David was amazing to work with and got everything checked off my list of must haves! Anything I asked for he made it happen! His team set up all of my decor exactly how I wanted and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. I had the most amazing day, all of my guests kept saying how pretty the venue was! Food was awesome too!

Can I give 6 stars?! This venue is absolutely gorgeous, we were in the Peabody Pavilion by the Eel River, one of two event spaces at the venue, and everything was perfect. What made it even better was the incredible staff, led by David Sheehy. Everyone was so kind and attentive to us and our guests, and made me feel like a princess on my special day. David was calm, kind, and organized throughout the entire process, even when I was stressed. They even kept our food warm for us while we took sunset pictures with our photographer. The day was spectacular from top to bottom, and I can't that the Plimoth Patuxet team enough for their work, they are truly experts at their craft.

I don’t even know where to start with this venue! We were lucky enough to work with David Sheehy, who works in the sales department but ends up being family by the end of the process. You would’ve thought we were family by the way he was with us to help in any way possible over a year and a half. And on top of that, he truly cares about the bride and groom having the best day of their lives. The venue itself was also amazing. Our ceremony was in the Hornblower Garden and our reception was in the Peabody Pavillion. It was set up perfectly and brought our boho/romantic visions to life by a landslide. The food was also incredible and we got several compliments on it. 100% recommend this venue, and 100000% recommend working with David, if you have the chance :)

Hornblower Garden and Gainsborough Hall were beautiful settings for my daughter's ceremony and reception. The food and service provided by Plentiful Events Catering were exceptional. I was disappointed with the lack of communication provided related to decorating the event. There was no communication or documentation around our decor prior to the wedding day. This resulted in numerous key items that were purchased and delivered to the venue being excluded by decisions from the staff. I think the vendor should consider providing some detailed decor guidelines for couples during the planning phase. Wedding decor is a costly and meaningful part of the wedding, and it is important to ensure everything will be utilized as envisioned by the couple. The venue should also make it clear that Plentiful staff will set up/remove decor in the reception area but that the bridal party is solely responsible for set up/removal of all garden ceremony decor on the wedding day. This was extremely inconvenient and not what I expected from a full-service wedding venue.
I do recommend this venue for beauty and excellent catering services, but you probably need to hire an independent wedding coordinator to deal with all of the day of surprises we ran into.

We cannot say enough great things about our experience at Plymouth Patuxet. From the second we toured it was obvious David was extremely experienced and we would be in good hands. David and his entire team were attentive, proactive, knowledgeable and always friendly. They were accommodating of any question or ask we had and always had solutions and suggestions when needed. The venue held a beautiful tasting event where they showcased vendors and allowed us to try many of the menu options to make our decision. It was a really special day that got us excited for the celebration.
As it came to the week of the wedding we had changes and the team was always accommodating and flexible. They took personal care in our planning and requests and made sure the night of the wedding we had absolutely nothing to worry about. The venue was absolutely stunning and we have continued to receive compliments from guests months after the wedding on the venue and entire night.
If you are looking for a beautiful, personal and fun wedding planning experience I cannot recommend David and his team at Plentiful Events enough. The venue has a wonderful backdrop for photos and allows for both hybrid indoor/outdoor spaces for guests to gather. Choosing Plentiful Events was the best venue decision we could have made and we could not recommend it more.

The plimoth patuxet was by far the best venue we looked at during our venue hunt. The 2 venue areas they offer were absolutely stunning. The management staff at the facility were unmatched and carried the highest level of professionalism and kindness through our entire wedding planning process. David the sales manager was one of the best people we encountered during our wedding planning experience. This venue went above and beyond to lay out everything they offer and make your big day go off without a hitch. They have it down to a true science of planning and presenting the most beautiful venue possible. Every one of our guests was blown away with the beauty and ease the staff and venue provided. When shopping around for wedding venues we saw how easy it was for the price to rise. The package that the plimoth patuxet offers was by far the most “bang for your buck” and affordable. This venue deserves 10 stars for how amazing they were to work with and the beauty it has to offer.

