We hired Portland Catering Company for our cocktail hour, buffet, and bartending services, and overall, we had a great experience! Positives: • The staff was incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. They were willing to make last-minute changes without hesitation—like when I requested a quick change to the napkin layout, they handled it with no questions. • Our guests gave all the compliments in the world about how much they loved the food and how friendly the staff was. • The cocktail hour food was a huge hit—everyone loved it just as much as the main meal! • The pasta buffet was especially delicious and a big success. • The staff went out of their way to make sure we (the bride and groom) got to try all the food, which we truly appreciated! Concerns: • They provided only 4 bottles of wine for a group of 75, which ran out quickly. We ended up needing to purchase more soda and alcohol from the grocery store before the wedding ended, even though we had paid for an open bar. • We had specifically requested certain brands for alcohol, like Modelo or Coors Light, but they didn’t have them, despite saying they’d try to get them. Overall Recommendation: We would recommend Portland Catering Company, but make sure to double-check that they have enough drinks for your guests. As far as food goes, you’re in good hands—they’ll deliver a delicious meal and appetizers that your guests will rave about, and they make sure the couple gets to enjoy it, too!

We hired Portand Catering Company for our fall wedding and we are so thankful we did. They made the process stress fee and simple which helped make the entire wedding planning experience more enjoyable. The food was delicious and the staff at the event were friendly and kept everything neat and clean throughout the event.

Portland Catering was a great fit for our wedding day food! We found Portland Catering because we know the owner, Eric. Katie helped us fine tune our menu, working through several different options. We settled on their Signature Wedding Collection menu, as well as two appetizers and a charcuterie board for the cocktail hour. The staff on the wedding day was phenomenal and helped with every detail including staying after to help clean up. All of the food was delicious, and we owe them a big thanks for how smoothly our day ran.

We used Portland Catering Company for our passed appetizers and grazing tables at our wedding on 10/23/21 and they were AMAZING. From the start, Katie was so easy to work with and always quick to respond to any of our questions. We initially thought we only needed waitstaff for our cocktail hour but she recommended having them for a few hours and that was a life saver!!! Holly and the other caterers went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had an amazing experience. They even went out of their way to make sure the wedding party had appetizers outside while taking pictures and packed the cutest bag for my husband and I to enjoy the next day! They helped with cutting the cake and ensuring all sliced pieces were placed perfectly on our dessert table. Also, all of the food was DELICIOUS and our guests couldn't stop talking about it! I cannot rave enough about Portland Catering Company.... food and service were both AMAZING! We would recommend them a million times over!! Thank you Katie, Holly, and the rest of the team for making our day so perfect!!

The food is absolutely amazing. Honestly the whole process with them was seamless, from the tasting (which is free, and shows how much confidence they have in their food), to setting up the contract and payment to the event. We loved Julie so much as a point person and they made our evening unforgettable.

Catering was the hardest decision we faced during wedding planning. When I began my communications with Portland Catering, I was so impressed by their responsiveness, and how helpful and detailed the staff was. My husband and I wanted to do a big pasta bar for a 200 person event, and with Portland catering, we were able to put together our perfect menu at such a reasonable price. Julie and team were so flexible and understanding in accommodating dietary restrictions, and special requests (including bar tending and specialty cocktails), and on the big day, the food was absolutely incredible! I cannot tell you how many of our guests told us ours was the best wedding food they had ever had. I absolutely recommend Portland Catering to any bride looking for their caterer!

The Portland Catering Company did just a phenomenal job at our wedding. The food was fantastic and we got tons of compliments about it. They were also extremely flexible, which I think really sets them apart (and also being the most reasonable catering company we talked to and we talked to at least 5 or 6). They let us bring our own alcohol and served it for us and provided all the ice and necessary glassware. The staff helped a ton with the set up and tear down of the chairs and tables as well. Julie from PCC was incredible. She was very responsive and flexible during the planning phase. She came to our venue walkthrough about a month prior so we could figure out logistics, the set up, and all our questions. During the day of the staff was amazing and the bar and the buffet ran very smoothly. I can’t stress enough how incredible Julie and the whole staff was and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hiring Portland Catering Company was one of the best decisions we made! Not only did they have affordable pricing compared to other caterers we checked out, but the quality of service we received from booking until the wedding was phenomenal. They were very quick to respond when we had questions and accommodating to our requests. The food was AMAZING and that sentiment was echoed by our guests throughout the night. We definitely recommend PCC to any couple getting married in Portland.

Julie and Portland Catering Company are beyond amazing. I can't even begin to tell you how easy going, quick to respond and sweet Julie was throughout all of the planning stages. The food was wonderful and she literally took care of everything. Portland Catering Company was recommended to us from a bridesmaid who used them at her wedding 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier that we had them cater our wedding.

Portland Catering Company was super flexible with me. I wanted a deconstructed pasta bar instead of pre-made pasta dishes and they made it happen! The food was excellent, we got compliments on the catering all night long. The chefs came in, cooked, set up the buffet and never even had to talk to me. Everything went off without a problem.

The food was excellent!! The staff was very accommodating and personable. They are very reasonable and had an awesome bar package. I would definitely use them again for other catering events.

We are so happy we went with Portland Catering Company! The food was excellent and all of the servers (including the bartender) were friendly and professional. The bartender in particular made sure we (the bride and groom) were always taken care of. We would highly recommend them!

We chose Portland Catering Company because they were so easy to work with leading up to the wedding, but we were unfortunately disappointed on the day of the wedding. They were not very organized and did not follow through on many requests. For example, when planning we were told that they would set up the centerpieces, which they refused to do the day of the wedding. They also ran out of food and a table didn't get salads, even though our numbers were confirmed. If planning with them, be VERY specific about what you want them to do, and have it in writing.

We could not have chosen a better catering company for our daughters outdoor/home wedding in August. We had a prior taste testing and were able to choose any of the items on the menu, that was soooo helpful in making our final decision. Everyone raved about the appetizers before dinner, and many compliments on the main buffet. Katie was a wonderful person to work with, through meetings and emails she made sure that I was absolutely happy with every detail. In my opinion, they went above and beyond the duties of a caterer, and made our daughter and son in law's special day just that. Catering is a major decision in planning a wedding, I could not have made a better choice. Kudos to the chef, waitstaff, and of course Katie!

We cannot rave enough about the wonderful service we received from Katie and the Portland Catering crew. From the moment we inquired about having them serve our special day, they were so incredibly helpful, responsive, professional and just plain fun to work with. Katie did such a wonderful job planning in advance and managing to our needs (and budget) that we had no surprises and no headaches the day of. This included planning for nearly 200 guests at an outdoor wedding without a kitchen! They arrived early, had their own self-contained setup to manage all our needs, and were incredibly courteous and friendly with our guests...we really could go on. They prepped the food freshly on site and it was a hit; truly delicious (as attested by sooo many of our guests) and highly recommended.

We got Portland Catering through the package plan that we took at our wedding/reception site. Katie was a "dream" to work with, and quickly answered any questions that I had. They even took care of the food allergies that I and my daughter had without any fuss whatsoever. We had a lot of choices in our menu, and Katie made sure everything was taken care of. The food was very good, and what was supposed to be hot was hot, and they also made sure we had plenty of food. I also loved having the leftover food donated to a shelter. I would highly recommend using this vendor. You will be well taken care of.
