Poppy Flowers

One of the most important components to me for our wedding was the flowers. I chose Poppy Flowers because of the look I wanted for the ceremony and reception and with the lower minimum cost required compared to other florists. We went with a pastel theme given we had a spring wedding. I had countless complements on the centerpieces at the reception – they were gorgeous. They were the perfect match for elegant look I wanted. My bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere were also beautiful and what we were expecting. The website was a little glitchy for me in a couple of instances (the IT people had to address the issues) – hopefully they have all of those issues resolved now. Aside from those minor issues, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Poppy. Thank you for providing the gorgeous flowers for our day!

I had a great experience overall with Poppy! I was a bit nervous with a bigger company and not coordinating directly with the florist - but they were communicative and helpful throughout. For some, it may be a bit nerve wracking not to speak with the exact florist beforehand so that's something to consider - but otherwise I felt very listened to and supported in my vision and was extremely happy with the way everything turned out on the day. Comparing the costs of other options, I thought it was a really great value and recommend!

Booking with a larger company was a little nerve-wracking, but overall went well! I felt like I had less visibility into what my flowers would look like day of since I didn’t work directly with the florist, but the customer service was good as were pricing and the final floral output. No regrets here!

Poppy flowers was great! We were matched with a floral designer, who was was transparent through the entire process and we had meetings leading up to our wedding to discuss colors and designed! The day of was seamless. The flowers arrived on time and were GORGEOUS! I was truly blown away at how they matched everything I wanted. I was not super picky in our meetings and do not know a lot about types of flowers, their peak seasons, etc. but Poppy Flowers was great in sharing that advice, recommending what was best for my October wedding, and delivered gorgeous bouquets, clouds, and table settings. Highly recommend them!

Michelle, my floral consultant, was easy to work with and quick to respond to my various questions! She was able to guide me to choose the perfect flowers based on my vision and wedding colors. Donna, the floral designer, went above and beyond and did an AMAZING job. She even added extra flowers to the arrangements from her flower farm and made an extra bouquet for the bouquet toss! Poppy's online portal is transparent with their pricing and easy to select based on preference, color scheme, etc.. It's noteworthy that Poppy does not have an exclusivity rule, we were able to pick and choose our selections from Poppy for the ceremony and cocktail hour and bring our own centerpieces for the reception tables. Poppy was an amazing find and I would 10/10 recommend!

I loved Poppy!! They were so wonderful and helpful! I was so intimidated about choosing my flowers and they spent so much time talking to me and guiding me through the decision. I was so so so happy with how they turned out!! They got me blue hydrangeas in September - what a miracle!! I don't know who they did that. My whole wedding looked like a fairy tale thanks to them!! 10/10 would recommend! And the price was so affordable compared to other flower companies I looked at. Can't recommend highly enough!

Working with Poppy for the flowers for our wedding was the perfect decision for us! The entire process was smooth and low maintenance and we ended up with absolutely gorgeous flowers! During the planning process our coordinator Lisa worked with us to ensure our loose vision would come to life and as the wedding got closer she was flexible with a couple of small changes surrounding numbers as we had some changes within the wedding party. On the day of, we were absolutely overjoyed to see the finished product-- they were perfect! The color palette that we had suggested and the hints of specific flowers that we requested came together wonderfully. We got so many compliments on the florals that we had throughout the night.

I really enjoyed the process with Poppy! This is a great option for folks who have phone anxiety, the entire process is done online! They give you example bouquets that you can choose from and specify what colors and types of flowers you'd like. For me, I knew I wanted asymmetrical, whimsical/romantic vibe, and the specific colors. I was able to upload pictures of example bouquets from my pinterest to further communicate my vision. It was so fun to just add things to my cart and if I had any questions, my consultant Sophia was very responsive and even worked with me to give me a lower price for Junior Bridesmaid bouquets (even though it wasn't an option to add to my cart) that were slightly smaller than the regular bridesmaid bouquets. I was so insanely happy with how everything turned out, and the price was about average -- definitely not overpriced (In my opinion). Also, they are very upfront with their pricing which is something that you won't really get from many vendors. 10/10 would recommend going with this vendor. Professional. Timely. Willing to work with you.