Where do I even begin? John and I will be forever grateful to the entire team at Plentiful Catering at Plimoth Patuxet Museums for making our wedding day one of the most memorable days of our lives. It rained buckets- just in time for our first look/photos/ceremony- and the whole crew made sure everything went beyond smoothly. On the morning of our wedding, when we knew rain was inevitable, I texted David to ask if we could have our first look in the Nye barn.. it was an immediate yes.. and he let me know that there were three new piglets from the night before! It was absolutely perfect.
Isabel, our day of coordinator was fantastic! She took all of our decor items and created the most beautiful atmosphere and kept things running smoothly and on time throughout the night.
A special shout out to Judith for anticipating our every need and for rocking out to the Backstreet Boys with us! Every time we turned around she was there, bringing us drinks all night and making sure we were well fed.
And David- the manager who literally does EVERYTHING- from last minute texts, to hour long phone calls, to endless email chains about signature drinks, haha.. was incredible. From the very beginning he was nothing but kind, incredibly responsive and knowledgeable in his role. This place is so fortunate to have a person like him to help future newly weds navigate this nutty process.. and he does it with grace and poise.
Not only was this venue beautiful and the staff incredible, our guests raved about the food and drinks. One of the signature drinks was so popular that the team had to whip up a new batch half way through the wedding! Thank you Kim and the entire bar tending team for all of your hard work and attention to detail.
Run.. don’t walk to book this venue for your wedding!!!

Wedding on 9/9/2023 - You should book your wedding with this venue!!! We had our ceremony and reception at the Peabody Pavilion and it was more than I could ever ask for. David and his team were beyond amazing and helped us so much in ways I never could have imagined. We never felt like we were missing something and they were so clear and communicative on the events for the day and the planning along the way. When we went to tour the venue we basically immediately called to book a date right when we left. It was just so perfect with the greenery along the river and the setup with the tent/dining and dancing right next door. David and his team were so accommodating like helping with our band set up and all. Also by the way the bartenders were AMAZING. We had 180 guests and there was never a line and we had gone to a wedding after ours where it took about 15 minutes to get a drink. Everyone complimented the food (we did the stations! so many options!). It was just the greatest and I would highly suggest hosting your wedding or event here.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! We chose to get married in the Hornblower garden and reception was in Gainsborough hall. From the moment I toured this venue I knew we were in good hands. The location is beautiful and the people are truly spectacular. I felt very stressed with a lot of the wedding planning process but the one thing I truly did not have to worry about was anything on site at the Plimoth Patuxet Museum. David and his team are extremely thorough. I had a lot of questions leading up to the big day and everyone was able to answer them quickly and efficiently. We were able to really enjoy our day and not have to worry about a single thing. I even kept telling my husband “this is way better than I could’ve imagined.” Our family and friends have complimented so many times on the generosity of the staff, the food and the ease of flow for the entire evening. We wish we could do it all over again!!

Wedding 6/9/23…The crew at Plimoth Patuxet were incredible including David, Ryan, Isabel, and Delia. Starting with David, I feel like everything was so easy from the beginning and he was easy to get in touch with for any questions I had via email or text. The food tasting day was amazing and honestly, I feel like we couldn’t really go wrong with most of the options provided. Wedding day was slightly stressful because of the weather; I had my heart set on outside but this is New England after all and well, the sun couldn’t make up it’s mind. That being said, the whole team was so on board with doing whatever would make my husband and I happy for our big day. Even up until the very last minute, they never made us feel pressured or like we were an inconvenience. David literally made sure I sat down to eat because he knew the night could easily get away from us plus the open bar is included :) On that note, the team made sure my husband and I were never left wanting/needing anything…beer, food, water, ect..they’d come seek us out on the dance floor or wherever we were. We sincerely felt taken care of. The site itself is on a river with a stone patio and fireplace backdrop , which makes it so beautiful, especially at sunset. We were incredibly happy with our wedding day and have an amazing team at Plimoth Patuxet to thank for that so thank you all.

