Pondelek's Florist

Jackie at Pondelek's was a pleasure to work with. She loves her work and will make selecting your wedding flowers easy. Her prices were reasonable and her consultations were very thorough. If you are like me and know nothing about flowers, Pondelek's is the place to go!

When searching for a florist for our wedding, we found many through The Knot and scheduled several meetings. We found Pondelek's through our wedding venue as a preferred vendor. Pondelek's was our first of several appointments to find a florist. My grandmother went with us. My grandmother was offended when Jackie asked my pant size, but then when Jackie explained why she asked, my grandmother was very impressed with Jackie's knowledge. We were also very impressed with the arrangements we saw in the fridge that were waiting to be either picked up by someone or delivered to someone. The arrangements we saw while waiting were very pretty and not a lot of greenery or filler. When Jackie stepped out of the meeting briefly, my grandmother said "I don't think you should go meet with any others. Her arrangements are gorgeous and she's very knowledgeable, something that's hard to find with florists nowadays." We followed my grandmother's advice and booked Jackie on the spot, later canceling all the other meetings we had scheduled with other florists. I wanted tiger lillies and amaryllis, and Jackie was not sure if she could get either for March 2021. So she called where the flowers come from and confirmed. She suggested orange lillies since they're similar to tiger lillies. She worked with us to find what flowers looked the best together, would keep us within our budget, and go with our wedding colors. When our flowers arrived on wedding day, I was shocked! They turned out so much better than I envisioned. Everyone that saw my flowers (whether in person or in pictures) commented how beautiful the flowers were and asked who did the flowers. It's been 4 months since the wedding and people are still talking about our flowers. I highly recommend using Pondelek's for your flowers. You will get gorgeous arrangements that hold up for AWHILE, with proper care of course.

Jackie is very good at what she does! She knows her business and she knows it well. She has great opinions and I'm so thankful for her. Our flowers were gorgeous and she took the time to come see me before she set up, which really means a lot!

We met Jackie at a bridal show and loved her immediately. What I really loved about her is that she is very direct, and will tell you things straight up. If you're on a budget and want a certain look, she will work with you to make that work. We can cigar box centerpieces that came out beautiful, and I could not rave more about my bouquet. She did an amazing job, everything was beautiful, and she also was very organized and always made sure to call me if she had a question, or when a deadline was coming up. Would recommend to anyone!!

Jackie did an excellent job. We met Jackie at a wedding expo at the Best Western Hotel. We had a formal elegant wedding. She was very responsive, excellent in her suggestions, and her final products were absolutely wonderful. Pondelek's florist exceeded everything we could have ever imagined. Jackie was extremely organized and accommodating from the beginning stages and continued to exceed all our expectations up to the final moments before I walked down the aisle. I would highly recommend Pondelek's florist to everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everybody loved the flowers. Everything was absolutely stunning!

For my wedding I requested to have sunflower bouquets and centerpieces. I’ve loved sunflowers since I was very young and these were the most gorgeous ones I have ever seen. They were big, bright and beautiful, especially for this time of year. They look amazing in photos and everyone commented on their beauty. They also lasted two weeks!

Pondeleks was amazing. Jackie was able to work with my budget to produce stunning flower arrangements and bouquet. They were very accommodating to my vision. My wedding bouquet and centerpiece arrangements stayed fresh for literally 2 weeks after my wedding so I was able to enjoy them for much longer than I thought. We definitely recommend Pondelek's.

Jackie was great to work with! My husband and I planned a rather short engament (5 months). I went to a bridal show in the Lehigh Valley and no florist would talk to me as my wedding was 2 months away. Jackie was the only florist there to talk to me AND was willing to work with the 2 month time frame. She met with us on two separate occasions to plan out every detail. I didn't have colors in mind and only provided her pictures of inspiration. She went above and beyond ! I literally fell in love with my bouquet as the colors and details were perfect. I had some many wonderful comments about the flowers for the ceremony and dinner. Thank you Jackie !!!!!