The flowers looked absolutely stunning on the day of. I felt like I could really customize my experience, especially because I didn't need very many flowers. The only reason that I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was a little disappointed with my center piece flowers. For the amount that we paid, I was surprised that instead of fuller baby's breath clusters, there were a few sprigs. While it looked fine, I was just disappointed that it didn't match the pricing. However, Poppy did a great job of responding - particularly my floral consultant, Melody. It was a little confusing at times when there were changes in my consultant, but didn't impact my final ordering since I had a lot of time before my wedding.

This is an absolute must if you are a bride wanting all real florals but on a budget! Every where I went the quotes were outrageous for just bouquets and boutonnieres and a single arch. With Poppy I got all my bouquets, 2 arch pieces, center pieces, corsages and filler single florals for basically 1/3 of the prices. The florals were absolutely stunning! They had the best customer service. Very informative and accommodating. I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of our wedding. They took the time to work with me for what I wanted and executed the vision better than I could have imagined. I will always recommend this place!

Amazing and affordable!! Was so sad looking at flowers because they were all above the budget- poppy flowers had reasonable prices that actually worked with us and still looked beautiful. You end up custom making your bouquets and everything else that you could possible need. They were delivered on time and were fresh and beautiful. 10/10 recommend!

When I first started looking for a florist, I was super overwhelmed. The prices were much higher than I was expecting and I felt like I was doing the bare minimum on flowers. I then found Poppy and their prices were much more reasonable. The process is a little confusing, but they are there to setup calls to help set everything straight. My flowers ended up looking great day of and I saved a ton of money too! I would definitely recommend them!

The florals were excellent and exactly what we had worked with our florists on. The quality of flowers and our day of florist were both incredible and helped make our wedding vision come to life! Our bouquets, the bridal Party, and bud vases at tables were all perfect!

Pretty disappointed overall. My initial floral designer left and had a substitute brought in and then my last meeting was with someone new again. I clarified my colors a month before and although they said that wouldn’t be a problem, they did not end up doing so. Stated I did not want cream colored flowers majority white and they ended up being all cream. Bouquets were very small, could barely tell the difference between the brides and bridesmaids bouquets. All the bouquets looked very different as well, some barely had any of the coral color and others had more. The flowers still did the job and I’m very laid back so it was fine but I wouldn’t recommend or use in the future. Difficult to communicate with.

I had no idea what to expect from a flower company that wasn't necessarily ONLY local, because they ship flowers which makes them a bit less expensive than the competition, but after expressing interest, having a meeting with my florist over Zoom, navigating the very easy to use website to pick my flowers for each section of my special day and then seeing the flowers on the day of was honestly one of my very favorite parts of my wedding. Thank you to the Poppy team for being reliable and trustworthy, getting to the venue as soon as you could and making my day so very special!

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about working with Poppy Flowers. The entire process was easy, efficient, and the floral managers were so proactive and helpful. Mary, Clarissa, and florist Jillian delivered on exactly what I was hoping for, and my girls' bouquets still look great 4 days later! The whole team at Poppy Flowers was amazing from the initial consultation call to after the wedding. They worked closely with my husband and I to make sure that they understood our vision and executed it perfectly. Our event designer arrived on site right on time and immediately began to work on our elaborate arches for the ceremony. She worked closely with our day of coordinator to ensure that everything was exactly to plan, and delivered our bridesmaid and bridal bouquets right to the bridal suite. Just recently got married late June and we decided to go with Poppy. The name alone is what caught my eye. It immediately stood out above the rest. The Quality & care put into the selection and arrangements is unmatched! Absolutely stunning! From every flower to every little piece of baby's-breath. They all kept a very long time as well. When we returned from Honeymoon, majority were still salvageable. This was a nice little extra. This way he and I were able to enjoy their beauty a bit longer. Especially since during the wedding we were so busy being social butterflies, we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to soak it all in. I would use Poppy again for any floral needs & highly recommend without hesitation. LOVE this shop!