This venue was in house which made everything so easy! I absolutely had the best experience working with David and his team! They made everything go so smoothly on the big day. I kept telling David he is now part of my family! He was amazing! Answered all my questions and pulled out all the stops for us! He checked in with us throughout the year and help lessen my anxiety. It rained on our day so our ceremony space was moved inside but not to worry David and his team had it covered. David, we love you! Thanks for everything you have done for us. We will forever be grateful.

When we first visited the venue, we fell in love with the location, the views, the tent.
David was incredibly responsive, answered all of our questions leading up to the wedding. He put me at ease that everything would be taken care of. They made sure everything went so smoothly, and every small detail was taken care of.

David Sheehy, Ryan Shanley, Ashley, Isabella and the whole team at Plentiful Events/Plimoth-Patuxet are a team of experienced professionals who were prepared for every scenario. This was especially important because the weather on our wedding day included 20mph winds with sheets of rain. David and his team had Plan A, B, and C lined up and ready, each option just as nice as the last. This team is consultative, accommodating, communicative, and made me feel as a bride that everything was handled. Every time we turned around at our reception, there was an attendant asking me if there was anything I needed. Not to mention the venue is picturesque, coastal, with a historical element. All of our wedding guests raved about the food, so hats off to the chef for a job well done!!! We couldn't be happier with how things turned out, and we highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married in the Plymouth area!

I got married at Plimoth Plantation on October 30th and cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and the staff. First, Massachusetts had a Nor'easter three days before my wedding that blew out the power in many towns across the state including Plymouth. Needless to say I was very stressed and nervous that my wedding could not happen since the venue had no power. Thursday night before my wedding on Saturday I get a call from David, who is truly amazing, letting me know everything can go on as planned and that they rented a generator. I honestly cannot say enough about David and the rest of the staff (Liz, Erin, Anna, Julie, Kimberly etc.) They ALL went above an beyond and offered 5 star service to me and my guests. David is the type of wedding coordinator you dream about for your wedding. When I first met him I knew I was in good hands. I say that this is a beautiful hidden gem because it truly is. The staff, the beautiful venue, the affordableness; it is everything you want in a wedding and more. I highly recommend if you are in search of a venue in the South Shore. You will not be disappointed, especially if you are one of the lucky ones to have David work your wedding. Thank you all for an incredible evening! It is definitely one to remember!!

Five stars is not enough for Plimoth Patuxet!! We were a 2020 turned 2021 couple and we felt nothing but lucky to have such an amazing team along for the ride. We were so stress free despite many obstacles as well as a downpour at ceremony time. We honestly wouldn’t change a thing and David our coordinator is a true gem and honorary family member now. To find a venue that is so affordable compared to others in the area but also has amazing views, truly delicious food with so many options and includes everything you need (tent, linens, setup) is unheard of these days. We know so many couples that were so stressed by the details week of, we truly felt none of that and it is all due to making an amazing choice in this venue. We cannot thank you enough.

If you are thinking about booking your wedding here...DO IT! Truly the best kept secret on the South Shore. First off, the venue itself is STUNNING. My husband and I got married in the garden with our reception in the Pavilion. So beautiful and you really do not need to do much to the ceremony space to make it look like a wedding. The Pavilion has beautiful views, gorgeous flowers and the stunning fireplace was the perfect addition. I kept looking around on my wedding night thinking wow this is so beautiful.
The staff is incredible. Before the wedding they kept us well in the loop with every update from the governor. I had friends get screwed during COVID but the staff at Plimoth Plantation was great to work with and were even more lenient with the contract in our favor. We ere so lucky to have David as our wedding coordinator and he was AMAZING! Great at coordinating all the details and making sure that everything runs smoothly. He was even ready to step in as our officiant when ours was running late. He went above and beyond always making sure ourselves and our families had a drink and were doing okay. He even came over with blue cheese for us after one of the speeches talked about how much we love blue cheese as a couple. It was all the small details that made such a big difference. I cannot say enough good things about David and the rest of the staff. They even danced with us at the end of the night!
The food is AMAZING. We got so many compliments about the food starting with the appetizers, entrees and late night pizza. Overall our guests were very impressed and many people said the best wedding they have been too. One guest even said this was better than the Castle Hill wedding they had just went to.
So happy with our experience here. The best part is you can take your kids here in the future. It will always be there.

