We were so excited to book Plus One Event Co. for our wedding day at The Hutton House. Sam is incredibly kind, hard working, professional, and experienced in all things wedding related. Her mission to help customers feel like guests at their own event is the real deal. My husband and I felt incredibly calm and relaxed, knowing that Sam and her team would be there to support us and swiftly resolve any issues that might arise. If you’re looking for an event planner or day of coordinator, I highly recommend hiring the Plus One Event Co. team for your day. Because of them, I was able to relax, be present, and focus on marrying the love of my life.

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Sam was during our wedding process and on our wedding day. She deserves so much credit, this review will not suffice. She went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. Whether she was giving recommendations, listening to concerns, helping my vision come to life, she was incredibly thoughtful, professional, and understanding. Sam's organization and communication skills, with our vendors, family, and friends, helped us feel at ease and confident that we were in good hands. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding week and day! She took care of everything with such love and grace, just as if it was her own wedding. She wanted it perfect for us too. Plus One made our NYE wedding a dream! When I started the wedding planning process I felt overwhelmed and stressed, it's safe to say Sam alleviated all of my worries - from start to finish. Samantha at Plus One Event Co was amazing to work with. We began working with her 18 months before our big day as we had no idea where to start and what to plan with having such a long engagement. She kept us on track, provided us with amazing vendor recommendations, and took care of all communication and coordination leading up to the weeks and days of the wedding. She was organized and provided a detailed Excel spreadsheet to keep track of all our progress, vendors, expenses, and timeline. She was very patient with me as we redid the day of timeline 4-5 times. She moved things around and made helpful recommendations to ensure we could fit everything into a tight timeline with limited daylight hours for photos. She made the wedding planning process so much more enjoyable and ensured we stayed on track with what needed to be done. As for the day of, she went above and beyond all expectations. She coordinated vendors, set up our venue, and ensured everything ran on time. She was the most significant help, and we could not have had the peace of mind and stress-free day that we did without her help. My fiancé was hesitant about getting a wedding planner due to thinking we could do it all on our own. Ladies, after our wedding day, I got the "You were right" on hiring Sam and her team at Plus One Event Co. Sam and her team are simply the best and will work above and beyond to make your day go perfectly.

If I could put 10 stars for Sam, I would. I honestly don't know what we would've done without her and her team on our special day. She is extremely organized and prompt with her timing and follow up with you. When first meeting with Sam about our wedding day I was extremely impressed with her outline of tasks and timeline for me to look at. I would have been lost without her. Day of our wedding went so smooth and everything transitioned so well, I was able to enjoy every second with my husband, family and friends and never had to worry about a thing. Plus One Event Co, and specifically Samantha, have been absolutely incredible to work with during our wedding planning process. My wife had been recommended Plus One and we entrusted Sam with planning, guiding, coordinating, and executing our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She delivered on those expectations above and beyond. Samantha is thorough and thoughtful. During the ideating and planning phases, she was able to give us strong recommendations while consistently hearing out what our exact needs were. We were very intentional and particular about details, and Samantha managed every single one of them. Sam coordinated efficiently and consistently with every vendor and venue, making communications and execution extremely easy on everyone. She provided firm timelines and was clear and confident in all of her feedback. Additionally, Samantha brings an aura of professionalism, savviness and problem-solving that is seriously unmatched. My wife and I were able to enjoy every single second of our wedding day without needing to worry about a single thing that came up. Like I literally have no idea if anything did come up, because guess what, Sam 100p took care of it. We planned a Twin Cities wedding from out of town, which was really scary—we didn't have any way to scope out vendors or venues, or ask for recommendations from friends. Sam put us immediately at ease with her thorough knowledge of all things wedding and connections all over the area. Throughout the process, Sam made sure we had a plan for every detail, listening to us when we had a specific vision and making thoughtful suggestions when we were confused. She asked questions I wouldn't have thought to, and in meetings with our vendors made sure we were really getting our money's worth. When the big day rolled around, we were obviously nervous but felt thoroughly prepared thanks to Sam. Despite the curveballs we threw her (the bride and groom showed up a half hour behind schedule) everything was silky smooth. And while I'm normally very high-strung when hosting an event, running around and checking in on people and logistics, my now-wife and I actually got to relax and enjoy our wedding day without worrying about any of that. Overall, strongly recommend Sam!