I had a really great experience working with Poppy! At first, I was apprehensive since a lot of the initial steps are through their online portal. However, I found it super easy to navigate and you definitely get a lot of human interactions before your big day to make you feel more at ease about your choices. When you are first looking into their floral design, you have plenty of pre-listed options on their website to narrow down the design you are looking for. Then, you are able to upload some inspirations photos and comments throughout the portal, so the team makes personalized suggestions to you based on your needs. You then meet with a consultant over the phone before you have to finalize any choices, and they were super are really helpful and knowledgeable. You can connect with your main consultant/ floral manager at any time during this process, and you have plenty of time to add additional services throughout the process. The floral company they paired with to make my arrangements did a beautiful job! She made huge floral arrangements for both sides of my standing archway, she made a very full and beautiful bridal bouquet in exactly the colors I wanted, my husband's very classic boutonniere, and she also did floral work on all the reception tables/ throughout the venue. Everything was beautiful and the florist was super helpful with set up day of the ceremony.

Poppy was incredible to work with from start to finish! Booking a florist was such a hard process as it truly felt like a black box and I had no idea what costs would actually look like. Poppy is so transparent with their pricing and it was so easy to select based on preference, color scheme/aesthetic, and budget! The flowers on the day of were absolutely stunning and I am still not over my perfect calla lily bridal bouquet.

Flowers were supposedly a little late upon delivery for the first location. In addition, bridal party stems were way too long which were difficult to hide in pictures. The colors and combo of different flowers were good though. FYI it’s not until the very last month until you hear from them about final details. I was kind of nervous months before, as I didn’t know if they had my vision documented but they did deliver and the reception / ceremony flowers blew my expectations away (thank you, Francesca). If you want to be hand held months before your wedding, you’d better off paying a premium via local florist/designer. For me, flowers were not the highest priority of mine. I did end up going way over budget but it was worth it and I’d still do Poppy again if I had to redo it all over again.

The flowers and the service were great. My only issue is the flowers on the corsages and hair combs (which were lovely) came un-attached

Overall, we were extremely happy with Poppy. We had a naturally beautiful venue in the mountains so we knew we didn't need (or want) too many flowers. We focused on simplicity and more greenery. We really liked the option to build your "cart" with exactly what you need, and no minimum spend. Other florists had $5K-$10K minimums and we didn't need to spend that amount of money. The process was easy--meeting with your design consultant to help you narrow in the style, colors, etc. The one small issue I had was that my larger arrangements included a lot of roses when I mentioned that they were not my favorite. I think this can be avoided as long as you are very communicative about certain flowers you like/don't like (if you have an idea). Otherwise, everything about the process was easy and day of went perfectly smooth with local on-site specialist. I think Poppy is an amazing option and I would choose them again!

We found Poppy online when looking for a wedding florist and we were very pleased with their services. Michelle was always pleasant, accessible, easy to deal with, and really thorough. We interacted with Wendi too who was equally responsive and thorough leading up to the event. Poppy also had a user-friendly portal that highlighted all of the particular details they’d need to function at their highest level, which helped us narrow down what mattered most for them. Even with the foregoing, I don’t think we ever met anyone from Poppy in person on the day of, although that seemed less important because of how great the floral presentation came out and how experienced and efficient they were in their domain. Highly recommend.