Day of we worked with Erin and David who did such an incredible job bringing everything together. The entire staff was truly amazing and made us feel at complete ease. The food is also phenomenal!! We had to reschedule the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding and Plimoth Plantation came to the rescue! We held our event at the Craft Pavilion with a view of Cape Cod Bay and the Pilgrim Village. The food was top notch delish and the staff was gracious and wonderful. The Event Coordinator, Liz, was very accommodating and simply lovely. I recommend this private and lovely venue for any event. The Craft Pavillion is perfect for a small casual wedding reception or any type of party/celebration event. We had a formal dinner for 30 followed by a casual drinks and deserts event for another 30 out of town guests and the size of the venue was just perfect - no crowding at all. We were able to set up cornhole boards for late evening entertainment. You can't go wrong having any event here or anywhere on the Plimoth Plantation property.

I really dont have the words to capture how perfect of a venue Plimoth Plantation was for our wedding. The Hornblowers Garden was truly something out of a fairy-tale. Besides the PERFECT setting and reception space, the service was better than 5 stars. The entire team from beginning of planning to the last second of the night, was incredible.
I do also have to make sure I shout out the chef. We requested a VEGAN wedding, and the chef pulled of an AMAZING... (one more time for the people in the back....) AMAZING menu that was so incredibly delicious. A lot of our guests were weary about the food leading up to the wedding, but we heard nothing but great things and how surprised everyone was that vegan food could be so tasty!!! I *really* cant thank PP enough for making our day beyond perfect.

We hadn’t visited Plimoth Plantation since elementary school but we heard such great things from other people that we had to look at their wedding venue. We were amazed! The Plantation village and wedding area are really separate so you get the beautiful, well-tended grounds while you feel like you’re on a private estate. It was a pleasure to work with the team at every stage of our planning. The day could not have gone better! Our rehearsal was easy and efficient. The staff was fantastic directing our guests to the ceremony site on Saturday and made it easy for our family members who have mobility difficulties. The Hornblower Garden was beautiful for our ceremony: lush, green, well kept. The reception was in Gainsboro Hall, overlooking water. It has a great outdoor space for our guests during the cocktail hour and the reception. The wait staff always went the extra step to assist or direct our friends and family. Everyone raved about the food, including those in our party that had allergies and intolerances (including the groom).

Couldn’t have asked for anything more! We got married last weekend on the hottest day of the year...(maybe ever!) 7/20/19. David Sheehy and his staff were absolutely out of this world. They made the night perfect, despite the muggy, 98 degree weather! We had the time of our lives and can’t thank them enough. We’ve had so many guests comment on how beautiful and put together everything was and we owe it all to David and crew. Thank you from the bottom of our 💕’s!

Plimoth Plantation is hands down the best venue in New England. I cannot rave enough about how incredible everything was; I was planning our wedding from out of state and found the process and communication to be amazing. Diane was so great answering any and all questions that I had during the booking process and any silly detail questions leading up to the date. David was incredible to work with; from intro phone calls, rehearsal planning and all of the day of details David and his staff were on top of it!! The food was out of this world; everyone has been raving about it since our wedding, the late night ice cream cart was so worth the investment our guests were beyond impressed. I work for a wedding venue in Savannah, GA and can honestly say that the Plimoth Plantation wedding packages are some of the best that I have seen during my 5+ years in the industry. I seriously hope that I have a friend or relative have a wedding here so I get to attend one as a guest; there is not a single thing that I would change. Diane, David and all of the servers are truly such a great team, you will not regret trusting them with you wedding day!

