ackie has for flowers. She made sure that we understood everything that we wanted, and then some. On the day of the wedding, she made sure to give us very clear directions on how to handle all of the bouquets and arrangements. My oh my was everything beautiful! My bouquet was still holding strong days after the event. I would recommend Jackie and Pondelek's to anyone! Thank you for helping make our day beautiful!!

he rest of our budget items and Jackie was a pleasure to work with. After speaking with another local florist who told me to double my budget in order to work with her Jacking was a saving grace. If you are looking to work with the most organized, professional, detail oriented florist that produces fantastic results... pondelek's is the go to! Jackie is a bit detail oriented, which at first was a bit annoying (sorry jackie!) but at the end of the day i did not have to think about anything the day of my wedding. We built a strong relationship in these 3 months and out of all of our wedding vendors she was the one i enjoyed working with the most. They have been in business forever and you can tell. My bouquet and centerpieces were absolutely perfect, exactly what i wanted! USE PONDELEK's!

About a week before our wedding, my mom decided to surprise me and order some additional bouquets, boutonnieres, and altar flowers from Pondeleks. Hope was so helpful and accommodating, and in the end they were able to perfectly match all of the additional flowers to the flowers in our original order. Jackie and her crew at Pondeleks really did a great job. We would highly recommend them!

wanted. The only negative was that I felt as though Jackie tried to push more services since we didn't want real flowers for the centerpieces and we didn't want corsages. That's just business, though. Jackie did suggest using silk cala lillies rather than real to save me money, and no one could tell, so I really appreciated that. Very happy with our experience!

She was organized, professional, detail-oriented, and was able to give me a very close estimate. She was also able to stay within my budget. She knew exactly what flowers I would need and throughout the entire planning process, was very helpful by communicating with me on various needs that came up. On the day of my wedding, I looked around at my centerpieces and bouquets and were astonished at how they brightened up the room. Jackie herself had come to set up each of these arrangements. The floral arrangements were so beautiful, full, and vibrant that many guests had complimented them throughout the night. My flowers were beautiful, and they lasted well over a week after the wedding.

Jackie was incredibly crass, rude, and unpleasant throughout our interactions with her. She refused to disclose pricing until she "calculated" everything as a whole. The process was less transparent than buying a car. Jackie also claimed that lilies were exotic and that certain picks would be unavailable. After dealing with her rudeness, I canceled half our order and had a grocery store fill it. The grocery store produced two magnificent altar bouquets at a fraction of Jackie's price. Yet, the grocery store's quality was ten times better. Days before the wedding, a rude associate called my mother to ask her about dropping off bud vases--an agreement that was prearranged. It was agreed that the vases were to be dropped off in the afternoon. The employee curtly demanded their arrival at 9:00AM. Jackie is a cutthroat, rude, and discourteous owner. I kick myself for working with her, and I tell all my friends in the Lehigh Valley to avoid her establishment.

When I made the appointment to finilize everything I was shocked when my final price came in way over my orginial estimate. $500.00 over my estimate. She left the room to go and "consult" with her associates. I felt like I was bidding on an item at an auction. When she came back we agreed on a price ... Only with some downscaling that I was not 100% happy with but I had a budget :/ She asked me if I wanted hotdogs or filet mignon for my wedding ? Meaning, I had to spend a bit more to get the "vision" I was looking for. I wanted a huge bouquet of gerber daisies and dark red roses. So, I agreed. However, my dream bouquet was hardly a dream bouquet at all. I carried a sopping wet bouquet! My ribbon was wet, my feathers were wet, and no longer fluffy. Such a disappointment! When I questioned it, I was told to squeeze out the excess water....ok !?! This was normal. Sopping wet flowers and a hysterical mother of the bride picking up her daughters sopping wet bouquet was normal? I paid 250.00 for my bouquet, I did NOT expect it to be sopping wet and heavy! Damp, ok...slightly wet...ok. This was unacceptable. Unfortunately it was 2 hours before my wedding, and what was I to do? So, I Carried a wet bouquet all day! A WET and HEAVY bouquet.....all day! My girls flowers (white gerber and hydrangea) were also hand tied, however the stems of the flowers at the bottom were Brown. Again, unacceptable. The final statement said to me was. "In 22 years she never had another bride complaign about carrying a wet bouquet". As she mentioned before, did I want hotdogs or filet mignon ? Well apparently its clear to me...I paid for filet mignon, but I got hotdogs! Sadly the one vendor I thought was the sure thing (to keep me stress free ) totally back fired. Very Disappointed with the flowers I received, for the price I paid. Even more disappointed I carried a wet heavy bouquet all day. Unfortunately, Pondeleks did not make all my dreams come true. Shop around ladies!

Once it got closer to my wedding day, we had to meet again to plan all of the details. I brought her a few pictures of what I liked, and we went through each step of my wedding needs. I was really excited about how the flowers were going to look until it came to figuring out the total cost at the end. She knew my budget, but not once during the two hours I was there did she say what I wanted was getting too expensive. My flower choices were very simple (just roses and hydrangeas), too. I had a small bridal party and didn't need church flowers because my church provided them, and the final number she came back with was $1000 over my original quote. No part of my flower needs had changed from our first consultation to then, so I was confused why the price was so much higher. The flowers were important to me, but not worth an extra $1000 in my opinion. She would leave the office and consult with her assistant about the price; I felt like I was at a car dealer because it took two or three times before it came closer to(but still over)my budget. I left the consultation feeling disheartened by the whole experience and a little worried that the quality of my flowers would be sacrificed. Once the wedding day came and I saw my flowers, I was satisfied with how they looked. I really loved my bouquet and the BM's bouquets. The reception flowers were very pretty, but I felt they were on the small side. Jackie's flowers were beautiful but overpriced for what I got. I would still recommend Pondelek's to future brides because the flowers turned out nicely, but if you have a budget you need to stick to, just be cautious about the prices.