Do NOT use Poppy! My wedding was last week and the flowers looked absolutely terrible, and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I got my “sneak peak” pictures from my photographer, and I can’t even enjoy them because the flowers looked so awful. They rope you in by having someone reach out to you about your ideas for flowers and as soon as you pay them, you never hear from them again. I was so stressed out about the flowers. My mom thought we could go to a store the day of and make our own arrangements, but I told her that my husband and I really wanted them to be beautiful - more than anything else in the wedding. Their arrangements could not have been more terrible. Like I said, once you pay them, they don’t care about you at all. I received one email a week or so before the wedding confirming details and asking if I wanted to make any changes. I emailed them back immediately and told them that I no longer needed a boutonnière and asked if we could have flower petals instead. They sent me back a very mean email and said I couldn’t make any changes. I responded and said again that I didn’t need a boutonnière and that no one would be wearing it so they didn’t have to create one just for us to have to throw away. Then I got a very mean email back (in which they spelled my name wrong) saying there was nothing to be done and if there were any scrap rose petals, they would give them to me. I never heard from them again. There was no contact on the day of my wedding - I didn’t even know if they had shown up or not. They didn’t give us “scrap rose petals,” so my wedding planner went and picked wild flowers to use. And we did receive a boutonnière that no one wore. I didn’t know they had come with the flowers until I asked my wedding planner. And, above all - the flowers looked TERRIBLE. It was so disappointing and humiliating to have guests/family/the wedding planner/the women who own the venue to ask why they looked so bad. They were wilted, and the arrangement was awful! I can’t believe we paid so much money just to be treated poorly and have the worst flowers possible. I look at the wedding photos and all I can think of is how bad the flowers looked. My husband and I love flowers and trusted “an expert” to help us, but this couldn’t have been a worse experience. I am absolutely mortified that this is how everything turned out, and I’ll forever be devastated when I look at my wedding photos. However, I will say this - I reached out to them telling them how embarrassing it was to have everyone notice these poorly designed, droopy flowers and how upset I was. They asked for photos and I sent them some. They acknowledged that the flowers looked bad, and refunded me the money for the arch (about $250 out of nearly $2,000). The woman I spoke with was nicer and I was glad to know they saw it as poorly done as everyone else did and at least refunded one thing, rather than become defensive and send me another rude email. But, please please please don’t use them. It’s such a scam. I have never written a review before, but I really hope this gets through to other brides-to-be. This could not have been a worse experience, and I hope no one else ever has to deal with this! My “perfect day” was ruined by their flowers. Do NOT use them! And if anything, go to the store and buy and decorate your own flowers! Anything would’ve been better than what happened to us. I really hope you all see this and know how disappointing it was. Go anywhere else but here!!

This service was exactly what we were looking for. The a la carte style floral selection allowed us to choose the style of florals we wanted, with the flexibility to choose our budget and price point. It also allowed me to do a little DIY myself, which I wanted to do, with the reassurance that the main parts of our florals would be handled and executed by professionals. With their low minimum requirement, this means that anyone is able to access this service, which is wonderful. The ability to virtually choose what we wanted, and what we were able to spend, took some of the awkwardness away. The communication with staff was wonderful, and when requested, we were able to have initial meetings & final meetings which was very reassuring, given the virtual nature of this service. Everything arrived on time and was set up beautifully. I would seriously recommend this to anyone.

I happened upon Poppy online when looking for a budget-friendly option for wedding florals. Since our venue was surrounded by gardens already, I wanted simple bud vases / bouquets with wildflowers in a color palette that would match my bridesmaids' dresses and include other jewel tones. The process was incredibly smooth from start to end, and when I got to the venue and saw my flowers for the first time, I was absolutely floored. They were even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. I met the local florist who provided them, and she was lovely and did such an incredible job. The Poppy specialist I worked with was also very helpful and knowledgeable, and spent two sessions on Zoom with me making sure we had all the details correct. In the end, I was able to stick close to my budget and spent half of what seems like the minimum is to work directly with a florist. I can't recommend Poppy enough!

I was absolutely in love with the floral arrangements Poppy created for my wedding. My main flower, Sunflower, was prominently displayed in all the arrangements just how I wanted, and they selected gorgeous flowers to compliment everything. The colors were vibrant and the flowers held up through the whole day, even my bouquet which was outside in the Texas summer heat for quite awhile. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars and not 5 is I was pretty anxious throughout the design process as you don’t get to speak with the actual florist or see any previews of your arrangements until they deliver them to your wedding. It’s very much a trust the process type of place. But it all worked out in the end and everyone I spoke with was friendly. Also for the quality and amount of florals I had at my wedding this was very reasonably priced compared to other florists I spoke with. I would use Poppy again.