Beautiful flowers, from the consultation to the day of Jackie left no detail out. The prices were a little higher but you pay for what you get. The flowers were beautiful and exactly as we had discussed. She is extremely knowledgeable and will help guide you through your planning.

Jackie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very professional and really took the time to work with me to ensure that I had beautiful flower arrangements at my wedding. She easily and happily made special accommodations with floral arrangements, as some of my beloved guests have severe asthma with certain flowers. The day of the wedding, the arrangements and bouquets arrived and looked fresh and full. Jackie herself delivered the arrangements and bouquets, and took the time to explain and show my bridesmaids how to hold the bouquets and make the flowers last all night. I was very pleased with my experience!

Jackie was very efficient through the planning process. However, the alter flowers we originally wanted (lilies) did not open in time for the wedding so they were replaced with roses. I feel they could have been fuller. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the bouquets.

Our wedding day flowers from Pondelek's were amazing and beautiful!! I met with a couple different florist, but after meeting Jackie and seeing a bunch of the floral arrangements, I knew I need to use them as my florist!! Jackie and I are both invested in all the details, big and small, so it was a great partnership between us! The day of the wedding I was in awe of how my vision of the bouquets turned out to be even better in person. Wedding flowers definitely are not cheap, but Pondelek's is well worth spending a little more, but not break the bank. I highly recommend using Pondelek's Florist!!

I was referred to and intended to use another florist entirely, but several months into our collaboration, it became clear we did not work well together and had made little progress. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. In my panic, my maid of honor reminded me how pleased we all were with the centerpieces from my shower, which were from Pondelek's. I called Jackie right away. I am so glad I did. During the course of several lengthy consultations, she took elaborate notes, listened carefully, and showed me examples of blooms, greens, vessels, corsage fasteners, and more. She handled my shortened timeline like it was no sweat, guiding me through what steps I would need to take to help her make my day gorgeous -- little details like pictures of my dress and bridesmaids so she could scale our bouquets to our body sizes, since I'm very tall. She always took the time to gently but honestly point out when I was overlooking a downside (or cost!). And when I dumped my totally unassembled brooch bouquet (not even flowers!) on her desk, her staff created the most stunning realization of my dream. From the floating memorial wreaths I requested to the centerpieces to the nosegays wired to our toasting flutes, our flowers were stunning, but Jackie, if you're reading this, that arched swag on the pergola, over the ceremony, was a TRIUMPH. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. And the roses are still fresh after a week.

I chose Pondelek's almost tentatively after reading some of the reviews but I was not disappointed. Jackie did an incredible job for the flowers for our wedding. We had a tiny budget, and by tiny I mean 600$, and we were only doing flowers for the bridal party (14 people) and the altar pieces. We showed her pictures during the consult and she told us how to make a bouquet that fit our vision and our budget. She even made sample bouquets during the consult to show us what the flowers look like in real life! That was key for me as I don't know many flower names and am a visual person. We booked her last minute; due to my military commitment, most things were planned only a couple short months before and she squeezed us in and worked with our schedule. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL. We did all baby's breadth for the bridesmaids and she even showed us the difference in how many stems to put in. Everything was transparent, she told us what were the Lamborghini's of flowers and what looked just as pretty that we could afford. Everyone loved my bouquet and the flowers looked beautiful in all the pictures. Jackie may have an abrasive personality but I never once felt uncomfortable or treated with anything other than utmost respect. She is so passionate and genuine I'd book her again. She's so detail oriented and the end result was 5 star quality. I'd recommend her to anyone!!!

Working with Jackie at Pondelek's was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Beginning with our consultation, she made everything easy to understand, and was so incredibly thorough. It's really impressive the knowledge and passion Jackie has for flowers. She made sure that we understood everything that we wanted, and then some. On the day of the wedding, she made sure to give us very clear directions on how to handle all of the bouquets and arrangements. My oh my was everything beautiful! My bouquet was still holding strong days after the event. I would recommend Jackie and Pondelek's to anyone! Thank you for helping make our day beautiful!!

