I met Sarah at my best friend's wedding in 2021 as her day-of coordinator and I knew - even before I was engaged - that I wanted Sarah as my future wedding planner. After getting engaged, the first thing I did was schedule a call with Sarah and the rest is history. It truly takes a village to put on a wedding, and Sarah and her team made my dream wedding a reality. Sarah was quick to respond to my texts/calls/emails (this was HUGE for me), genuinely listened to and cared about all of my (sometimes crazy) ideas, and I felt as if she treated my wedding as if it were her own. Plum and Poppy helped give me the wedding of my dreams and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
We really loved working with Katie on the day of our wedding. She was flexible and always made sure what was happening was what WE wanted. The hard part was communicating with the “main coordinator.” We never even met and was very dry when we had our phone conversations. It would have been great for her to have told us in advance that she wasn’t even going to be the one present on our wedding day and we could have communicated with Katie the entire time instead. Thank you Katie for all your hard work to make our day so special!
Sarah and her team are fantastic. I appreciated that Sarah and I had so much contact. She really guided me through wedding planning. The day of the wedding went off without any problems! I appreciated having a wedding coordinator assigned to me all day. Her team allowed my friends and family and myself enjoy my wedding day.

Long overdue, but I had to recognize Sarah and her incredible team! Plum and Poppy is an amazing full service wedding planning service that I can’t recommend enough. We got married in September after a planned 2 1/2 year engagement and we could not have asked for a better person to work with. She supported us from day 1 of planning helping us every step of the way and keeping us on track even navigating the pandemic in the middle of our planning process. The recommendations she provided based on her experiences were incredibly helpful and she truly helped make the vision for our day come to life seamlessly. Sarah is super professional and very quick to respond to questions and will help with anything and everything she can. When it came to coordinating our other vendors she managed that 100% and set the timeline so we didn’t have to worry about when the DJ or florist was arriving or coordinating with our venue so the week of the wedding there was nothing we had to do except for show up. I can’t thank her and her team enough for everything they did to make our day perfect!! You guys are the best!
First of all, me writing this review 2 months after my wedding really sets the stage for just how much I needed Sarah and how much she did for me during my wedding planning process! I AM OBBSESSED with her and her whole team. I looked for and interviewed a few wedding planners both in Indy and Chicago, and no one was really impressing me until I met Sarah. She was warm, reassuring and I just knew right away she was the person I needed by my side to take care of literally everything... I told this sweet organized soul of hers at our first meeting that "I just want to show up." Yikes for her, but damn did she deliver!!!! She told me what I needed to be doing or thinking about and when - I can't even relate to people who say wedding planning is stressful because with Sarah it was a complete breeze. Not only was my wedding perfect, she is just the best person on the planet. I mean who can deal with brides over and over for a living and execute as flawlessly as she does and still be a freaking gem?!?! Don't even get me started on the day-of ease... I had guests coming to me to compliment how awesome Sarah and her team were at keeping everything going and so seamlessly. I was actually able to enjoy my wedding and quite literally "just showed up!!!" I don't have anything but good things to say about Sarah and Plum & Poppy. If you want to enjoy your wedding and it be a flawlessly executed event... you would be making a mistake by not working with Sarah. 11/10.
Choosing to work with Plum & Poppy was one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding planning process. We can’t thank Sarah enough for all she did for us. From the pre-wedding preparations, to guiding us through a 5 month postponement due to COVID, Sarah was on top of everything and relieved so much of our stress and anxiety. Our two day celebration was condensed to a one day celebration that Sarah and her team seamlessly guided us through. She anticipated our needs throughout the day, and even helped sewn on a button that popped off one of the groomsmen’s shirts! I can’t say enough what a pleasure it was to work with Sarah and her team. We’ll always be grateful for the memories she helped us make!
Plum and Poppy/Sarah Agee is a must have wedding coordinator! If you are able to book Sarah’s availability, do yourself the favor! I couldn’t imagine having the day without her high level of professionalism and attention to detail! Like the other reviews you see, 3500 characters are simply not enough to say how AMAZING the Plum & Poppy team is! Sarah (owner) was beyond detail oriented, thought of things I would not ever thought of, took care of every detail of my wedding day, was in constant contact with me, was beyond responsive, even with the smallest of details I had questions about, P&P was on top of it all. When it came to wedding day, I cannot tell you enough how invaluable Sarah and her team were in set up, managing my nerves, and making my day a true fairy tale day for us and all of our guests. They made the day seamless and absolutely perfect. I went into planning this wedding by myself in the beginning and quickly realized I needed expert help and Plum & Poppy was the perfect fit. Post wedding I am now missing my planning meeting with Sarah lol! But seriously, this is the one and only planner you need for your big day!
