly good at what they do. The prices of their rentals were amazing as well, we got the fruitwood folding chairs for the wedding ceremony and then they were later moved to the dinner tables, and they looked gorgeous up against the ivory tablecloths. This was initially how I found this company, was their pricing for the chairs was cheaper than others and they had good reviews. Well thank goodness I found them because I ended up adding more and more to my order with them instead of other vendors, because of how easy it was to work with them and how competitive their prices were. It was my perfect vision. Our sweetheart table was their farmhouse wooden table, and they draped some ivory chiffon across it, which looked so romantic and beautiful. Could not recommend Cristin and Platinum Event Rentals more, will be using them again in a heartbeat for any event rental needs!
You can't beat their price and we didn't even know they were there which to me is the hallmark of a solid rental company.

Platinum Event Rentals was one of the best vendors we had! They answered all of our questions, took extra care when putting our dance floor on grass, and even visited the event space months before the wedding to make sure they could do it! I would highly recommend!!
I used Platinum Event Rentals for my wedding and cannot say enough great things about them!! Sydney and her team were flawless and so easy to work with! I even had to change the delivery time the week of the wedding and they accommodated me without any hesitation. All of the decor items were delivered on time and set up perfectly! I keep dreaming about the adorable criss cross back bistro chairs and farm tables! They were exactly what I wanted and at the best price in San Diego!

This company cares about you and wants you to be happy with your selections. They walked us through the showroom and were very informed of the available options (colors, styles) and even provided super helpful input. Because the prices were very fair, we rented the tables, chairs, linens, plates, silverware, you name it, from Platinum Events Rentals. Our wedding looked beautiful.
Platinum has a decent array of rentals to choose from. They were flexible when we changed our menu to add salad plates and forks. Platinum also handled our ceremony set up at Sunset Cliffs. They did a beautiful job. The ascetics of the location was our decoration so we kept things simple with white chairs and a bamboo chuppah and simple flowers to decorate. One thing that was disappointing was I wanted to rent 2 very sturdy chairs to do the Horah and they only had a wood bistro chair to offer me. I asked what they normally recommend and they said they had never been asked this before which I find shocking. We ended up still doing the Horah on our "gasp" resin folding chairs which was terrifying but fun. I would recommend they invest in a few sturdy chairs because I am guessing others have asked this question but went with a different vendor since they could not accommodate. I would choose Platinum Event Rentals again easily.
I rented chairs for our ceremony, everything else was covered by our venue. They were so easy to work with and had better prices than anyone else I found. I needed to narrow down the delivery time and they adjusted it to a smaller window than normal with no additional fees. I'd highly recommend them!
When I was 2 weeks away from my wedding, the final rental order was sent to me and the rental company we were originally going to use had some outrageous prices for the nonstandard items I wanted to rent. I decided to look around last minute, and I'm so thankful I did! Carrie from Platinum Event Rentals was so helpful and took the time to make sure my order was correct and made last minute changes as I needed. She always responded to my emails within an hour or two. Their prices are very reasonable, and they have everything you need for a wedding reception. Highly recommended!

When we were looking for a rental company to rent our linens and napkins from, we came across Platinum Rentals thanks to my wedding planner. I'm so happy with our decision to come here! Cristin is a total sweetheart and worked with my indecisiveness over the past 6 months. I must have changed my colors and asked her to change out the linens multiple times. She is the most patient and nicest person to deal with my lack of decision making. She's extremely prompt and cares about what we want and doesn't try to push anything on us at all. We had our reception at Tom Ham's Lighthouse this past weekend and the linens and napkins we rented from Cristin looked wonderful!! Easily one of my favorite vendors to work with during the whole process. We were not an easy family to work with because we were constantly adding and subtracting items. We even added something the day of the wedding and they handled everything perfectly. highly highly recommend. Also, prices are extremely competitive in the SD market.

We rented chair covers and sashes from Platinum Party Rentals for our indoor wedding. Amy was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to order sash samples for us to check out during our two visits to the store, and she was very helpful by providing alternative ideas. The delivery, set up and pick up went very smoothly, and the chair sashes added to the beauty of our ballroom.

Platinum party is a great company! They are friendly and attentive. The months before my wedding I switched things in my order so many times, I thought for sure they were sick of me, but they were always very friendly and accomodating. The delivery drivers were early for both set up & take down, quick and professional. Also, the tables and chairs were in great condition!
They worked great with our vendor and delivered the chivalry chairs on time, all the chairs were in great shape and looked beautiful. Tey came on time to pick them up and were really easy to work with.
I researched about 5 different rental companies and found Platinum to be the best. They are the least expensive and deliver a great service and product. They were very helpful and efficient with the estimate and contract. I didn't have any issues with them.
Our wedding was at the admiral kidd, downstairs and the dance floor is way in the back corner. I wanted to have it out in the middle of the floor where people could enjoy the view. I called several places about a portable dance floor and platinum was the most professional and the most affordable. One of the big problems with the admiral kidd is you are on a very tight timeline, so the floor had to be setup exaclty between 3 and 4pm and taken down at between 11 and 12midnight. The guys were there on time, they set and took down without needing any extra guidence, it was like they weren't even there
These people have all the options you could dream of and they guarantee the best price in town. If you find it cheaper elsewhere they will match or underbid the competition. They have a small showroom and are very upfront about prices. You will get excellent service without any surprises.