Jackie was our saving grace! If i could give 15 stars I would. We had a very short engagement (3 months) and we were thrilled that Jackie was willing to work with us. My flowers were actually where i was trying to save money in comparison to the rest of our budget items and Jackie was a pleasure to work with. After speaking with another local florist who told me to double my budget in order to work with her Jacking was a saving grace. If you are looking to work with the most organized, professional, detail oriented florist that produces fantastic results... pondelek's is the go to! Jackie is a bit detail oriented, which at first was a bit annoying (sorry jackie!) but at the end of the day i did not have to think about anything the day of my wedding. We built a strong relationship in these 3 months and out of all of our wedding vendors she was the one i enjoyed working with the most. They have been in business forever and you can tell. My bouquet and centerpieces were absolutely perfect, exactly what i wanted! USE PONDELEK's!

Jackie was a huge help to us while planning our wedding! She is so knowledgeable and was able to give us a ton of great advice. Even though we don’t know much about flowers, I was very picky about the look I wanted and Jackie nailed it! Pondeleks was even able to accommodate numerous last minute additions to our order. About a week before our wedding, my mom decided to surprise me and order some additional bouquets, boutonnieres, and altar flowers from Pondeleks. Hope was so helpful and accommodating, and in the end they were able to perfectly match all of the additional flowers to the flowers in our original order. Jackie and her crew at Pondeleks really did a great job. We would highly recommend them!

Jackie and her staff created beautiful arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces for my wedding. She was so detail oriented and that really made a huge difference in the outcome of my flowers. I would highly recommend working with Pondelek for your wedding flowers!

The flowers were perfect. Fresh and bright colors. They were delivered on time, where they were supposed to be delivered. Staff was easy to work with and very helpful when a color change was needed.

We were very pleased with our experience working with Pondelek’s for our wedding florals. Jackie is extremely talented and meticulous, she will spend time with you to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want and understand how everything will come together. We also threw them a unique custom request for my toss bouquet, which they hit out of the park! If you’re a perfectionist like me, you will especially appreciate Jackie’s professional and responsive approach - we learned a lot working with her and we’re so glad we chose Pondelek’s for our wedding.

The flowers were beautiful for our wedding day, and turned out better than I had envisioned. The staff at Pondeleks did a great job with our arrangements and bouquets! Jackie was very detail oriented and made sure the flowers were exactly as I wanted. The only negative was that I felt as though Jackie tried to push more services since we didn't want real flowers for the centerpieces and we didn't want corsages. That's just business, though. Jackie did suggest using silk cala lillies rather than real to save me money, and no one could tell, so I really appreciated that. Very happy with our experience!

I had seen beautiful floral arrangements made by Pondelek's years prior to getting married. So when I had the opportunity to pick the flowers for my wedding, I knew I wanted Pondelek's (and specifically, Jackie, the owner of the shop), to do my flowers. After meeting with Jackie, I knew she was knowledgeable and she would be able to produce my vision of a classic wedding look. She was organized, professional, detail-oriented, and was able to give me a very close estimate. She was also able to stay within my budget. She knew exactly what flowers I would need and throughout the entire planning process, was very helpful by communicating with me on various needs that came up. On the day of my wedding, I looked around at my centerpieces and bouquets and were astonished at how they brightened up the room. Jackie herself had come to set up each of these arrangements. The floral arrangements were so beautiful, full, and vibrant that many guests had complimented them throughout the night. My flowers were beautiful, and they lasted well over a week after the wedding.