Sam was the best ever! We truly felt like guests at our own event. Our wedding vision was brought to life. I’m blown away by how hard Sam worked all day long to make our day so special❤️ She was attentive, patient, and on top of every single detail. I was so glad to have her in my meetings with vendors leading up to the wedding as well. She even responded to my crazy week of wedding emails while on her own honeymoon! I have recommended her to all of my engaged friends & would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Where to even begin to express my appreciation for Sam?!? She literally made the wedding planning experience so much easier! She was always available, had great ideas, kept me organized, and was a huge help finding vendors and coordinating with them. My biggest fear when planning my wedding was getting disorganized and not have a proper way to keep track of everything. I'm an excel lover and pretty tech savvy, however, with wedding planning nothing can prepare you for how to stay on top of everything, well Sam has the tools that worked perfectly for me! AMAZING wedding planner! Sam did such a wonderful job as our month of wedding planner for our September 2022 wedding. We hired Sam after we had most of our other vendors hired because we felt like we needed someone to coordinate the day for us. She was so nice to have the month of the wedding and took care of making sure all our vendors knew what to do/where to be/etc. I would hire her again in a second! She was also so friendly and amazing to have around on the wedding day! Communication was great, and we never had any troubles reaching her. I would strongly recommend Plus One Event Co to any bride or groom that may be looking for a wedding planner!!!

She responded to texts so quick, no matter what time of day. She kept us on track every single month for the entire year of planning with her. She told us what we should focus on and what we could save for later months. 10 STARS, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! What an absolute DREAM to have Sam from Plus One Event Co as our day of coordinator. SHE MADE MY DAY HAPPEN AS PLANNED!! And truly made my wedding day dreams come true!!!! With all the planning we did, it's true, I felt like a guest at my own wedding! From the initial appointment to the monthly meetings, she listened to my ideas and helped me bring them to life. She comes with a heart of gold, experience in the industry(which will help on any/and all decisions), VERY organization(even coming from me who is a Type A bride), incredibly creative and up to date with the trends(LOVED), and VERY responsive and reliable.

Sam at Plus One Event Co. made all of our wedding dreams come true. We booked her for Day-Of coordination, and she went above and beyond. She was meeting with us months before the wedding, helping us work through details we would've never thought of, and managing vendor contact/details. She ran the show both for the rehearsal and the actual wedding. I truly felt like a "guest at my own event" like their slogan says. Every time I remembered something that needed to be done, I looked up to realize Sam already had taken care of it flawlessly. This was the best investment we made for our wedding.

Sam is THE BEST! My husband and I had to replan our entire wedding a month before the big day. I knew we weren’t going to be able to do this without some help and we hired Sam. Sam helped us research new venues, work through and finalize our contract with the new venue, and helped create rehearsal evening and day of timelines. Her quick response and attention to detail is what sets her apart from other vendors- she is on top of every little thing! On the wedding day, Sam handled it all with calmness and ease. She went above and beyond to ensure we didn’t have to worry about any issues that popped up. We were so grateful to have her help and expertise! Our only regret is not hiring her when we first got engaged!

Plus One Event Co was hands down the best investment we made for our wedding! Not only was our wedding during Covid but also a huge snow blizzard. Plus One Event Co took care of all the small details with our vendors before, during and after the wedding. For some, a blizzard could have ruined their day but with Sam as the director of our day I knew I had nothing to worry about. We had a ceremony change, late arrivals and horrible weather and she somehow managed to not break a sweat. Plus One Event Co will make your day better than you could ever imagine. 10/10 recommend Plus One Event Co! Trust me, you NEED them for your big day!

My wife and I were reflecting back on our pandemic wedding of 2020, and we concluded that Plus One Co was perhaps the best decision we made for our wedding celebration. Amidst all the craziness that comes with planning any wedding, we (and by we I mean Sam and my wife), had to constantly reevaluate and replan to pull it all off in epic fashion. Sam was truly the MVP in planning it all, and we could not have realized a better wedding without her. She is not only excellent at all of the typical wedding planning details (e.g. arranging venue meets; organizing the vendors - DJs, caterers and the like), she also addressed the little details that we never knew we needed to address, and managed the unpredictable emergencies/mishaps typical of a wedding day (like the bride forgetting her shoes) while allowing my wife and I to just enjoy the day. She was by far the best investment we made to make the day everything we could have wanted.