Plimoth Plantation was a delight to work with. The people are wonderful, the grounds are gorgeous and the food was fabulous. My family and friends had a top notch time at our October wedding. I, as the bride, did not have to worry about anything. The staff made this day that I had planned for and toiled over for 10 months the easiest day of my life. I worked with Deb, Erin and my day-of coordinator (who's name I cannot remember right now) took all the stress out of this whole experience. BOOK THIS PLACE.

From start to finish, the evening of our wedding was everything we had imagined. The garden at Plimoth Plantation is so beautiful and the evening ran smoothly and we had such a wonderful time. Our wedding coordinator, Alex, was such a delight to work with. He was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because some of the people we worked with early on in the process were not as responsive and it was hard to get our questions answered. I wish we had been able to work with Alex the whole time and the planning process would have been less stressful.

Plimouth Plantation was perfect! I had my first meeting with Diane over a year ago and she is amazing! She answered every question and always made me feel so comfortable. I never hesitated calling or emailing with a random question because she was always so warm and friendly. We had David as our day of coordinator and he was fantastic! We had an informal reception and he helped make ever transition so smooth. I honestly think he was the main reason why the day was perfect! I never once had to worry about a thing! The wedding took place in the garden. It is so beautiful!Liz was amazing as well. She made everyone at ease especially because it poured rain the day of the rehearsal. I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff here! The garden is gorgeous, Gainsborough Hall was perfect for my wedding guest size, the chef made amazing food and the bartenders and staff were so friendly and on top of everything. I’m so happy I picked Plimouth Plantation!

We had a dream wedding at Plimoth Plantation. It exceeded our expectations in beauty, service and value. We had our ceremony in the Hornblower Garden in July, and it was absolutely stunning; like an enchanted forest. The photos came out stunning. As for the service; everyone we dealt with was fantastic -- especially Diane and Erin. Thank you for making our decision so smooth! They were so organized and guided us every step of the way. Our guests raved about the venue and the food, in particular, was outstanding. We are still getting compliments (we had the swordfish and the beef). Oh, and we 'rented' two pilgrims to socialize in-character during the cocktail hour. So fun! We are so grateful we could get married here, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a New England wedding!

The team at Plimoth Plantation was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Diane kept in touch with us from the minute we booked the venue and David, our day of coordinator, really brought it home. He made sure to keep in touch with all of our vendors and made us feel at ease days before our wedding. On the day of, David made sure we ate and catered to our every need as the night went on. Even our guests are still saying what a pleasure it was to have him join us! Our guests also raved about the appetizers (get the stuffed mushrooms!) and main dishes served at the wedding. The Plimoth Plantation was an amazing venue choice. Diane was fantastic with the initial planning, Erin was so helpful with the ceremony, and David was stellar as our day-of point person. I cannot say enough good things about the team. Throughout our wedding David and Erin both checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The attention to detail, and attentiveness was outstanding. The food at the venue was fantastic, and was complimented by many of our guests - one even said that the chicken dish was the best chicken he ever had. I don't have a single complaint about the Plantation, and cannot recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you for everything!

I got married on June 10th 2017, I had my ceremony in the garden and the reception in the pavilion. Erin was my day of coordinator and she was so on top of everything, the whole day went off as planned without a single mishap. She made sure the tables were exactly as I imagined and I truly couldn't have been happier. The day was perfect. There was only one slight issue, a couple for my wedding got directed to the other wedding happening on the property...but once the couple realized they were in the wrong spot, they made it to my wedding on time. I only mention it because it was a staff member (not Erin) that directed them. Otherwise, it was beautiful and perfect. We were asked multiple times how we found the venue and compliments on the location. Very happy with our decision and would recommend Plimoth Plantation to anyone!