The only regret from our wedding day is having contracted with Pondelek for our floral needs. Jackie's modus operandi seems to be wowing people at bridal shows and then delivering a signature brand of rudeness once business is contracted. Jackie was incredibly crass, rude, and unpleasant throughout our interactions with her. She refused to disclose pricing until she "calculated" everything as a whole. The process was less transparent than buying a car. Jackie also claimed that lilies were exotic and that certain picks would be unavailable. After dealing with her rudeness, I canceled half our order and had a grocery store fill it. The grocery store produced two magnificent altar bouquets at a fraction of Jackie's price. Yet, the grocery store's quality was ten times better. Days before the wedding, a rude associate called my mother to ask her about dropping off bud vases--an agreement that was prearranged. It was agreed that the vases were to be dropped off in the afternoon. The employee curtly demanded their arrival at 9:00AM. Jackie is a cutthroat, rude, and discourteous owner. I kick myself for working with her, and I tell all my friends in the Lehigh Valley to avoid her establishment.

I found Pondeleks at a local bridal show. The flowers Jackie had with her were beautiful! She mentioned those were 4 weeks old ! I could not believe my eyes. I knew This is my Florist ! When I met with Jackie, she told me I was a bride who knew what I wanted and she could make my "vision" come to life! I was so excited. We discussed an estimate that was with in my budget. When I made the appointment to finilize everything I was shocked when my final price came in way over my orginial estimate. $500.00 over my estimate. She left the room to go and "consult" with her associates. I felt like I was bidding on an item at an auction. When she came back we agreed on a price ... Only with some downscaling that I was not 100% happy with but I had a budget :/ She asked me if I wanted hotdogs or filet mignon for my wedding ? Meaning, I had to spend a bit more to get the "vision" I was looking for. I wanted a huge bouquet of gerber daisies and dark red roses. So, I agreed. However, my dream bouquet was hardly a dream bouquet at all. I carried a sopping wet bouquet! My ribbon was wet, my feathers were wet, and no longer fluffy. Such a disappointment! When I questioned it, I was told to squeeze out the excess water....ok !?! This was normal. Sopping wet flowers and a hysterical mother of the bride picking up her daughters sopping wet bouquet was normal? I paid 250.00 for my bouquet, I did NOT expect it to be sopping wet and heavy! Damp, ok...slightly wet...ok. This was unacceptable. Unfortunately it was 2 hours before my wedding, and what was I to do? So, I Carried a wet bouquet all day! A WET and HEAVY bouquet.....all day! My girls flowers (white gerber and hydrangea) were also hand tied, however the stems of the flowers at the bottom were Brown. Again, unacceptable. The final statement said to me was. "In 22 years she never had another bride complaign about carrying a wet bouquet". As she mentioned before, did I want hotdogs or filet mignon ? Well apparently its clear to me...I paid for filet mignon, but I got hotdogs! Sadly the one vendor I thought was the sure thing (to keep me stress free ) totally back fired. Very Disappointed with the flowers I received, for the price I paid. Even more disappointed I carried a wet heavy bouquet all day. Unfortunately, Pondeleks did not make all my dreams come true. Shop around ladies!

Working with Jackie was a joy. Jackie is so passionate about what she does and executes so well. Jackie is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, making sure that every request is honored. I couldn't be more pleased!

I believed Pondelek's would do a great job after meeting owner Jackie the first time. At our first consultation, she was friendly, knowledgeable and very detail-oriented. She said I had great ideas for my flowers and knew exactly how to make my vision a reality. She gave me a quote, and it fell within my budget. After meeting with other local florists for comparison, I decided to book Pondelek's based on my quote. Once it got closer to my wedding day, we had to meet again to plan all of the details. I brought her a few pictures of what I liked, and we went through each step of my wedding needs. I was really excited about how the flowers were going to look until it came to figuring out the total cost at the end. She knew my budget, but not once during the two hours I was there did she say what I wanted was getting too expensive. My flower choices were very simple (just roses and hydrangeas), too. I had a small bridal party and didn't need church flowers because my church provided them, and the final number she came back with was $1000 over my original quote. No part of my flower needs had changed from our first consultation to then, so I was confused why the price was so much higher. The flowers were important to me, but not worth an extra $1000 in my opinion. She would leave the office and consult with her assistant about the price; I felt like I was at a car dealer because it took two or three times before it came closer to(but still over)my budget. I left the consultation feeling disheartened by the whole experience and a little worried that the quality of my flowers would be sacrificed. Once the wedding day came and I saw my flowers, I was satisfied with how they looked. I really loved my bouquet and the BM's bouquets. The reception flowers were very pretty, but I felt they were on the small side. Jackie's flowers were beautiful but overpriced for what I got. I would still recommend Pondelek's to future brides because the flowers turned out nicely, but if you have a budget you need to stick to, just be cautious about the prices.

