Mike from Portsmouth Catering co was wonderful! He helped make sure our day went as smooth as possible. He set up our charcuterie board and made sure our meals were ready for the v...
enue staff to plate. He had great, quick communication. He made picking a wedding menu so easy by asking us a few questions and coming up with something. Day of, all the food was delicious!!
Michael was great to work with. From customizing our menu, to the tasting, to the day of, Michael was friendly and made it a point to make us feel involved in the customizations an...
d taking our opinions. He was great at listening to what we valued/cared about the most for the day, and provided honest feedback making recommendations based off his experiences in the business. We opted last minute for a buffet style dinner, and couldn’t have been happier with how it all turned out. Having a 180 person wedding, we were nervous about dinner taking up “too much time”. Him and his team did an amazing job moving things along, and all of our guests breezed through the stations. Everyone raved about the passed apps and dinner, particularly talking about the “uniqueness” of our menu options. If you’re looking for something different, memorable, and amazing, Michael is your guy!
Michael and the team at Portsmouth Catering Co were wonderful to work with and we loved the food at our wedding! From initial outreach, to menu planning, and the big day, Michael a...
nd the team made the process, fun, stress free, and left us feeling thankful for everything! We loved the food but were also very appreciative of all Michael’s guidance and patience with our venue. His help and responsiveness made a big difference! Thanks for making the process fun, and of course, for the late night spudsters that all our guests loved! We still have people talking about the crab Rangoon and phat Thai!
10 STARS!!! (At least!) Michael and his team MUST be your wedding caterer, there is no doubt. Michael spent countless hours with me and my family to ensure we had the perfect menu....
He accommodated every one of our quirky menu requests, including the most delicious (and cute) sesame noddle takeout boxes during apps! He also curated an incredible Noah board that my husband and I got to enjoy while taking our portraits because Michael’s team prioritized getting us food the whole night. We were even served our late night snack of pretzel bites while on the dance floor! The assortment of our buffet bar was incredible and our guests LOVED getting to taste so many different flavors (that complimented each other) on one plate. Michael and his team even helped us come up with the BEST summer signature drinks. I can’t say enough great thinks about PCC - we just love them and owe it to them for our day being so amazing!!!

al 2020 date to 2021, with easy communication and accommodations. We are very fortunate to have worked with this team. All the guests loved the food and could not stop talking about the flavors in every dish! We highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding or event catering company to hire them!
Michael, Deb, and the entire Portsmouth Catering team are a dream to work with! As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of caterers and working with them was one of the best experi...
ence I've ever had. My clients picked Portsmouth Catering after being dissatisfied with the initial caterer they had chosen, and they were super excited to have found Michael. Leading up to the wedding, Michael and Deb were extremely communicative and fast to respond. They hadn't worked at the venue before, but took the time to visit in person and become familiar with the space and the kitchen so that there were no surprises day-of.
On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time and took the time to review the timeline with me to make sure we were all 100% on the same page. The food was absolutely incredible and all of the guests were raving about it! They went above and beyond throughout the day to make sure me, other vendors, and of course the couple and their guests were supported.
I cannot recommend Portsmouth Catering enough - they are truly a dream to work with, and I hope to have the chance to work with them again soon!
We used PCC for our wedding food and couldn't have been happier! We did a food tasting, created a menu, and everyone was so great about last minute changes and pricing. We had a ba...
ckyard wedding of over 200 people, so things were pretty chaotic. PCC did a great job feeding everyone, anyone we talked to raved about it being 'the best food they've had at a wedding'. We provided Tupperware, and the staff packed up all of the leftovers for us to enjoy for the rest of the weekend. 100% recommend them for catering an event!
We used PCC for our wedding and the food was delicious! Leslie of Love Affair handles their coordination and she was wonderful to work with! Everything leading up to our wedding wa...
s great. Our wedding was at Hamilton House Gardens, which is a beautiful spot but there was a ton of rain right before our wedding so the area under our tent became swampy. While Hamilton House Gardens is a gorgeous location, the layout and the rain/mud made for an especially challenging catering event. The size of the property coupled with the poor weather caused a few hiccups in the service, including some confusion about the bar service between the cocktail hour and the reception. After our wedding, we spoke with PCC and Love Affair about these issues and they were receptive and eager to improve. Overall, great value and food!
When we began to plan our wedding, my fiance's biggest concern was the catering and that it was delicious, while I do not eat meat and wanted family style farm to table. With almos...
t 85% of the guests coming in from out of town it was really important to provide an entire weekend for them to enjoy, so we booked Michael and his team for the Friday night welcome dinner (pig roast - husband was thrilled), Saturday wedding reception and cocktail hour (charcuterie boards with family style dinner), and Sunday brunch (breakfast burrito food truck). All the food was incredible and our guests RAVED about how exceptional the food was. The team even left the pig roast leftovers from Friday for us to have later in the weekend! Michael also suggested these amazing disposable and biodegradable palm plates that we used for the reception and cocktail hour that were beautiful and added a really special element to the table spreads. The only area I could see a little room for improvement I will say is that they can be a little hard to get a hold of and disorganized at times, but I can't fault them for that because the quality of product they deliver is superior.