We are so glad we used the Plimoth Plantation as our wedding reception venue. Everything from the service to the location to the food was beyond words! All the guests loved everything about the venue as well. We HIGHLY recommend this!

Plimoth Plantation was the perfect venue! My husband and I had looked a bunch of other places and nothing else compared. It was rustic yet elegant. We got married in the Hornblower Garden and it was the perfect backdrop. We felt like we were in some secret garden. We took pictures in one of the villages, which was super cool and fun! We played games on the lawn and overlooked the beautiful water. It was perfect. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We had such an easy time working with everyone there. Diane helped us put everything together, David helped coordinate our reception and made it run so smoothly, and Liz helped make our ceremony perfect. Would highly recommend checking out Plimoth Plantation!

We were SO happy with this venue. It was just simply the perfect day. We were married in the garden and had our reception in the pavilion. Friends and family are still talking about how magical the whole place was. We had Karlene as our day of coordinator, and she was fabulous. They were very very attendive to us, I was never without a drink and I had a personal attendant (!) who was right there to answer my question or address something before I could even get the sentence out. My only complaint and reason for not giving this wonderful place 5 stars was the planning process. They have a strange set up where you are only allowed to speak with the general catering manager until about a month or 2 before the wedding, so none of your particulars get addressed until that point which was nerve racking. Our day of coordinator was very flexible but I cant say that as freely about the general catering manager. That small frustration was WELL worth this place however, and the best part, it was by far the most reasonably priced venue. We went there, fell in love and were so happy that it was also our best option financially. I HIGHLY recommend this place. IF you are bride that is very particular and expects to have every need catered too, maybe not the best option for you... otherwise, we HIGHLY recommend.

My son was married on June 18, 2016 at the Plimoth Plantation. The ceremony and reception were held on the Eil River and it was the most beautiful setting for a wedding. The event coordinator, Karlene, was great. She assisted us through the entire event and at the end it was like she was part of the family. The food that was served was absolutely amazing and the wait staff was so accommodating. We could not have chosen a better venue. We had two choices - Chicken and Filet and both were cooked to perfection. The Filet also came with lobster mac. and cheese which was amazing! I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. I cannot say enough about how perfect my son's wedding was. Father Paul who married them that day even remarked that it was truly a day that Heaven had made and with the summer solstice and full moon almost at the same time it truly was magical. Thank you to everyone involved.

We had our wedding here in October 2015. The staff did an amazing job. Everyone went above and beyond to make our day memorable. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Everyone in attendance commented it was THE BEST food they'd ever had at a wedding. The garden where we held our ceremony was picturesque. I can not say enough good things about Plimoth! I HIGHLY recommend them.

I just got married at Plimoth Plantation on 8/28/15, and I can't say enough amazing things about this venue. We were married in Hornblower garden, and had the reception at Peabody Pavilion. It was absolutely beautiful; everything I dreamed of and more!
There are so many amazing things to be said about this venue. Diane, Karlene and the entire team at Plimoth Plantation are second to none. They're sweet, responsive, professional, and overall amazing. They are always ready and happy to help every step of the way - they even provided emotional support! I can't tell you how meaningful it was to get personal emails from Karlene and Diane with some of the kindest words I had received during the wedding planning process. They really eased my mind and made me feel like everything would go off without a hitch - and that it did!
This venue is absolutely beautiful, and at a very fair price. Our guests were completely blown away; I've received so many compliments on how stunning it was. Overall this venue has it all - it's absolutely beautiful, fairly priced, and the staff make the entire process even better. Do yourself a favor and visit Plimoth Plantation before you make your final venue choice. In my opinion, the photos simply don't do this venue justice! Take it from a very happy Bride :)

Having my wedding at Plimoth Plantation was the best decision I ever made! The Hornblower garden, where the ceremony took place was breathtaking! And the reception in the white tent overlooking the Eel River was just as beautiful! The chef and food was amazing! Every guest raved about how delicious everything was- from apps to entrees. And I truly can't say enough about the staff! I worked very closely with Diane and Erin and they were awesome! Not only did they have great personalities but were incredible helpful with the planning process from start to finish. Erin had everything moving smoothing the day of and it went off perfectly! She was so sweet and always made sure I had enough to eat and always asking what I was drinking and would come back with a drink for me. Can't say enough about this place! I would suggest it to anyone!