Through a rollercoaster of an engagement season (COVID), Sarah made my dream wedding happen!
I truly do no have words for my gratitude for Sarah and her team. From a postponement due to COVID to county regulation changes, Sarah went ABOVE AND BEYOND to not only make our wedding happen, but make it happen how I originally envisioned the day. She is such a calming presence (which trust me - has been much needed during this season!) and knows how to handle every curveball the process brings. She handled vendor changes, last minute supply issues, and my mom's extreme attention to detail like a champ which is a feat in and of itself. Our wedding day was everything I dreamt of and more, and I know that wouldn't have been possible without Sarah. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We cannot speak highly enough of Sarah and the team at Plum & Poppy! BOOK THEM TODAY!! Sarah made our entire wedding planning process smooth, efficient, and so enjoyable for us! From the start, Sarah was professional, encouraging, organized, communicative, helpful, and SO talented at navigating the details. I don’t think 3500 characters will cover what Sarah and her team did for me. As a COVID bride you’d expect endless amounts of stress or sorrows but Sarah made everything so much easier for me, she became a true friend and confidant during a time of uncertainty and fear. Every PIVOT we experienced felt so smooth and she intimately helped me plan three different weddings, including decreasing our headcount from 150 to 50 two weeks before our wedding. I still get emotional thinking about the journey that brought us to our DREAM of a day and it was all thanks to Sarah. She went beyond her typical day of coordinator and I am so grateful for who she is and what care she provides for each of her brides. Thank you so much Sarah!!!
I can’t say enough great things about Sarah! I can’t imagine not having her there on our big day! Our parents loved having her there and felt more at ease because she was there. They said she was worth every penny and would like her to coordinate our siblings’ future weddings! We love Sarah!
Beth with Plum & Poppy was our wedding coordinator, and I cannot thank her enough for her help with our wedding. Hiring her was worth every penny! We moved out of state 3 months before the wedding, and Beth was so helpful in communicating with different vendors, coordinating visits to the venue with vendors, and working with us to develop our day-of timeline. We ended up having a tropical storm the whole day of the wedding, which threw a wrench into a lot of our plans. But Beth took it all in stride and handled all the situations that came up on the wedding day (I’m sure there are issues she took care of that I didn’t even know about). I know our wedding day was the success that it was because of Beth’s help! Thank you so much Beth!
We don’t even know where to start with writing a review for Sarah and her Plum and Poppy team. Living in Australia and planning our wedding in Indiana seemed a ridiculous task, but Sarah honestly made the whole process so much easier. From giving us a Facetime tour of the venue because we were in a different country, to providing us with a list of absolutely incredible vendors, she helped us to stay organised and get everything sorted for the big day. There was no request that was too ridiculous and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy! Her team helped to make the Barn in Zionsville absolutely perfect and exactly what we hoped for, and she consistently made sure we both had everything we needed throughout the entire day (including drink refills when the bar just seemed too far away!) Sarah was a fantastic partner throughout our daughter's wedding planning process! She was patient, reassuring, and conscientious from start to finish as she helped assemble and managed our list of incredible vendors to make our daughter's dream come to life. Sarah is very knowledgeable and knows the industry well which came in handy when choosing vendors. She has the ability to navigate through our daughter's vision, while accommodating the needs of the parents. Throughout the planning process, we were so appreciative of how willingly she accommodated our busy schedules. Lastly, Sarah and the P & P's team ensured that we could truly enjoy the wedding on the day-of without having to worry about a single thing. These ladies are true experts, and we were so blessed to have worked with Sarah and so grateful for all that she did to make the wedding day a beautiful reality!
My wedding absolutely would not have been possible with Sarah. She helped us pull together the most incredible team of vendors and made sure the wedding day went off without a hitch. As the day got closer, and last minute wedding things happened, Sarah was always available and responsive to help me figure out solutions. I moved to California in June so I spent the last three months before the wedding finishing up planning from across the country. I hardly noticed the distance because Sarah made everything so easy. On the actual day of the rehearsal and the wedding, Sarah and her team were there whenever we needed them. They were checking in if we needed things even before we knew to ask for something. I cannot recommend Plum & Poppy highly enough.
We planned our wedding in Indy while living in LA and I can't imagine doing it without Sarah! I found Sarah through The Knot and after reading all the glowing reviews, I knew she'd be the perfect planner to work with for our big day. We booked the wedding coordination package with just seven months until the big day and Sarah was incredibly thorough and detail-oriented from our first phone call. I knew from that first call that I could count on her to pull all the final details together on the day of our wedding. Sarah's also established a solid network of wedding vendors in the Indianapolis area and I was so grateful for her recommendations (floral and pie) since we weren't as familiar with local wedding vendors. My mother-in-law also hired Plum & Poppy to help run our huge rehearsal dinner and we're so glad we had someone from her team there, too!