I chose Pondeleck’s as our florist after seeing them at a bridal show. Jackie is unbelievably professional and really knows her stuff. Out of all of our vendors, Jackie was easily the most organized and prompt. She was happy to work within my budget while creating arrangements that look way over it. She went above and beyond, arranging every aspect according to my needs.

All the flowers turned out better than expected. We both recommend her services to anyone who needs a top notch florist.

Jackie and the whole staff at Pondeleks were wonderful from day one. Jackie was not afraid to offer suggestions to my original ideas that only heightened the elegance and beauty of our decor. She was meticulous with detail and left nothing untouched with precise design. She was open to new ideas and appreciated our creativity. The center pieces were stunning and incorporated crystals, something she had never done before and was impressed by the creation and asked to purchase them for future brides! The bouquets were gorgeous and her consistent communication with us through the entire process was flawless. She follows through and you truly get the best when working with her!

We had high hopes for our florist as we met her at a bridal show and she had beautiful flowers. We set up a consultation and she was very helpful and had us excited about our flower choices. However - once we paid the deposit were were stuck. From our choices of who carries a bouquet to the elastic band on the grandmother's corsages we were judged every step of the way and prodded into spending more money. We stood our ground and did not give in, however this did not work out in our favor. Our flowers although pricey were underwhelming. Thankfully we had our altar arrangements canceled and purchased them at Giant - they truly were the most beautiful flowers at our wedding. The delivery man although nice forgot the Mother of the Bride and Father of the Bride flowers. When my bridesmaid called to inquire she was at first berated on the phone that she had a order list in front of her - as it turned out the flowers just slipped under the seat in the van - and the driver brought them right away. It is not in a florists best interest to immediately blame the bride when something goes awry on the wedding day... If you can have someone pick up your flowers and deliver them to your venue - spend the time and get more for your money at Giant!

I worked with Jackie to plan the flowers for my wedding. Without doing any centerpieces, our cost came in at a little over $1300. This included 6 bridesmaids bouquets, bride's bouquet, 7 boutonnieres, and two candelabras. Although we spent more than we expected, we found that the quality of work, knowledge about flowers, and quality of flowers themselves far exceeded other florists in the Lehigh Valley. We interviewed about six florists and chose Pondelek's. The only snag was that we were promised table top candelabras so we could convert the floor stands to table tops. At the last minute we learned they were double booked. This did not affect our plan at all, we just used the floor stands all night.

I had a great experience with this florist. I advised her of my budget, and she helped me design the perfect centerpieces, bouquets, and corsages to fit within the budget. She did an amazing job and there were no problems with delivery, etc.

We chose Pondelek's Florist for our wedding day flowers because of how impressed we were at the bouquet designs and we were not disappointed. Jackie and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. I greatly appreciated the fact that she worked within our budget, provided us with a spot-on quote at our initial consultation, and was so well-organized and thorough. I gave the staff my 'vision' of the bouquets, centerpieces, etc. as far as colors and flowers, but to see the end results were just amazing! It turned out even better than I had imagined. The flowers were so beautiful and after 3 weeks with my bouquet in the refrigerator, it still looks perfect. I would absolutely recommend this florist for weddings, gifts, and flowers for any occasion

Jackie helped us numerous times throughout the planning process to make sure we got the most for our budget and explained everything in detail so that we knew exactly what we would be getting the day of our wedding. She even showed us real life arrangements for other people’s weddings rather than samples from a book. The day of our wedding, when I got to the hotel, I was awestruck by the flowers. The bouquets and flower arrangements that the staff created were absolutely stunning and looked so vibrant and fresh in all our photos!