We stood our ground and did not give in, however this did not work out in our favor. Our flowers although pricey were underwhelming. Thankfully we had our altar arrangements canceled and purchased them at Giant - they truly were the most beautiful flowers at our wedding. The delivery man although nice forgot the Mother of the Bride and Father of the Bride flowers. When my bridesmaid called to inquire she was at first berated on the phone that she had a order list in front of her - as it turned out the flowers just slipped under the seat in the van - and the driver brought them right away. It is not in a florists best interest to immediately blame the bride when something goes awry on the wedding day... If you can have someone pick up your flowers and deliver them to your venue - spend the time and get more for your money at Giant!

nt more than we expected, we found that the quality of work, knowledge about flowers, and quality of flowers themselves far exceeded other florists in the Lehigh Valley. We interviewed about six florists and chose Pondelek's. The only snag was that we were promised table top candelabras so we could convert the floor stands to table tops. At the last minute we learned they were double booked. This did not affect our plan at all, we just used the floor stands all night.

e arrangements for other people’s weddings rather than samples from a book. The day of our wedding, when I got to the hotel, I was awestruck by the flowers. The bouquets and flower arrangements that the staff created were absolutely stunning and looked so vibrant and fresh in all our photos!

lted flowers here. She is such a perfectionist and I knew after our first consultation that I would have nothing to worry about. This is someone who truely cares about your event and will go above and beyond to make sure it is everything you hope it will be.

Her no-nonsense approach gave me so much confidence that flowers were not going to be a problem, it was worth every single penny! Jackie was even great when I decided to make a few last minute changes a couple weeks before my wedding! They just smiled and said no problem!! And the flowers turned out so much better than I had imagined! I knew they would be good, but these were GREAT!!! They were the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen and not just because they were for my wedding!! They truly were works of art!! We got compliments all night about them! I asked Jackie to add some flowers to our wedding cake and that she could do whatever she wanted - I trusted her and her vision. I remember when I saw the cake for the first time I almost cried because of how beautiful she made the cake look! Pondelek's was able to give me everything I wanted at the price I wanted. They were absolutely wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!!

t to make final choices we cut out 10 tables of flowers and our price was still the same when it came down to it and we did not change much. We also were given a due date for final payment on a sunday and since they were closed we couldnt get it to them that day. They called me 3 days prior to final payment and were not friendly when we did turn in payment that monday since they were closed. I would sue her again but with hesitation. Her flowers and arrangements were truly beautiful- she will not give you something that is crappy or not at a high expectation ( our one set of flowers that came in were garbage and she called and asked to change for something else which were just as gorgeous).

Because I don't live in the area I was unable to go to the store and see this purple flower in person. Everything worked out fine and they used a different pink flower than planned but everything looked great!

Two days before the wedding, while we were busy hosting out-of-town guests, Jackie called to tell me that the lilies I was using were not good quality and that I had to use daisies instead. Daisies instead of lilies??? That would have ruined the theme of our tropical wedding, not to mention the price difference. I understand that flowers are unpredictable. But there had to have been other options. Rather than help me to find those options, she told me that I had no other choice. I kept asking her what else we could do, and she said “nothing.” I did not need that stress two days before the wedding. I insisted we use the poor quality flowers anyway. After calling her back several times to discuss options, she became extremely rude. I had my husband talk to her, and after he tried to pursue other options, she got very rude with him and hung up on him (he is less patient than I am, but honestly, she should understand that we were both under a lot of stress, that we’re the customers, and that she could have approached this differently and not gotten us upset - we were very reasonable with her). He called back and she refused to speak with him. After the amount of money we paid them, this was totally unacceptable. On the day of the wedding, about half of the lilies, maybe less, were unopened, but when she mixed them with the opened ones, they looked great and no one knew the difference. I’m glad she told me about them, but she made it sound like my flowers were totally ruined and I had no choice but to use the daisies. However, the other flowers were not what I expected. All but the mother of the bride and groom corsages never arrived. Nearly $300 worth of flowers just didn’t show up, and in all of our pictures, only 2 of our VIPs has flowers. (After calling to find out what happened to the corsages, we of course got nowhere. They tried to blame it on the reception coordinator but we know for a fact that was a lie.) The flower for my hair came uncut and unarranged – my bridesmaid had to do it for me. The bouquets had loops of grass sticking out like spikes, when the grass was supposed to wrap around the bouquet making it more round. It looked weird but we didn’t want to touch it and make it look worse. Our altar arrangement, which we also used for a table centerpiece was brown and wilted on one side. We also asked Jackie to tack down the aisle runner, which we ordered from her, so that it wouldn’t move when people walked on it. She agreed but on the day of the wedding, it was not tacked down at all, and in our pictures, it’s off-center. Good thing no one tripped on it. Looking back, the one thing I regret about our wedding day was using Pondelek’s florist. Everything else was perfect. I can imagine they do a great job for some weddings since they are talented in their designs. But I wouldn't risk what happened to us. Don't ever give these people your business.