I can't say enough good things about working with Sarah and her team. My husband and I were planning our wedding from across the country and hit quite a few road bumps with our venue. Fairly close to the wedding, we found ourselves in a position where we needed to bring in an outside coordinator. Luckily for us, Sarah and her team were still available for our wedding day.
She jumped in right away and was extremely responsive - even when she wasn't available, there was always a message letting us know she was at an event and she would get back to us so quickly every time. She took over the coordination of details with all of our vendors, which was a lifesaver so close to the wedding when our heads were exploding with too many details. She had also worked with many of our vendors before and had such a great rapport with all of them - when we mentioned our coordinator, our other vendors had amazing things to say about working with her.
Having her support with the final details leading up to our wedding was such a weight off our shoulders, but having her day-of was probably the best decision we made. Sarah is so calm, organized, and prepared for anything. We had an unexpected day-of vendor change, which she completely handled. We ended up being short a boutonniere and she crafted an extra from our table flowers. Then when someone stepped on my dress and ripped one of my bustles, she pulled me aside and sewed it right back together in 30 seconds.
Because of her, our wedding day was so relaxed and flowed so smoothly. It was the only day I was home that my head wasn't spinning and I'm so thankful she was there to lift the load of that day so we could be fully present and truly immersed in the celebration with our friends and family.

The ladies at Plum and Poppy are amazing! Seeing that I work in the industry, I know how critical a planner is on the big day, so it was a no-brainer for me to hire Sarah and her team to help execute my vision. They were quick to respond to all of my questions, and helpful with suggestions when asked. They made my day as stress-free as possible and I truly couldn’t have imagined having anyone else as part of my wedding day dream team.
I wish I could say that we loved their services, but there were just too many disappointments.
We hired them to help with day of coordination and the design of the wedding venue. HUGE MISTAKE. The seating chart was by far one of the most stressful aspects to our wedding day. I had asked for the diagram well before the big day to ensure that we could fit all guests in the space. To which they reassured this was possible. On 8/11 the rental company showed up, we could NOT fit all guests in there (the way originally laid out by Sarah) and who had to rearrange it…THE BRIDE. I had to redo my entire seating chart the day before my wedding. I just would have hoped that since I had paid for help with the “design” of the wedding that they would have been there to make sure it was OK and being set up the correct way. The day before I had to deal with it, it was very disappointing and stressful.
The florist recommendation. Sarah referred us to a florist, but Sarah never asked about our budget or what we were wanting to spend on the flowers. So, my mom and I took time out of our working day to sit down and talk to a florist for 2 hours! A budget still was never discussed. When we got the quote for the flowers - $4500!!!!! My mom and I had sticker shock. We had planned to spend AT MOST $1000. Sarah did not take the time to get to know what we wanted and most importantly, what our budget was! She made this right by referring a wonderful florist to us and I did appreciate that. I did not appreciate the time wasted when it could have been solved with a simple question, “let’s talk about your budget?”
When my mom saw that we did not get a bar for our bar table and it was just a flat table, she was so upset. She called our day of coordinator and she said she could easily get a bar top table and bring it over. Sarah (the owner) had said that a bar top table was not possible. How does the owner not know what is available from the rental company and one of her employees does? It was upsetting because when you ask for a bar…wouldn’t you want a bar? Not just a plain flat table?
I would not recommend their services to any bride.
When I asked, "is there anything else you need from me?" they always said "don't worry, we'll take care of everything. It will be a perfect day." I loved every aspect of my wedding, except for their services. It was a disappointment to have spent as much money as we did and to have received the service we did. Steer clear. There are many more options out there where the wedding planner will actually remember what you want for your wedding day and actually care.

No words can describe all that Sarah did to make our day absolutely perfect! From start to finish, she was there to help with every detail and calm me down when I was having anxiety about everything coming together the way I wanted. She is PHENOMENAL at what she does. She is able to hear your vision and bring it to life...she has such a talent! I am beyond grateful for having the opportunity to work with her.
SARAH is the best. I did not worry about a thing day of the wedding. If anything went wrong, I have no idea about it because Sarah took care of EVERYTHING. Could not imagine a wedding without a coordinator, Sarah thank you for taking such good care of us and our families!
When it hit me (and my parents) that I’d be planning a wedding in less than 6 months in an unfamiliar city, I knew I’d need someone timely and organized to help. I’m so happy to say that Sarah has been that and so much more. She made herself available to us from the very first email sent. She is both organized and professional, and yet friendly and easy to talk to (even my husband, who only talks sports and science, and my parents agree). Sarah was careful to help my groom and I plan the wedding that we dreamed of, while being able to offer her own unique insight and connections to help us reach the feel that we wanted to. On the day of the wedding, Sarah’s sense of confidence in how the day would go really soothed my nerves. She was both amiable and prepared with everything, including anything that I asked of her the day of. Choosing Plum and Poppy to help plan and coordinate our wedding was by far the best choice we made in planning our wedding day.