Jackie is absolutely amazing! She is a true artist at what she does. My husband and I, as well as all of our guests were completely blown away with the flower arrangements she did for our wedding. All the flowers were fresh and beautiful. No wilted flowers here. She is such a perfectionist and I knew after our first consultation that I would have nothing to worry about. This is someone who truely cares about your event and will go above and beyond to make sure it is everything you hope it will be.

Pondelek's was so so amazing!! I didn't know much about flowers going into my wedding, but I didn't need to with going to Pondelek's! Jackie and her team are so knowledgeable that it blew my mind! I would just have to give a tiny description of what I was thinking, and Jackie was able to take it to a whole other level!! Her no-nonsense approach gave me so much confidence that flowers were not going to be a problem, it was worth every single penny! Jackie was even great when I decided to make a few last minute changes a couple weeks before my wedding! They just smiled and said no problem!! And the flowers turned out so much better than I had imagined! I knew they would be good, but these were GREAT!!! They were the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen and not just because they were for my wedding!! They truly were works of art!! We got compliments all night about them! I asked Jackie to add some flowers to our wedding cake and that she could do whatever she wanted - I trusted her and her vision. I remember when I saw the cake for the first time I almost cried because of how beautiful she made the cake look! Pondelek's was able to give me everything I wanted at the price I wanted. They were absolutely wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Jackie is the best at helping you pick out flowers when you don't know exactly what you want. She is also wonderful at decorating your location.

Jackie does amazing work and was very helpful throughout the process. The flower arrangements and bouquets turned out beautiful. My guests were commenting on how gorgeous all the flowers looked on my wedding day!

I absolutely loved my flowers! Going into my first consultation, I really did not know what I wanted and I really did not know much about flowers. The owner (who takes care of all the brides) was so great with helping me decide what I wanted by taking me into the back and putting a couple of bouquets together for me.

The flowers we got were truly amazing and looks beautiful however when we went for our original quote meeting we had flowers on all tables. When we got the quote we decided we needed to cut some things out. At our final appointment where we meet to make final choices we cut out 10 tables of flowers and our price was still the same when it came down to it and we did not change much. We also were given a due date for final payment on a sunday and since they were closed we couldnt get it to them that day. They called me 3 days prior to final payment and were not friendly when we did turn in payment that monday since they were closed. I would sue her again but with hesitation. Her flowers and arrangements were truly beautiful- she will not give you something that is crappy or not at a high expectation ( our one set of flowers that came in were garbage and she called and asked to change for something else which were just as gorgeous).

We used Pondeleks at our wedding and our flowers were beautiful. We had a combination of both high and low centerpieces which broke up the room nicely. We had 3 choices of vases to use and rent the day of. Flowers were delivered to my house with our bouquets and then to the ceremony site. Only glitch, was the week of the wedding I got a call that a particular flower I requested came in purple instead of pink. Because I don't live in the area I was unable to go to the store and see this purple flower in person. Everything worked out fine and they used a different pink flower than planned but everything looked great!

They take an idea and make it perfect! My entire family and several of my friends have gone through her for their weddings, in fact they are the florist we go to for everything. She is meticulous and so is her staff. We were anything but simple in our floral request and they made it more beautiful that I could have hoped for.

Though a little on the expensive side, Pondelek's is worth the investment if flowers are an important part of your wedding day like they were for me. The owner was the only florist in the area that really understood what I was trying to go for with my centerpieces. Our flowers were gorgeous and they arrived on time with no problems. Pondelek's makes absolutely stunning flower arrangements.;The woman who does weddings (who is also the owner) can be a little impatient and impersonal. She is great at what she does but her customer service skills are lacking. If you can get past this and trust her to do a good job it's worth it.