This venue is amazing... if you are looking to get married outdoors and have a great love of food, look no further. The staff is wonderful and the chef is amazing. They help you with everything from start to finish. This was very helpful to me as I was planning the wedding all by myself and needed some guidance with things like, timing of the ceremony and reception. I highly recommend for anyone that is looking to have an amazing wedding and not break the bank in the process.

We had a fantastic experience with Plimoth Plantation. We wanted a wedding that was not in a "wedding factory" and something that was very Massachusetts-y. I love history, so this place was perfect. The staff was incredible, always available and willing to help. Especially Amy and Holly!
Our guests had a great time, and they loved the food!! And we had some guests that are tough to impress. My husband and I are hoping we get invited to wedding there, so we can experience it the way our guests did.
Lots of little touches that made it classy - great outdoor space, local beer, signature drinks, typical New England fare.
Just wonderful, I can't say enough good things about it.

Plimoth Plantation is a beautiful site to have a ceremony and reception. Their garden is gorgeous if you're looking for an outdoor ceremony. We had our reception in their Peabody Pavilion. It's a half- hall half- tented room that is beautiful. It overlooks the a pond. Everything went very smoothly and all the staff worked very hard to make it a special night.

We are so happy we had our wedding at Plimoth Plantation. We chose to have the ceremony in Hornblower Garden and the reception in Peabody Pavilion. The garden is really beautiful and versatile for different kinds of weddings - ours was more rustic and casual with about 110 guests. Sadly, it rained the day of our wedding, so we had to move it into the tent at the pavilion, but the ceremony attendant and other staff on hand made that transition so easy that it seemed like it was meant to be that way. We also can't say enough about the staff at the reception, especially David, our liaison, who listened to our needs and made the whole night go smoothly. Everyone absolutely loved the food, too - we did food stations, and one of the selling points for us was the fun options like sliders and watermelon salad. A final selling point - the nearby rustic barn and field with goats!

I recently got married (July 27) at Plimouth Plantation and it was absolutely amazing. The ceremony took place in the gardens which was in full bloom. For my entrance I came down a set of stairs, down past the guests, and a small fountain. It was beyond beautiful, and breathtaking. The ceremony and reception all took place on Plimouth Plantation which eliminates the need to travel. All the staff we worked with were so accommodating. They were so accommodating with every request I had. The reception took place in the Gainsborough Hall which overlooks a small pond with the ocean in the distance. The food is amazing. We chose food stations, and were able customize some of the food in each station. I would recommend Plimouth Plantation to anyone, it is affordable and the ladies go above and beyond to make your special day amazing!

I can not rave enough about my wedding venue Plimoth Plantation! The coordinators work with you from day one up till the end of the wedding night. They answer emails phone calls efficiently and always supported me throughout the wedding planning. They are very easy to work with and go out of their way to make your special day perfect. I had a blast working with Diane, Erin and Kathleen. They were all professional and very welcoming. They made me feel so special as a customer but more importantly as a bride. The food at the venue is delicious. The chef will work with you if you have guests with any allergies or food restrictions both of which I did. Everyone has raved about the food that night. We had food stations and again everyone was satisfied in the selections and had full. The staff that helps the night of the wedding were all fabulous, fun and professional. The value for the service you get is unbeatable. The night was the best night of our lives and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Everything from food to location to service was fantastic! If you are looking for the best wedding venue look no further than Plimoth Plantation!