We loved poppy. We had a short amount of time between when we could get into our venue and when we had to start the ceremony and they made sure it was all ready to go! The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and people kept asking where we had gotten them from. It was a super simple process and I would 1000% recommend Poppy to a friend!

Poppy has a great online platform that was easy to use and my consultant was always quick to reply when I had questions. Meeting with my consultant live allowed me to ensure my vision was clearly conveyed and gave me confidence that Poppy would deliver. The local florist then did a great job delivering on our vision the day of the wedding. The price was very reasonable and the flowers looked beautiful!

I was a little unsure as to how it would go, using an online flower company for my wedding, and not actually meeting in person with anyone. I had a great consultation call but knew my vision had to be communicated multiple times before the big day so I was concerned about how that would go. Poppy flowers exceeded my expectations! The flowers they brought that day were stunning and were exactly what I had envisioned. The communication from the initial consult all the way to the florist that came to do the setup day off was great, quick and friendly. Everything Poppy flowers did was exceptional!

Poppy is a fabulous service! Working with the coordinator to determine my floral needs and styles was a dream process. Additionally, the team created the arch of my dream! The primary reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is that the team initially dropped off the wrong boutonniere colors for the groomsmen and fathers. Additionally, there were no care instructions shared for the bridal bouquets and I found myself tearing several drooping flowers off of my bouquet to prevent drawing attention to the parts of the bouquet that looked limp and dead prior to the wedding ceremony ever occurring. Again, overall. I was very happy with the service!

We loved working with Poppy and the flowers were perfect for our wedding in Denver! Anna was great to work with leading up to the event and our venue coordinator said the delivery folks were awesome as well. The flowers were gorgeous - we appreciated their flexibility and really felt that they took all of our design notes to heart.

I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

Working with Poppy Flowers was great! I wanted specific flowers for my bouquets, but didn't need a huge floral package so I was able to work with them on creating a spread that made sense for us and our budget, while also getting what I wanted. I would highly recommend working with them!

We are so happy we went with Poppy for our wedding florals! We did not need enough flowers to meet the minimums required by most full service florists but we also wanted help with delivery and set up so Poppy was the perfect option. They helped me customize my florals even when I changed my mind 1000 times. It was hard for me to visualize and articulate what I was picturing in my head but they 100% understood my vision and it turned out better than I could have imagined!

I had a great experience with Poppy. We basically got exact replicas of the inspo floral arrangement photos I uploaded to their customer portal. And they made every little change to every arrangement I asked for. They got specialty open tulips for my bridal bouquet, they matched all the specific dark jewel tones I asked for, even for a summer wedding when dark colors are not as in season. They gave me the specific Italian ruscus and snapdragons I wanted. They sourced all of the specific ribbons I asked for to tie around the bouts and bouquets. Basically, I got exactly what I asked for, and everyone was very impressed by our flowers. Not to mention, it was about 1/3 of the cost of doing it with a flower shop in my area. And all I had to do was leave photos and comments in their online portal to get all of this done. The easiest vendor to work with! Would definitely hire them again!

I truly couldn't say enough positive things about Poppy! From the moment of finding them and inquiring, they were SUPER attentive! I even showed them ideas of what I was thinking and they helped put together the count, the vision, etc. The portal that they use as well is extremely well done with so many options, the ability to chat 1:1 with your florist, automatic monthly payments, it was amazing and made it SO simple! AND ALSO the day of flowers were PERFECTION

Poppy was amazing. The entire process was easy and seamless with periodic updates on my flowers. My initial consultation with Lauren was so helpful. She was wonderful and answered all my questions. Access to the online portal and the ability to interact with the Poppy team over the design was super helpful. The end result was amazing. The flowers were beautiful and lasted so well outdoors. Poppy was easy to work with, accommodating, and communicative. That said... the florist left business cards all over the venue next to the arrangements! This was totally inappropriate and embarrassing once guests pointed it out to us. The flowers themselves were nice. If you have the budget I'd just go with a local florist so you can actually communicate with the person who will be at your wedding; Poppy doesn't let you do that. Otherwise, Poppy is a solid option.