Sarah was AMAZING and the best money spent on anything for my wedding. My mom and I reached out to her about 6 months before my wedding date with the original intent to hire her as the day of coordinator. After meeting with Sarah, we quickly realized we needed her assistance right away and ended up hiring her for full planning. She was so organized, knowledgeable, and gave such great advise in that very first meeting. She knew what we should spend time and money on and what we should not focus on. She was quick to put a timeline together and really got us re-focused on everything that was still outstanding. I am the first and only daughter in my family, so my mom and I were walking into the whole planning process blind. We quickly became overwhelmed and were clueless with a lot of things. Sarah took the stress away and made the last few months of planning so easy and smooth. She attended all appointments and was available whenever we needed. She was constantly checking in and always reminding us that everything would be taken care of. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. I had been told by friends and co-workers that the day of would never run smooth and that things would go wrong. I prepped myself the week before to just roll with whatever the day brings. I can honestly say, not one thing went wrong in my eyes. The day ran beautifully and I was able to enjoy every minute of it. My mom and I tend to be control freaks and want to get involved with everything, but that day we both enjoyed ourselves and did not worry about a thing. When I walked into the church and the reception venue, it was exactly how I pictured it to be. Sarah kept my entire (large) crew on schedule and I was able to do everything I wanted to that day. It was honestly a dream! Sarah and her team were super organized, friendly, and so calm. They were the perfect people to be around during such a crazy day. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Sarah for your big day. You will not regret it!!
There aren't enough amazing words to say about Plum & Poppy - specifically Beth McHugh. We brought her in to the process about a month before the wedding, and she was absolutely amazing. I was trying to balance way too much going in to the big day, and Beth completely put myself, my groom and my parents at ease. I didn't have to worry that everything would play out as perfectly as I had imagined. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Sarah and team helped our wedding run flawlessly. There was a major storm approaching our outdoor wedding venue at the exact start time of our ceremony, and Sarah coordinated a major location change so smoothly that people thought we had always intended it to be in the backup location.
In the time leading up to our wedding, Sarah learned our style and vision and helped ensure everyone at the venue was always on the same page. As an event planner by trade, I knew I needed someone with 1) amazing attention to detail that I could fully trust 2) someone who was fun and would make life easier for the bridal party, not more hectic 3) someone who would take on the stresses of the day for me so that I could focus on having a blast with all of those people most important to me --- I firmly believe our day would have been far less carefree and more anxiety-filled if Sarah and her wonderful team hadn't been by our side.
Beth and Sarah were absolutely amazing to work with! As soon as I met them I knew it was a perfect fit. I was planning my wedding from over 600 miles away, and I decided a wedding planner would really help me out. I found Sarah Cooper by browsing online for Indy's best wedding planners and reading the positive reviews. Our first conversation on the phone made me feel she was the right planner for me- very friendly, easy going, yet also very knowledgeable and organized. Her prices were very reasonable for the services she would provide. I decided to hire Sarah for both day of coordination and wedding planning services. It was about 6 months out from the wedding date when I hired Sarah, and right away, she made sure I got on task. Although I had already secured the wedding date, venue (and catering), and dress on my own, I had not yet hired any of my other vendors. Sarah worked with me to quickly book the other vendors I would need within 2 weeks. I was very impressed by how promptly Sarah would respond to my emails and how organized she was. She definitely brought me peace of mind in the months and weeks leading up to my wedding. Sarah was very professional, only providing opinions when specifically asked and not forcing me to choose vendors or services I did not want. I very much valued her feedback and suggestions when I was making various selections (which can get a bit overwhelming) and I appreciated her help with logistical planning that was difficult for me to figure out on my own. As for the day of wedding coordination, I was SO happy I could count on Sarah to ensure the details would fall into place. All I had to do was focus on getting myself ready, not needing to call to confirm vendors would be delivering items on time and such....The day went extremely smooth and the wedding was beautiful and very enjoyable. I absolutely recommend Sarah Cooper as a wedding planner (or event planner...she even helped us coordinate a fabulous rehearsal dinner for a very small additional fee). Hiring Sarah Cooper was definitely one of the best decisions I made for planning my wedding and I highly recommend her!
I used Sarah for day of preparations. She was helpful, welcoming, sensitive to our needs and wants. She made sure everything went according to plan and handled any little hiccups with ease. I never thought I would need a Wedding Planner, but after the wedding day I don't know what I would have done without her, I was crazy to think that!