Plimoth Plantation and the staff exceeding our expectations on the best day of our lives! We were reviewing our wedding pictures this weekend and they show each perfect moment! The grounds of Plimoth Plantatin were perfect, the food was fantastic and the staff were flawless! Every step of the way - planning our wedding was fun and easy. Our coordinator was organized and always one step ahead. The entire team saw our vision and made it happen with ease. Our guests raved over every detail - including the food and the staff. We appreciated how all of the details came together and created a perfect day.
Thank you to the wedding team at Plimoth Plantation - we are forever greatfull of how you made our day perfect!

We were supposed to get married in the garden, but it rained. We were quickly moved inside and it was beautiful. The food was delicious. The all-in-one pricing made things easy and the Peabody Pavilion had a lovely view.

The hornblower garden for the ceremony was stunning. An absolute dream site to walk down the stone steps leading to the aisle. The reception food was AMAZING! The best wedding/event food I have ever had. Just like being in a fine dining restaurant with food made to order! Location and view were worth the price of admission. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I looked at this venue in 2011 for our wedding which was a year away. At first it seemed like a good idea because the open bar was included and it was pretty affordable as my husband and I were paying for the wedding alone. The garden is beautiful. The view from the pavilion is also very beautiful!
Okay, that's about all the nice things I can say about it. We met with Diane, the functions manager in the winter of 2011, and booked with her in April over a year before our actual wedding. BIG mistake. From the beginning, it seemed it was incredibly hard to get a hold of her. She wouldn't return phone calls, or emails, always saying "the system is down". When we met with her in person, she would say one thing, for instance quote us a price, and then the next time she would say something completely different. It was almost as if she had forgotten that she had already talked to us about something. Stories getting mixed up, prices and what's "included" getting confused...
We brought in my mom to one meeting, and my sister in law to another, to see if maybe we were just getting our wires crossed. They both agreed it seemed she was not exactly focused. We definitely did not feel like any preparation was made for the meetings in person that we would schedule with her.
My now husband is extremely calm and diplomatic, and he sent Diane an email detailing exactly what we had issues with, namely her saying the dance floor was included in the package when we were first looking at the pavilion, and then closer to the date (after the deposit was cashed) saying it was a per square foot cost. There was also an issue because we were going to have to rent chairs (because the standard ones were metal with maroon cushions) and we wanted chivari. She said there would be new chairs, possibly even by our wedding date. But even 6 months away from, she couldn't give us a definite.
The last straw was that her boss was not available to talk to throughout the whole process, as she was on maternity. we asked if there was anyone else we could work with since obviously communication was an issue. But in the end we just had a terrible feeling about the whole place . We decided to move on.
Trust me when I say this place is NOT worth the headache, the drama for the "bargain" price. We just got married a month ago at a great venue, where we felt comfortable and justified in spending our hard earned money. Stay away from Plimoth Plantation!

We were married there this past summer and let me tell you they are amazing!!!
We had our reception in Gainsboro Hall and our ceremony in the courtyard.
We felt like they did a great job with execution of the day!
David our wedding coordinator was AMAZING...just hands down amazing. He contacted us the week before the wedding, asked us to send him detailed photos, lay outs, and designs of what we wanted and he made it happen! During the day of the wedding he was super attentive always asking us if we needed anything- even offering to go to the bar and pick up drinks for the bride and groom! I just cannot say enough amazing things about David.
The appetizers (there was no shortage of them either which we have seen at other weddings), full bar, and dinner food was amazing!!!
The only downside is we felt that Diane the sales rep was a bit hard to get a hold of at times via email (her manager kathleen was very responsive though). We would ask questions a few times in emails and they wouldn't get answered.
I feel that more as a sales role once you sign the contract your left in limbo a bit until your wedding coordinator contacts you a couple weeks prior to the wedding.
I think it might be helpful if they had some sort of a go-to person who is not in sales whom people could email concerning questions about the fine-tune details which would be a good option.
